Summer of Treason

religion of peaceThis summer looks to be one of the more interesting summers in memory.  With the recent Orlando massacre fresh on our minds, the typical political talking points and nonsense continues.  Many on the Left still have no clue what to say, as long as they don’t offend anyone.  The Right is fed up with the left and the inability of the government to do their damn job and protect it’s people.  Message to those on the Right….the government can’t protect you, ever.  Message to the Left…’ll never take our guns, so shut the fuck up about it.

But let’s move on from those subjects for now, they have been beat to death in print and on TV.  Recent decisions by the Trump campaign are, as usual, making the news.  This time it’s about the news as Trump has pulled press credentials from the Washington Post.  This I find hysterical.  Finally, someone reminding the media that partisan reporting isn’t really reporting, and the Washington Post is nothing short of a Left Wing rag.  It’s long time due to get the Liberal biased media to change their tune, or become irrelevant.  Here’s a link to this story:

In another revelation that will surely get ignored by the Lame Stream Media, hackers have been busy by hacking into Twitter accounts of Black Lives Matters leadership.  Screenshots were saved and say a great deal about many things, including the possible collusion between the Obama administration and the upcoming protests at the Republican and Democrat conventions.  In this first screenshot, Mrs. Lynch is clearly named :

But this isn’t what should concern anyone, as we all know these protests are going to happen and the Left will try and paint Trump as a racist, even though no one can quote him saying a racist comment (can the Left do anything without lying?).  In this next screenshot, you can see for yourself what the real goal of Black Lies Matter really is:

While none of this is likely to cause the election to be cancelled, it is fun to see into the minds of the real racist’s in this country.  At least we may now know to what extremes the convention protests may be heading.  It’s gonna be a fun summer, keep your guns loaded and your cupboards full  🙂

  1. gmanfortruth says:

At least the comments section is working again 🙂

  2. Dale A. Albrecht says:

Regardless of all the tweets….I keep thinking about what Obama said during his first campaign for president. “I’m going to fundamentally change America”

He certainly has taken great strides to do that. Congress has proven to be totally powerless in the face of this president and his administration. If you or I ever lied to congress or committed the actions that Ms Lerner, Mr Holder, Hillary, Geitner (on his taxes), just to state a few examples we’d be in prison so fast you’d not have time to say boo. The rollout of Obamacare sign up to friends of Michelle and totally messed up. The hacking into the personnel files of Government employees and nobody seems to suffer any consequence for complete incompetance and ignoring the laws. Deliberately destroying government property to evade investigations and nobody seems to care, the fact that lying and cheating by politicians and their spinners and adherants is so common the people just shrug….how far we have fallen these past years…

this summer will be very interesting to say the least.

  3. I like your comment. I cannot figure out the Republican Party for the life of me. Trump represents 90 plus percent of what they say they want. Both Romney and Bush probably 60% (ignore the lip service) yet they want to deep six him. The question about the GOP is, do they really have no sense of what winning and governing mean , are they a secret part of the problem, or, since the 1930’s do they have such a low self image that they eagerly welcome whatever crumbs the democrats throw them like some retarded puppy whom you can kick all day but cuddles up in your lap at night after you feed him?

A reset in American politics has been a long time coming. I think back to my own conversion in 1964. I have routinely backed candidates since who have lost during the selection process and wound up voting, with extreme distaste, for the lesser of two evils. Little did I know I was in a vanguard. It seems a good part of the republican party has now caught up to me. Finally, 90 percent of that camel is in the tent and people have noticed. Still, the supposed party of small government and republican principal has bailed on the one guy who could kick the camel out.

As I told our friend Charlie who at the moment will vote Trump as a protest (if Jill Stein does not bewitch him) you have absolutely nothing to lose with Trump. If he is a phony, then he is no different than the other phonies if he is not…..then we have a chance. By the way, in my opinion, ANYONE who has any connection with Goldman-Sachs through marriage, employment, loans, mortgages is part of the problem not part of the solution. GS is a litmus test for me and should be for all. It is the Goddamn Reichsbank!

I wish I knew more about Teddy R and the fights he had with congress. It seems to me that there are very close analogies here. Even if T wins, he will need to steel himself and align strongly with supporters in congress because guys like Ryan and McConnell will align with Pelosi and Reid to thwart him.

What he does have though is the same as Teddy. The ability to go over congress to the people and use the damn bully pulpit.

    • Just A Citizen says:

You grant Trump far more support and influence than he has now or ever will have.

The Republicans do not suffer from self doubt or loathing. They suffer from Demographic Reality. The “Conservative Movement” has failed in the US popularity contest. That movement has taken the Republican party to a place where it cannot win and those seeking to keep power via elections know it.

I laugh at those howling about the R’s not standing and fighting on principle, yet they continuously vote for the “lesser evil” rather than vote their own principles. Poor judgment usually gets poor results.

      • JAC,

We have to define “conservative movement”. The conservative movement being proffered is some weird vision of something cooked up by Bush I, Bush II, Romney, Bush the almost III, McConnell, Ryan and the rest. That was NOT what I signed on for in ’64.

Reagan’s mistake which we still pay for was in keeping Bush I for term 2. Thought it then and still think it now. After cursing us to death for the next 50 year with the phrase, “voodoo economics” he should have been put to pasture in ’84 and a real Reaganesque follow up VP elected. Ronnie digressed from his basic principles in both terms to collapse the Soviet Union. It was his successors duty/obligation to follow through in the next eight years. Ronnie gave us a squish and we still pay for it.

I was always bothered by Ross Perot’s opinion of Bush 1 and his involvement with the POW issue. I feel the same about Colin Powell’s feelings towards Bush II, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

        • Just A Citizen says:

First, you have identified the primary reason why it is unpopular. It cannot be definitively described. Not even by those claiming membership. Thus it is easy to define based on the most vocal so called members who fit the stereotypes of fascist dictators.

Second, what ever it was, it’s growing unpopularity is due to the inclusion of the “religious right” becoming a major partner. Hence, Cruz’s lack of popularity. It was not his McCarthy looks. It was the appearance that he was always preaching at everyone.

Reagan’s big mistake was not just Bush I, although that was huge. It was violating his own budgetary, small govt. principles. He did not collapse the Soviet Union, nor did he substantially help it along. He simply created a moment of clarity for Gorbachev.

If Reagan had not driven up the debt the Conservative legacy would be alive and well. But instead the left can point to Reagan as the CAUSE of our massive National Debt and the despair of “trick down economics”. Regan was a seer when articulating his vision of America, but he was short sighted when it came to governance. He should have realized that compromise today could be used to destroy his legacy later.

          06/10/2016•Jeff Deist (mises)

“Conservatives once stood for judicious use of government power and minding our own business in foreign affairs. Today, 100 years after the beginning of the progressive revolution, conservatives don’t conserve anything. They vote for big-government schemes, favor globalism over real capitalism, and advocate an aggressive foreign policy that installs American troops around the globe. They’ve lost any claim to the mantle of “limited government,” and lost every battle concerning abortion and social issues. Worst of all, Republicans have created a bloated jobs programs for themselves—Conservatism, Inc.—that shows nothing but contempt for its own voting base.

Is the GOP the next Whig party, consigned to history?”

I think this gratuitous criticism by a “libertarian”, but it does reveal how many feel about “Conservatives”, and/or Republicans.

    • Just A Citizen says:

One other response, to your comment about Congress not being able to counter Obama.

How could it when almost HALF of Congress is on his side?

  4. Just A Citizen says:

To bad the hacked comments were made public. Now the other side knows they are being exposed. The hacks should have been sent to the FBI with a letter explaining they would be made public if the FBI tried to hide the crime.

You see, if AG Lynch did in fact meet with this person and did in fact say the things claimed, she is guilty of sedition and provisions of RICO.

    • gmanfortruth says:

I doubt this will hit the MSM. It’s not all that impossible that they are being watched anyway, considering we are all being spied on. 🙂

Even if Lynch is involved, Obama will protect her just like he appears to be protecting Clinton. Frankly, I don’t think we have a legitimate government anymore. At least not one that is provided for in the Constitution.

      • I consider our current government a rogue government. If it were a legitimate government Lynch would already be in prison, Holder would already be in prison, Lerner would already be in prison, BOTH Clinton’s would already be in prison, and the asshole in the White House would never have been ‘elected’ President in the first place.

  5. Just A Citizen says:

What is that saying about God loving a good joke?

After visiting the “east” a very long time ago I swore I would never venture east of the Rocky Mtns. again. Denver was my point to never go past. In recent years I travelled to D.C. and then to Michigan to see my daughter.

After traveling to extreme Southern California even more years ago, I swore I would never travel to that region again. Including Disney Land. You guessed it. Daughter wound up in a school south of L.A. Made several trips to see her and vacation with the family, including a return trip to Disney Land. It was actually more fun as an adult.

I swore I would never live in the Communist State of Oregon. I recently spent three years there. I call it my time in purgatory for some sin I do not understand.

In 2006 I swore that I would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House. Short of murder, I exclaimed I will do what is necessary.

God laughed and then gave me Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee…………….

I think God is the Great Coyote!!

  6. As I recall before Trump even announced there was a gathering of potentials in Iowa. All the big names talked, Carly, Carson, Walker, Cruz, Trump, etc. At the time I was disappointed with Cruz and Walker. Perry was just OK. The three that I thought stood out were Carly, Carson and Trump. I think I posted my comments on them here at the time.

I have never liked Trump, never watched his TV show, hate braggarts such as him. I still hate his typical me me me stump speeches, but when he gets serious in one on one interviews or gives a serious speech he makes sense. He is not always as conservative as I would like but he is pragmatic.

This much I do know, I do not want another Clinton in the WH. Hillary is only interested in scoring the first female presidency and selling whatever she can to make a fortune. She is not interested in moving this country forward or what is good for the country. She is a known entity and quite frankly all bad. Trump is a coin toss. He could be terrible and then again he could be great.

A lot depends on what Congress does. Will they cooperate or just continue being irrelevant. The current batch of Repubs in Congress are spineless turncoats. The Democrats are even worse. Because of their lack of fiscal control, we turned them out in ’06 and ’08. We hoped they got the message and tried again in ’10. Then we got Romney, the spineless. He had Obama on the ropes but wimped out in the final debate. The R’s need to take debating lessons. They are terrible at it. They promised better in ’14 and then wimped out again. I have no compassion for these rhinos. Even now with a strong personality like Trump leading the pack, they cannot unit. Pathetic.

I do not see anyone on the horizon who possible can give us a course correction except Trump. And as I said it is a toss up.

By the way, anyone else see Mrs. Clinton’s statement about how people under FBI scrutiny should not be allowed to have guns??

I guess she is technically correct, since she does not have a gun. It is only the dozens of poor fools responsible for her safety.

Then again, I wonder if she and Bill have a little pistola’ stashed away someplace.

    • However it IS perfectly OK to run for POTUS while under FBI scrutiny.
      Like I said…rogue government.

2014 data. Unfortunately this is the latest and does not include the last two years of what appears to be escalating violence. Then again, maybe it really is not escalating.

    • I will predict an upswing on the basis of the BLM folks. I just keep hearing and seeing how many more black folk are arrested/incarcerated than whites. This is gaining a whole lot of traction in a generation that has no memory of the 1970’s, 1980’s and early 1990’s.

Even if you watch a show like “Blue Bloods” surprisingly conservative, there are the background characters screaming for less Police “harassment” in the Black community. The ’70’s will be back with a vengeance so long as cities are run by folks like Rahm Emmanuel and De Blasio,

  13. gmanfortruth says:

Gun grabbing Liberals filibuster…..idiotic. Terrorists don’t care about laws. They don’t need permission to buy guns, just ask people in Chicago how those gun laws are working out. Liberal gun grabbers are hypocrits, nigh a word after a weekend of bloodshed in one of their controlled cities, but kill 49 gays at one mass slaughter, IN A NO GUN ZONE, and they want guns off the streets. These people make me sick.

Stop political correctness, stop selling guns to Muslim’s on the terror watch list. Have an appeals process for mistakes (which are plentiful). PROFILE! While not all Muslim’s are terrorists, all terrorists are Muslim. Stop whimpering how conservative christian 2nd Amendment supporters are more dangerous, that bullshit and they know it. These idiots in DC don’t realize that we know what lying bloviating garbage they are. They should tread carefully, go to far and they will be gone, all of them, which is LONG overdue.

    • Just A Citizen says:

How about NOT MUSLIMS on the “Terror Watch List”??

I love how this title of a list is being thrown around. When is someone going to ask the media or the FBI/Homeland Security to prove that there even is such a list.

There was and remains a “No Fly List”. This list includes thousands of people who have not reason to be banned from flying. Examples are made public only when it involves someone of notoriety.

There is no DUE PROCESS involved in being put on such a list, which is then used to deny basic RIGHTS.

And there in lies the LYE being perpetrated upon the American people by the Democrats.

You want to talk about a Dog Whistle, there you have one. Howl about the Terror Watch List when you are really trying to get people to support banning guns.

      • gmanfortruth says:

I actually think the said lists are useless and unconstitutional. If the idiots in DC are going to have a “war on terrorism”, then have a war on Islamic Jihadist’s who engage in these acts. The situation is that they can’t do much UNTIL an actual crime is committed. Our legal system demands such (or so it used to). What the gun grabbers want to do is empower them to kill more people, and in more violent ways. So far, we haven’t had car bombs, buses and train passenger cars blowing up. Don’t expect that to last long.

I know you know this, but the government cannot protect the people from these kinds of events, it’s totally impossible. The only real option is to get more people to carry concealed and make that point VERY public. If only two people could have shot back at the Orlando killer, it could have saved dozens of lives. Instead, it was a no gun zone, ill prepared with adequate security. People need to accept that they are on their own for the most part, because when you need a cop in seconds, they are 20 minutes away. Liberal’s can’t seem to comprehend that.

What we need is a system of due process, as you suggest. However, with our current courts, I’m not sure that would even work.

It’s time to play a game called That Statement Is Absolute Bullshit! My name is Mathius and I’ll be your host for tonight’s contestant: GMAN! The statement is: While not all Muslim’s are terrorists (true), all terrorists are Muslim.

Just in the US, and just in the last few years:
8/5/12: Attack at Sikh Temple by white supremacist Wade Page
5/31/09: Execution of Dr. George Tiller by Christian right Scott Roeder (egged on by Bill O’Reilly)
7/27/08: Church Shooting at Tennessee Valley Unitarian by Christian Right Jim Adkisson
Various: Fire Bombings and sundry attacks on Planned Parenthood clinics (esp ’94 Brookline, MA)
2/18/10: Suicide attack on Austin IRS building by conservative Joseph Stack
6/18/84: (old, but I felt compelled to include it) murder of liberal talkshow host Alan Berg by white supreacists
4/19/95: Timothy McVeigh / Oklahoma City Bombing
10/12/98: (another old one, but very important one) Murder of Matthew Shepard by anti-gay peers.
7/20/12: Aurora Theater Shooting by Jame Holmes
Pretty much every school shooting in the last 20 years, but especially the 10/2/06 West Nickel Mines School (Amish) by the pastiest white guy ever Charles Carl Roberts IV.
      The Bundy “Militia”
      The friggin’ KLAN
      The Aryan Nation
To be fair, I’m going to add the eco-terrorists ALF, ELF, and PETA and, why not, the Black Panthers.
Also, probably, whatever it is that Black Flag has been up to lately.

And, leaving the US, because it’s a perennial favorite of mine: Baruch Goldberg and the Cave of Patriarchs Massacre. Also, for good measure, Sabra and Shantilla.

      Thanks for playing.

        • upon further investigation,….

As a result, among a total of 189 members indicted, 13 were sentenced to death, five were sentenced to life in prison, 80 were given prison sentences of various lengths, 87 received suspended sentences, two were fined, and one was found not guilty.

And executions in Japan are by hanging. And the actions are condemned publicly and with passion. Lesson well learned as there are no copycats. Further, this and other killings in the name of Christ are random…not coordinated and connected, not a movement and not a jihad.

Also doesn’t count because the jihadis don’t care if they blow themselves up, they will martyr themselves in the name of allah. These other clowns left their poison behind and bailed and were captured.

When one points this in perspective, the left is both foolish and lack an understanding of what today’s terrorist mentality is. To them, an escaped lion from a nearby zoo is a terrorist.

  14. gmanfortruth says:
  15. Mathius says:

You know I love you, but this smells like nonsense.

Anyone who thinks the Obama administration isn’t “colluding” with BLM at some level is out of their minds. Of course they are. That’d be like suggesting that no one in the Trump campaign is “colluding” with the Tea Party. Of course they are. And, while I’m not sure what laws might be relevant that change “coordinating” into “colluding,” I don’t really see anything wrong with that. Left leaning organizations work to coordinate with other left leaning organizations. Right leaning organizations work to coordinate with other right leaning organizations. Or do you really think it’s some kind of magical coincidence when these kinds of things spontaneously happen?

The idea that the Obama administration, however, would want to arrange protests at the Democratic convention over a failed Bernie candidacy is laughable. The idea that Obama wants to declare martial law to stop the election is equally laughable. I’m willing to bet he’s counting the days until he can ride off into the sunset – he’s aged 20 years since he took office.

Either the person who was hacked is a deluded low-level moron or this has been altered / forged. I don’t know who Netta or Deray are, but I’m having trouble taking any of this seriously. But I will say that protests outside of the conventions isn’t close to the level needed to halt an election.

I still remember all the left-leaning panic about Bush’s supposed likelihood of cancelling the election – if Obama did it, ever Red Shirt in the country to would be marching on Washington, musket in hand. (except Texas – they’d just secede)

That said, I’ll wait to see what you can explain using Glenn Beck’s Chalkboard.

    • gmanfortruth says:

I think you missed a few sentences, lol. I doubt that protests could cancel elections. Not a big enough event. But did you notice that BLM has their supposed ordets, spread the racist lie, so OTHER groups can concentrate on the protests. That sounds legit, considering who the tweets are from.

Elections are the least of our problems. I think the economy will be a bigger issue, depending on terrorist activity.

When you say laughable, so you mean “an unknown video caused Benghazi” laughable? Not sure why you think Obama wants to leave, all he has done is golf, lie and vacation on our dime. 🙂

      • Mathius says:

        “spread the racist lie”

As George Costanza famously said: It’s not a lie if you believe it.

I – personally – do not think think Trump is a racist. I think he is (as I have previously indicated) a manipulative sociopath (as are almost all politicians).

That said, there is plenty of support to believe that he is a racist/bigot. He very deliberately blows the dog whistle with the thinnest veneer of deniability – it should hardly be surprising that many people do honestly believe him to sincerely hold such beliefs.

And advocating for that narrative is not a lie unless you believe otherwise.

        • gmanfortruth says:

Can you at least quote one real comment he has made that is racist?

        • Just A Citizen says:

If there is plenty of evidence of his bigotry and racism, then why don’t the minorities that have worked with him say so?

Some have complained about his tone and style, but not a one has claimed he has displayed actual bigotry or racism towards them or anyone else.

I love how folks on the left can find a “dog whistle” in almost any statement. It never occurs to you that the person is simply speaking the truth about an issue. Just because it involves illegal immigrants and Muslim terrorists you think these are dog whistles. For what?

      • Mathius says:

        depending on terrorist activity.

        Terrorism is a non issue.

9/11 killed 3,000 people. Twice that number die in America every day.

You know what is an issue? Infrastructure. Education. Health care.

You know what else is an issue? People’s panicked or opportunistic reactions to terrorism which, ultimately, feed into it.

Stop worrying about the bee stings and start worrying about the anaphylactic shock.

        • gmanfortruth says:

I don’t worry about terrorism, not enough people where I live to make an attack news worthy. Ya’ll city folks have more of an issue. We all should worry about the kneejerk idiotic reactions from the various governments. Besides, Hillary thinks if we make friends they will go away, naive old hag.

      • Mathius says:

When you say laughable, so you mean “an unknown video caused Benghazi” laughable?

It wasn’t unknown. It was well known and well protested.

I watched it – it was pretty damn racist and hostile to Islam. If I were Muslim, I would be very offended by it.

The timing and other factors lead them to believe it was related for about a day until they learned more and amended the story. I will never understand why this is such an issue. They answered the question of “why” to the best of their current knowledge and then, when they learned more, gave a revised answer. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work?

        • Mathius, that is absolute BS. They knew within hours that it was a terrorist attack. They spouted the video nonsense for weeks, lied to the families, sent Rice on TV who basically called the Libyan president a liar on air. Very undiplomatic. Wake up.

          • I assume you have something to back this up?

About 10 p.m. that night, Clinton issued a statement that said in part, “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior, along with the protest that took place at our Embassy in Cairo yesterday, as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.”

But on Thursday we learned that, at 11:12 p.m., Clinton emailed her daughter, Chelsea: “Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Qaeda-like group.” No hateful video, no protest. On Sept. 12 Clinton revealed more. According to State Department notes, she told Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil, “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack — not a protest. … Based on the information we saw today we believe the group that claimed responsibility for this was affiliated with Al Qaeda.”

Those pesky emails. You should expand your media base and leave the liberal left, they ain’t truthful and never have been.

              • Thanks gman, I was at work so could not respond. You cited the examples I had in mind. Mathius, I am sorry I came across a little harsh. I was in a hurry to get out the door to go to work. I am disappointed with those on the left who are propping Hillary up and ignoring all the facts that are obvious. As I stated above, I do not want to see the Clintons in the WH again. If we are stupid enough to elect another affirmative action president we deserve the consequences.

      • Mathius says:

all he has done is golf, lie and vacation on our dime.

First of all, Presidents don’t actually take vacation. They just work from different locations. If you’re honest with yourself, you know this is true.

Secondly, Bush took a lot more “vacation” days

Third, Obama has certainly played a lot of golf (my quick check online says 186, but it was two years old). But that really is kind of irrelevant. Eisenhower played 800. Why does this matter? Bush played less, too, but quit because he said it felt wrong to play golf while troops were fighting in Iraq (*ahem*).

“I know what it’s like to be in the bubble. I know the pressures of the job, and to be able to get outside and play golf with some of your pals is important for the president. It does give you an outlet. … I think it’s good for the president to be out playing golf.”

        -George W. Bush

Do you really want a President who never does anything to unwind? Would you be happier if he did nothing at all in his “spare time” other than sit in a darkened room angrily muttering “Muslims” over and over?

        • gmanfortruth says:

Obama signature legislation, Obamacare is a disaster and FAILED miserably to lower costs. His Executive Orders are mostly unconstitutional, he has lied about everything and has failed as a President. When your that bad, you should be following the footsteps of W. My guess, he has been useless, too busy practicing his bowing before other world leaders.

No doubt that there is some coordination between politicians and outside groups. Even POTUS administrations.

However, such coordination cannot be done by heads or employees of Federal Agencies. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW. And it has been for decades. If AG Lynch did in fact have that conversation then she violated Federal Law. PERIOD.

When a White House does such things it has to be done from “outside” the white house and by people who are on staff with another group. Such as election staff.

What makes Obama’s groups different is that he and his minions have used them to help manipulate public activity and attitude beyond anything seen before. The Bush Admin had the Conservative media talking heads on its side. So usually they just had to issue talking points and the sycophants would run with it. Not much else needed.

Obama has the left wing talking heads but he also has this large underground organization (I use underground here only to denote not official. It certainly is visible if one wants to look). I reported on that over 4 years ago here at SUFA. In fact, it is this organization that has been a point of heartburn with the DNC and the Clinton campaign. Obama has never promised or indicated he would share this organization on behalf of Democrats or the Democratic party.

Personally I think that is a fine tradition of the American Military. Shows great initiative. the movie “Kelly’s Heroes” is based on a true OSS event and Steve Ambrose makes it clear that Lt. later Major Ronald Spiers looted his way through Germany as did an uncle of mine.

Rick….I drove through that area 3 years ago. I’ve been in around and through the Boston area since the 60’s. The last trip was unbelievable the complete change from a blue collar working class cities to a third world shit hole. When I stopped off for gas and a food stop the people were not from “south of our border” but from the M/E and Africa. Nobody acknowledged English. At least the Irish immigrants spoke English.

That said….when I was still working for a major telcom company, I used to track “worldwide” damage to things like cross connect boxes. I’m not talking about simple damage, but major obvious vandalism, designed to bring an area down and takes days to repair. There’d be things like miles of “copper” lines gone in countries like Colombia etc. Like we here have over the years have had a major spike of vandals breaking into houses and stripping out every pipe and wire to sell as scrap. There it was to melt down and bullets.

The belt lines around Boston had the highest amount of the cross boxes being destroyed as anywhere in the world. Extending up into New Hampshire which now the lower part is a suburb of Boston. The damage extended like rings when you drop a pebble in a pond, Following the major roads.

I seem to remember back somewhere in an advanced Psych course that you can process the written word something like 5 times faster than something you watch. Ergo, people are getting dumber.

  29. Just A Citizen says:

    Morning thought:

Every generation gets to a point where they think the country has gone to hell. Each comes to the conclusion they have “lost faith in my govt.”, or worse yet, “lost faith in my country”.

We read and study history to try and understand what this means. Is it real or just the ruminations of those who remember something different. In other words, just complaining about change. Because humans in general do not like a lot of change.

Adams and Jefferson themselves complained about how the “new generation” had already wasted the legacy they and the other “founders” had given them.

So how do we know if the country has in fact gone to hell, or if it is just the disgruntled old people who are suffering nostalgia of a time which did not exist in reality?

That is where history comes to play. We can see the difference between what actually was and where we are. The Nation created and the Nation that now exists.

There is no doubt that when measured against the ORIGINAL standard it has gone to hell in a hand basket.

But the standard has changed. Because new generations have different ideas of how things should work. Do they not have the right to make those changes, just as the founders of this country changed things in their time?

So if the standard can, and does, change how can we determine if the country is failing? How do we know if things have gone terribly wrong when what you experience is what the majority apparently want?

    • When words no longer have concrete meaning, there is no country, no Constitution no law. It has gone to hell. Other night went to an event for my family Doctor, He is 94, sharp as a tack, up on the medical journals and still practicing. One hell of diagnostician. Started out as a vet, went to Osteopath school and finally became an MD. So, speech after speech extolling his life and virtues.

One of the more interesting things he’s done is join the Shriners and become a Shriner’s clown. He actually went to “clown College” in Florida! In the middle of the event, a fellow Shriner, in full clown make-up including fuzzy red/blonde hair came in and started doing his schtick! Right after our State Senator Bob Gordon (D. Bergen Co.) got up to give his little speech but before he spoke he just had to turn to the clown and say, “Thank you Mr. Trump for taking time from your busy schedule”. Of course tehre were loud catcalls from teh Democrats and silebnce from teh Republicans.

These assholes make EVERYTHING political then moan that politics have become “uncivil”. Gordon was draft dodger during Viet-nam and at High School graduation just had to make his speech about Viet-nam. His comments were inappropriate for the event and mean spirited which is all the left is. Mean spirited.

Somebody should explain to me why I have to get information on the attempted Trump assassination mainly from British sources. The main stream press has “spiked” it here. Note: the kid has “issues”. Looking at photos of his bedroom I ‘d say he sure does.

  30. JAC……This statement is historic…..”“Congress’ inability or unwillingness to pass a law desired by the executive branch does not default authority to the executive branch.”

Perhaps if a few more judges follow law…..Obama’s pen will run out of ink.

On another subject…..sorry did not get up to see you….the weather in Reno and points north was so intense with high winds, it prevented a lot of things. The spousal unit and I watched the bigboys trying to land in 50 MPH cross winds……one in three missed their landings….with some flights being cancelled. The turbulence was so bad from the surface to 15,000 feet across the Sierra’s… prompted the FAA to close some air routes. Will trry again later this year. I ended up driving because I simply do not trust nor rely on commercial air travel anymore…..the drive was very interesting…as I came through Las Vegas on I 40 and up to Reno,,

,but left taking the northen route through northern nevada to Provo Utah and south to Montrose Colorado…..what I saw was interesting as it actually supported some of what Gman has been reporting on his conspiracy theories wtih the BLM. On some of the back roads……specifically Nevada 50 eastward…..the BLM had checkpoints set up out side of Austin, Nevada. The guise was to monitor the picking up and transporting of rocks (for whatever reason)…but in the same process, they were asking if there were weapons in your car. I had to laugh….because I had Texas plates. Of course there were weapons in the car….holy shit, who travels without them? They asked to search the car….I asked if they had a search warant. I was told no and allowed to go on. How many people would face up to them…..

A little further on, we stopped at a Mc Donalds in Provo….I over heard an interesting conversation among obvious ranchers having their coffee….they were in a heated discussion about the Presidential elections….all of them to a man, were saying that this current administration is the worse thing that they have seen in their life time….but in the same sentence, they were worried about Trump as an unknown….but their conversation also was… it would be better to have an unknown in the White House than career politicians.

What jumped out at me most in my drive….was the number of closed up mom and pop stores in the smaller towns and the run down conditions. It was sad.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Was wondering if you made it back. Those winds you describe are called Washoe Zephyrs by northern Nevadans. Not uncommon for speeds to hit 80 to 100 mph. As a kid I saw entire trailer parks rolling through the desert like tumbleweeds.

This BLM incident is very interesting. Will have to do some checking on what is going on down there. I can tell you that the mountain ranges you crossed along that route are National Forests and not BLM lands. You also crossed the Naval bombing range on Hwy 50. A place where I once saw a bomb laying in the highway.

The BLM generally has NO AUTHORITY to establish a road block on a US Highway. So this is very strange indeed. And asking about guns? They are in Nevada, everyone has guns.

    • Just A Citizen says:

P.S. The absolutely best steak house I ever found was located in Austin. In the side room of a small bar there. Austin is quite the town, filled with history. The Forest Service District Office was once the House of Ill Repute.

  31. JAC…..I have found out that the BLM does have executive authority to establish “rolling check points” on the pretense that normal tourist routes MAY contain cars that have taken samples or momentos from NAtional Parks ot BLM controlled land. Still checking it out. But they do not carry written authority…something is not right. I did not fall for it but I wonder how many do.

    • Just A Citizen says:

It is my understanding that Federal Law gives them authority to stop people on local, county and state “roads” when, and I emphasize “when”, the BLM owns the land on both sides of said road.

US Hwy 50 is a Federal Highway, not a local, county or state road.

However, if the local Sheriff or the State has executed an agreement with BLM to enforce laws within the State or County they then have authority to stop people. Even for moving violations. In this case the BLM is effectively “deputized” per the agreements.

I tried yesterday to reach the head LEO officer for the BLM in the Battle Mountain District. Could not get a hold of him. You might also give the Lander County Sheriff’s office a call. They might be able to answer the why, what and how of this. With your connections to homeland and Texas security you might get a warmer response than I will.

  32. Just finished reading the intel reports on the Texas border for the month of May thru June 15, 2016. In that 45 day period, there were 141 detained…..54 Mexican, 6 Honduran, 4 Guatemalan, 1 Belize, 3 Venezuelan, 14 El Salvador, 4 Pakistani, 7 Syrian, 1 Egyptian, 14 Somali……the rest classified as OTM ( other than Mexican ) but not fully identified as yet.

Isn’t it amazing how the border is so secure as Clinton and Obama have said….there is no refugee problem on the border. Keep in mind that this was just the Texas and New Mexico ( we now patrol New Mexico at their request ) border. Wonder what is happening in Arizona and California.

Oh, also , in this report, is te capture of 31 weapons….not one of which was American made and two of these weapons were outdated Soviet made RPG’s.

Yes, this was and has been reported and, no, it is amazing it does not make the news.

    • Funny, I forwarded your comment on Facebook and it is being shared all over the place.

      • Dont know about face book….I am not on social media except here.

        • And I havew been called a liar so many times…..I laugh at that as well. Even on this site, spme have said that if I cannot provide a link to something, that it is not believable… if everything that is poisted is truth. I just tell it…..people have to make up their own mind.

    • Yo Colonel. In your border updates you frequently mention confiscated weapons. Is it good or bad in this instance that the weapons were not American? What difference does it make 😉 where they came from? I can make assumptions but. I never get that part.

      • Anita… does not matter the make of the weapon for the purposes of killing someone….but it does show that they are not getting the weapons in the US. My point being that the weapons are not that easy to get….contrary to the left assumption that they are readily available.

In Texas, even in the gun shows, weapons are simply not sold to just anyone…..99 percent of gun owners are very careful whom they sell to.

  33. OOOPS……prosecutor in Baltimore is now 0-3 with trials…..the Freddie Gray “rough ride” is not carrying any water at all…..what now.

  34. The MSM is working overtime to fact check Trump’s speech and are getting it wrong on multiple counts. It is hilarious to read and watch. Once again the news that fits the narrative.

  35. Watching the Brexit results. At this point it is less than two points apart for exit.

Funny, I’m seeing a lot of parallels to WW 2. Perhaps it is my fondness for Churchill and for his fondness for “English speaking peoples”.

Seems to me that we are seeing a replay in many ways of 1939-40 without the shooting. Most of us think that the world has its head planted firmly up its anal sphincter. The Eu is dominated by Germany and by German bankers. Everyone seems happy with that even though Greece and Spain to a lesser degree have demonstrated the downside of German domination. The Germans have made their move towards the East and The Ukraine which led Russia to counter. “NATO” has meddled all over the place. The international banking community is border-less so our guys are, like pre WW 2 US industrialists are attached to them at the hip and beholding to nothing but money and power.

Suddenly, and totally unexpectedly Britain wakes up! At the same time, after going along with the program for years, the US population wakes up (Bernie and Trump). Revolt is in the air.

Perhaps we are actually seeing an attempt to head off the impending oligarch take-over. The plans of the elites, the intelligentsia have been seen by these English speaking peoples and like the Nazi menace there is finally a move to do something about it.

Scotland and Wales are hopeless being way too far gone, but we will see if there are still enough Englishmen out there to accomplish something. If they pull it off, it will be a shot in the arm for efforts here.

Churchill quote, “It is not the end nor is it even the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning.” (hope so)

This shows much more of the Twitter hack in this article. Much more to see:

  37. I am not surprised. I predicted the fall of the EU sometime ago and I think that England leaving will start the fall. They are a greater economic power than Germany and France. No more global bulshit and no more being told what to do by countries that do not have England’s best interest at heart. As a family, if you remember, we divested ourselves of any and all stocks in association with the EU sometime ago…..we divested ourselves from the Euro as well….we are probably going to buy into the Sterling since it has dropped some and we were poised to do just that. It was very interesting to see all the stock brokers and 401(k’s) and Keoughs that jumped on the band wagon. Goldman Sachs and the large multi-national corporations are going to be hit pretty hard and rightly so….the bond market is going to take a hit and rightly so…..we built our cash reserves to take advantage of certain things and we will do so…..right here in the US.

This is a pretty shot to the stomach for global economics. It is a pretty good shot to the stomach for open borders and unrestricted movement in Europe. People are rejecting it…and rightly so. England fired its shot across the bow….but even more important is the rejection of Global Economics and Global banking. The Central Bank will take a blow to the stomach and the global elite will have a sour taste to their eggs benedict this morning. Thier coffee in their china cups will not be as rich tasting.

Make no mistake about this….it is an economic decision that was made and the global trade and the global markets and the elites that positioned themselves to this global movement and control…………..better take a hard look. The US was poised, under Obama, to invest in the EU heavily if the vote went the other way. We have been contacted by all the venture capitalists and the hedge fund managers and the stock brokers that have been trained in the last 20 years on global economics and International economics saying that it is becoming a one world…..wonder what is being said this morning. Wonder how they are going to explain 10-15% drops in portfolios that were invested globally.

France is going to have a huge problem now…….and rightly so. The “something for nothing” crowd have now lost the money coming from England and will have to live off of someone else. Germany will have to retrench because wthout the English Sterling, Germany cannot handle the pressure of financial responsibility.

The biggest blow will come to the immigration. England took its borders back and, I think, that the rest of Europe will soon follow. The Elites will have to retrench…..I think that this is a beginning of independence again….and a rejection of “Kumbayah”. Hope so.

I hope that Americans are watching.

  38. I like to watch the business channel of Fox and the business channel of MSNBC and CNN….compare them,…..and all the young squirts that have bought into this global economics thing are using terms as “plummeting” , “driving down”, “negativity”…the sky is falling………all over a 2-4% drop in stocks and averages……..

These youngsters are not looking at history…… is funny to watch.

  39. Great buys out there……

  40. Brexit:

Buying calls. Lots and lots of calls.

There’s blood on the streets, boys and girls, time to buy.

And when we follow the Brexit with the Greexit, it’ll be time to buckle your seat belts! Yeeeeeehaaaawww!

    • Yep….money to be made.

      • But very careful…….bargain hunting is not my thing….because it is so volatile. We are staying totally away from the EU and banking stocks….we are staying away from commodities in total. We are staying away from transportation in EU and Asia…..China has no choice but to devalue……Russia is dead in the water….this Brexit will hurt them significantly. England is going to make out like a drunken bandit over the next three months.

For example, I jumped on defense this morning……already up 3%.

Saw an interesting piece on Germany…..another attempt at Euopean takeover…..this time by economics and not bullets. It isnt working. Merkel has a huge problem now….and she had already put the brakes on with Greece and the European Central Bank. We are staying away from International Banking stocks…they are tempting but our read on them is stay away.

Gman…..the dollar just became the safe haven currency. The problem with that is where the trade deficit is concerned.

Mathius…..I see France leaving before Greeece.

        • The Greexit, Franxit, and Itaxit are all on deck, methinks.

D: The reason I love options so much is that you can control your downside risk so perfectly. If I want to buy a long call, I cannot under any circumstances lose more than I paid in premium. It’s like going to the casino with a specified amount of cash and purposely leaving your wallet and credit cards at home. If I decide I’m willing to lose $5k being wrong about the UK coming back over the next month, I can do that and if I’m horribly, horribly wrong and it transforms instead into a Mad Max style hellscape, it won’t matter one iota – I’m out $5k and not a penny more.*

So, if you like your international banking stocks, buy some calls. If you’re rooting for it to fail, buy some puts. But as long as you’re the buyer and not the writer, you’re safe and stand to cleanup if you’re right. There are some other ways to structure your bets which are a little more advanced and I strenuously recommend learning about them. I’ve been on-and-off out of work for over a year and a half now – careful bets have kept my bank account in the green.
          *except stupid commissions.

          • “I’m out $5k and not a penny more.*”…………..but you are still out 5k plus commissions. You are still running a 50/50 risk on what you did want to invest. No odds. Much like the tourist gambler who goes to Vegas wanting the big hit……not knowing the odds. If you go to Vegas with $5,000 in your pocket and you don’t care if you lose it…….you will lose it if you do not know the game. The general public does not know the investment game and, I dare say, neither does the MBA graduate. The general public hands over money to “investors” who make out whether the investor wins or loses……usually loses.

As an investor in certain things, it is incumbent upon me to know the ins and outs and the pitfalls of investing ( all of them ). NEVER trust anyone with your money, meaning no disrespect to anyone at all. In the end, it is the investor that is responsible…..totally responsible, It is like 401(k’s). Who is doing the investing? Who, in the end game, is responsible? It is the owner of the 401…..and the “manager” can just shrug and say…Gee, I was wrong, and pocket his/her/its commission and goes and has a beer.

Puts and Calls are a tool to use but if you do not understand what that is……….you might as well walk in the ring with a prize fighter when you do not know how to make a fist. I wonder how many 401(k’s) were investing in speculative stocks and bonds in international trading…trying for the big hit and now what is happening. It was expected….We, as a family, saw this years ago and got out. We do not invest in banking stocks nor international stocks nor do we invest in the foreign markets….it is way too risky. We stand better odds going to Vegas and playing Roulette……at least the odds on the Roulette table are only 76% in FAVOR OF THE HOUSE. Why the hell do you think the Elites want to control global economics….they are the house.

Everyone is worried about the DOW saying….”look how much money we lost”….really? I want to know who “lost money”…..not paper worth…. and paper worth is not money…it is not cash. I wonder if the general public actually knows what the DOW is? I doubt it. I wonder if the general public knows what the NASDAQ is….I doubt it. Investing is for people who have EXTRA money…..not those who do not have expendable income.

So, all the HOOPLA over the Brexit is because all the major players who use OPM (Other People’s Money) and the big boys who have expendable cash got burned because they are losing some control. The Central Banks and this “Kumbayah” movement is manupulation of the masses and the masses are beginning to wake up. A one world government is nothing more than putting your control inthe hands of the few. The European Union has cost jobs and money and freedom… has not increased nor made anything better.

Now, understand, I am not an investment counselor nor do I want to be. I do not follow any standard nor economic philosophy. But I do know one thing. Before I invest, or before we invest, we learn about what we are getting into….we do not call anyone for suggestions. We do not go to any broker and ask “what is hot” nor do we say here is $100k, make me rich. They do not know any better than we do, what is going to happen, I do not care how long they have been in it. The player on the market floor does not know what is going to happen…they are like pit bosses trying to take your money, and live off commissions. IF they knew better….why are they still on the market floor working for commissions. How many of you have been to Vegas and listened to the dealers or pit bosses tell people…this is what the house does or this is what the “book” says… throw your money out there and “voila” it disappears. Same deal with stocks and bonds. IT IS A BIG BOY’S GAME.” and IT IS A GAMBLE.

The other thing that I am saying, is that if you do not know what you are doing…….stay away. NEVER…..under any circumstance… your money with anyone else. That is our position.

  41. Just A Citizen says:

My, my. What hyperbole this morning over the Brexit vote.

My take: The only reason this could trigger a global economic catastrophe is because the global economy is in a shambles. Buried in debt. The Central Bankers were playing games, using the healthy countries to fund their debt schemes.

Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason for the UK leaving the EU to cause global financial turmoil.

Also please take note of the undertones about military protection and European splits. You see the Elites are subtly claiming that the EU is necessary to counter nationalism in Europe because they fear a repeat of the conditions which caused WWII. They seem to not realize the EU dictating terms to members was a potentially bigger problem to consolidated rule.

The other day I saw foreign affairs experts going on about how we need to remain engaged big time in Europe because we are needed to “counter the forces that led to disaster in the last century”.

Remember when I said our international politics is based on the “fear of Hitler”??

  42. Just A Citizen says:
  43. I have never been a fan of international global economics…….everything in the hands of a few.

  44. Might be reading too much into it but was watching the Birmingham returns come in last night. Seems that this heavily Asian City voted strongly to leave which was a surprise to the commentator.

As I have said here, no one wants to ask the legal immigrants, especially Hispanic ones about how they feel about illegal immigrants. This might just be an indicator.

Remember what i said about Trump Security/Intel? Right place, right time again…..By accident?

    • Of course not……….he knows exactly what is going on and when… is the left that wants to think that Trump is more stupid than Bush…..let them keep thinking that.

  45. What I have found very interesting…..I have been watching all the pundits and big time PHD’s from all these liberal colleges trying to explain away this thing. They are all clamoring about recessions and trade failures and how hard this is going to hit the US economy. They cannot accept the fact that jobs are NOT going to leave the UK. No one is going to close plants and move them. Japan is still going to sell cars and Germany is still going to trade with the UK. What is pissing everyone off is independence and the repudiation of a “one world”. Everyone is pissed off that cultures will never assimilate…..NEVER !!!!

One of the biggest items that is being over looked is the Muslim mayorof London….and where everyone thought that the Muslims do not want to change things, one of the first things that happened was the censoring of advertising in subways and bill boards because it offended the MUSLIM MAYOR. This is exactly what will happen……they ( the Muslims ) have no intention of assimilation….they have every intention of changing the landscape…..and they DO NOT HAVE THAT PRIVILEDGE.

I just saw a PHD from Harvard giving an interview that banking and trade will not happen with the UK and rightly so…..he went on to say that culturalism is a by product of discrimination and has no place in the world. Every one is the same……

    • They are also all saying that the stock market in the US has never been hit this hard…..they seem to forget that three months ago there was a 15% adjustment that drove the averages far below where they are now,,,,and that 30 days later….all recovered.

Way to go England. I, personally, would like to see nothing short of a complete collapse in Europe’s economy. It would serve them right and the US will go on just like before and be much the stronger for it. But, what the hell, I am not a believer in the one world socialist philosophy.

      • I can see Winnie with a big smile on his face, kicking back with a Bourbon in one hand and a nice Havana in the other. If he had a third hand it would be up with a “V”.

    • The Mooselim Mayor says it is because these “offensive” ads bother fat girls who don’t have the body type the ads portray. See, there is a good reason. These guys always have a good reason. In propaganda 101 we call that misdirection. Can we talk Armour into putting up some bacon ads? How about some pork hot dogs?

  46. Dale A. Albrecht says:

Been traveling the last few days. Enjoying the not to understate the “severe” weather in West Va and Ohio. The storms met all criteria to be defined as severe. And we have some nice ones on coastal Carolina.

Thought I’d just lump all my comments and observations in one reply…

    1) The courts in Baltimore have got to be restoring faith in the legal system by slamming the prosecutor and acquiting the officers….total political prosecution and not just selective.
    2) Supreme court upholds the lower court rulings on shutting down Obama’s EO’s on immigration because he’s tired of waiting on Congress….take that Obama.
    3) Brexit…..the Brits show some spine. Great news. I never could understand how by them leaving the EU, but never joining the Euro would hurt them. They just reclaimed their soverniegnty (sp) Reclaimed their borders etc. It was one thing to accept internal movement of people in the EU member nations, but to do what has happened over the years of open (external) borders and refusing to protect the member states from an alien invasion. Of the countries most hit by the EU policies and the Euro, I predict Italy to go 1st. The Slavic and Balkan countries already put up put up fences and said stuff it. Greece will, just plain default and bring out the dracma again, but they regardless will continue their failing policies. Holland was royally pissed off 15 years ago against the EU and letting rampant muslim immigration, refusing to assimulate and accosting the dutch women for offending them, And then the courts go after the dutch for objecting….what about the muslims being more tolerant of others.

My prediction all in all,,,,,the backlash of all the pent up frustration will make Krystalnacht look tame. The jews themselves were at least patriots and were not looking to overturn or subject the peoples of europe and the world. Excepting the bankers like the Rothchilds.who funded both sides hedging bets. Like the Duke brothers in “Trading Places” quote…the beauty of it all is that we make money whether or not the client loses or wins…we still get our commissions.

    4) You’re right…nobody asks the “legal” emmigrees what they think of the illegals. Everything I’ve seen is that they’d vote to shut the illegals down. Follow the process and be welcome.

Maybe just maybe the border patrol will start doing the job they swore to do and dare Obama to fire them all. I’d bet the States would fund their salary if they’d do their jobs. In other words Obama made law he was not authorized to do and the courts see it that way.

    This excerpt is telling:

The reason investors were “startled” is because the MSM, pollsters, and globalists attempted to convince the public that Brexit didn’t stand a chance, tried to repeat it often enough that the people on the “leave” side of the equation were disheartened, perhaps would not show up to vote… they miscalculated the dissatisfaction of the general populace and their attempt to “lead” the voters in the direction they wanted them to go… failed.

This is also why I’m not buying the polls about the general election. Considering the MSM is tilted left, this would be a tactic they would *and likely have) use leading up to November. The government controlled MSM simply can’t be trusted to tell the truth. Falls in line with the government inability to be honest.

  49. gmanfortruth says:

A new report from Open the Books, a taxpayer watchdog group, found that for the first time in American history, there’s more armed domestic federal government employees than there are members of the Marine Corps, and that number is steadily rising.

I hope that I’m not the only one who has been watching all of this unfold.

  50. Just A Citizen says:

OK, the media is making a big deal over 1.5 million Brits have signed a petition demanding a do over on the Brexit referendum. Part of the story line is the margin of victory was “small”, about 1.5%, and OVER 1.5 million want a do over.

Someone forgot to tell the MSM that the 1.5% margin comes to a little over 1.5 million people.

Only in the MSM can a single number be “small” and “huge” in the same story.

  51. JAC…this is really interesting…..England was not part of the Euro Dollar at all. Their exit does nothing to affect trade unless the EU wants it to. All it does, is England keeps its money and does not fund the socialist movement any longer (except their own), they do not have to abide by rules made by non elected officials ( those appointed by the Elites ), their can now control their own borders……and England just fired a shot across the bow…..closing their end of the CHUNNEL…….They have already set up the immigration check points… one coming in effective Monday.

The Stock markets reacted stupidly…and will rebound. Nothing will change.

    • Dale A. Albrecht says:

The number of small businesses and some not so small that the un-named EU regulators killed for one reason or another. Small classic boats almost didn’t survive, because they didn’t meet the most modern standards of safety where you can be just as stupid as you want and nothing will happen. Forcing businesses to close in one country, ie Croatia because they had a thriving business that competed with one in Germany. Or forcing them to change the name of a 2000 year old wine that sounded in it pronounciation like a new named wine in Italy called Proseco, which created the name in the 90’s to get away from the stigma of “spumante” because they can not call it Champagne which it is but the french had the name first. Losing the holes in the cheese due to the anal bacteria free society. Shutting down home businesses that have been thriving for generations….then allowing unrestricted external immigration…trying to run industrialized nations on wind….Rah for Great Britain. Everytime they got entangled in continental European problems it has hurt them.

The EU regulators were very much in their affect as the NRA had on small business here in the 30’s…..and who formulated that law…the big boys wiping out the competion.

Question is D13….who’s next to grow some? Texas? Obama sure as heck wants you guys gone.

      • I’m in…….dont think it has not been talked about…….

        • Dale A. Albrecht says:

Alli could see is that Britain gave up its national rights and identity without any apparent gain. The EU laws and regulations did nothing but hurt GB and create a great sucking vortex robbing that nation. Never had France or Germany in past history cared one twit about Britain and only had aspirations of continental control. Joining the EU did nothing but harm for their defense against anything you can think of. Military, immigration, education you name it. At least the banks were smart enough to keep the pound. Sure it may take a hit just in panic but it will recover and if anything it will start the collapse of the EU and the Euro. The poorer nations such as Greece, Italy and Spain/Portugal always could control their well being and regardless of the exchange rate was a great place to live. Benefits were not funded by the allegedly richer nations who were just printing huge amounts of cash to pay and paper over the illusion that all was well. The EU might have done OK, if and only if they had followed through on the internal promise of no borders like the US and people could work anywhere a job could be had. But when they totally opened up the external border and let unrestricted immigration come in from people and nations that are a complete antithesis to european culture, overriding any and all objections of the member nations and prosecuting those that object when their lively hoods are disappearing such as they were.

As allegedly conservative Cameron was as opposed to Blair who absolutely was a EU syncophant, there was no change under cameron and the pace just accelerated to lose national identity. If Hillary is elected our pace will accelerate. Trump, just may be a pleasant surprise. Any other of the Republican candidates would have eventually totally toed the RNC line, which is nothing more than a slower pace of Hillary and Bill’s ilk.

  52. Trouble here in river city.

Is this part of gman’s conspiracy?

    • gmanfortruth says:

Although the appearance is that of a race issue, the far Left are beginning to engage more and more in violence to “shut” people up. This seems to be their current MO. While I don’t support white supremist’s, they have the right to speak freely. That right should be defended. These little NAZI’s are gonna learn the hard and painful way……just not sure when that will happen.

I am calling bull dookey on the notion that the FBI is deliberately starting this stuff.

Is the leftwing being manipulated? Yep! But it happened when they were young and being trained by their professors and left wing parents/peers.

Once you have formed a mindset as intolerant as many of these young people there is nothing required to trigger violent protests other than a tweeter or text message.

Now, will the various levels of govt. then use the events for their own propaganda? Will the media use them for ratings and further manipulation? Yep!

That does not mean they are being orchestrated by outside forces. Stories like this downplay the severity of the radical splits in this country. Splits fueled by anger, whether rational or not. It is the 60’s and 70’s all over again, only with more sophisticated organizations and communications technology.

        • gmanfortruth says:

I’m not sold either way myself. I know that some of these people at the Trump events are paid and recruited, by who is the main question. Some claim Soros, so if true arrest him for starting riots. Yet, noone seems to be the HEAD of those job positions. So one must wonder. I do know that the Christmas Tree bomber years ago on the NorthWest was ALL FBI and they admitted as much. While I doubt that FBI agents themselves have infiltrated, informants can easily do just as good a job.

But i also think that Obama’s political machine has much to do with it and Lynch is leading the pack. The corruption in DC is so deep and wide it’s unfixable without a major event.

    • How ironic when Fascist call other people Fascist. These scum will stop when they start getting filled with hot lead. Plain and simple.

  53. gmanfortruth says:

Question of the day!!!!! Is Obama and Clinton guilty of aiding the enemy? By whitewashing intelligence on Radical Islam, I vote YES!

  54. It is unbelievable how the left is obsessing over this Brexit and the wave that is apparently starting…..The Dems and the MSM are really upset big time.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Reading up on this over the weekend. I discovered that there have been several events the past few years where people voted against the EU and the power elite. In each event the elite forced a “do over” on the vote in order to get the answer they wanted.

Now we see a quick move to force another referendum in England. Looks like a repeat of the other situations.

Bottom line, I am not as confident as you that the people have found their footing. Looks like at least half are vulnerable to all the fear mongering.

      • I dunno JAC. I think Bernie had it right this time. There is a political revolution happening. Cameron himself says this was a referendum, not a neverendum. Immigration is a real threat to the little people on both sides of the pond, and the pushback starts there. THAT is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Start there and bring it back to the states. Paul Ryan is in a fight for his life. He’s a globalist, couldn’t win even his home town, supports a trade deal that must be looked at in a basement, with no notes allowed to be taken on it. Even Watters’ World citizens can smell a rotten fish there. The NeverTrump crowd can’t gain good traction. Brit Hume and George Will are just as washed up as Hillary. Trump may still have a big mouth. but Manafort is strong as nails at keeping the sharks in check. Gun sales surge again. There’s an anti Chinese goods effort happening. This list goes on. Everyone has been saying for years that ‘it’s the will of the people that creates change’. I think we’re seeing that will in live time.

        • Anita….never over estimate the Chinese thing…..people like cheap.

          • Yup. Walmart won’t go out of business, but I bet Texas Jeans will be getting more business.

          • You are correct sir. Somehow though, what has to be explained to the consumer is that they have been buying junk, are not necessarily paying less (,middle men) and there will come a point in time when nobody will even be able to afford the Chinese junk because NOBODY* will have a job! That IS, the only logical conclusion to what has been going on.

            * except bankers and hedge fund types.

            • Yep…it is beyond me that a lot of people (over half) think that it is a savings to buy a chinese product for $25 that breaks three months later and buy a replacement for $25…When they could have bought a better one for $40 that is still working. I don’t get it.

              • gmanfortruth says:

I’m with you on that Colonel. While it may take me a while longer, I buy the better product. I often shop for weeks or months for the best product at the right price. Best product being the key factor.

              • Dale A. Albrecht says:

I remember when I was 4 years old the postman delivering a shovel to the house. 60 years later the shovel is still doing its job.

Just returned from a river trip on my “new” 68 year old “Old Town” wooden sailing canoe. Also has it’s original sailing rig. Old Town under new corporate management has shut down its restoration section. Dedicating all production to plastics and cheap disposable products.

The silence and solidity of paddling in the canoe was awesome. No poink poink poink. just silence as it cut through the water.

        • Funny you mentioned gun sales…….hard to find AR 15’s down here……everyone sold out and ammunition all gone again…..Obama is our best gun salesman alive.

  55. Just A Citizen says:

So what will Texas’ response to SCOTUS be on the abortion ruling??

    • exactly what Abbott said he would do…..not pay attention to it. The fall back position from it was funding…..Texas will not fund abortion clinics unless they subscribe to the new rules. He has already defunded planned parenthood….and they are leaving Texas. Even the SCOTUS cannot force a State to pay for what it does not want to……The Texas compromise was that the State would support abortion if the doctors did it in hospital enviroment with sterile facilities and under supervision with admitting privileges. The individual clinics did not like that, of course, so it is very simple. Abbott said that the fall back provisions was no funding of abortion clinics….and that is exactly what will happen. No state welfare for abortion clinics either. What that will do is drive the cost of abortions so high, they will go elsewhere. Hate to see it be that way because some people will be hurt by it health wise but something has to give when it comes to usurping State’s Rights……we tried a compromise and it did not work….so we get tough.

  56. Been without the internet a few days thanks to a 90 old oak tree and an overzealous woodpecker.

Thought of this the other night . A very appropriate WW 2 Brit. tune to celebrate their departure. Sung by “The Forces Sweetheart”

  57. The markets on BREXIT are not a good indicator…..all UK banks are will financed and well capitalized……there is going to be no recall. Who gives a shit about the European Union and what they think. THey are pissed because they lost their cash cow.

What is the deal with our own news commentators, even on conservative sites, thinking that this is doom and gloom and it is not…..this is nothing.

    The elites are losing it.

    • Someone has yet to explain to me, from the other side, why, exactly why, this is a bad thing? I see the doom and gloom, the hyperbole and all the other crap but I do not see why it is so bad.

I think, that this EU thing, like so many of the dumb things our congress does started out as a good idea and went all to hell once the bureaurats realized they could mess with it. I remember, when it was first proposed thinking on it no further than easy border access between the European Countries, a common currency (the implementation of that one eluded me though with the differences in work habits among the different folk) and finally, elimination of trade barriers. It is obvious it went far beyond those things. So, what’s the big deal? Did it slow down the ultimate German Victory?

      • Dale A. Albrecht says:

I agree….What is so gloom and doom about leaving. Business will still continue. The little guy has been massively hurt by the EU policies. The idea of free internal movement was the promise but turned into a complete open peripheral borders. When the cost of power is sky rocketing and then sur taxes on top of that for “green” energy. The beautiful vacation spots being totally trashed by industrial windmills, to save the environment. The elites do not care, they get paid anyway. When business and the people have to choose…..not enough electricity to run factories and heat houses at the same time a few winters ago. The UK shut down their last coal mine last year. The conservatives just continued Tony Blairs policies without abatement. Sound familiar. These were soveriegn countries regaining the independence. The sooner the better.

If Italy, Greece and Spain don’t leave first I’ll bet the Slavic and Balkan countries go shortly. They had a brief breath of freedom from the soviet union and then went into the same controlling atmosphere but with no guns. It still boils down to a loss of your freedom and independence

  58. Just A Citizen says:

Have fun the next few days SUFA. I am headed to the might St. Joe for some fly fishing for the elusive Westslope Cutthroat trout.

  59. A little more on the near riot here in Sacramento. The By Any Means Necessary anti-fascist crowd were the aggressors. They planned at least 2 weeks in advance to cause trouble and even started a fund for bail and medical bills. The “skinheads” also planned in advance by getting a permit but I have not heard that they planned any violence.

If this kind of action continues through the conventions and election, it will prove to be a very trying summer and fall. So far no one has been held accountable.

  60. Dale A. Albrecht says:

Amazing for the people calling others fascists when they themselves follow the same exact tactics the fascists, nazis and bolsheviks used to obtain power. They also subscribe to the same politics and dream of social justice. The Nazi’s and those folks were anything but conservative. They were extremely violent left wing socialists not right wing conservatives striving to maintain the status quo or roll back time.

But then that argument is totally lost on all social progressives today. They are with following “By any means necessary” following Lenin’s strategy to the letter.
