Shut Down Time

th59EOZ7JBDear Chuck Shumer,

President Trump said he would shut down the government if he didn’t get the money for the border wall.  Fair enough, but in order to blame President Trump, he must have a Bill to veto.  The People’s House has passed a Bill he will sign.  Since this looks to come down to your Democrats and how they vote on said Bill, you should understand that you can’t blame something on Trump that you in fact do first.  It doesn’t matter one wit how many times Trump has said he will shut down the government, without that magic veto, he is off the hook.  Sorry to disappoint you!

Sincerely,

Mr. Common Sense

  2. President Trump said he would shut down the government if he didn’t get the money for the border wall.

Why does he need the money? I thought Mexico was going to pay.

    • Just A Citizen says:

You obviously do not speak Trumpeze.

      • No, I speak English, Spanish, and a smattering of Latin, Hebrew, and Yiddish.

You know, languages where words have defined meanings. It is my understanding of Trumpeze that the central tenet is that the responsibility for misunderstandings lies entirely with the listener and the words themselves mean whatever Trump wants them to mean at any given moment or in any given context. Did I get that about right?

So, just to be clear.. if the Democrats were to pass a fantasy bill that there’s no way in hell he’d ever sign.. and then he vetoed it.. THEN it would be Trump’s fault?

    • Yes, 100% Trumps fault. Without a veto, it’s going to be Shumer’s shutdown, part 2 😀

      • That makes zero sense.

I cannot blame you for failing to make a deal if I am being insane in my demands.

        ——–

I am trying to buy your Lamborghini Countach. You want 300k. It’s a bit steep, but roughly in line with the market.

So far, we have no deal, and it’s my fault because I haven’t made an offer.

So I offer you a buck fifty and a cheese sandwich.

You reject this offer because, clearly, it’s nuts.

Now it’s YOUR fault that we don’t have a deal?

        Huh?

        • It’s not just Trump, it’s Republicans as well. The wall has already been voted on and passed by both parties years ago, they just didn’t fund it. That sounds a lot like a bullshit law to make them look good for the next election without actually building the damn thing. Time to put their feet to the fire. But……

Congress appropriates the money. The House has. The Senates turn. If it don’t pass, then it’s Congress’s fault, not the Presidents, because Congress can over ride a veto, see what I’m saying. This is all political theater and I hope Congress has to work nonstop till Next Christmas so as to earn those paychecks and benefits. This could all have been avoided with a budget bill that covers everything.

Without a Bill to veto, then Ya can’t blame the President….Common Sense.

And did he get his deal?

        • I think Shumer may have walked into this thinking the House wouldn’t pass shut a Bill. He gambled and lost (maybe because Nancy said the House didn’t have the votes). Sorry Mathius, Trump has Shumer in a corner, pass the spending bill and send to the President or don’t and shut down the government. Shumer Shutdown 2.

YES! Because then his action would be directly responsible. tick, tick, tick, tick

Problems start from the top, and they have to get solved from the top, and the president’s the leader, and he’s got to get everybody in a room, and he’s got to lead. And he doesn’t do that, he doesn’t like doing that, that’s not his strength.” – Trump re the 2013 shutdown (in September)

“And, unfortunately, he has never been a dealmaker. That wasn’t his expertise before he went into politics and it’s obviously not his expertise now. But you have to get the people in a room and you have to get a deal.” – Trump re the 2013 shutdown (in October)

    • “Thoughts?”

You need therapy. And please don’t hurt me.

      • Any constructive thoughts?

And just because you’re wondering about Trump’s position and integrity doesn’t mean that you have to go around raping women and killing children.

  5. Dale A Albrecht says:

Bottom line is way back in the 1980’s President Reagan granted amnesty to 12M people who entered this country and didn’t follow the law. The condition was that Congress was to put together a comprehensive immigration reform bill. Regardless of who has been president and whichever parties controlled Congress that aforementioned bill has never been submitted to a president to either sign or veto. Continuing this never ending political hot potato no Congress will ever pass or submit to any president. If that were so back in Obama’s 1st term it would have been a done deal

  6. Maybe if the Crats hadn’t abandoned the DACA folks they would make a deal, which Trump has said he would do. But when it comes to the Crats, who they care about changes on a whim.

    • which Trump has said he would do.

      And said he wouldn’t do…

      “They have to go,”

“We will immediately terminate President Obama’s two illegal executive amnesties in which he defied federal law and the Constitution to give amnesty to approximately 5 million illegal immigrants, 5 million.”

“[…] we’re going to make a determination on the people that you’re talking about who are terrific people,”

“We’re going to show great heart, I love these kids.”

“I do not favor punishing children, most of whom are now adults, for the actions of their parents,” he said. “But we must also recognize that we are a nation of opportunity because we are a nation of laws.” (BTW, this is a fair statement.. but the laws in question are still shitty)

      ——

What I love about you, Gman, is that Trump can say anything he wants, take every side of every issue, then whatever he does, you see it as doing what he promised. And everything else goes down the memory hole.

Tell ya what: A) I predict that the stock market will go up and B) I predict that the stock market will go down and C) I predict that the stock market will stay flat.

Now, no matter what happens, I’m right and you, in your consistent reasoning, will of course note that I am a brilliant forecaster.

      • Trump changes his mind more than you change your underwear. So what politician don’t? It wasn’t all that long ago when Crat leadership was calling for more border security, now….not just no, but hell no. It seems to be a disease when in politics.

        • Trump changes his mind more than you change your underwear.

So… daily? And more often on gym days?

Trump changes his mind more than you change your underwear.

Exactly.. which is why you shouldn’t give him credit for keeping promises when he’s also promised the opposite.

It wasn’t all that long ago when Crat leadership was calling for more border security, now….not just no, but hell no. It seems to be a disease when in politics.

It’s almost like Democratic politicians are also hypocritical opportunistic pieces of shit…

          • Hope you and your family enjoy the Holidays. If nothing else, family time is always a great thing about this time of year. Peace!

  9. Just A Citizen says:

    Mathius

You started the day asking WHO is responsible for the shut down. When you got an answer indicating it is the Dems in the Senate you launched a repetitive barrage of Trump quotes. Such a sad testimony to your arguments.

First of all, what Mr. Trump said or did not say is IRRELEVANT to who I, or others, think is responsible.

Second, you appear to be blaming Mr. Trump because of his words expressed during political manipulations and negotiations. Is there some rule of logic that dictates a person must express their absolute position at all times when dealing with political problems?

Third, your apparent desire to drag Trump down is petty. And what gripes me is you have done this before over the shutdown options. It is ALWAYS the REPUBLICAN(S) fault.

If that is not your view then I apologize. But is sure looks like that is going to be your argument once again.

Gingrich passes spending bill, Clinton vetoes…………..Republicans caused the shut down.
Dems pass a spending bill, Bush vetoes………………Republicans caused the shut down.
Republicans pass a spending bill, Obama says no………….Republicans cause the shut down.
Dems pass a spending bill, the Rep Senate filibusters it…..Republicans fault.
Republicans pass a spending bill, the Dem Senate filibusters it……….Republicans fault.

You bitch about Trump acting like a King because that is obnoxious to our system. But when he cannot make good on his rhetoric you attack him for not being able to UNILATERALLY make stuff happen.

So how about you dump the hating on Trump schtick and tell us who and/or what is the cause of these continuous shut downs. This is not the first nor will it be the last.

How do you propose the executive and legislative branches reach any solution when they are so entrenched in polarized postions?

  10. Woke up this morning and everything is just the same, despite the scary government shutdown. The Senate is doing what they do best….nothing. I dub thee “The Senate Shutdown”

  11. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

There is not a single poll out there that I am aware of which shows less than majority support for the wall. President Trump has been “nice” up to this point. The D and R’s have been naughty flagrantly disregarding the will of the people on something that will pay for itself in saved social service spending in a very short time. Santa Trump has decided they will get coal for Christmas Oh, excuse me, I might offend, the HOLIDAY season.

Who did what to who? Ryan, Schumer. Pelosi and McConnell! To paraphrase Trump. I’ll shut it, I’ll take the heat for the ash-oles.

  12. What is the value of dinner?

It’s a Monday on a particularly bad year. Your whole family has been under a lot of stress, both physically and mentally, economically, etc.. Life has been throwing a lot of screwballs at you and it’s taking it’s toll.

Your children are teens, soon to be adults, and manage their stress by simply being as young and free as they can. One is staying with a friend for the upcoming weekend and the other is going on a trip with his church youth group.

You suggest to your husband a nice night out on the town, maybe reserving a booth at your favorite upscale restaurant that you visit on occasion, to have a nice relaxing dinner with service and quality, pamper yourselves a little because you need and deserve it. He, of course agrees, even responds with excitement.

    “Oh, that sounds great, sweetheart!”

He suggests driving across town to see a movie at the theater where you went on your first date. Just for fun. It couldn’t be more perfect, like a random anniversary.

The next morning you call and reserve a private booth for Friday evening, then check the movie listings at the theater. Thursday, you make a trip to purchase some new lingerie. On Friday, you skip lunch, opting for a snack instead, saving your appetite for that delicious chicken cordon bleu you’re already familiar with. You spend your whole afternoon getting ready.

You want to make it extra special, so you take extra care of yourself to look your very best for the love of your life. You do your feminine cleansing, shave twice in the bath, even doing the Brazilian thing, …trim your eyebrows, paint your nails, have your hair and makeup done up all nice and pretty and use the expensive perfume. You wear your new sexy lingerie too, but wrap up in a very elegant and conservative dress. No one would ever suspect what was underneath, not even your husband.

It’s now six O’clock sharp, you know your husband will be home any minute. You hear the doorbell ring, and when you open the door it’s him standing there with flowers, as if you’re dating and he has come to pick you up. And to your surprise, he also has a limousine waiting, one that he got at a huge discount through someone he works with.

It couldn’t get any better. You’re both in a great mood, excited, everything is going so smoothly and the sparks are already flying. This is going to be the best night ever.

You arrive at your favorite upscale restaurant shortly thereafter and are greeted with the expected courtesy and taken to your favorite booth in the corner. You order a bottle of wine and an appetizer, and enjoy conversation while you wait for your meal. You, of course, ordered the chicken cordon bleu with a side of mixed veggies and a salad, your husband; the seafood platter.

Twenty minutes later your food arrives via the kitchen manager. The plates are warm, the bread is soft, his lobster is still steaming and your two inch thick t-bone is seething juices next to your cheesy bacon baked potato and chives. And it all smells absolutely delicious. The only problem is that it wasn’t what you ordered. You explain this to the kitchen manager who apologizes and then offers to give it to you free of charge if you decide to keep it. You politely explain that you were very much looking forward to the chicken cordon bleu, and would much prefer it, even if it means waiting a few more minutes. He again apologizes and assures you that your plate will be delivered promptly.

Twenty more minutes passes, then thirty. Your husband has already cleaned his plate and you’re almost out of wine

“It should’ve been here by now, and we’ve practically been ignored.”

You make eye contact with the waitress and motion for her assistance. She comes over and hears your inquiry, responds with an apology and excuse of the obviously busy night, then gives reassurance that she’s going to check on it now. Your women’s intuition senses something subtly sarcastic in her tone, a hint of inexplicable resentment. But it’s probably nothing.

Ten minutes goes by and there’s no sign of the waitress. Two minutes, then three more, FINALLY!, …here comes your plate, hot steaming and delicious. She serves you your food and explains that it’s on the house, a token of their apology and gratuity. You enjoy your plate, pay for your meal and tip the waitress a little better than she deserved, rationalizing that she was overworked, that it wasn’t really her fault for the kitchen staff messing up the order.

Being as how you’re running a little behind schedule, you’ve missed the movie and have to opt for a later showing, which is only a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless. You can still make the next showing if you don’t waste any more time. So off you go with plenty of time to get there and ten minutes to spare before showtime.

Halfway there your husband’s belly is grumbling and turning as he becomes desperate to get to a restroom. So the driver pulls into the nearest convenience store gas station food mart where your husband can relieve himself of the big stinky monster in his digestive track. There went your ten minutes to spare, but you can still make it.

You get back on your way, only to run right into traffic pouring from a sporting event. No way are you going to make the movie now. You’ll be doing good to be free of the traffic that you would have otherwise missed. You decide to call it a night and go home.

You’re both contemplating your botched evening, have become grumpy and begin to make snide comments and bicker in your most calm and civilized voices. But as the trek continues homeward, the stress and attitude increases. Once you’re in the privacy of your home and are free to speak openly, it quickly escalates into an argument to the point of shouting. It doesn’t last long, but the mood is gone and your husband ends up sleeping on the living room sofa, having missed unwrapping the present you so carefully prepared for him.

The entire weekend is spent avoiding each other and the chance of more arguing before you’ve both thought it out. The kids return home on Sunday, and you both pretend all is well and that you had a nice time. Monday morning comes and it’s back to business as usual, all the stress of daily life.

What is the value of dinner?

Several months go by. One day while your our shopping, you spot the waitress with a woman who is obviously her mother. You then realize that her mother was a former employee of your husband. You can see them saying something as they briefly look your way, almost as if they were trying to be discreet about it. ..just a glance as they continue to walk through the mall.

    How interesting.

Later that night while laying in bed watching the late local news, you mention it to your husband. You learn that he fired her, that she objected and filed a suit for wrongful termination, although she was caught red handed embezzling a relatively small amount of money.

Did the waitress recognize the man who fired her mother? Does that explain her subtle tone of resentment? Is it possible that her ‘mistake’ was, in fact, intentional? Could it explain the turning stomach? Did she put something in his food? You’ll never know for sure, certainly will never prove it. But you know in your gut that is what happened.

Now what is the value of that dinner?

    RE: Christmas Party.

I’m happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on December 23rd, starting at noon in the private function room at the Grill House.

There will be a cash deposit for the bar and plenty of drinks! We’ll have a small band playing traditional Christmas Carols, feel free to sing along. And don’t be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus.!

A Christmas tree will be lit at 1:00 PM. Exchanges of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over $10.00 to make the giving of gifts easy for everyone’s pockets.

This gathering is only for employees.!

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    RE: Holiday Party.

In no way was yesterday’s memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday, which often coincides with Christmas, though unfortunately not this year.

However, from now on, we’re calling it our ‘Holiday Party.’ The same policy applies to any other employees who are not Christians and to those still celebrating Reconciliation Day.

There will be no Christmas tree and no Christmas carols will be sung.

We will have other types of music for your enjoyment.

    Are you happy now.?

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

I’m happy to accommodate you for this request, but if I put a sign on a table that reads, ‘AA Only,’ you wouldn’t be anonymous anymore. So how am I supposed to handle this.?

    Somebody.?

And sorry, but forget about the gift exchange, no gifts are allowed since the union members feel that $10.00 is too much money and the executives believe $10.00 is a little stingy.

REMEMBER: NO GIFTS EXCHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED.

    RE: Generic Holiday Party.

What a diverse group we are.! I had no idea that December 20th begins the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which forbids eating and drinking during daylight hours.

There goes the party.! Seriously, we can appreciate how a luncheon at this time of year does not accommodate our ‘Muslim employees’ beliefs. Perhaps the Grill House can hold off on serving your meal until the end of the party or else package everything for you to take it home in little aluminum foil doggy bag. Will that work.?

Meanwhile, I’ve arranged for members of Weight Watchers to sit farthest from the dessert buffet, and pregnant women will get the table closest to the restrooms.

Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not have to sit with Gay men, and each group will have their own table.

Yes, there will be flower arrangement for the Gay men’s table.

To the person asking permission to cross dress, the Grill House asks that no cross-dressing to be allowed, apparently because of concerns about confusion in the restrooms. ‘Sorry.’

We will have booster seats for short people.

Low-fat food will be available for those on a diet.

I am sorry to report that we cannot control the amount of salt used in the food. The Grill House suggests that people with high blood pressure taste a bite first.

There will be fresh ‘low sugar’ fruits as dessert for diabetics, but the restaurant cannot supply ‘no sugar’ desserts. ‘Sorry!’

    Did I miss anything.???

I’ve had it with you vegetarian pricks.! We’re going to keep this party at the Grill House whether you assholes like it or not, so you can sit quietly at the table furthest from the ‘grill of death,’ as you so quaintly put it, and you’ll get your fucking salad bar, including organic tomatoes.

But do you know that tomatoes have feelings too. They scream when you slice them. I’ve heard them scream. I’m hearing them scream ‘RIGHT FUCKING NOW!’

The rest of you perishing wierdos can kiss my ass. I hope you all have a rotten holiday.!

      VH…..not a joke!!!
Not that disrespect for others did not exist, I experienced no overt actions by people against others in my almost 50 years in the workplace. People respected each other. However since the 90’s and everything became codified. Respect for others stopped.
I saw it first at IBM, and eventually the place was sterile, nobody talked on any personal level. A fear pervaded that lest you even by accident said something perceived ad offensive termination was next. The person didn’t even have to tell you. HR was on speed dial.

When I started at AT&T it was a breath of fresh air. We had every race, religion, gender to whatever represented in the office and worldwide. Everybody celebrated the differences. Once we partnered with IBM in ’99, all that stopped. Everything wad suppressed. No humanity. It became a sad place to work.

Glad I don’t have to put up with the legislated and legal crap since out of the corporate world…..to me lawyers and legislators actually make it worse and drive resentments which raised like a boil these past several years.

I like New Bern. Always has been internation since it founding over 300 years ago. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you are or from where. Be respectful of all in a genuine manner. No force required. It’s a state of mind.

  21. What is the value of life, V?

I figure you of all people would be able to have some kind of answer, seeing as how you are so opinionated about abortion. You apparently value life. I know that is a really profound question, even to the point of being rhetorical. But try anyway.

Anyone else is welcome to chime in.

    • I suspect there are numerous people who can answer that question, much better than I. So I will just say this, I think our mere existence is so improbable that the fact that we exist at all is a wondrous miracle.

      • I think that is an excellent response. ..If for nothing else, it defines life as a miracle, therefore giving something else to consider, begs questioning the value of a miracle.

        Again, good answer.

    • I don’t remember that narrative. But, hey, you found a few articles, so I’m sure it was there.

I wonder how many articles I could dig up about Obama’s planned coups…. My personal favorite being the one which involved tunnels under the Walmart in Texas…

      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The main narrative I’ve seen is that Mattis and Kelly, in particular, were the grownups in the room keeping Trump on an even keel and that we could all relax a bit because they were there. And now they aren’t…… Oh, the horror!

      • That tunnel stuff was conspiracy stuff from people with way too much time on their hands. It’s amazing what the imagination can come up with.

As far as an adult in the room, the comeback to this narrative is “don’t worry, we without an adult in the White House from 09 to 17, and we survived 😀

  23. Merry Christmas…….The Colonel is on a trek…..will check in but back in full swing later in the week.

      • “Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill.” But unfortunately, it’s not impossible.

        • Hope is how humans rationalize the reality of having no options. It’s a form of denial, a defense mechanism.

The odds are infinity to zero that you will succeed and you see it as a 50/50 anyway because you have to. You make something up to accommodate it, start having those desperate “But maybe if this or that” kind of thoughts.

Hope is how you bullshit yourself out of a grim prognosis.

          • Canine Weapon says:

I think you meant to post that comment here.

            • I am simply explaining why I think hope, at least by itself, is nonsense.

Faith is defined as substance of things hoped for, evidence of the unseen. At least with faith there is SOMETHING to base it on; evidence and substance. Faith is more like a reason to be hopeful. But it’s really about the substance and evidence.

Hebrews 11:1 – Ἔστιν δὲ πίστις ἐλπιζομένων ὑπόστασις, πραγμάτων ἔλεγχος οὐ βλεπομένων.

              • I am simply explaining why I think hope, at least by itself, is nonsense.

I’m not sure why you’re quoting Hebrews at me, much less in Greek, but personally, I’m more a Matthew kind of guy… but then again, 1 Cor gets it right sometimes, too:

And now these three remain eternal: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Cor 13:13

Or, perhaps, you’d prefer: “Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” – Andy Dufresne

Anyway, Hope is a good thing.

And, if you won’t take it from me, take it from yn Erso: “We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope!” Don’t you have hope for your own personal rebellion?

              • I’m not quoting “at” anyone, but merely quoting the original biblical definition of faith, as it is apparently a good source. I also like that one because it is a good example of exactly what it says, …if you’re inclined to see it.

I still say hope is nonsense. Faith can be good when there is substance and evidence. Otherwise it’s just empty hope. Typically, love is just a tool used to gain trust in preparation for betrayal.

Andy Dufresne isn’t real. In the real world innocent people die in prison or suffer irrecoverable harm to their lives.

Jyn Erso is really just a pretty girl named Felicity Jones who’s good at playing make-believe. All that hope garbage is just written into the script in order to play on your emotions and get you engaged. It makes for good movies but is bullshit. In the real world, she’d probably get shot by a cop. You could even take the body cam footage and edit in lasers coming out of her toy gun or sword or whatever to kill the cop, but he’d still be alive and she’d still be dead.

Just settling in from the extended family festivities. Bonus that we got to toast the arrival of another family member, born at 8:30 tonight. Finally, my sister, the Mom of all Moms gets to be a grandma. Pretty cool.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

  29. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

    • My father in law always winds up getting technology gifts. Which means that I get the job of setting it up, teaching him, and supporting it when he breaks it.

I, on the other hand, tend to get power tools. Conspicuously, they tend to be the exact tool necessary to work on some project that needs doing in my in-law’s house. Which means that my gift turns out to be the gift of doing a home improvement project for my in-laws.

      Funny how that works.

      • Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that? My people usually work for beer or food though. I’m good with that.

The Soviets enslaved eastern Europe with arms, not an economy. The EU has just as effectively enslaved them with DEBT.

Just like the old 30’s song “16 Tons” tell St Peter I can come, I owe my soul to the company store. The EU says the same, leave anytime you wish, just pay your debt. 34. A poor American mother left California for Charlotte with two young children in tow, on foot, with little more than the clothes on their backs. After a 6 week trek across the country, while staying at a homeless shelter one day after arriving in Charlotte, one of the children is hospitalized and dies a day later. The media is outraged and demand the mother be arrested and charged with the murder of this child. The mother is arrested and charged with numerous crimes, including child endangerment of her other child, who is taken from her and put into foster care. The media follows the hearings and deem her the worst mother in America.

I think you know where I’m heading with this.

A father with child in tow is arrested for shoplifting at a high end store in San Francisco. The father is arrested and the child is taken and put into a temporary foster home until family can be found.

Anyone think that the Liberals are a little confused?

    • I’m not really sure what you’re getting at here, nor what this has to do with “liberals.”

Without knowing more about the woman and her journey, I can’t opine as to her being the worst mother in America (a title held for 35 consecutive years by my own mother). I can say that I have heard literally nothing about this story until just now, so it’s hard for me to see this as a huge liberal media outrage fest..

As for the shoplifting father, again, I would need to know more, but on the surface, it seems broadly reasonable – if arrested, then you’re in jail, then you can’t look after your kid, then he goes into foster until family can be found.. What’s wrong here?

      • Have some more coffee. You’r not awake yet.

      • You need some Red Bull!!!!!

Both stories are fiction. This is in response to the Liberal media and many Liberals and the faux outrage at the death of an 8 year old in BP custody and those who come across the border illegally.

Almost daily there are stories of idiot parents that are charged because they put their children in danger. In addition, almost daily somewhere in the US a child or children are removed from their parent(s) because said parent(s) are going to jail. Yet the Liberal media screams bloody murder when this happens at the border. They blame the BP when one of these children put in harms way by the parent when a child dies. They blame anyone except those who should be blamed.

        • Red Bull… that sounds like a very good idea.

Only, I don’t have any at the moment and my coffee clearly wasn’t sufficient.

Ok, time to snort a fat line of coke drink a 5-hour energy from the emergency stash.

          ————

Disclaimer: Mathius has never done coke. It seems too expensive and he is too cheap.

          ————

Now, as to you actual point, now that I understand it….

I think we liberals view border crossings differently than we do other crimes. Yes, certainly, we understand that it is “illegal,” but I think you inadvertently hit the nail on the head in your analogy. You said the father was arrested for shoplifting from a high end store, implying that the theft was for financial gain rather than necessitites. A better analogy might be something more along the lines of “stealing diapers from Walmart.” We’d have a LOT more sympathy for that guy.

These people are desperate, and they’re trying to survive and give their kids a better life. We liberals don’t think they should be punished for that.

SO, since we don’t think they should be punished (or punished with extreme lenience), we think that separating families is inherently cruel.

Some things Trump has said have left us with the additional impression that he was deliberately using the threat of separating parents from their kids as a deterrent and we think that is simply evil.

SOOOOOOOOOooooooo…… yea, I don’t know, let’s wait for the caffeine to kick in and we can discuss this further, time permitting.

          • Yes, we all understand how Liberal’s think. The term “bleeding heart liberal” was coined for good reason 🙂

If the left had their way on the matter, it’s estimated that an additional 700 million immigrants would come to America in short order. The problems that they are running from would quickly become the same problems here. This is actually happening in the US today. As Liberals run from California they bring the same failed ideology with them. One of my favorite videos from years ago was a California Liberal complaining about Obamacare, saying she supported the law, until she found out she was paying for it.

        • Symptoms of a world that doesn’t understand or care about the value of life.

          Who takes the brunt? Children.

          • The Dread Pirate Mathius says:

Who takes the brunt? Children. the weak.

            Fixed that for you.

            • Weak or strong, children ultimately inherit everything, good or bad, right or wrong. Humans create a world that doesn’t value life and it manifests into all these social problems.

  35. NBC broke the “news” on Christmas day with a 4:13 p.m. EST piece entitled, “Trump becomes first president since 2002 not to visit troops at Christmastime.” That article inspired a deluge of similar headlines by prominent news outlets such as The Hill, Newsweek, and Salon.com, all of whom were eager to join in pointing and scoffing at the President’s apparent break with tradition.

In a stunning example of the liberal media’s hypocrisy, they showed off their ballet skills on Wednesday when they collectively pivoted from bashing President Trump for not spending Christmas with U.S. troops to bashing him for not visiting them sooner after he made a surprise trip to Al Asad Airbase in Iraq. During their evening news broadcasts, both CBS and NBC brought up criticism of the President for taking two years to travel to a war zone to visit troops.

Comment: The Liberal media will attack Trump no matter what he does, which makes them every bit of “Fake News”, because it is clear it is not news, but clear political bias.

Comment #2: The Liberal media HATE how popular Trump is.

    • The “liberal media” doesn’t hate Trump.

      They LOVE Trump.

Trump sells papers and garners clicks.

The “liberal media” is completely agnostic to politics. They ONLY care about what sells.

To be clear, I’m talking about mainstream outlets, not rags like HuffPo.

      That said, Trump isn’t popular.

That said, I’ll thank you to take three seconds and TRY to be even remotely balanced and see if you can stretch your mind all the way back to the last President and recall whether there were any comparable examples of him getting bashed relentlessly for abject bullshit by the “conservative media”? Maybe something like implying that he refused to say Merry Christmas?

      • Better drink some Red Bull, the Liberal media has been long ago proven biased, this isn’t even debatable, the statistics are irrefutable. Is the ONE mainstream media outlet biased, yup, they are and they are not only outnumbered, but far more popular than all of the Liberal media combined.

As far as Approval rating, it’s right about where Obama was at this same point in his Presidency (but asking less than 900 people is a weak poll at best). Of course, we saw how accurate the polls were in 2016.

        • Better drink some Red Bull,

          I’m on it!

the Liberal media has been long ago proven biased, this isn’t even debatable,

And yet, here we are debating it….

          the statistics are irrefutable.

Let’s see those statistics of yours.

Is the ONE [conservative] mainstream media outlet biased, yup,

          Hey! Agreement!

they [Fox] are and they are not only outnumbered, but far more popular than all of the Liberal media combined.

I love how you take both sides of this.

Yea, sure, we have a biased outlet, but it’s only one! We’re outnumbered!
And our one is bigger than all of yours combined! So you’re outnumbered!

As far as Approval rating, it’s right about where Obama was at this same point in his Presidency

True.. marking a low for Obama and a high for Trump… just sayin’..

(but asking less than 900 people is a weak poll at best).

The most recent poll I could find was Gallup (1500 people, published 2 days ago) which gave Trump a 40% approval rating.

The point of a poll is that it is supposed to sample enough random people that they are representative of the whole and we can draw statistical inferences from the data. That’s why they have error bars. That’s why you see a whole bunch of noise above and below the lines in the above chart. But take enough samples and a trend emerges.

I know you understand this, because I know you aren’t a moron.

Of course, we saw how accurate the polls were in 2016.

You keep saying things like this, and I keep telling you how stupid it makes you sound.

I’ll try it one more time and we’ll see if it sinks in.

          I have a fair six-sided die.

If the numbers 1 through 5 come up, I win.
If the number 6 comes up, you win.

I have done my analysis of the die and predicted that 83% of the time it will land on 1-5. 17% of the time it will land on 6. I therefore predict, with 83% confidence that I will win.

          We roll the die.

It lands on a six, and you win.

Well, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles, I say.

And then, you, in your asinine way, insist that this proves my statistics wrong and that we shouldn’t trust statistic going forward and that any future predictions I make relying on statistics should be disregarded because that time you rolled a six somehow invalidated an entire branch of mathematics.

          • Just A Citizen says:

            Mathius

Polling accuracy is a different model problem than the probability of rolling numbers on a die.

Polling is not a clean purely statistical exercise.

            • No, of course not.

But like you, I know that a poll merely says what the LIKELY answer is within a given confidence interval. That the opposite happens from time to time is not merely expected, but actually demanded by statistics.

So that, when the less-likely win by Trump occurred in defiance of the odds provided by the poles, that doesn’t give Gman carte blanche to write off any and all future polls that he doesn’t like simply because “they were wrong that one time.”

              • Just A Citizen says:

                Mathius

Yes, if polls were purely a statistical estimate. well actually even if a guess, they would sometimes be wrong. BUT…………………

The polls have been pretty consistently bad the past decade or so. If they were based on purely objective statistics then each party would not have “its own polling company(s)”.

I again agree, however, that even if they were objectively and accurately done, statistically speaking you would get wrong answers from time to time. BUT……….. again………. the errors would supposedly be on both sides of the polling average. Confidence limits do after all, exist on both sides of the mean.

Now let me add this, which is actually supporting you a bit. I think much of the supposed error in polling of late is more that results are being spread around and reported widely, and thus accepted/rejected by those with bias, to far in advance of the final election event.

I also think that people are messing with their answers to pollsters far more than in the good ol’ days.

      • Just A Citizen says:

        Mathius

The “Liberal Media” absolutely hate Trump. The evidence is plain to see. It is the Editors and managers/owners who love the fight. But those who comprise the core of the media, and who have been shown over and over to be on the left/liberal side, hate the President.

You only debate the liberal media bias because like so many other things posted here over the years. you ignore those that upset your own bias.

        • They love him.

          He makes them relevant.

He sells their papers and magazines and brings eyeballs to their blogs.

If the (large) outlets could get more clicks by praising him, they would flip so fast your head would spin.

Give the people what they want!

          • How does bad ratings sell? CNN’s ratings have tanked the last two plus years and trust in the media (which is majority liberal) is in the gutter. You should get better sources, cuz yours have you speaking foolishness.

  36. Suppose Obama had issued the following statement during his Presidency: “I am truly thrilled to wish every American a joyous Ramadan.”

    What would be your thoughts?

    • First, I would not be offended. Same with wishing a joyous Hanukkah. I don’t have issues with other faiths holidays.

Second, the conspiracy world would have a stroke calling him a closet Muslim. 😀

      • 1. I don’t believe you. I think you would be apoplectic at the “every.” Why should he wish “every” American a joyous Ramadan knowing full well that they don’t all celebrate it?

        2. Correct, but how would that be different than every other day? (see also his secret Muslim ring, etc)

        • 1. Now your playing semantics, if he said all, I still wouldn’t be offended, but Obama would be called, well, not too bright at the time.

          2. The conspiracy world will always be there, can’t help them.

          • I’m not suggesting that you would/should be offended.

What I’m saying is that you might get mad at Obama for deliberately and explicitly implying every American – you, personally, included – should be observing a Muslim holiday.

            • Mad…NO. I would be shaking my head wondering how that moron got elected (which I still do today). Besides, I don’t think Muslim’s would welcome non-Muslim’s in their joyous celebrations, it’s just not what they do.

              • I would be shaking my head wondering how that moron got elected

                Fine.

Ok, so when Trump just wished every American a merry Christmas, are you shaking your head and wondering how that moron got elected?

(side note: I don’t think “merry” should be capitalized, but it just looks weird to have it lower case next to Christmas… is it supposed to be capitalized together like some sort of proper noun phrase?)

              • No, there is a big difference between Ramadan and Christmas. While both are religious holidays, only Christmas is a National Holiday (a legal one at that). Forget about the religious side of it, because Trump would be technically correct as the National Holiday is for the whole nation, including Muslim’s and Jews. Christians welcome all people to celebrate along with them, which kinda makes them far more inclusive than Muslim’s. I’m not sure about the Jewish holidays where inclusion is concerned.

              • Forget about the religious side of it

No, I don’t think I will, thank you very much.

because Trump would be technically correct as the National Holiday is for the whole nation

Though, of course, it shouldn’t be.

I’m not sure about the Jewish holidays where inclusion is concerned.

We’re clannish and exclusionary. One of the many reasons everyone hates us.

That said, you’re always welcome to my house for latkes.

              • it shouldn’t be.

But it is, which makes your argument moot.

That said, you’re always welcome to my house for latkes.

Thank You! Although travel now is most unlikely due to parents health issues. But if you get to travelling to NW Pa, you and yours are welcome here too. Plenty of country cooking and cold beer 😉 Not to mention peace and quiet.

          • I think it was Obama’s habit of telling us all how great Islam is, while attacking Christianity that created a problem. Couldn’t care less about him acknowledging Ramadan, would even go so far as saying he should.

  37. Fun with statistics:

    1. One hundred billion people are lined up and numbered. You, are given a number, but you do not know what it is. Without any further information, would you imagine that you are (A) in the first 5%, in the middle 90%, or the last 5%?

    • Imagine —- definitely the last 5%. Feelings would rule, not odds.

      • Well this is a statistics game, so you’d be right 5% of the time.

We can say with 90% probability, that you are in the middle 90%.

Put another way, you should guess that you’re in the middle because that’s the most likely answer.

So, without knowing your place in line, you should assume that you’re in the middle 90% of the back.

        With me so far?

(note: this has nothing at all to do with politics – it’s just a thought experiment)

  38. Canine Weapon says:

  40. The attorney general’s comments come a day after liberal Silicon Valley billionaire Reid Hoffman issued an apology for funding the group behind the efforts.
Democratic operatives are said to have created thousands of fake Russian accounts on Twitter and began following Moore, prompting attention from local and national media that falsely suggested Russia is backing Moore’s candidacy.
The project also involved creating a Facebook page and imitated conservative Alabamians who weren’t satisfied with the Republican candidate while encouraging others to write in another candidate.

Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, is one of Silicon Valley’s top donors to the Democratic campaigns and PACs. In the last election cycle he donated $7 million to Democratic groups, though his money also pours into non-traditional groups that aren’t mandated to report their funding and often operate in the shadows.

Comment….I’m guessing that this is OK to the Left, but don’t it require a Special Council to investigate collusion (or maybe the whole investigation is a false flag Crat event)

  41. ROFL!

    • I can’t find anything funny about this tragedy. That you do, shocks me.

      • That’s because you see it as tragic because you value systematic violence.

Pigs violate people and wreck lives. So it’s not like they have any real value. So I don’t see it as tragic.

And when they’re just doing their violent evil job, they’re not human, but a machine, an officer of the law. …until, of course, one of them gets ambushed and shot up on a freeway. Then they suddenly become sensitive humans who deserve so much sympathy?

Sorry, but I’m not feeling sad about it. I think it’s funny as hell watching them get theirs.

      • I think it’s absolutely wonderful that this man cares so much about his friend and employee. And death is always tragic.

As for POS, well, he’s a P.O.S. when it comes to things like this. He views police as the enforcement arm of his oppressors, so any dead cop is a good cop. If you want to put yourself in his frame of mind, imagine yourself living in Nazi Germany and seeing Herman Goering giving a press conference lamenting the death of a concentration camp guard – that’s the fantasy world he’s living in: “This is an evil man lamenting the death of an evil man who was killed in the course of evil deeds,” and POS finds it humorous that the evil “man’s evil boss” is sad about this. To POS, the world just got a bit better now that there’s one fewer evil oppressor out there, so in his view, we should be celebrating.

Someone lost a husband and father and friend.. I don’t know anything else about the guy, but people dying is NEVER a good thing. POS has lost all sight of his humanity.

        • ” POS has lost all sight of his humanity.”

No, I found it, thus am able to discern the difference, and therefore find it vindicating. I see cops for what exactly what they are; They’re thugs in funny clothes who violate people for a living.

You see them as super human, greater than the rest of us, with a right to violate. You think magic special words and bullshit on paper makes them gods. You’re the one obviously living in a fantasy world.

Maybe you should seek professional help for your delusions?

          • No, I found it, thus am able to discern the difference, and therefore find it vindicating.

Let me see if I can help you here: People dying is bad.

Go write that on the chalkboard 50 times.

Even bad people dying is bad.

You see them as super human, greater than the rest of us

            Absolutely false.

In fact, it is a constant source of annoyance to me, this hero-worshiping idolatry of the police and military.

That said, police have been imbued with authority by the general consensus of society to enforce the laws of that society.

Now, as everyone here will agree, they do an… imperfect job.

But, so far as I know, you are the only one who begrudges their necessity.

They serve an ugly and messy, but ultimately vital role maintaining a stable and secure society.

Maybe you should seek professional help for your delusions?

I’ll make you a deal: I will if you will.

I bet they could give me all kinds of happy pills I’d enjoy…

            • “Let me see if I can help you here: People dying is bad. .. ..Even bad people dying is bad.”

Cops aren’t people. They’re an instrument of law. That’s what their uniform and medallions are all about. It says “I am not an individual. I am one component of a machine.”

“You see them as super human, greater than the rest of us – Absolutely false. In fact, it is a constant source of annoyance to me, this hero-worshiping idolatry of the police and military.”

              You are a hypocrite.

“That said, police have been imbued with authority by the general consensus of society to enforce the laws of that society.”

Exactly. ..like I said; “thugs in funny clothes who violate people for a living.”

“Now, as everyone here will agree, they do an… imperfect job.”

They do a great job. It’s their job that isn’t so great.

” But, so far as I know, you are the only one who begrudges their necessity. They serve an ugly and messy, but ultimately vital role maintaining a stable and secure society.”

How is violence and slavery necessary? It isn’t. And I am not the only one who begrudges their uselessness, I assure you of that.

We are told that police are to serve society as an extension of the right to defense, to protect the weak and vulnerable, to provide a safe secure environment for civilization. And a lot of people fall for it. But it’s complete bullshit. It’s just thugs in funny clothes bossing people around with weapons and wrecking lives.

              • Cops aren’t people. They’re an instrument of law. That’s what their uniform and medallions are all about. It says “I am not an individual. I am one component of a machine.”

                They are BOTH.

But whereas the “component of a machine” can be readily replaced and the overall machine left unharmed, some woman lost her husband, a living breathing human being who loved her. Children lost their father. People lost their friends. Siblings lost a brother. Parents lost a son.

This is not theoretical. This didn’t “not happen” just because he was also a police officer.

I’ll deal with the rest of your rantings if/when time permits.

              • Bullshit.

You can’t have it both ways (not without a gun and a brainwashed public anyway). If you are a human, then your rights and status are equal to all humans. You don’t get to violate people for a living and then claim it as part of being human. You don’t get to claim super human status to get your way, then claim mortal human when you need sympathy and support.

              • Cops are very useful for getting rapists and killers off the streets, not to mention how many dead thieves they have saved. I for one am thankful for the savings in ammunition that I would otherwise have to use hunting these sick twisted criminals down. They take the bullets that regular people who have been violated would possibly have to deal with, saving even more lives. Because of them, I have an ample supply of ammunition to deal with any alien invasion that may occur, because it seems as though they may already be here, just waiting, while trying to disarm everyone.

              • Gman,

If that’s all that cops did, I would love them as much as the copsuckers. But that is only a small part of their job. The rest of it is to violate people by order of law, and usually for no good reason.

You justify having them around for the reasons you state, but they are the ones protecting you by yanking you from your car and beating you to death, slamming old people to the ground or into concrete and steel, breaking their delicate bones, abusing children, extorting money, abducting people, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc….

They’re evil thugs and I hate them.

  42. It really bugs me when the chumps who fled the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, Venezuela or North Korea think they know more about Socialism than a 28 year old, 10th year undergrad in Gender Studies from New York with a verified Twitter account.

    😀

    • My buddy grew up in Mother Russia in the ’80’s.

Someone stole and (presumably) ate his dog.

They don’t teach that in Gender Studies.

      • Venezuela will be pet free in a short period of time. Not sure what will be gone first, the pets or the pet food.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

Pets were banned in China during Mao’s tenure. They were a source of food for the people that the government couldn’t control. Keeping people on the edge of starvation keeps them weak an unable to mount an effective counter revolution.

Some family members grew up in the SovBloc. They can described still as opportunistic eaters.

        • Apparently, no one has been in Vietnam, Cambodia, area……dogs are a delicacy…..they were in the 70’s and they still are in 2018.

Beaumont, Texas…..had a real problem with the Vietnamese shrimpers. First, they did not understand why there were shrimping seasons. The Vietnamese did not understand that preserving the seasons, preserves the food supply, that preserves the season….and so on.

But, over looked in the process was the amount of dogs that disappeared in the Beaumont area…..and then shimp boats got burned, armed conflicts began to happen……and this was all a difference in culture…..dogs get eaten.

  43. It’s all about money. I heard this a.m. that about 800,000 government employees are on furlough. If each makes $25/hr x 8 hrs that’s $200/d. Total salary loss for one day is $160M. For 10 days (2 weeks) that is $1.6B. Now the salaries will be paid so no worker loses but government work does not get done. So we are paying for nothing. The Dems have already agreed to $1.6B for border security so the the argument is over $3.4B. That is 21.25 days of which we have already consumed 7. So if this shutdown goes another 14 days, then we will have lost more than the argument is over for absolutely no gain. What a waste.

  44. https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-fondacaro/2018/12/27/cbs-promotes-tweets-furloughed-dems-angry-trump

Dear Furloughed government workers, working with no pay or sitting at home,

Consider this moment a “out of cubicle” moment. Non-government workers frequently deal with layoffs, some temporary, like yours, others permanent. Pretty all of these people would apply for unemployment insurance payments after the first full week. This helps keep things going until they are back to work.

If you are reimbursed for your lost time by the government, you can then pay back what you received. It is a safety net for these problems, utilize it until Trump gets the money he wants to fix our porous border that Reagan should have gotten in the 80″s. In the meantime, write your Senators and tell them to get to work, do their f-ing jobs and quit prioritizing the open, porous border over the partially closed government, of which you are directly affected.

Or you can also support the Crat’s open border policy and experience a much bigger problem when wages get too low to support your high paychecks. We are almost there as it is, you may as well cut your nose off to spite your face. Despite the recent rise in wages and jobs available, you obviously want something different, or more unemployment and lower wages. So, go ahead and self destruct, the illegal immigrants really don’t give a crap about you anyway and they will never likely get to vote.

    Sincerely,

The people who have their own problems that are far worse than yours.

  45. ” Maybe you should seek professional help for your delusions? – I’ll make you a deal: I will if you will.”

I offered to share some things with you, to show you in a way that you can clearly see for yourself, but you refuse and dismiss it as many others do. Therefore you are not really in the position to suggest that I need professional help.

Everyone really needs to quit fuking around, if it’s not already too late.

  46. *test*

  47. Will someone PLEASE nuke the middle east and northern half of Africa into oblivion. Leave absolutely nothing alive, just a big black charred wasteland.

If you don’t have the balls to push the button, I will gladly do it. I just need access to the button.

    https://www.livegore.com/2965/full-version-of-danish-woman-murdered-in-morocco

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Proving yet, once again, Robert Heinlein’s contention that people ARE NOT the same all over!

      • People are people are people. We all have the same basic wants and needs. Our rights are equal and universal. We are all individuals with free will and choice. I think the difference is in how we negotiate life.

Regardless of cultural values, we all have a basic sense of right and wrong. I believe that is what separates us from other animals. We’re intelligent enough to comprehend the concept of ethics, and are therefore enabled to build civilization. It is kind of like a gift from god.

While I know there are a lot of good Muslims in the world, I also see that, in a general sense, they’re not getting it and aren’t going to.

Consider the long term history of Islam, and as it compares to other cultures and religions. There’s been a lot of going back and forth with wars and persecution. Consider the modern era, particularly the last century, and all the injustices that Muslims have had to endure. Look at how the first world nations and MIC have exploited and abused the Muslim world.

Consider the last decade and how there has been a genuine good will concerted effort to make peace with Islam by so many. Europe has reached out in peace and has bent over backwards to accommodate Muslims, refugees from war torn countries and the oppressed, …trying to make a genuine gesture of good will, playing the role of the good Samaritan. Too bad more didn’t follow Europe’s lead, because it needed to be tested before making judgement.

And how has Islam responded to all of this? …with countless acts of hate and senseless violence like the one in the above video. They aren’t going to get it and need to be wholly exterminated, the sooner the better.

I recommend starting with Mecca during the pilgrimage because of the concentration of people, and so they’re all terrorized and get to see it coming.

        • You should actually visit some foreign lands so you can see how totally wrong you actually are. Cultures don’t think like you think they do. Rights are NOT universal and certainly not the same in all cultures. It’s strange how you want to do to Muslim’s exactly what many of them want to do to us. They are in fact very much like you and the ideologies are quite the same, do as I want or die.

          • I have been all over the world, including the Muslim world. I do not take a position of ignorance that you suggest.

Right ARE universal, whether recognized or not, they ARE equal and universal to all humans. They are NATURAL AND INALIENABLE, not subject to the whims and opinions of this or that belief or culture.

” It’s strange how you want to do to Muslim’s exactly what many of them want to do to us.”

Maybe it’s about what is appropriate and fitting?

“They are in fact very much like you and the ideologies are quite the same, do as I want or die.”

No, this is not about controlling anyone. It is about a permanent solution.

I only wish everyone gave Islam the same chance that people like Merkel did. Everyone criticized her for being so welcoming to them. But people like her have helped with discernment and assurance.

            • Utter nonsense. Rights are a human construct that are dictated by the differing cultures.

Merkel is advocating one world government, of which freedom and rights will be further eroded. Her and Macron in France are two Socialist peas in a pod. She has caused her country great pain because those Muslim’s you want to kill are not assimilating, they are raping and destroying.

For someone who has been all over the world, you sure didn’t learn anything.

              • You are speaking of something else. But it’s not rights. Rights are natural universal and inalienable to all humans. But you know this, and I’m not playing this game with you, Gman.

I agree that one world government is not the answer. Government always fux it up, exacerbates and compounds everything. I am an anarchist/libertarian, remember? That is why I advocate for eventual global libertarianism. It’s not going to happen (at least not for quite a while) because people are idiots, but it is nonetheless the solution.

“Her and Macron in France are two Socialist peas in a pod.”

And…? …so let them and their people be socialists and have an eventual failed state. It’s not like you can convince them otherwise.

“She has caused her country great pain because those Muslim’s you want to kill are not assimilating, they are raping and destroying.”

Exactly. They were given a chance to make peace, by Germans of all people, and they used it to violate people. School girls getting gang raped or beheaded, or whatever sick shit they’re doing, is a clear demonstration that peace is unachievable, essentially confirms the necessity of extreme force.

              • G, POS seems to be saying that you are right, but we should open our borders and let everyone in anyway. Then when they don’t assimilate, we can say we tried, it didn’t work so now we can use the permanent solution. 😠

              • Rights are natural universal and inalienable to all humans.

a clear demonstration that peace is unachievable, essentially confirms the necessity of extreme force.

100% proof that those Rights you claim to be inalienable can also be taken away by a whim of people who think their ideology is better than those they wish to destroy. Which means all Rights are, in fact, alienable, because they can be taken away. Humans give and humans take away. This is why Anarchy will never work in the real world.

              • ” G, POS seems to be saying that you are right, but we should open our borders and let everyone in anyway. Then when they don’t assimilate, we can say we tried, it didn’t work so now we can use the permanent solution. ”

Basically, yes. It is a matter of ethics, discernment of what is necessary.

Quit messing with the dog and giving it a reason to bite. Show it love and kindness. If it bites anyway, show it more and more kindness. If it insists, put it down. But until all other measures are exhausted, you cannot say that it was necessary to kill it.

It is difficult to do as such when others insist on antagonizing the dog.

  48. I have a very deep seeded intense hatred for Christians that I used to not have. It stems from a number of things, but mostly what they have done to me and my life. I am going to explain it.

Since I was born, arguably since 40 years prior, and although I didn’t start catching on until I was a young man, there has been a network of Christians knowingly and willingly following me around and playing all sorts of bizarre twisted sick evil games with my life.

Because they refuse consultation or confrontation, because they refuse resolution of any kind, because they will not even acknowledge anything about it, because they are insistent and persistent to the point of wasting what was supposed to be the best years of my life, because they may very well have prevented me from my rightful place, I have suffered. At the very least, my pursuit of happiness and legacy has been negated, nullified, stolen/destroyed.

How is a man supposed to better himself and acquire the stability necessary to properly care for and support a family when he can’t do anything without being stalked and harassed? What sense does it make to defeat the purpose of a stable secure legacy by bringing children into the world and subjecting them to an environment of evil sick stalker weirdos?

It is too late for recovery, too late for reconciliation, too late for restitution or resolution, primarily because they have refused resolution. In other words, they didn’t fess up and take responsibility and help rectify this BS before I was too old to start a family of my own.

This is a summary explanation of one reason why I generally hate them.

  49. More stupidity from CNN, claiming that soldiers getting hats signed by Trump may violate some rule. Where was that rule when this happened:

  50. Does Texas have it right? You be the judge……”Tired of all the porch thieves (those who steal packages from front porch’s), the Texas Police chiefs and sheriffs are saying to remember that the State Castle Law extends to your whole propertry, including cars, boats, and planes no matter what part of Texas they are in……so, gun ’em down. If they steal a package from your porch it is the same as stealing from inside your home.

The Governor, Greg Abbott……protect your property, fellow Texans.

The Texas Legislature is introducing two bills which support the Castle Doctrine to include porch thieves and to include stealing from the porch, the same as burglary of a habitat which carries a minimum 20 year sentence.

Most Texans think that it is better to save the tax dollars of prosecution…..gun ’em down.

    But……you be the judge.

  51. I have been forced into terms and conditions that I do not want or understand or care about for years, conditions that are having a very adverse effect on me and my life. There is no ignoring it.

So even though I was so disoriented and my head was frying out, I was still pursuing it and finding good leads and all sorts of weird evidences. – “It has something to do with those people, this that and the other things, etc…”

Upon investigating, I notice that one of them has the same vehicle as one that has been following me around. But there are a lot of them on the road. It needs to be confirmed as them/theirs. I needed to go where I could intercept them and perform a visual confirmation. I also detected a mole and certain social connections in regard to others. So here is what I did.

I fed the suspected mole a bunch of BS, something to get them all stirred up, therefore exposing themselves. I made them think I was going to act, do something crazy and mean, which applies pressure to the situation, enough to get a response out of them.

Then I did a probe mission and visual confirmation of the vehicle. All I did was make a showing as to observe. I even took extra measures to ensure I could harm no one. I was basically doing a recon/probe mission, while using myself and a bunch of nonsense as bait.

Not only did I manage to confirm the vehicle status, but also exposed the mole and additional key players. I had to sacrifice some integrity and rub some people wrong(they deserve it), but it worked beautifully.

    BUSTED!

  52. Deleting things again? – control freak group thinkers.

  53. For years, I have been slowly but surely mapping out their networks, all with the ultimate goal of identifying the core group, whoever was sending these people and managing it in secret.

I could see groups A B C and D , etc., but not what is connecting them together. I could see what they were capable of and things about them, but not exactly who they are.

I knew that, whoever they are, between them they would connect all of these groups together and fit this and that criteria very closely or exactly. That’s how I would know I have identified the core group behind the scenes.

Well, I did. Everything checks out thus far, even better than anticipated. I am in the process of confirming it as to be absolutely sure.
