Whoops!

AS usual, the Liberal media and the Crats made fools of themselves.  The Pro Gun Rally was peaceful, like previous ones, and they even cleaned up after themselves, unlike Liberals who leave a pathetic mess.  Now, it’s time for the joke called Impeachment, which is what the Crats have officially made it.  Sad time for the Constitution.

  1. Since there was no violence what so ever at the gun rights rally in Richmond, Virginia on Monday, CBS Evening News apparently decided to make-up some fake news and claim there was. As fill-in anchor Maurice DuBois began discussing the event, he falsely claimed there was “more than a week” of “violence” leading up to the rally. But back in reality, there wasn’t
    https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-fondacaro/2020/01/20/cbs-claims-week-violence-occurred-virginia-gun-rally

Even though the gun rights rally in Richmond, Virginia on Monday saw absolutely zero violent incidents, both ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News saw fit to taint their reports on the event with images from the Charlottesville, Virginia violence where white nationalists and left-wing protesters clashed.

  2. RICHMOND, VA—As Governor Ralph Northam has begun to dismantle Virginia in a systematic fashion, many Virginians began to grow concerned that he was just going to destroy the entire state.

But Northam has assured Virginians that the state will be kept comfortable while discussions ensue over exactly how they’re going to accomplish the complete destruction of the once-great state.
“The state will be kept comfortable,” he said in an address, “and the state will be resuscitated if that’s what we desire. And then a discussion will ensue between us politicians over what course of action to pursue. It’s really the most compassionate way to handle this kind of thing.”
“It’s the government’s constitutional right to choose.”
Northam reminded everyone that Virginia is his state, his choice, and that it’s not a state full of American citizens with God-given rights unless he declares it to be so.
He was frightened, however, to learn that Virginians own guns and can defend themselves if threatened by callous governments, unlike unborn babies.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

The western portion of Virginia and not the districts within commuting distance of DC should secede and merge with West Virginia.. it happened before. 160 years ago.

The breast works and rifle pits still exist along the ridge lines.

  3. Dale A Albrecht says:

Listening to Schumer from the other day. What a hack. This is all about targeting 4 weak senators up for reelection.

The Demicrats wrap themselves up in the Constitution yet also have no use for it and shred it.

  4. I keep wondering if Trump being re-elected will make the media realize they need to stop their biased craziness. Will self preservation, if nothing else cause them to rethink their decision to be political assets instead of journalists.

And This BS — “Despite just admitting the rally was peaceful, Pegues concluded by spreading the smears from anti-gun groups: “Gun control advocates had called for a counter-protest out here today, but in the end, that was called off out of concerns that it could have led to confrontations.”” ——Turned my stomach.

  5. https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-va-sheriff-we-will-not-enforce-unconstitutional-gun-control-laws

Opinions- as much as I agree with the Sheriff, does he really have the right to just ignore the laws as written? Resign in protest but this seems like a step to far.

    • This defiance of authority started with the sanctuary acts imposed by some states and municipalities. Once one side starts defying laws, then it becomes difficult to enforce others.

I think we are entering a per-revolutionary period similar to the early 1770’s. The intolerable acts were hated by the colonists who ultimately refused to obey them. The defiance was led by many local civil leaders such as these sheriffs. Ultimately this led to the British effort to confiscate guns and powder stores throughout the colonies. Thus the shot heard round the world.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

I am not sure about this, Last night one of the sheriffs talked about the oath he took…To preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. At the same time I am reminded of the oath you take in the armed forces to obey all “lawful orders”. I think, perhaps, we have gotten too far from where this country was founded where words meant what they said and common sense prevailed. Perhaps these LEO’s are correct and these issues should be hashed out in the courts.

The Nuremberg trials for once and for all proved that “following orders” is NOT an excuse for malfeasance. .

      • Maybe we are heading for a revolution, the exception to the rule. I hope not, but hearing this guy makes it seem more likely. Damned, if he didn’t learn it in college!

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

👍….people forget that from those trials. The judges defense was we were following the law. The prosecution said that is not a valid defense. Defying the law then and there would have resulted them being first in line to the execution chambers. Here there is no threat if life much less prosecution for defying a federal laws such as illegal immigration and sanctuary cities. Virginia has sanctuary cities yet claim it’s illegal for cities and towns to be gun sanctuary cities…

Once they start confiscating guns without due process it will be a match like Harpers Ferry.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Somebody “ought” to research and write an article about long gun control and long gun elimination in New York City. It was classic incrementalism. First we register then gradually we tighten what you can own and use the registrations to actually confiscate the weapons, First semi- autos, the anything having more than a five round mag including your classic Winchester ’73 worth thousands of dollars. From a three dollar one time fee for a permit to a $ 250 fee followed by an annual $ 100 renewal. An affidavit from any adult you are living with that it is oK with them for you to have a rifle or shotgun. The NRA is totally asleep on this one and always has been.

  6. Just A Citizen says:

Today I am laying a lot of the blame for the fiasco surrounding the Trump administration at the media’s door step. Think back.

Part of the impeachment fiasco is because Mr. Trump was following information regarding possible corruption in Ukraine vis a vie the 2016 election. This information has been floating around in alternative media since before that election. Yet the MSM ignored all of it. Instead posting claims of “hoax” by the D.C. Insider crowd. As some of the stuff published by the alternative media came to be true, how could it still be ignored? It shouldn’t have been. But the MSM continued to not only ignore it but ridicule it.

So Mr. Trump grabs onto some of this stuff, actually quite a bit of it, and the next thing you know he is accused of abusing his power and trying to undermine an election by asking Ukraine to look into those allegations which had been reported widely for three years.

If the media had done its job instead of jumping on the hate Trump bandwagon, some of these allegations would have been fully vetted in the public arena, like they should have been from day one.

Footnote: If the Church Committee had done as shallow an investigation as the media and Democrats have done on all the allegations surrounding Clinton, Obama and the 2016 elections they would have never discovered the illegal activities of the CIA.

  7. Will they ever put Trump’s face on a stamp?

  8. AS expected, the MSM is in the tank for the Crats:

    https://www.newsbusters.org/

  9. U.S.—Horror has spread throughout the nation as the unthinkable has happened: A new, even deadlier successor to the AR-15 — the AR-16 — is now for sale. The gun is a lot like the destructive AR-15 but is even scarier, as it is wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat.

The AR-15 was the deadliest gun ever made, able to fire over 100 rounds a day. The “AR” in it stands for “AR-15 Rifle” and the 15 stands for “50% more than 10.” The new AR-16 is obviously even more destructive, though. “Guns are scary enough,” said being-scared-by-guns expert Noah Carlson, “but knowing a gun is a supporter of Donald Trump makes it even more terrifying. What’s it planning to do? Obviously nothing good.”
Carlson warned that the gun was probably racist and sexist and that he wouldn’t be surprised if it was also rude to women. There is now a campaign to have the gun banned, signed onto by all the major Democratic presidential candidates. Many gun rights supporters have called this hypocrisy, though, as recently the LGBTQ-15 also went on sale — an AR-15 with a rainbow scarf — and the left praised that gun and called it “appropriate for children.”

  10. Dale A Albrecht says:

Question…the Democrats want to get 4 people heretofore not questioned by the house impeachment committees because the probably are people usually exempt from being supeonaed because executive privilege would get invoked. When one person was supeonaed and went to court the house withdrew the supeona and said never mind. Would these 4 people now be forbidden to fight any supeona now, just because they’re called? If the R caved with no quid pro quo, like the whistleblower. Fundamental face your accuser. Shiff and company said they have OVERWHELMING evidence. Why do they need more. The house said it’s to important to wait through court process. Why is the court process not still in play. Are their rights suspended?

All about intimudation and the 2020 election.

    • Any witnesses need to be voted on by a majority of the Senate. Technically, the House is there to present their case for impeachment and the Senate is to determine guilty or not guilty. The investigation is OVER. There is no requirement to hear any witnesses at this point.

  11. Dale A Albrecht says:

So two of the people the D’s want to call as additional witnesses 1) they dropped the supeona when challenged by the court 2) never ever was supeonaed by the house.

Yet they say us the Senate doesn’t allow then now it’s a coverup
I thought the house had a overwhelming case as it was.

I liked trump’s attorney yesterday reading a quote from Nadler about impeachment. Being how an impeachment by one partisan party would lead to years of divisiveness.

    • The Crats are lying assholes…and that’s being very, very nice (because of our SUFA ladies 😀 )

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

Catching up on articles. It appears the Senate has rejected Schumers amendments along party lines. I guess Schumers and the House political threats did not work.

Pretty much bring us what you have as evidence used in the impeachment inquiries and we’ll admit it into evidence. I’ll bet they’ll scrutinize it to insure Schiff and Nadler do nor slip in additional material

        • Just A Citizen says:

Mark my words…………..the SQUISHY Republicans will call for new witnesses and more documents once the initial arguments and presentations are completed. They won’t be able to help themselves. They are week kneed twits……………

The funny thing is nobody has considered the possibility, from the D. side, that Bolten will dump on Trump over strategy and tactics and then confess he had no personal knowledge of trading money for political dirt on his opponent.

It will all come down to Trump’s administration does not do business like all those before it. And that really, really, really upsets the ELITISTS.

          • Dale A Albrecht says:

I hope your wrong. If so they had their chance last night to vote all of the D’s House demands and threats.

But those squishy kneed politicians can never being consistent. Collins was inconsistent by voting as she did. She’s more a D than an R as is Romney..

Maybe the RNC promised them that they’d not financially support them and run alternative candidates.

            • Dale A Albrecht says:

Even as firebrand as Graham is today it wasn’t all that long ago that he was a never trumper

          • Dale A Albrecht says:

If the rules were voted on including the rejection of Schumers “demands” for additional witnesses and evidence not in the impeachment charges.

How can the weak sisters want a change later after hearing Schiffs and nadlers free shots of 48 hours.

  12. Now this is odd.

    • By itsself, it doesn’t seem like a big deal. Added to all the other revelations about this guy, it adds up to a lot.

  13. https://www.westernjournal.com/china-quarantines-entire-city-deaths-mystery-virus-almost-double-24-hours/

I have always believed that nature will keep the earth’s population in check. Maybe this is the one that has been overdue.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

The premiste of George Stewart’s, 1948 work, “Earth Abides” a good read done by an actual scientist. Reviews below! Well worth the read.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

There is an old Cherokee story about the natives and denizens of the forest debating on how to stop the advance of the white man. The bear said I’m the biggest and meanest I’ll take care if them. The littlest attendee the mosquito said I’ll take care of them.

Obviously the natives had no knowledge of microbes viruses etc. They just knew that that little bug carried diseases like malaria and yellow fever etc. Fleas carry the plague.

Here in New Bern they’ve come across numerous mass graves of plague victims from colonial times. Even in the parking lot of our hospital when they were renovating came across hundreds of bodies buried. Thankfully they weren’t recent victims of the hospitals malpractice. But they were tubercular victims. From what back when the site was a sanitarium for people with the disease

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Regardless of disease, I like Malthus. Over populate, outstrip the food and resources and the society collapses. Could be in the animal kingdom as well not just humans.

The Kiabab deer is a case study. To this phenomenon. The tourist didnt like wolves, coyotes and mountain lions having lunch on those poor deer upsetting our gentle stomachs. The predators were exterminated. The deer overpopulated, ate all their resources, starved and then there was none. No predators, no deer and no flora. It took a long time after the whoops for the region to recover. Humans unfortunately can manipulate their environment and mice and mive goods to delay the inevidable. But nature can be stretched just so far.

I’ve always contented. Ensure clean water and safe foods….but either let pandemics run rampant occasionally. Puck a number every other one every third one. Ban war and the only thing left to keep man reasonably in check was disease.

Nature had huge unexplained die offs periodically of species.. shit hapoens

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Good idea in my mind. Save a lot of time and money. Then candidates have to tailor their message for all. Not vary it depending on their audience.

Besides all these Senators and current sitting politicians can get back on the job they were elected to do in the first place. These ass hats have been running for years.

We did not elect their staffers to make policy decisions.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Of course they do! And allowing everyone to register that morning.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

        Registering that day…not a chance.

      • On years like this, where there is no Republican Primary, this would be fun. Go to the polls on this day, register Democrat and totally screw up the Crat Primary. What a way to have some fun 😛

        • I have not voted in a Republican primary in years. I always vote in the Democratic primary for whom I consider the best Dem of the lot. This year, I will be voting for Biden in the primary but will vote Republican in the election. What a choice. ……ugh.

But my vote for Trump is on economic reasons.

  14. Just A Citizen says:

Want to know why the Dems are playing the hand they are in the trial? Want to see the evidence supporting the claim this is all political? Well here is some strong evidence. They now these numbers as well as anyone. And they intend to manipulate it to their advantage this coming fall.
    http://news.trust.org/item/20200122223845-ozj6d

The good news in this, for me, is that so many Americans of both sides are about the same on the question of allowing witnesses “who have first hand knowledge regarding the allegations.” Which of course is not what the witness whining is about, but so be it.

The down side is how Schumer and the media have obviously tainted how these same people view Senator McConnell.

  15. Since the fake impeachment trial is boring as hell, here’s a subject that is worthy of some thought:

China’s battle with the deadly Wuhan virus is getting serious, with six cities now on lockdown in a bid to halt the viral disease. While the communist government tries to maintain control, reports of people simply collapsing from the disease are now circulating online.
Along with a previous quarantine of Wuhan, the assumed origin of the novel coronavirus, five more cities in Hubei province have shuttered transportation hubs and other services, according to the BBC.
The virus has already claimed multiple lives and grabbed footholds on multiple continents and is now behind what is likely the largest quarantine in human history.

  16. Dale A Albrecht says:

  17. Dale A Albrecht says:

As good as Guiliani may have been decades ago. He has NOT served Trump well these past couple years. Especially with his associates. Which have thrown gasoline onto the fire.

Though it seems its OK to accept hundreds of millions of foreign money into a foundation run by former Senator, SOS and presidential candidate. Which dried up when she lost.

Trump has yet to learn, he has no friends he can trust except his family. Guts like Guiluani uf they became intimately associated with Trumo should have immediately done a search and severe ant ties with anyone with current or past ties to Ukraine or Russia. Regardless of any knowledge of wrongdoing.

  18. WASHINGTON, D.C.—In his opening statement at Trump’s impeachment trial, Rep. Adam Schiff reminded the Senate of their solemn duty and the gravity of just what it is they will be discussing at the trial.

Schiff warned that if Trump is not impeached, the American people may have a chance to tamper with the next election.
“If President Trump is not impeached, the American people might get a say in who is president,” Schiff said gravely. “We simply can’t allow that to happen. We must diligently defend our electoral process against electoral outcomes we do not like. If that means seizing power through a sham impeachment trial, so be it.”
“When the Founders wrote that founding document thing, they never imagined there would be electoral outcomes that Democrats did not agree with.”
Democrats also said they even have hard evidence that the 2016 election was compromised by Republicans voting for Trump.
“We know this horrible outcome could happen, because it’s already happened once before.”

  19. Dale A Albrecht says:

As anyone might surmise I di not like lawyers. I’ve only ever met one my entire life i ever trusted.

Interesting article on Christopher Wray and his tangled associations. Its such an incestuous relationship between all the players at the top of the dung heap we call our Justice Dept.

It’s long and well worth the read. Especially the parts of the secret sealed deals of the EDNY and Credit Suisse.

    https://www.the-american-interest.com/2017/07/28/no-wray/

    • Dale….unfortunately, lawyers are a necessary evil.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

Unfortunately they’re the enablers of all the corruption that surrounds us.

The first lawyer i ever knew was SO corrupt. He went to law school with either Halderman or Erlichman of Nixon staff fame. Even his son divorced him as a father.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Now, didja ever notice when an “Oirishman” pronounces the word “lawyer” in a thick brogue, it always comes out “liar”.

That is probably why they use teh term “barrister”.

  20. Look for Rudy Giuliani’s Common Sense video podcast. Rudy was on Fox & Friends this am and announced he is going to start making public his findings on both US and Ukrainian corruption. I need to buy some popcorn.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

If he does it, do so OUTSIDE I’d the impeachment trial.

The lawyers that are defending Trump have resist the possible temptation of asking the Senate to vote to include defense witnesses and keep Guiliani so far away. Else he can be a “Hand Grenade ” as Bolton described him.

The 3 people who flat out said no quid pro quo and 1st hand witnesses, in the House inquiry evidence their testimony on record is all that’s needed.

  21. Dale A Albrecht says:

Somehow Rudy Guiliani never impressed me as being a galacticly stupid man.

Knowing full well the Mueller investigation was looking for anything,, with full participation of the FBI , even under Wray if corruption and ties to foreign entities by the Trump team. The deeper Guiliani dug into the Ukraine corruption the dribs and drabs of leaks claiming guiluani corruption started. The wonders never cease during the impeachment inquiry the FBI arrest Parnas and his partner for campaign finance violations. Then the day the trial begins Parnas starts giving interviews in MSNBC. Hes accused of laundering foreign money into GOP politicians.

First off Guiluani a d team Trump can not be si incredibly stupid to have anything to do with this with every MSM journalist and Mueller and Democrat running around for years digging for anything to get Trump a d freeze any investigation into the roots if the “Russian” and “Ukraine ” connections to sunk his presidency.

I’ll go out on a limb here. The heretofore unnamed GOP politicians Parnas and company allegedly funneled foreign money to will turn out to be vulnerable house and Senate members up for reelection. Parnas is a Russian born but since childhood a US citizen. Nice twist to funneling money. The Clintons took it directly from the Chinese into Bill’s campaigns. But then took hundreds of millions of foreign money via the foundation as they matured on influence peddling.

Somehow this stinks like last weeks fish and the timing is to convenient.

  22. I think I am about to be convinced of a deep state where everyone wants a status quo and that any POTUS other than TRUMP who wants to shake up Washington will get the Trump Treatment.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Every president who went along was left alone. Sure they ran on hiw they’ll change their predecessors activities and policies but only did so in a minor way and in some cases doubled down.

Rumors Kennedy was getting seriously fed up with the CIA and paid the ultimate price.

Johnson ran on “Not sending good American boys to SE Asian” and Goldwater was a warmonger. Got elected and we know the rest.

Nixon good bad or otherwise got us out of Vietnam in a messy peace. But out. Started detente and fell victim to Watergate break in where there was absolutely no need against McGovern. Breakin botched by FBI and CIA black bag specialists.

      Ford a placeholder

Carter went along and nearly destroyed the economy. Turned the ME into a raging mess by abandoning the Shah and installing Khomeni

Reagan nearly paid the ultimate price and never was the same. CIA and other BS nearly sank his presidency…but wonders of wonders the deep State by that time was getting what they wanted so nothing came of it

Bush….what can i say . He had reelection in the bag, except he announced the “New World Order” and had to go.

Clinton never reacted to terrorist provocation but allowed the sale of highly restricted technology to China. Blocked Louis Freeh from going after Chinese spies in Los Alamos.
Drained jobs like crazy to Mexico and China and india. Just to name a few

Bush Ii. What can i say here also went along with CIA analysis and even made a bigger fucking mess of the ME. No calls for impeachment and started wholesale stripping of our rights via the Patriot Act.

Obama ran on change yet doubled down on the ransacking of the middle east. Creating huge waves of displaced refugees. Targeted every government that pushed back against the “Globalist” new world order. Violated the intent of treaty approval by the Senate of Climate Change and nuclear deals by changing the words. To accord and agreement instead of “Treaty”

McCain would have been a worse warmonger. And was a never Trumpers. Romney would gave been an easy pawn on globalisation and is a never Trumper

Hillary would have sold the US out. Started more wars in her own than when she was SOS.

Carter, both Bushes, Clinton and Obama all hate and actively hate Trump..Bush I is gone now. They were all peas in the same pod

Trump disrupted the “New World Orders” plans.

Anyone ever notice that even though the rhetoric between the US and Iran has been adversarial for 40 years. And the US supported them militarily through the iraq iran war. Only one time were any Iranian assets destrited by us. A few ships were sunk during the tanker escort operation. Though they spread like a disease through the ME nothing directly has ever happened to them.

My Texican friend, a little confirmation of your revalation. Just think about the massive blow back that has suddenly appeared claiming all this Ukraine stuff was “created by the Russians as an attempt to divert the attention away from them”. Think about the depth and power of those needed to create such a narrative in such a short time and then make it the “truth on the evening news”.

Those seeking the truth are facing a hurricane strength headwind.

Or one might conclude the Democrat party, really doesn’t want to call witnesses.

    • Just A Citizen says:

I think much of what we saw and heard is the current state of HOUSE Democrats spilling over into testimony in the Senate. And Roberts being his usual go along self. The Dems should have been graveled many times for making personal attacks and insults of the Senate Republicans.

Now the one point of the finale that the media completely missed. The Dems and MSM have been howling about the R’s being impartial and not railroading this. Yet how did the Dem Senators act during the first few days. How did they rally to Schiff and immediately start going to the cameras to claim Trump’s Guilt has been proven. The House case was overwhelming and convincing due to the fabulous performance of the genius called Schiff. I actually felt revulsion when I saw some of the accolades.

As for the witness issue, you are probably correct but they constructed a tactic which they could win either way. Because the witnesses they want are mostly those who would continue to criticize Trump on policy and process, much like the witnesses in the House hearings. That and they now seem to want to wrap the ex Ambassador into this abuse of power in some strange way.

Included in that course and certification review was about going public to the media unless you were the spokesperson for the company. Do it on your own and go against policy it was grounds for immediate dismissal and possible criminal prosecution. Dismissal was guaranteed

A lady friend of mine is in the Army. Her Mother is a retired Major, Medical Corp. Her Grandfather was Commandant of West Point in the 70’s. Her uncle is pretty infamous.

Over the years even though she’s been deployed to the ME 4 times. She refuses to enter into any political discussion no matter how private or innocent. As close a political comment she came to was her uncle was a jerk after his disgrace over 6 documents. His mistake was embarrassing Obama, and Biden over Afghanistan

  32. Isn’t it amazing that the media is not reporting what is happening on the border now? Isn’t it amazing that border crossings have been curtailed by 85% and that there is no need for detainment centers now. Isn’t it amazing, how the Mexican authorities are now stopping the caravans at their southern border and turning them back and not issuing Mexican Visas…and the media does not report it, Isn’t it amazing that the media is not reporting the building of the fence in certain areas has actually done its job and is redirecting traffic where we want it. Isn’t it further amazing that the media does not report the amount of military support on the border in re-directing traffic to where we want it…

You can fill volumes of what the media will not report.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Sir….you forget, there never was a problem and a made up crisis by trump.😁

      • Oh, I forgot….so the fact that I was there and saw the problem first hand is simply that I did not see what I thought I saw and, therefore, it did not happen. How stupid of me.

        • Sir, according to MSNBC and CNN, you are a white supremist who often has hallucinations as a result of secret mind control Tweets from Trump that FOX puts on the air.

To the sane people of the country, we believe you 😛

        • Dale A Albrecht says:

          😉👍 just pure hallucinations sir.

      It would shock almost everyone.

    • I live about 100 mi NW of Bear Valley. I live on the ridge above the S. Fork of the American River just 5 miles from Coloma aka Sutter’s Mill Gold Discovery Park. The mailing address is Placerville but Lotus, Rescue, Shingle Springs, Cameron Park and Coloma are all closer.

I’ve only listened to about 10 minutes, so far, so can’t say much. I will say, from the reports on this, I thought this meeting was much smaller and more private than what this shows.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

They keep saying Guiliani associates. At best clients after the election. Got their noses under the tent flap looking to kick start their businesses again. Looks bad but though a loose cannon at times is not stupid enough to get involved with money laundering and illegal foreign money into the R’s campaign war chests. Especially with the FBI and Mueller looking for anything to get trump.

      https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/07/chinese-illegally-donated-bill-clinton-reelection-campaign-media-downplayed/amp/

This is more about the Clinton’s and the DNC .and referencing the Trump – Russia accusation. Clintons got off Scot free.

Move forward to the Parnas and Furman case. 1sr with one a Russian emigre and a ukrainian that have been involved in dodgy deals and business. I’m more wondering who the GOP politicians are that were being set up with receiving illegal foreign money. The timing of arrests and indictment right in the middle of DNC threats to the vulnerable senators on the rules governing the impeachment trial and potential verdict. I’ve heard over a d over Schumer, Schiff and Nadler make threats referencing the 2020 election…..that of you dont vote to convict Trump now watch out

  36. Finally, the beginning of the end is here. The BS impeachment finally gets to have some real lawyers do some talking and by this time in a few days, we could start thinking about violent protests when acquittal occurs.

The China virus issue looks like a mess over there. What does everyone think, just a natural occurring virus or a bio weapon that’s gotten out of control?

I’m not a Crat, but just how mad are they going to be after this circus is over? Will Bernie voters turn on the Crats when he doesn’t win the nomination?

So far, a mild winter here in Pa. It looks to last heading into February. My guess is that we will get a doozy of a snow storm before it’s all over.

    Happy Monday! 😀

      Stuff about the virus.

Many of us here have some training regarding bioweapons. I’ve also dealt with biohazards on a daily basis while working at a hospital. From what I have read, it’s airborne and easily transmitted between humans. If this would hit the homeless on the West Coast, it could possible be a major problem, and not just in deaths from the virus. If it grows to the point that our transportation and delivery system is seriously affected, then the problems will really begin. Worst places to be….high population cities. The possibilities are endless…and not something to be ignored.

  37. More witnesses? Who would you like to hear from?

  38. Dale A Albrecht says:

The Parnas/Furman and now the Bolton book leaks. The timing is just to perfect.

Bolton is no better than Comey and company.
Get fired, regardless if the spin, write a book, submit it for review to the NSC, get it published in less than 6 months, timed for any impeachment trial votes. Give me a break.

Reminds me of our small village in VT. Extremely corrupt board if selectman. A development was built by one if the selectman miles out in the town not the village. One of the other selectman was the realtor handling the sales. They could not be sold without water. The township was not to be supplied with water out of the village supply. The selectman needed the water. What did they do. The pipeline needed to go across a very old iron bridge on Rte 7 the old major highway that connected the towns and cities along Lake Champlain. The water main to be installed was 2 feet in diameter. The weight on the bridge when full of water far exceeded the weight limits if the bridge even without truck traffic . Even so the volume of water in the multi mile pipeline pushed the village water supply below safe limits. They went to the State field permits because the bridge and highway were State owned. The entire permit process including engineering studies went through in less than one working day.

I couldn’t even get permits to paint my historical home in that time. Corruption runs deep regardless of community

  39. Been listening to the trial a bit while doing other things. Nadler and Schiff, at this point, along with their pals, need Preparation H, in bulk. They have had their entire case crushed by facts.

So, let me guess a bit. The Crats will motion to dismiss without a full vote of guilty or not guilty for political reasons. It may not work, but they might try.

Witnesses are useless at this point. They should have done that BEFORE voting on impeachment, including going to court to try and get their way.

The selective leaks are similar to the Kavanaugh hearings strategy. Won’t work.

My opinion: Nadler, Pelosi and Schiff, at a minimum should be charged and tried for treason.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

I dont have cable or internet via any provider than my wireless iPhone connection. The feeds usually of the trial are linked from The Daily Caller -Judicial Watch- Facebook. One feed will not load at all. The second feed of the trial has no sound. Video is fine but zero sound. Talk about monopoly censorship.

Searching for a feed that’s uncensored. Like CSPAN.

Refuse more witnesses. The House came with a overwhelming case go with it.

  40. Seven in 10 millennials consider themselves “plant parents,” according to new research.

While millennial demand for houseplants is high, a poll of 2,000 millennials (aged 25–39) revealed that 67 percent say taking care of plants is more of a challenge than they bargained for.

Almost half don’t currently own plants because they don’t know how to take care of them — and 20 percent would sooner sit through a root canal than take care of a plant because of the pressure.

The study, conducted by OnePoll in conjunction with Article, examined the attitudes and behaviors of millennials toward plants and uncovered that 22 percent are apprehensive about owning a plant because they’ve accidentally killed one in the past.

The most challenging part about taking care of plants was found to be knowing the proper amount of sunlight needed. But the challenges don’t end there — respondents were also clueless on how much water a plant needs, whether the plant should live inside or outside, and the practice of pruning a plant.

Three in 10 respondents revealed one of hardest lessons that comes with being a good “plant parent” is how easy it can be to accidentally kill your plant. This leads to a bit of anxiety, as three in five often worry about making sure their plants have enough sunlight, while a further 56 percent say they often worry about whether their plants have enough water.

    ——————————–

I have no words to even comment.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Sheer laziness. I had some indoor plants that lasted 40 years and many many moves.

I had bought a cactus at the grocery store 30 years ago. It was less than one foot tall. The pot was no more than 8 inches across and deep. Soil more gravel than actual soil. It grew well in a bay window at the time to over 5 feet. Same pot and soil. Water maybe once a month maybe. It was a SW cactus. One morning it looked like somebody removed it skeleton and was like a pile of spaghetti on the floor. Seeing it cost $5.00 I said screw it and just put it in the porch. Being a limp plant and full of spikes I just forgot about it. Much later like two months it was standing upright all by itself. No water but rain and slightly different sun.

It lasted several more years and grew to over 7 feet. Same pot and soil. What killed it was I missed a weather forecast of a freeze warning and didn’t bring it in. In the AM it was frozen and ultimately unrecoverable. I’m almost sure it lived longer under my care than if it was un the wild..

  41. Dale A Albrecht says:

Anyway the videos on FB posted by Judicial Watch passed from the Daily Caller filming of day 7 disappeared.

I searched CSpan and the hearings video stopped as Sekulo (sp) was speaking with a message, this video can no longer be viewed.

I searched another site which was carrying the CSpan footage. The comments were polar opposite of everything I’ve seen to date. Coverup coverup coverup. Trumo wishes he could resign today. We want the truth where are the .witnesses. we want witnesses.

We watched weeks of witnesses upon which the House built their case and presented to the Senate. The defense is using 1) the law 2) the house could have gone to court and maybe compelled the close inner circle to testify but LONG standing rulings would have killed that. 3) every witness in the prosecution said point blank stated they had NO first hand knowledge of what was said. And repeatedly said, my opinion, I guess, I disagree with the president etc etc etc. And those closest said no quid pro quo. 4) they saw NO crime committed. 5) the vaunted Hill said reviews of aid was being conducted across the board and many delays occurred and have occured throughout her career since the 80’s

But for years Obama refused military aid and Trump gave them the aid. Yet the house contended even a minute of delay of the military aid was endangering national security.

The defense does not need to call any witnesses no matter how many call fir more. They have ample rebuttal ammunition on video and under oath testimony from the house inquiry.

    • Let’s stipulate the Trump did withhold aide for an investigation into 2016 election interference and into the apparent corruption of the Biden’s in Ukraine. I do not doubt that many presidents have withheld aide in the past in exchange for some benefit to the US. In fact I expect it. The question is, was the aide withheld for personal benefit or to benefit the USA or the recipient country? Did Trump withhold the aide to gather dirt on Biden that he could use in the upcoming election? Was the effort part of his re-election strategy and was it discussed and pushed by the re-election team? I have seen no evidence that his re-election team was involved in this. Second, was there justification to go after the Bidens on legal grounds? Were they dirty? If so, then there are legitimate reasons to request an investigation from the Ukrainians. It is hard to ask them to clean up their own mess when we are blatantly corrupt ourselves. So unless they can show that Trump was simply trying to gather election dirt on the Bidens, there is no case here as he has a perfect right to uncover our own corruption where ever it is found. Joe’s status as a candidate is thus irrelevant. If there is any doubt, Trump should be acquitted.

Given the level of corruption that Schweitzer has uncovered along with Rudy, I do not understand why the D’s continue to support Biden. They ran a corrupt individual the last time. Doing so twice is moronic.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

State dept witness Hill said in her testimony, ignored in the D’s presentation delays in foreign aid as reviews are conducted have been occurring her entire career since the 80’s. Common practice.

Dershowitz commented on that point also. He said ALL State to State negotiations involve quid pro quo. You stop this ir that and I’ll give you this. Specifically mentioning examples about Israeli settlements. Think iran nuclear deal. You stop trying to produce nuclear weapons a d well give you “$$$” it’s the basis of negotiation. Tit for tat

  42. Dale A Albrecht says:

There is a meme that came out in Europe today about genocide. Gave a number and a flag of the Nazis. Gave a number and flag of the USSR the finally showed the American flag with 100 million.

But here I’ll follow up with how woke the millenials are when they tore down Confederate monuments saying how offensive they are etc.

This following is about the bestowing of sainthood on Father Junipero Serra

Pope Francis canonised him on September 23, 2015, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., during his first visit to the United States. His missionary efforts earned him the title of Apostle of California.

    Now my comments

Where are the protests and tearing down of the slave labor camps and gulags by the left called the California Missions along El Camino Real? Even though established by the Spanish as they settled California, enslaving and killing off much of the regions indigenous people.

I do know from European articles there were some protests there arguing against the canonization of Father Junipero Serra for his crimes against humanity. But I guess this fell on dead ears of Pope Bergoglio

  43. Dale A Albrecht says:

This was posted in Italy the other day about just how profitable Human Trafficking has been over the past 3 years by the criminal organizations.

The landings of over 700 thousand migrants on the Italian coasts generated an illicit gain of 4.2 billion euros, with an increase of over 300 percentage points in the three-year period 2014-2016 compared to the previous three-year period. This is what a study on the local Calabrian economy made by Demoskopika on behalf of the Bcc Mediocrati on “ L’altra Calabria. Foreigners and migrants in the regional economy ” reported by ilmattinodisicilia.it

“Italian organized crime – it is written in a note from the research institute – has granted transnational criminal groups, led by Chinese, Maghreb, Nigerian and Albanian organizations , to manage the entire chain of human trafficking. In exchange for the money for the transfer and related services, often anticipated by the trafficker, migrants are totally enslaved to criminal organizations at least until the debt is extinguished “.

The placet of ‘ndrangheta, mafia, camorra and Sacra Corona Unita, says Demoskopika, “occurs for some priority reasons. In the first place, the concession of Italian criminal associations, ‘ndrangheta in the head, to organizations of human traffickers obtains the benefit of an’ organizational criminal complicity ‘of the latter in the drug market whose turnover is, without any doubtful, more rewarding than the arrival of illegal immigrants. Secondly, because Italian organized crime can obtain high earnings from contracts and subcontracting, won downwards, being able to have an army of low-cost workers “.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

      Alan Dershowitz was fantastic today.

    • Just A Citizen says:

      V.

That is one of the better explanations I have seen these past few months. Opinions on this are becoming like toes…………. we all have many of them. But I did get a good laugh out of this was well, regarding the Democrats:

“They neglect to observe that Iredell’s comments have limited value, since the North Carolina convention rejected the Constitution, but we should forgive them their lack of familiarity with the Framing materials — they are like a kid learning to ride a bike for the first time.”

  44. Bolton…….everyone is concerned about Bolton. Why is no one concerned that a transcript of his book sent to the NSC was compromised? I do not care if he admitted to the Kennedy assassination…..leaks from the National Security Agency puts that to shame.

The fact that Bolton’s book is coming out is not happenstance, it is shameful and it still proves nothing. I want to see some proof…..and someone saying he said/she said is not proof. Not to me. I would not believe Bolton if he said that night was dark and day was light.

    That said……..have a great day.

    • By the way, if they want more witnesses, that is ok by me but NO ONE is immune. There is talk now of making Biden immune from testifying because he is running for President. The deep state is alive and well and it DOES exist.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

Just like Hillary and her entire staff were and are immune from legitmately serious national security crimes solely because she was a candidate for president. And seems to be still so because it would appear to be political retribution

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

That’s what Dershowitz said yesterday in other words.

He read what had been “Leaked” and got everybody all agog….no crime again.

I wish I had had dershiwirz as a constitutional professor. I listened to every word he spoke.

By bringing in all the historical debate that occured, and the whys and why not for the reasoning of the words and meaning of words in the impeachment clause, had to be said. I sure as hell hope the wobbly senators were listening plus those on the D side if the aisle.

If this impeachment stands and Trump is convicted and removed Cingress will have achieved what the Framers feared most. Turning our government into a Englush style parliamentary government where the head of the government can simply be removed with no actual crime being committed and just a simple party vote of no confidence.

There are NO specified crimes in these articles of impeachment.

The D’s in their arguments consistantly are saying you the Senate have to convict and remove Trump, because we CAN NOT trust the American people to do so in November. What an insult to the voter.

      • So far, I have read that the Biden’s were involved in money laundering issues with the Barisma stuff. I’m sure that will come out down the road, when the timing is better. It’s not needed yet, as the Crats have NO chance of getting a conviction. They definitely don’t want Rudi testifying, which I would bet his name will top a few lists.

Bolton’s stuff means nothing. Nothing wrong with wanting corruption being investigated. How would they Crats feel if Hunter Biden was working for a major drug cartel? Would they still whine about Trump wanting and investigation? Yes, of course they would because they’re just not very bright and want to protect the corrupt ways. Nobody seems to remember that Kerry’s and Pelosi’s family are part of all this.

It may take awhile, but Trump is getting these snakes to come out in the open. Sadly, People. Are. Stupid.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Based on the accuracy and truthfulness of past Leaks, WE REALLY HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT HE WROTE.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Ah hem…………… That has been my primary concern from the first minute the story hit the wires. I even posted several comments to that affect on The Hill this past weekend. Only to get called a Russian Troll for defending Trump.

But it is a legit question and not one of the major media outlets identified it in the first 48 hours. Then last night I see a story where Col Videman’s brother does transcript reviews at the NSA. His office was across the hall from the good Col’s. No evidence the brother did a review or leaked the story, but what a coincidence.

Jethro Gibbs Rule #3: There are no coincidences.

      • Are you NOT a Russian Troll? I always thought you were an FSB agent sent to infiltrate the far far far right of American political micro blogs..?

Re Gibbs: I demand to know how he got that boat out of his basement! How! HOW, DAMMIT!

        • Just A Citizen says:

Not one boat but at least three.

        • Just A Citizen says:

          Mathius

I guess you are more insightful than I. My ancestors ruled over part of what is now Russia. They sold their services of protection to monarchs and tribal leaders of the Ukraine and Baltic States. Never in my dreams did I come to think I was ACTUALLY a Russian and not the offspring of my Viking ancestors.

Maybe I am a victim of a Russian plot to brainwash children, then inserting them in the USA unaware of their true identity. Only to come out of hiding when the Russian’s were finally able to install their own puppet in the White House. If not for the left wingers and Democrats who live on the internet, and at CNN and MSNBC none of us would ever have known of this plot.

Now the real question is…………… who are you really working for? Given you have already displayed multiple personas I really question your story of being some brainiac who migrated from California to New York.

  45. Now, the new conspiracy theory…….this is not about Trump at all….it is about killing off Biden.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

Even though I know different, because he’s still around, but Biden should have been political history way back in the 80’s

  46. Talked to a fella that hated Trump last night. We had a blast laughing about it when I reminded him that he could be looking at Hillary every day. In the end it was cordial.

I also reminded him that Liberal policies are known to cause homelessness, shit and needles everywhere they run the show. Not to mention high crime and murder rates. Yet, people are still stupid enough to continue to vote for these failures. There was no argument.

So, one must wonder why people vote for these losers year in and year out, only to watch things just get worse as well as being taxed more and more on the promise of fixing things that never come true. Maybe Mathius is right, People. Are. Stupid.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

As I said to Dale the other day, people vote for things they wish existed not things as they exist. So, someday somewhere, liberals will create a utopia with no poop or drugs. And of course we will all be happy Communists working for the betterment of man as we live in identical houses, have identical possessions, raise identical children all for the greater glory of the HIVE.

    • Just A Citizen says:

I see this argument about Democratic cities all the time. While I agree that their policies and malfeasance in administer their citiies contributes, the critics ignore one key question.

WHERE would all those people go if the Dems managed their cities the same as the Reps.?

Let’s get something straight. These people don’t suddenly become productive members of the local community when a City Govt. starts cracking down. They move…… to somewhere with less restrictions or harassment. They even try taking over sections of National Forests and Parks during the warmer months.

Since the first efforts to stop the problems we now see in Seattle and San Fran were first tried, the homeless, drug addicts, mentally ill and designer homeless have simply moved to other places. As those places become fewer the concentration becomes greater.

Cracking down, as in charging them, arresting them, removing them from the city does not solve the problem. It just relocates it. Much like stopping the harvest of trees in the western US and Canada simply moved tree cutting to the SE Asian islands. Where the ecosystems were less resilient.

  47. Short rant and a warning. Started watching the Netflix show Pandemic. Didn’t make it through two episodes because it was nothing but damn propaganda by Bill Gates (who funded it, I have learned). Nothing but a pro vaccine crock of bullshit. I also find it hard to believe that Liberals who are screaming about Climate Change and over population are also pro vaccine. Talk about a contradiction. As I have said, I have no position on vaccines. Pick your poison, so to speak.

Rant over, you may return to your normal schedule 😛

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

A former classmate of mine out in CA is definitely an anti vaccination advocate. When we were kids there were 7 vaccination we received. However today the numbers are multiplied. The drs are even vaccinating infants <24 hours old. The multiples and combination vaccines to save time can only have unknown side affects on children. As I stated before in San Diego i was a company commander. One day to save time the corpsmen gave my 100 adult men all the shots and vaccinations. Most were layed low and extremely sick for about a week. The corpsmen were court martialed by the command. If that can happen to adults imagine babies and small children effects

  48. Dale A Albrecht says:

Price of regular unleaded yesterday at my usual gas station $1.89

    • Yep…..we have $1.88 on average and in some places $1.83,,,,,I was watching the local news earlier and there is talk about an old fashioned gas war because everybody is full of fuel. Claiming that prices could go as low as $1.50……we shall see.

Unlike the old days when I drove a “muscle car”….and ethyl gas was .35 per gallon. Good old hot burning, tire screeching full leaded gasoline.

      • and just sitting here thinking back to the days when you could pull your own car into your garage and tear it down and put it back together again without computers. Set your own carburetor and torque your own valves and set timing for the street races…….

and, as I have stated before, I still have nightmares about not being able to beat the Ford Shelby GT 500………arrrrgghhhhhh!!!! I could beat the Chevy 409, the Camaro super sport, ….even the full ram Dodge Hemi…..The only other car that gave me a tough time was the Corvette 427 but even then I could win 2 of 3 times…….

But that Shelby GT 500………………………….arrrghhhhh!!!! Never beat it. Not once….Did get close to its bumper one time but that is because he missed a gear….but…..damn.

Good days are gone….no more street races….cant even pop under a 15 anymore in the quarter mile…sigh.

And now we drive computer generated bull shit cars and electric autos…..heavier sigh.
        ——————————
The only saving grace is our big ass pickup trucks and SUV’s. Bring one of them thar teenie weenie electric cars here…….you better have a 2,000 pound weight in the trunk….and it better drive 70 mph or better on our highways….or just wind of passing vehicles will throw ya in a ditch.

        • Dale A Albrecht says:

Those were the days. When my brother and I got our DL’s dad announced that we were now doing all the maintenance on the cars. We could also at our expense make modifications. Up until computers ruled, could tear down an engine and rebuild in a weekend.

When I lived in Italy I had a very much modified sports car. The only cars that could routinely beat me on the Autostrada were Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. One of the guys who worked for me had a car that over 2.5 years NEVER beat me no matter how much tweaking he did to his ride. Just before I left Italy a drunk driver came into my lane and we had a head on collision. My car was an illusion of it’s original car. The frame was tubular a d only the body looked original. His car was completely cut in two from front to back. I had technically minor damage because the frame saved my ass. With him being drunk all insurance is null and void. With me leaving in a few days I parts the car. A motor pool mechanic bought the engine and drivetrain it took him part if a day to install then into his car. The guy who could never beat me was totally pissed off. Why because the mechanic was alway 3rd in our races. Now he became 1st and Don was still an also ran 2nd place.

          • And remember, for added sound, we could weld a header device to the exhaust just under the engine and we could open them up from within the car…..that would rattle the windows for three blocks when you “got on it.”

        • Bring one of them thar teenie weenie electric cars here…….you better have a 2,000 pound weight in the trunk….and it better drive 70 mph or better on our highways….or just wind of passing vehicles will throw ya in a ditch.

I have a message here for you from Little Blue Car. Message reads: “Eat me.”

        • and it better drive 70 mph or better on our highways

Oh, and Little Blue tops out at 87 mph. Not gonna elaborate on how I know that.

          • Ok…then you can drive in the slow lane….Question….was the 87 mph downhill and with the wind?

            • It hits 87 uphill, downhill, in three feet of snow, or the middle of an F5 hurricane.

Little Blue does not give a single solitary shit about such mundane matters.

(Until you hit 87 and it cuts the power to the accelerator, and then that’s all you get.)

    3) all the witnesses and documents the democrats claim they want NOW were available, possibly, by supeona back when the inquiry was in process. Most likely they’d have been denied by the court. Due to long standing precedence.

    4) listeningto the call in comments I have to agree with Mathius. “The American People are Stupid” that is not a failing held only by the Republicans or only Democrats.the people comments on all channels shows clear evidence that the people and I will include most Senators and Congressmen have NO understanding of the highest and fundemental base of all our laws the Constitution and our bill of rights. Pure partisan bias is the rule of today. God save us all.

With the democrats continuing to call for more witnesses before they can make up their mind is pure BS or was the responsibility of the House to do so. They CHOSE not to pursue these 4 witnesses when they had a chance. This is just to cause the Senate trial to be turned into a long drawn out circus. Ti claim the defense showed NO evidence is pure fantasy. They used the witnesses testimony the House provided if them either totally disagreeing with the committee allegations or stated it’s their assumption, feeling, guess and all said at one time or another they had differences of opinion on policy but in their eyes NO laws were broken. That includes Lt Col. Vindman. Plus the defense used the LAW. Which the House ignored

    • Here is the worse of it…..all this stuff that is happening to Trump will now continue. IF the Dems win the White House then the Republicans should immediately take a page out of the Democrat playbook…..and start the same song second verse. You do not need proof..you just need to say so…..

So…let us assume that Bolton says….” Yep it is a quid pro quo..” and Trump says it is not. WHERE IS THE PROOF? Is there a tape? A written document?

Or….are we now to the point that proof is not needed and one person’s word against another is sufficient?

Could Senatir Machin from WVA possibly be a candidate from the D side to switch votes. With his daughter definitely involved in ripping off the government on pharmacueticals and enriching themselves with incredible salaries and bonuses.

For those who don’t know what this group is about……….. this is what JACSDAUGHTER did for 4 years, touring Europe, Russia, Japan and parts of the USA. She was chosen to be in the first group to go to China but realized she needed to start the next chapter. The following is the Young Americans video discussing their foreign outreach tours.

      • Super cool! You should be and I know you are, extremely proud of your daughter. And what a wonderful experience for her personally, to boot. Good job dad!

  54. Ok…..I am going to try this one more time. Would someone please…PLEASE…tell me how to post a picture on this thing? First, I do know that it has to be a JPG. I understand this.

Can I just save a picture in JPEG in my history and then just copy and paste? Also, unfortunately, I am running Windows “fucking” 10….Worse than windows millenium…

So, for the benefit of a stupid colonel that is a computer illiterate………HELP.
