The Created Crisis

  1. Here come the gun grabbers.

  2. Let them come, G man…….it did not work in the past and it will not work in the future. The assault weapons ban in the past just drove it under ground…that’s all. There were as many purchased then as now and it will just drive it all under ground.

If you would do the research, as I have, the weapons makers have all established foreign domiciles to make weapons out of country. Pretty simple. Mexico has horrid gun laws….but I can go buy anything that I want there. And Mexico has several gun makers making weapons in Mexico….it is interesting really. They do not have gun shows nor street merchants….but walk right in and buy one straight from the manufacturer. No registration…no nothing. No background checks……..

    • I might mention that last year, three manufacturers of the AK 47 have been established in Mexico. One from the US (Alpha Arms), One from Romania, and one from China. All making and selling these in Mexico now and with Mexico having one of the toughest gun laws in the world.

    • Not too concerned with what Congress does, it will not affect me. In fact, the Sheriff sent me my renewal paperwork for my CCL which I got today.

Every time there is a mass shooting, the gun grabbers start with all their BS. As for the Colorado shooter, the FBI was aware of him, which also seems to be a common thing with these lunatics.

  3. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

    On no particular topic…..

Wife was going through # 1 son’s abandoned stuff the other day. She found his grade in the Advanced Placement history test a 5 out of 5. She then reminded me that he was denied a seat in the 2 year AP class probably due to his political views at the time, which were straight Rush Limbaugh circa 1994. His teacher, a lay female was somewhere to the left of Ho Chi Minh.

I threw a fit at the time and went to the school, a private Catholic Jesuit prep school and enquired about him taking the test on his own which I knew was feasible. They finally agreed which I knew they would.

End of story, Junior pulled a five out of five, the twelve kids his former teacher coached mostly failed with a few eking out a 4. Moral of the story, leftist teachers are really bad. He never got the history medal though at graduation.

  4. Anyone else been following these 1st Amendment Audits? I’d never heard of them before, then one popped up on my suggested videos on YouTube and I’ve been binge watching them for a couple weeks. I’m curious if anyone else has heard of them and what your feelings are on them.

The short version is that random people go to any public or private place and use their 1st Amendment right of freedom of the press to video anything that your eyes can see. Meaning that if they were in..say..the Dept of Public Health, they can video all public foyers, hallways, posted notices…anything that is accessable to your own eyes…including people’s personal info if it happens to be in public view. Same thing for anywhere they video. These guys travel the country, studying each state’s laws thoroughly, beforehand.

The purpose is to educate the public first and foremost but a clear goal is to actually have LEO called to see exactly what the LEOs know about rights, and how they handle this kind of situation when it comes up. Its extremely interesting to me to watch these audits happen. I have yet to see an auditor be arrested or even receiving a ticket for the first thing that usually pops up…disorderly conduct or even trespassing.

I ask because I find myself on the auditor’s side, even though I have a hard time agreeing with them, when I would usually back the police. I think the audits are great for educating the public on rights. I also think its great for people…as in We the People…to take on a project like this. They get accused by the cops of being sovereign citizens, or Proud Boys, or whatever else kind of extremist comes to mind. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. But for the purposes of these audits, they’re Just a Citizen 😉 like we all are.

This guy is the best one I’ve been following. Some of them still do a good job at their audits, but seem to be in it more for their 15 mins of YouTube fame. This guy has a passion to teach people.
Amangansett Press link to video I just watched.

There are also people who Audit the Audit…where they deep dive into case law of random auditor’s videos. Haven’t watched this video, its just the first one when I pulled up their page.

  5. @JAC,

Told my mother your story about Lil JAC saying Pelosi was a lizard person. She literally got the chills. All I can say is WOW!

  6. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

So, we have a ship stuck in the Suez canal and Brent crude went up 5% in one day. Nice!

    • Correct me if I’m wrong, but Biden stopped all NEW permits for drilling on Federal land. Yet all the well in service are still in service and we should be still energy independent, If I’m missing something help me out 😀

      • Just A Citizen says:

I don’t know if it happened but there was word that he was going to order agencies to stop all existing permits. And that was for more than just drilling. This caused people to scream about violation of existing contracts which could cost Uncle Same Millions. So maybe they stopped. Or should I say……. delayed the action.

        • Since we are in the oil and gas business on a small scale, the only restrictions pertain to Federal Lands, for now. There was an attempt to stop private land drilling permits but it failed. But we have leases and can drill anywhere. There is another problem, however, that the Dems are trying to do. They are trying or will attempt to use the EPA to shut down wildcatters by making the rules so stringent that the cost of adherence would be prohibitive. The EPA tried this before but could not get on the land to monitor. Ranchers would not let them on unless they had a court order and the EPA found out how hard it was to get local court orders.

If you remember, we had a similar issue at our place in Oklahoma. We would not let them in to inspect our creeks and water sources without a court order and the courts would not grant them access unless they could prove that there was an existing problems. There is precedence in Oklahoma and Texas that prohibits “looking” for problems.

This same precedence is applying to private oil and gas drilling.

Now, of interesting note: The Indian Bureaus can still drill on Federal Land.

  7. Just A Citizen says:

And Biden has nominated this witch for a federal job. Democrats being Democrats. But for those of us who have been paying attention for longer than a few years this is really nothing new. They love using the power to push their agendas in any way they can. Let’s not forget Louis Learner and the IRS audits of non profit applications by Conservative groups.

  8. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Howdja like that presser? Ole Joe really was pretty peppy, Unfortunately after the 86th lie, distortion or misrepresentation about # 45, I had to run to the bathroom and empty myself.

Seems like old Joe is gonna reintroduce Trump’s policies with our South of the Border Neighbors then take credit for them as he has done with the vaccine roll out.
I see also he is going to forge new alliances with the same people Trump forged old alliances with against Chinese expansion. Like Orwell’s book, just make history disappear if it is inconvenient.

While I threw up, anyone mention kids in cages? How about that North China Sea thing. Betcha ya never heard of that one before!

  9. Just A Citizen says:

What Press Meeting were ya’ll watching? Looks like ol’ Uncle Joe did very, very well. Just ask the Democratic Party Media.

    • Even though I miss sparring with Mathius….it probably was the right thing for him to do to “cut n’ run”…there is NO WAY he could defend anything that has been done so far. Sad days ahead, folks. Protect yourself.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

It is in fact interesting how when the administration changed, he found himself to be painted into a corner of his own doing. Trumpster all bad, So, if that is the case, what do you do when every time the new Pres, VP or spokespeople open their mouth, they obviously lie.

Matt, God bless him, almost qualified for the Ed Koch “sane liberal” moniker but, right out of the ballpark, the “cognitive dissonance” caused by the Biden crew drove him underground. I think you might see a lot of this soon.

I’m going to watch Joe Scarborough and Mika carefully. He is already showing signs of CD but she is a true fascist. Might be looking for wife four and a new show soon.

  10. NEW YORK, NY—The team at Guinness Book of World Records is carefully monitoring to see who will claim the record for ‘Most Seniors Killed’. As of now, the competition is neck and neck between Governor Whitmer and Governor Cuomo.

“While both governors have worked very hard at handling the COVID pandemic as poorly as possible, sadly there can only be one winner,” said Guinness Book Of World Records spokesman Kyle Mansfield.

“I can’t say enough how hard it must’ve been during these unprecedented times to turn down outside help and to force Covid patients into nursing homes– despite the obvious risks.” Mansfield continued. “But without their poor leadership and incompetence, I wouldn’t have anyone to present this award to.”

“So without further ado, I present Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York with the first annual ‘Most Seniors Killed’ world record,” said Mansfield, presenting the award over zoom.

Governor Whitmer has reportedly complained that this is not fair and that she should at least get the record for “Most Covered Up Killed Seniors.”

Inside Guinness Book Of World Records headquarters, they are also eyeing Cuomo for ‘Most Accusers of Sexual Harassment as Governor’, but too many accusations keep piling in to obtain a final count.

Hi. Been at the hospital with my daughter all week. Still getting test results. Be back soon.

  12. Hi. Been at the hospital all week with my daughter. Still getting test results. Be back soon.

  13. Just A Citizen says:

Awwww, it looks like the Big Tech and MSM just provided evidence to break up Big Tech due to Sherman Trust Violations.

Get ready, Pelosi will remove her human face and reveal what she really is (Lil JAC can see her)

  15. Leftists are filling suit against the GA election law. No one has been harmed yet but how much you want to bet they get standing?

  16. Situation with my daughter is getting pretty serious would appreciate your prayers.

  17. Remember when we laughed at the USSR for having political officers embedded with troops?

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Putin is , alas, the last hope of Western Civilization.

      • Just A Citizen says:

Then that would mean there is NO HOPE at all.

So I reject your premise on the basis of OPTIMISM.

  18. MACON, GA—In a clear case of targeted 2nd Amendment suppression, the clerk behind the counter at Yippee Kay Yay Firearms has asked a gun purchaser to show his identification.

“You don’t need to see my identification,” said store patron Willard VonCarlton, who was trying to purchase a shotgun and a revolver. “I’m an American! It’s my God-given right to own a firearm!”

The clerk was unmoved. “Yeah I get all that, I just need to verify you are the same guy written on this paperwork,” he said.

“RACISM!” said VonCarlton. “You assumed I have an ID just from looking at me? Stereotype much? How are you even sure I know how to get an ID?”

“I’ll tell you what this is– SUPPRESSION!” he continued. You don’t want me to be able to defend myself! My 2nd Amendment will not be infringed! This is a HATE CRIME!”

According to witnesses, the clerk sighed and said: “Please, just show me your driver’s license, sir.”

    “Ok fine.”

  19. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Who agrees that the purpose of the “stand down” in the military, to weed out “extremists” is to actually only leave in place people who WILL shoot their fellow citizens on command?

If you believe in that Constitution thing and in the principles of the Declaration, it is hard to do that.

    • The Left are causing far reaching problems that may end up with lots of dead people, again.

    • I would choose ridicule. Each unit now has to have a Kaptain Kommissar. For the cancel culture, I would ask who is lined up for the dunking pool today?

      • You guys do know how this is really going to come down, right? Those of you long in the tooth…..understand this is merely window dressing, yes?

        • Remember that this is only going to be a block to be checked on the OER and EER reports.
Here is a direct quote from my OER’s (Offier Evaluation Report). The second to last line in every single OER that I have…..QUOTE: ” This officer fully supports the E/O program.”

Now this came down back in the 70’s that in order to get promoted or to move up, there was a left wing requirement that all officers support the E/O (Equal Opportunity) program. I have never been to a class. I have never conducted classes on this subject. We are not required to conduct classes only to say…..we support the E/O program. The same thing will happen with this other program…..there will be a statement that will simply be included on reports to make people feel better. Nothing will happen.

          • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

One can only hope but I do not trust the top leadership. I keep coming back to that damned movie “7 Days in May”. When Pelosi went to Milley about taking down Trump and he stayed silent, well, that does NOT bode well.

          • Dale A Albrecht says:

I remember that E/O clause in the 70’s and every evaluation in private corporations the rest of my working career. Yet never took a class

  20. In a presser this morning…Kamala Harris says, “I am not in charge of the border.” Biden hands he a hot potato…and she drops it.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Next logical statement …. “no one is”.

    • Welp. CBP invited Trump to visit. Somebody better get in charge, because the media will follow Trump like moths to flame. He says he’s going in the next week or so. Pass the popcorn.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

I would go to the entrance of a detention center, demand I be let in and get arrested if necessary! Then they could IMPEACH him again!

        • 🙂 Get ready for the speech about former presidents should remain silent. But didn’t Obama shadow Trump right off the bat, visiting world leaders after Trump had visited?

          • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

All previous bets are off after the election. Regardless of precedent, Trump should absolutely shadow Biden and Harris in every thing they do and every lie they say. The media will ignore Obama’s meddling and label Trump as a sore loser or as a big mouth, nothing new there. But, CALL them out!

Gradually, one by one, step by step, he will get through and increase “our” side.

There is NO, absolutely NO other alternative at this point. Why people on the right do not understand that they have lost teh country and this current situation is NOT normal, I will never understand.

A president writing an executive order knowing full well he has violated the Constitution is a TYRANT. A Senate and House Majority leader doing the same with HR 1 are no different. If you can, take back the house and Senate by a large majority in 18 months then impeach all three.

  21. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Colonel. I awoke this morning to be reminded by a good friend (USAF type out of Cam Rahn Bay) that it was Viet-nam Veterans Day…….

    Thank you sir!

    • Ahhh….thank you, sir. Cam Rahn Bay… disembarking point back to the states……my last night in country before boarding the medevac……sappers hit the ammunition and bomb storage dump. I have some great pics of it going up….I will try to figure out how to post them on here. Huge 500 pound bombs going off…shock waves in the air and the facility was at least a mile from where we were…and the reverberations were huge. Quite a sight.

Here, I was….having survived a tour and one half in country before getting hurt and sent home….laying, UNARMED, in a barracks waiting for my flight home the next day thinking….”the bastards are going to get me yet”. Resilient little buggers infiltrating an Air Force base ammunition storage areas on a peninsula……”SIGH”……..but, I made it.

AKA forced vaccinations. A recent VA study says that the vaccine will work for 7 to nine months. The MSM is pushing the vaccines hard, which is a big reason why I’m not getting one anytime soon. The Left will not let this crap go away anytime soon. Look for two more years of Covid fear porn at the least.

We have been fully open locally since before Christmas. Zero local Covid cases. Makes me wonder if most of this wasn’t on purpose to begin with.

Can’t wait for Pelosi to remove her human suit and show her true self 😀 😀

  23. On February 27, 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced it had “issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for the third vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19),” the Janssen (Johnson&Johnson) Covid-19 vaccine.

This announcement is virtually identical to the EUAs previously issued for Covid-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer-Biontech and Moderna.

In each of the EUAs, the FDA has been careful to avoid any claim that the vaccines provide protection against infection or transmission of the virus. Similarly, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have each publicly stated that the vaccines have NOT been shown to prevent infection or transmission.

All of their regulatory documents and commentary addressing the issue state clearly that there is no evidence that the vaccines affect either infection with or transmission of the virus, nor do they prevent symptoms of Covid-19 from appearing.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Yes, but that is true of the Flu Vaccine as well. Nothing really new in this regard.

However, since viral loading seems to relate to your risk of infecting others it seems logical that the vaccine will reduce the risk of you infecting others. As the virus cannot reproduce and take hold to the same degree as someone with no immunity.

This is why I asked a couple months back what “90% Effective” means. I still have not seen an explanation of how this phrase is translated with respect to the disease.

      • AS I said earlier, a study by the Veterans Admin stated that the vaccine will only be effective (if at all) for 7 to 9 months. Not worth the chance at side effects to me.

      • Hi JAC….how’s it going up there?

        • Just A Citizen says:

Sun came out today. Very tired from doing a bunch of hard labor. Today trying to cut a table slab out of a big spruce we cut down. It was leaning towards the house after the last big northerly wind storm. Have to get a bigger saw as my 24″ bar just couldn’t keep the cut straight with a 28 to 30 ” wide tree.

Daughter is back with us as she has to work remote anyway so thought she would escape the big city until they make her go back to the office.

Trying to get Possum Lodge and the Shop both done along with garden and farm in before June. Oh, and did I mention I have a deck to build on the guest cabin, which happens to require jack hammering two concrete porches out to make room.

So I guess things are just pretty much the same as always. Lookin forward to fishin season starting about mid to late May.

Oh, in case ya’ll weren’t paying attention, we are apparently overrun with Insurrectionist Don’t Tread on Me types up here. The more people from California, Washington, Oregon and the MSM complain about our red neck ways the more darn people move here. Funny side affect though. It is driving the local paper’s editorial board crazy. The new comers challenge all authority and have taken on the schools for teaching social justice garbage. A bond levy failed here a few weeks back. Has the “elites” completely tied in knots. But never fear, they determined the bond levy failed only because they didn’t do a good job of PR.

Now have ya’ll recovered from the big freeze?

          • Oh, yeah…we recovered from the big freeze…most plants have made it although they are starting from scratch almost. They were frozen down to the ground but the ground temperature never got below freezing. three inches down the temp was still forty degrees. Bermuda grass is popping out, flowers are popping out…trees are budding a leafing….this year will not be as colorful because all the plant energy will go to the stems and leaves that were hurt…but things are getting back to normal.

Greg Abbott (governor) hit the pissed off button on our energy grid and as I pointed out earlier, it was not the power grid failing it was the decisions to black out some areas in order to sell higher prices in other areas. All of the board of directors of Ercot (energy grid) either resigned or were fired. It was mismanagement of the grid that caused the problems….not lack of energy available. That has been straightened out now. There were some areas that legitimately lost power due to downed lines and such but not lack of power. Out three coal fired plants are opening back up now that they have been refurbished with no emissions in the air. This crap about the wind generators not being winterized was crapola for the most part. Most of them were winterized and still froze….

Our biggest losses in the areas of game animals. Lots of white tail deer not used to these temps were frozen to death. A lot of game ranches with imported animals are decimated. All the African animals were frozen to death. Texas indigenous animals all survived except the white tail deer population. It has been hard hit. Some of the freezing temperatures got down below the Mexican border where they have never seen below zero temps…..wind chill in Del Rio for two days was minus 10……that is cold for that area. Sure helped stop the migrant flow tho…..

I have been very busy on the border. We do not control the 1.5 km as the Feds do but we control everything else. These kids have been crammed into the same cages that Obama built….but at 10 times the rate. It is ridiculous. We have them isolated into convention centers in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Midland, and Abilene but surrounded by Texas Guard soldiers so that they cannot just walk out. 12 percent of the kids and immigrants are infected by the virus and still crammed into these areas. it is a mess we are dealing with right now.

Other than that, I think things are going well. Will be in Las Vegas in May for bowling tournament. No more blackouts there. Rangers will be playing ball this Monday in their new stadium with no restrictions….100 percent open. Schools and restaurants are 100 percent open and our numbers are dropping. So, for the next couple of weeks, we will be working in the yard when I am not at the border.

By the way, we have weapons free against the “coyotes” and “Cartels”……shoot on sight. We hope this helps the trend some.

            • Just A Citizen says:

Been meaning to ask you if you happen to have access to ammunition down there.

For a long list of “excuses/reasons” we can’t seem to get enough of anything. Let alone the popular 9mm, 7mm, .380 and 5.56 mm. Finally got three boxes of .30-06 last month. It took over a year before they got some at the store. And plain old duck loads of 12 gauge do not exist. Lots of “field loads” but most are in 3 inch, nothing in 2 3/4. Oh we finally got some .22 bricks in so picked up a couple. But you can only buy 100 rounds or 1 box at a time.

It is flippin crazy and starting to feel like a conspiracy is involved.

              • Yes, ammunition is hard to come by……9mm is hard to come by…but .45 and .40 glock is in good supply….5.56 is easy to find……plenty of duck load in steel shot……2 3/4……need something? I do trap shooting so I can get just about anything in shotgun except 10 gauge…Yes, I actually know someone who uses a 10 gauge….and his shoulder is still intact…..I think.

If you need something in particular, let me know. We also have a thriving black market down here and for the time being, gun show are not regulated……………..yet.

  24. MINNEAPOLIS, MN—”Bricks, get yer bricks here, 2 for 10, 2 for 10!” cries John Braxton, 42, as he mills through a Minneapolis crowd gathered outside a courthouse. “Fine bricks, get yer fine bricks here!”

Braxton, like dozens of other concession vendors, down on their luck after a year of low-attendance and no-attendance sports games, has come to Minneapolis to sell his wares to the crowds waiting outside Derek Chauvin’s murder trial. Instead of popcorn and cotton candy, though, he’s selling bricks, Molotov cocktails, and pitchforks. He’s turned in his Cracker Jacks for brass knuckles, his beer for bricks, and his Minnesota Twins foam fingers for foam fingers reading “Black Lives Matter.”

“Honestly, I’m gonna make a fortune,” said Braxton as he sold ten bricks to a white kid visiting from Portland for the show and riot. “These guys are gonna riot no matter what happens in the trial here, so I’m gonna make out like a bandit.”

A 17-year-old Antifa rioter then waved that he wanted two bricks, and Braxton hurled them in his direction. Unfortunately, the Antifa rioter never had a father figure in his life, and so didn’t know how to catch them and was hit square in the face.

    “Oop! Sorry, son,” Braxton said.

“Molotovs, get yer Molotovs, hottest Mollies around!” he called out as he moved on through the crowd, selling his goods in hopes of a better life.

  25. LACKLAND AFB, TX—Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has directed all branches of the military to step up diversity efforts when it comes to working dogs in canine units. For the first time, the military– which has always favored German Shepherds in the past– will admit other breeds such as Chihuahuas and Pomeranians.

“We’ve always had this narrow-minded view that the German Shepherd is the best dog for chasing down dangerous terrorists and sniffing out improvised explosive devices,” said Austin. “But why not Chihuahuas? Why not poodles? Bringing in more dog breeds will increase our diversity– which is the greatest strength any military can have.”

So far, there have been no Chihuahuas capable of taking down a 250-pound man by the arm, so the military has elected to eliminate that test altogether.

Military leaders confirmed the current plan is just to invite every breed of dog and hang out, eat doggy treats, and have a good time while taking diversity courses.

“We’re proud of this beautiful mosaic we have created here,” said one Staff Sergeant while knitting a cute sweater for Squeaker, his working dog. “This is what our military is all about!”

  26. NBC News anchor Lester Holt received praise from liberal media figures after saying reporters don’t need to hear both sides of a story before determining the “truth.”

“I think it’s become clear that fairness is overrated … the idea that we should always give two sides equal weight and merit does not reflect the world we find ourselves in,” Holt said on Tuesday night while accepting an award at the 45th Murrow Symposium.
“That the sun sets in the west is a fact. Any contrary view does not deserve our time or attention,” Holt continued. “Decisions to not give unsupported arguments equal time are not a dereliction of journalistic responsibility or some kind of agenda, in fact, it’s just the opposite.”Critics of Holt’s approach saw his comments as essentially a dog whistle to liberal reporters who see themselves as the arbiters of truth and, therefore, can cover the news from a one-sided perspective with the approval of NBC’s top anchor.

Well, this just about sums it up……

    • Just A Citizen says:

      Yes. Yes it does.

In other news, I see that at least two major corporations are trying to force Georgia into changing their recently passed election laws. Seems the WOKE have spoken and by God the R’s had better tow the line. Now one of them, Coca Cola, is speaking out for the need of Congress to act to stop these egregious voting laws. Of course these brilliant CEO’s can’t provide an actual example of what is wrong with the bill. They simply parrot the garbage being spewed by the NAACP and Democrats.

I am really wondering how this all ends. Today I think the sane will simply fade away and the WOKE will rule the world. All the while wondering why it is on fire while they try to blame those in the past for their failure.

  27. Just A Citizen says:

When it becomes so obvious they have to admit it in public.

The Democrats just love “transforming America” in their Hubris infected Righteousness.

  28. Election integrity idea: USAF NCO’s should do all the counting in swing states and areas with previous issues.

It snowed this morning, about an inch. Good start to April. 🙄

  29. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Nice 2014 piece on Congress’ right to regulate Federal Elections (not State). Surprised Google has NOT pulled it down or back burnered it!

  30. For the last week I have been going maskless in opposition to the Gestapo. Got accosted today in 2 places. I fought back by first stating that I am a scientist and am following the science. The masks are 15% efficient at best and for someone with a full beard (me) virtually useless. I have had the shots which are 95% effective hence I am 6x better protected than a mask wearer without the shots.

Of course Mathius would not agree with me. The studies comparing states with and w/o mask mandates show no statistical difference. As I said from the beginning mask are useless. That was the conclusion after the 1918 flu and by several studies since. You cannot stop a mosquito with chicken wire. The only reason we have mask mandates is that the politicians do not know how to stop this pandemic. So it is better to mandate something rather than to admit helplessness. I am very disappointed in the performance of the CDC. For an organization who’s sole purpose is to be ready for such events, their performance has been abysmal.

How many people died or were hospitalized because the dismissed the benefits of hydroxychloroquine and invermectin as early treatments? How many fewer cases would we have if they had advised people to take vitamin D3, C, and zinc? How many seniors could have been saved had we isolated them early on? How close to heard immunity would we be if we had kept the schools open?

The hubris of trying to stop an airborne pandemic.

    • Damn, T Ray……….I have lectured and lectured on using common sense in California…..PLEASE…..come to Texas….. We have everybody pissed off right now. Especially Biden and the CDC…..and I am sure Fauci, the Pretender.

      • There was a gray haired lady in the med lab listening to my comments. She took off her mask long enough to smile and nod in agreement with me. I think a few rebels could start to make a difference. People are fed up with the nonsensical restrictions.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Still NOT wearing a mask but rather the Jesse James style bandana. Feel funny doing my banking that way but what the heck. The Bandana covers your mouth and lower face, does NOT fog your glasses and is much easier to breathe through since the air comes in from below. I tie a square knot at the end and use a small leather slide I made to tighten or loosen as necessary which will not slip over the knot. Surprisingly, even on the airlines, nobody has bothered me yet!

      • I have only been accosted twice….Once in a Dairy Queen where a gentleman said…”the sign says masks recommended.”………….I politely told him I was certainly glad he could read.

The other was from a lady in a Lowe’s parking lot where she was castigating everyone, in her New England accent, for not wearing masks.

Other than that…..very few business’ are requiring masks…..most are not and since restaurants and sporting events are 100 percent….what is the use.

        • Dale A Albrecht says:

I’ve worn a mask three times. That was at the VA clinic last July.

At the DMV when renewed my license in October, but took it off the entire time I was with the State Police Officer

And on Election Day, for 5 minutes

No restaurant I’ve been in has ever required one. Usually the wait staff have dropped them also.

My grocery store says masks required. But the sign now is very small and covered up when the door opens. I’ve never worn one in the store.

I explained to the manager that back in ’75 I was buried alive in a rescue training exercise and the exercise became real.

My bank very quickly installed “Live Teller” machines. No need to go into the bank itself.

      • Thanks for reminding me. I started out with the bandana, then Amazon banned them, so I’ve been using the disposable ones even for shopping. I HATE THEM. Going back to bandana shopping again, starting now.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Do not forget, it is also a fashion statement and can be accessorized. The Colonel will remember how they were used in Viet-nam atop ones head.

  31. Border update….the Cartel is killing mothers and throwing children in the river when they do not pay……..but I am glad there is no crises.

  32. The new thing now is… distract our cameras…. They know we are watching so they drop 3 year olds over fences and drop them in an inner tube in the river….knowing we will rescue them…takes personnel away from specific areas…..HOWEVER………the guard then takes over and the Cartel does not like that.

What gets me the most is people do not understand the mentality down here. Even if there were no fences anywhere and the border is completely open…………..the same exact thing would be happening……there would be no changes.

  33. I’ve been thinking about all the Liberal ideology stuff and I can’t think of one actual thing that doesn’t hurt poor black communities. If someone can come up with one, let me know.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Boy, that is a can of worms. Was thinking last night, if we had reduced legal immigration by half and Stopped 90% of illegal immigration 20-30 years ago, how well off the black community would be now.

  34. Happy Easter SUFA!

My Aunt got her second shot yesterday, had a stroke and is supposed to get a brain bleed fixed today if she lives that long. Your body, your choice.

    • Was it the astra Zeneca? I haven’t heard of anyone in the US getting that one.

      • I’m not totally sure just yet, info is taking awhile. She did survive through surgery.

  36. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

    Happy Easter to All!

  37. Dale A Albrecht says:

In case anybody missed it. Gov Cuomo signed legislation legalizing “recreational” marijuana. Apparently you can light up a doobie anywhere, even where smoking cigarettes is prohibited.
40% of the tax revenue will be directed towards racial justice.

My neighborhood is predominantly Marine service families. There are many retirees and a few squids. I’ve asked some if their commands are requiring a reaffirmation of their oath. All have said NO. But if it comes to that, the Marines will be looking for replacements. Theyll not reenlist. So far the vaccinations are also voluntary.

The pharmacy at the grocery store is offering the vaccination. Just make an appointment.

Where my friends in NY living in the Poughkeepsie Rhinebeck area were forced to drive 1) into NYC for their shot. 2) the other had to travel clear across the State to Buffalo

Both are seniors and in the high risk category
    Great job Cuomo

  38. Just A Citizen says:

  39. Dale A Albrecht says:

I assume everyone here o Sufa finds it pretty disgusting that the NY revenue deot and the NY Office of the DOJ are bound and determined to get Trump.

The NY Revenue deot has always had Trumps State returns and never did anything for all the years before his presidency. His sons are tied in with the business and were never immune.

Tyw US IRS never had a problem pre presidency. And always had his tax returns. If anyone doubts they hadnt pawed for years looking for some egregious wrongdoing I’d be surprised and LEAK it to the mefua.

Yet these very same government agencies NEVER prosecuted one person during both the Obama and Trump administration’s over the Criminal tax evasion over the Swiss Banking scandal. They got money from the banks sure. From what I’ve read the IRS just quietly contacted the criminal tax evaders and told them to pay up or else. No media, no trials zip

  40. Now, let’s add to this…………………I watched a “for real” interview this morning on CNN (yes, i peruse the left news as well as the right)……Post Trump Derangement Syndrome. The crux of the interview was that Trump was so bad that even with him out of office and not calling the shots, people still have a mental issue with him. This was a no bullshit interview…..unbelievable.

  41. U.S.—Democrats are condemning the racist racism of Georgia’s racist election law. To show how very angry and opposed to the law they are, Democrats are refusing to read the law to find out what it actually says.

“Listen– this law was passed by Republicans,” said one Democrat leader. “That’s all you need to know to understand this bill is pure racism and a billion-trillion times worse than Jim Crow. We will not legitimize this racist Jim Crow KKK White Supremacist voter-suppression hate-law by reading it to find out what’s actually in it.”

“I haven’t read the law either, but the news told me it was racist, so that’s all I need to hear,” said local voter Caddy Shamberton, who is not a racist. “Whenever the news tells me something is racist, I will automatically hate that thing without taking any time to look at the facts myself. That’s just common sense.”

According to sources, several media figures attempted to read the bill in its entirety but collapsed on the ground in horrible agony from all the racism in it.

“Just trust us, it’s racist,” they all said.

    • If they do not read bills before they are passed and now do not read them after, can we conclude they do not know how to read? True products of the modern educational system.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

What these idiots forget is that the Republicans were the political party that made the Civil Rights and Voting Rights acts of 1964 a reality and broke the back of Jim Crow. Without the R’s the Democrats never would have passed the Bill’s including their hero Sen Robert Byrd hailed by the democrats at his death.

  42. Took a big one for the team Saturday evening at work. Had a heavy flat package drop off a cart like a guillotine onto my big toe…correction for medical term..Great Toe..resulting in 5 stitches and a broken frickin’ toe. Workman’s Comp doc says to return to work in a sit down job. Ha! That ain’t happening as far as I know. I can just barely walk! Follow up appt this morning uncovered a knarly looking foot. You better stay your damn 6 feet away or it will get ugly real quick. Ugh!

    • The people that got hurt the most were the people of Atlanta, a mostly black city. Congrats liberals, you once again prove you really don’t like them.

  43. Prosecutors are now asking the jury to effectively dismiss the findings of the only official autopsy in the case and insist, contrary to those findings, that Floyd died from asphyxia, or, lack of oxygen. Some new disclosures may make that claim more difficult for the prosecution.

Last week, special prosecutor Jerry Blackwell admitted to jurors that Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker pointed to cardiac arrest as Floyd’s cause of death. However, he insisted that the state would prove that “was … not a fatal heart event,” but asphyxiation.

Get ready to watch cities burn, this is “reasonable doubt” right from the beginning.

  44. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

So, they move the All Star game to Colorado a state with MORE restrictive voting rules while Stacy Abrams, the “real” governor of Georgia comes to NJ and praises the more restrictive voting laws of Governor Phil Murphy as being a model for all.

And you thought that “Alice through the Looking Glass” was fiction!

  45. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

    Time for a vaccination rant!

For the past two months or so, the bride, a year less than my 74 and I have been searching for a vaccination site in the Garden State. All with no result.

Like Mississippi in education, I know Phil Murphy’s NJ is next to last in vaccinating its citizens but second from the top in killing its nursing home residents.

Well today, we got the word from our local pharmacy that it JUST got its J & J first vaccine shipment but of course we had to immediately go to its website. But Lo! It had been “lost”. The web for “signing up” was MIA. We called the pharmacy and were essentially told we were nuts. After some screaming on my part and weeping on the wife’s we convinced THEM to check and Lo! We were right. After they burned up the wires to whomsoever does websites, it suddenly appeared. No doubt a “glitch” in the system. So, the bride and I are now scheduled in 48 hours.

I DO NOT BELIEVE in coincidences. Not any more, no way, no how. This past week we have heard of people far younger than us, the thirtysomethings, all without any “priority” who have been vaccinated. I smell a very big rat.

Not being Joe the computer expert, I do know what they can do and I will bet, dollars to Crispy Creme doughnuts that some little MoFo or ten has been on the internet screwing with the system and basically rigging the deck. Open appointments seem to disappear as fast as they open up.

So the little bastards out there whom I’ve said cannot take Jones or Laguna Beach let alone Bloody Omaha as their Granddads did, are so absurdly scared that they electronically cut the line.

Thank you for paying attention to my paranoia. May the Force be with you.

    • For all the grief we give CA, I have to say we had no trouble. Our medical provider called at the end of Jan. and gave us a date and time. We showed up and since the wife was in a chair, got priority w/o standing in line. The second appointment was exactly 30 days later. No issues. Others have had to schedule through CVS which was slightly more problematic but still got the job done.

  46. Today and tomorrow are the 159th anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh. I had kin in the battle. One was in the 55th IL Inf. which anchored Grant’s left flank and saved his butt. The other was in the 4th IL Cav, under Sherman.

    • Just A Citizen says:

      How you doin darlin?

      • I am hanging in there, my friend, hanging in there. My baby girl is home from the hospital recuperating. She ended up having to have a stunt put into her brain . Was diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Which is a build up of fluid in the brain and spinal cord. The operation seems to be controlling that problem. Unfortunately, the pressure of the fluid damaged the nerves in her eyes. So currently, we are waiting for the swelling in the nerves to go down to see how much sight will return. There have Been some positives in the last few days, so we are optimistic.

        • That would be Shunt.

        • Wow V, that’s a burden on your heart for sure. Glad she’s home and you’re seeing some positives. My prayer list has been full lately. You’re still on the list. Best wishes to you and the family.

        • Just A Citizen says:

Warmest thoughts and heat felt prayers coming your way.

Any ideas of what caused such a thing?

  47. I’ve been taking a break from all the political stuff, well, as much as I can. I’m at the point that there is no talking left to do, time for action. Let me know when it’s time to grab my pitch fork! I took a “promotion” at work and have been pretty busy anyway working a lot of overtime.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a link to a site I found one night browsing through YouTube. They have some pretty interesting stuff.

    Hope all is well.

  48. TALLAHASSEE, FL—In response to being caught deceptively editing a statement by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who later called them “lairs” for pushing a “fake narrative,” CBS hit back today with another bombshell.

Several photos, described by CBS as “totally real and authentic,” appear to show DeSantis clubbing baby seals with his best friend Adolf Hitler.

“We are shocked and saddened by this terrible reveal of Desantis’s past,” said correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi. “It would appear from these completely undoctored photographs, that Ron DeSantis is both a fan of clubbing baby seals and a Nazi. Please know that I am just as saddened by this news as I’m sure the rest of the country is.”

In a statement, Governor DeSantis replied: “This is not true! I love baby seals! And I’ve never met Hitler!”

60 Minutes later reported the Governor’s statement as: “This is… true! I love [clubbing] baby seals! And I’ve… met Hitler!”

The governor later thanked CBS for helping to launch his presidential campaign.

  49. We are back in business. Thanks USW!

  50. Yesterday it was guns, today it is SCOTUS. What next?

    • Oh by the way did you know that racism is a public health hazard. Just put a mask on it and it will go away.

      • Same way with guns……public health..mask up.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

This Wllinsky lady is absolutely nuts. This is her third big one. 1st it was treating Biden’s visit to CDC as if he were Chairman Mao in 1968 with fawning and kowtowing all over teh place. Then there was her crying break down at the possibility of a fourth surge, now this crap.

  51. What happened, you ask?

Well USW’s setting turned off the comments after 15 days of the current thread. He and he only could fix it, which he did. Our Administrator functions do not allow for the changes in settings like that.

    That’s it in a nutshell.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

In the 1970’s NY was a nice state. While the power and money were all concentrated in NYC, upstate, as it always had, served as a breaker on excesses through the Senate. Then, the US Supreme Court decided that what was good for the US was NOT good for the states and we went with “one man one vote” screwing up ALL the large states with large metropolitan areas. Upstate, which used to have half the population of NY State has shrunk because politicians have been able to shut down all forms of opportunity. Cuomo, despite western NY sitting on a pool of Natural gas the size of Ohio and PA combined, shut down in perpetuity, the Fracking business. His Daddy did the same on Nuclear Power when he decommissioned a 99% complete facility on Long Island, physically destroyed it and prevented the very thought of any new ones.

      • Just A Citizen says:

Why has John Boehner crawled out from under his rock?

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

He thinks it is safe! Maybe his Mamajuana habit has fortified his spine.

          • Just A Citizen says:

Signs of some hope for the future. Last night while dining with friends at a actual restaurant, my friend ordered some drink with the name Iguana in it. It was two words and as he was on my side with the bad hearing I did not hear the words precisely. So I asked him if I heard what I thought. I said, “Did you just order a White Obama?”

Now we are led to believe this is social suicide these days. But my Millenial aged waitress, taking the order, busted out laughing so hard she almost blew her mask off. She had to adjust it to recover her mouth and nose once she stopped laughing.

So I am here to give credit to Mathius’ generation, at least a few of them still have a sense of humor.

      • One man one vote screwed up CA as well. The rural counties have no say in what is going on.

I remember when they shut the Shoreham plant down. There was a lot of graft going on with the unions. Cuomo could not make the decision so they let them install fuel for a test. How stupid, since they contaminated the reactor. They could have also replaced the reactor with coal, oil or gas fired boilers and used the generators that were installed. It was a prime example of how not to make a decision.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Jeez, you remembered more than I did! I was so bloody angry at the time I could have busted a gut cursing.

Gotta take on my local town weekly. They are having fit over an attempt to revisit a gas (natural) pipeline through the state of NJ. Apparently the sponsors just won’t quit. Loaded language in the editorial about dirty, filthy, polluting, foul, republican, trumpite methane.

I would bet that 90% of the opponents have dog “children” and have no idea that the crap coming out of the backside of poochy decomposes into methane, no clue about those stacks on sewage treatment facilities or the ones on top of the landfills either. I doubt that they realize their overpriced vegetarian organic meal leftovers emit methane on decomp and that hundreds of millions of (fill in teh appropriate measurement name) are spewed out of the ocean and lakes and rivers through natural decomp either. Say, did not some African village get wiped completely out when a lake next to them burped one night?

  52. Soooo funny…..just watched an interview of a young protester in Atlanta holding a sign that read “No New Jim Crow Laws”. The interviewer asked the protester, a young white male appearing to be in his late 20’s, who Jim Crow was…and the answer was simply hilarious. “I don’t really know, but he was against voting, right?”

    It boggles the mind.

    • A new thread is posted.

This is a great example of our Union Liberal run education system. They are putting out damn idiots.
