Riot Season Is Here

  1. So it has begun.

  2. MINNEAPOLIS, MN—As the Derek Chauvin trial continued this week, the nation began bracing for the most peaceful protests so far.

“We’re getting ready for some really peaceful protests,” said one business owner as he boarded up his storefront. “We ain’t seen nothin’ yet when it comes to just how peaceful Black Lives Matter can be.”

While last summer, BLM unleashed their mostly peaceful brand of protests, they said at the end of this trial, they will be unleashing their most powerful weapon: entirely peaceful protests, involving even more peaceful bricks, Molotovs, and more peaceful deaths.

Black Lives Matter representatives announced that that they will definitely be rioting if Derek Chauvin is acquitted. They also said they would riot if he is convicted. Additionally, they said they would just be rioting no matter what so everyone should get ready.

“We will riot if Chauvin is acquitted,” said one spokesperson for the movement gathered outside the courthouse in Minneapolis. “And also, you know, if he’s convicted. Yep, we’ll still be rioting then. In fact, we’ll be rioting no matter what happens, so buckle up, America. You thought last summer was bad? Get ready for peace.”

  3. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

That shooting in Minnesota is going to have some interesting consequences. Watched the body cam footage and the classic Whoops! “Oh Shit! I shot him!” from teh senior female PO. The press was really out for blood at the conference run by the 12 year old town Mayor. Sorry for the Chief, he too is dead meat, white dead meat.

    • Another example of a young black trying to run from the cops. No, he didn’t deserve to die, but damn, when will they learn, don’t run and they have a really, really good chance of living.

  4. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

On another note, been watching re-runs of “Stargate SG 1” for the last couplie of months. I guess a late 90’s early 2000’s show. Well acted, very tongue in cheek, interesting plots and some “moral” questions raised just like Roddenberry used to do in “Star Trek”.

Now what is incredibly noticeable after watching for a while is the cooperation between the US and Russia on serious issues. Suspicion, yes, all over the place especially from the older characters but nonetheless a solid “we are in this together” premise. Remember, Putin was in charge then too.

I find it interesting simply because nothing has really changed in the real world between out two countries except for the reemergence of cold warriors and Neo-cons here. hard to fathom WHY we are so hell bent on chasing a country that poses absolutely no threat to even Latvia rather than focus on the country run by an acknowledged, accepted and legally created PRESIDENTFORLIFE in Beijing.

Here’s a guy, fully vaccinated, still wearing 2 masks in public. The mask aren’t working and it seems the vaccination is all but useless. Either the vaccine works as a vaccine should, or it’s not a vaccine at all, but a medical procedure being called a vaccine. The latter is protected under HIPPA as private. I smell a skunk.

    • gman, you are approaching this with the wrong perspective. We should be celebrating the Covid 19 virus for it’s anti-flu properties. The flu has now become a disease of the past like smallpox.

Our people losing their rights by corp. does present a problem, hard to know how to fix this without screwing up the free market.

  7. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

I see they are floating a Trump- DeSantis 2024 ticket! Interesting, was worried about Trump’s age (same as mine) and possible physical health. That solves the problem! Certainly would NOT want a Bush type succeeding a Reagan type again.

    • I think Trump should stay in the mix for the next couple of years but then back out and take the role of senior statesman. This way he can smoke out the Rinos and help find the best possible candidate to carry his activism in actually solving problems forward. DeSantis looks good now. I would also watch Pompeo. Christi is out. Gov. Noam might be a good VP pick as well as Nikki Haley. Rep. Jordan and Sen. Paul also come to mind. They will probably be running against Kamala who at this time looks to be a total failure.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Noam and Haley are wind sniffers. Don’t trust them. Noam was practically as unintelligible as Hutchinson in defending the trans gender veto.

Never count Kamallah out! She is somehow black, black like that Meghan Merkle bitch, the one who killed poor Prince Philip.

If Trump stays healthy, I do not have him out. Talked to a friend last night, my age. Smart guy , metallurgical engineer by profession, worked all over the world and is as confusing when he gets technical as you are. He believes in his heart of hearts in global warming and equally believes that Trump does not. So, the idiot votes for Biden, does not stay home mind you but votes for Biden! As a huge 2nd amendment guy and outdoorsman and great white hunter feels totally betrayed by Biden “deserting” the middle. I got to give him a lot of credit when I went ballistic, he took it like a man.

        • I know that Noam and Haley are weather vanes but sometimes it smart to take a page out of the oppositions playbook and put a minority on the ticket. In the past, the VP position was used to fill geographic holes. The bigger holes today are in identity politics.

Trump may still be healthy in 2024 but age does take its toll and does force people to slow down. Fixing the country after 4 years of Harris/Biden is going to take a lot of energy especially if the media remains so biased. It would help we we had 60 members in the Senate and a strong majority in the House. The House is possible but the Senate may not be, It all depends on how much of a failure the next 3 years are.

  8. I’m seeing some relatively normal stuff from what history has taught me. The Left, Democrats, Liberal media and others are pushing blacks to become violent in the Democrat cities. This isn’t an accident, but on purpose. The Left HATE blacks, the evidence is so apparent it can’t be ignored. I’m open to debate on this.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

You will get NO argument from me unfortunately. It does make perfect sense. If you use force it is always racism whereas if you shoot down white,. privileged, woman’s study and gay lifestyle majors from the Ivy Leagues no one will care.

    • The let is hiding behind blacks to push their agenda. As Anthony Brian Logan, a black conservative, always says…blame it on the white man.

  9. The one positive thing that Trump has proven and rooted out is the massive takeover of the left and its policies…it forced their hand into the open early. I hope people are waking up to this mess.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

It would have taken another 25 years of GRADUAL change, which we would not have noticed without him. Trump dumped us frogs into the boiling rather than simmering pot!

      • Just A Citizen says:

Well I am just going to have to call BULL SHIT on that hypothesis. Trump did nothing to reveal the LEFT that was not already revealed and in the open.

        • Well, you can call bullshit on this, if you wish, but you and I and only a few others had seen it for some time….but the number of people that I have talked to about this were CLUELESS as to what the swamp and left were doing…until the Trump Syndrome hit. You and I were politically knowledgeable…….most were not and still do not want to believe it is as bad as it is……..even to this day.

Considering what the Left has said and done so far, I think it’s logical to say that they are wanting to rid the country of black people.

Geez, I guess the Liberal overlords really love the power that they want to wield.

  12. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

J & J vaccine, SEVEN million doses given. SIX reactions! You want to tell me who is handling these statistics. Pick 7,000,000 at random and in two weeks tell me how many had a stroke all on their own?

Guess teh fabulously fake fraud Fauci does not have JJ stock.

  13. Trump negotiated a May 1 deadline to withdraw from Afghanistan. Biden says 9/11/2021. So how does the MSM play this?

  14. I love the way that the Biden Administration is saying that there is no inflation……anyone looked at prices in the last days? Bacon and beef especially. Soap…etc.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Groceries are up over 10 % since November. Lumber has increased by almost 40%. A simple 2×4 8ft long is now about $7. CDX and S1S plywood jumped $4 a sheet over night last week. That is almost a 10% jump in one night.

  15. Never, in my life time, have I ever seen such a censoring move from public and privately owned media. Never….

  16. Have a game for everyone to play……..ask anyone under the age of 60……yes, 60, who or what Jim Crow was or is….see what you get for an answer.

  17. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Having pretty much totally given up on ever bringing back the country, I am now all in favor of a 100% MINORITY police force. Everybody BUT straight white guys. Let us see what that changes..

    • We were in DC a few weeks ago, and every security guard or police officer I saw was black. I guess they are trying out your idea. I wouldn’t want to do that job right now.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

I understand the Lis Angeles police Dept is a majority of “people of colir” yet that is not the demographics if the city.

    • Dale A Albrecht says:

The Federal Review of the Watts Riors back in the early 60’s was directed at the City of Los Angeles and it’s long standing Democrat led racist policies. The leaders of Watts begged the Police to NOT put Black officers in the area. They were very liberal with the use of their nightsticks and violence. White officers showed restraint. The other practice was in pulling in and questioning suspects, theyd be booked and fingerprinted, creating a RECORD even if the “suspect” was never charged. A business would do a background check and this RECORD pops up and the minority was passed over creating a massive unemployment problem. The next election cycle Demicrat Sam Yorty tried passing himself off as a Republican. All the riots in the 64/65 season were all against long term Democrat controlled cities and strangely still are after 60 years

  18. JAC!!! I would say RUN but she doesn’t want you anyway. You’re gonna need some better neighbors or I can’t come visit.

  19. Ok…got to tell a funny to show where there is no humor left in this world…….I just got back from making a run to Office depot….was thirsty and stopped by the local McDonald’s to grab a full fledged, sugar and caffeine loaded, Dr Pepper. But was told through the speaker that I could not get a large Dr Pepper because they had no large lids. To which, I answered. “That is ok, I will take the responsibility of spillage but I still want a Dr Pepper”….to which they replied ok……(Now it gets good)…….there has been a long standing joke around Texas that failing to have Dr Pepper was a “hangin’ offense”…..sorta like the Pace Pecante ad going around “Made in New York City….get a rope” commercial.

well, I am in a rather jovial mood this day so I pull up to the window to pay for my large Dr Pepper with no lid…and casually remarked that I thought I was going to be denied a Dr Pepper and that would be a hanging offense in Texas……I did not even notice that the window person was a black person….He, of course, did not laugh. I thought it was funny….

  20. Anybody want to guess why the Knoxville school shooting isn’t in the headlines?

    • On January 6th in DC an unarmed white woman was shot and killed by a cop, no charges filed despite the whole caught on tape.

If she was black the cop would be all over the news and riots would have happened.

      • The office remains unnamed. He issued no warnings prior to discharging his weapon. Did he call for backup? He made no attempt to arrest her despite the awkward position she was in. Way too much mystery about this.

    • Actually I have not seen much about that shooting so do not know what really happened. It must not fit the narrative.

  21. LOS ANGELES, CA—BLM co-founder and “trained Marxist” Patrisse Cullors has called for defunding the police in response to police shootings. She later clarified, however, that she only supports abolishing police in all the areas where she doesn’t live.

“The police in my wealthy white area of LA can stay,” she said. “And the ones around my home in Atlanta. Also, the ones who protect my other home in Albany. I think I have a fourth house too, but I can’t remember where it is. Wherever it is, the police there can stick around as well.”

According to sources, Cullors needs all these properties for her important work, and to hide from the urban hellscapes where police are being defunded.

“I need a lot of houses. All good Marxists have a lot of houses!” said Cullors.

Police have assured Cullors that they will remain at full strength in the wealthy, majority-white neighborhoods where she lives.

Bernie Sanders reportedly condemned Cullors after finding out she now has more houses than he does.

  22. Thought some of you would be interested in this…….BLM big wig, Opal Temeti, is down here in Texas inquiring into trespass laws during protests. She was specifically warned that Texas has a very strong castle doctrine law that extends beyond the home. It extends to business’, boats, cars, private aircraft. Basically anything owned. It also applies to business buildings. The police warned her, and her following, that private property in Texas is sacrosanct. Therefore, if you decide to protest, you will have that right but this is not Seattle or Portland. Texas business and private citizens have the absolute RIGHT to protect their property using deadly and lethal force with no duty to warn you or retreat. If you go onto private property or commercial property, uninvited, you will likely be shot.

This lady was talking to the Fort Worth Police Chief and made a comment that protests are a right also, to which the Chief said, “Correct! You may do so provided you have a permit with a defined route and you stay off private property and commercial business.”

We shall see what happens……so far….no protests.

  23. In Exile…….moderation, please

  24. Now we have climate change as a reason for the surge at the borders….

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Quite funny actually. Back in the dark ages of the 1960’s in High School, studying the scientific method we were warned big time about reading something into “science” that was not there.

Now, since there is accepted science that there are climate fluctuations over the past 70 or so years why cannot we attribute to it: The Gulf War, the Iraq War. 9-11, School shootings, Anti-Asian bias, the reduction in Church attendance and anything else that has happened and “seemed” unusual in that period. How about the Kennedy assassination?

      • Well, if it isn’t climate change, it would be racism. Liberals always have some lame excuse for their failures.

    • Per the last thing I read, they are now calling climate change, formally called warming, climate emergency.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Didja ever wonder, even if WE change our entire lifestyle what effect it would have on “world” climate? How very special and so very ethnocentric these people are to think that our 330,000,000 will have some effect on a 7,500,000,000 person world!

We are 4/10ths of ONE percent of the world population.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Apologies, was up all night doing the1040 and NJ 1040, math is off this AM. 4% is correct. By the way, THANK YOU President Trump, the refund will pay for the painting,, caulking and rotted wood replacement on the house.

  25. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

The “Bull Moose” speaks! Pay attention to the parts about the French Revolution. Danton and Robespierre are running loose in our streets NOW.

  26. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

It is indeed funny that in a year where we have seen every single Police Force from Portland to Seattle, to Washington DC to Minneapolis to New York City ORDERED to stand down and give way when confronted by a mob when the Capitol Police do the same it is suddenly a “big conspiracy” or insurrection.

  27. HAMPTON FALLS, VA—The official softball team of Gracecornerstonelife Church in Hampton Falls was losing fair and square against the Mormon team last weekend. But then, they had a great idea: “rebalancing” the field by adding four of their own players to the outfield.

The team was quickly accused of “packing the field” and changing the rules in the middle of the game, but they reject these criticisms as unfounded and “maybe racist.”

“We’re not packing the field; we’re unpacking it,” said Pastor John. “We’re merely rebalancing the game and making long-overdue changes to ensure the fans have a voice. They would be really unhappy if we lose.” He gestured to the stands, where over seven fans were watching the game.

“The founding fathers of baseball never foresaw that one day we would be losing a game, against the LDS of all people,” he added. “The rules of baseball are flexible — a living document. Therefore, we should be able to change the rules in the middle of a game to our advantage.”

If the rule change goes through, the church team will be allowed to immediately appoint four outfielders to join the game to help silence the Mormons’ bats.

It may all be a moot point, however, as the Mormons have been accused of looking at seer stones to predict the opposing teams’ plays.

  28. I have thought this way for a long time about Liberals:

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

And you guys never believed it when I told you the “Stargate” was in Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado. Get ready to fight the Goa’uld.

      Pyramid shaped huh?

  29. As of this morning, there are 196,000 job offerings open in Texas and……no one working or wants to work. Jobs ranging from $12 per hour to $65 per hour and no one wants to work. Too easy to stay home.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

My friendly neighborhood Pizzeria restaurant is still pick-up only because all his service staff is on unemployment.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

That’s been the complaint of several businesses here. They cut back because they cant get their staff to come back and get off the unemployment trough.

  30. Oh no……..what are they going to say now? BLM activists are behind most of the Asian hate crimes……OOPS!!!

    • I hate being right, it gives me a God complex. I said before BLM is the black KKK and stands for black supremacy. What positive good have they done?

  31. The more I read and watch about the Covid response, the more I conclude that I was right from the very start. Masks do not work. There is no evidence in the data that masks stopped or delayed any transmission. Covid peaked early when it was novel then quieted for the summer and came back in the late fall as does the flu. Funny how it correlates with the solar cycle and vitamin D deficiency just like the flu. All our efforts to stop this have failed. We would have been better off going about normal life, taking C, D, and zinc to support our immune system.

It is not transmitted by surface contamination but strictly is airborne. So we have wasted a lot of time and money on sterilizing surfaces. Ventilation, HEPA filters, UV lights in air ducts would have been much better expenditures of money. Outdoors the wind disperses and dilutes the virus, followed by the UV in sunlight killing it in 90 sec. Beaches were unnecessarily closed and Whitmer banned people from going to their lake camps to swim and fish.

As we see from the Project Veritas’ CNN videos, the media played on our fears to denigrate Trump. Just like climate change in Michael Crichton’s book “State of Fear” ginning up fear in the public sells papers and air time. Mask are an outward sign of compliance. Masks, social distancing, closures, etc. are all just outward signs imposed by politicians who were afraid to admit they could do nothing to stop this. God help us if we every have a real crisis.

The CDC and Fauci have been a massive scientific failure. But hey, the CDC now sees guns as a serious health risk and wants to regulate them using health related rules. Is my right to own a gun now covered under HIPA? At least there are effective filters for lead projectiles flying through the air.

But as CNN says, Covid has basically run it course, time to ramp up the climate scare to keep the population in fear and buying their product.

    Mathius disagrees with this editorial.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Being RIGHT does not make you any friends. In another time, in another place, you and I would be burned at the stake as heretics.

      Hey! Still might happen.

  32. CBS edits out the gun in hand of kid before cop shots him. This is wrong.

    • I think the Crats want war for depopulation reasons. Not to mention they hate America. The US may actually get attacked under this weak loser.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Where do I start? If you paid attention to the “apology” rendered to the world by our new UN Rep the other day for our faults, you will start to understand. The guilt ridden left equates all third world countries as having been “victims” of the white western world, especially US. Therefore, the MORE repressive they are, the less guilty they are. This is a psychological problem of such magnitude that you really cannot wrap your mind around it. Machoistic may well be an apt description (Beat me harder). I’ve known several liberal young women in my life in awful relationships with men of a different race who seem to be living out some “Mandingo” fantasy and are totally unaware of it. Bruises, black eyes, and broken bones were NOT the worst of it! Our left takes this to a whole new national level.

I’ve fenced with our Colonel over Russia. To me, once they cast off Communism and gave up fully HALF their empire, I was quite willing to “partner” with them. But our Neo Libs, Neo Cons, and old cold warriors cannot give up the past (old dog new tricks?). At teh same time they are being LED yes, LED by the guys in paragraph one. Actually distracted is a better word.

I do NOT pretend to be any great tactician nor Russian historian but Russia cannot possibly think it can just roll over the Ukraine. It no longer has the power, either morally nor physically. Assuming the Ukies would just play dead is another thing that would not happen. If I were guessing, the Russian move is to finalize (by threat) the seizure of the Crimea which Historically is theirs anyway. Only a miscalculation by Khrushchev in the ’50’s and later by Gorbachev when he cut the Ukraine loose without demanding the surrender of the Crimea led to this stupidity anyway.

My, in effect, dual major of Psychology and History was for a reason. It does actually bring a whole lot of things into focus. The choice of Russian as a language was unfortunately NOT the boon I thought it might be. I am language challenged. Having to take second year Spanish three times should have been a hint. But, in addition to the language, the related cultural studies were well worth while. Assuming the Russians “think” like us or for that matter any western nation is a HUGE mistake. Their “western” heritage depending on your take either benefits or is hurt by their “eastern” heritage. I was NOT surprised when my Ancestry report showed 92% Slavic but 8% Central Asian. They are NOT conventionally predictable. Both Napoleon and Hitler made that mistake as did the Germans, English and Turks at various times.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

have I forgotten to mention the idiocy of NATO expansion?

      • Stephen, you and I only disagree with one thing….that what is left cannot be rolled over. I do disagree…I think Russia can take it in one week and not ONE SINGLE western country will say or do anything about it nor render any type of aid….including the US. Remember, I came up under the days of the Fulda Gap and the NATO defense strategy and we were worried about nothing…..absolutely nothing. As officers back then, we had to study Russian philosophy and history (which is very interesting, by the way) as part of our War College.

Putin is an old KGB Colonel….he wants the old USSR (he has publicly stated so) back but he also understands that the Crimea and Ukraine is the prize…He does not want the flea bites of old….but he DOES want that region and for reasons you alluded to….it is now his for the taking. No one will stop him.

        • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

I do NOT think they can handle a guerilla war, one that will be supplied through places like Poland. I do NOT think they want that. They want Crimea and if it is not theirs then it should be given back to its previous owners, The Turks!

A Polish friend, a Warsaw uprising teen who managed to escape to the US in time to be drafted for Korea gave me a book called “1920” about Gen Pilsudski and the Red attempt to take Poland. The Ukies, traditional enemies of Russia and Poland were given the opportunity to join the new Poland in an effort to keep the Bolshies out and chose to go it alone instead. Huge mistake not just for them but for the world. Lessons have been learned.

Catharine the Great went through an awful lot of effort to get that year round warm water port and the Russians are not dumb enough to ever give it up.

Personally I think the Ukies have enough realpolitik in their blood to understand all this but are being stupidly pressured. The Russians unfortunately, through Stalin’s forced migrations within the Soviet Union to believe it or not, “diversify” the country and make it harder for ethnic minorities to coalesce and revolt also sowed the seeds of this mess.

Let us keep our eye on the ball and that ball is several thousand miles EAST of Russia and teh Ukraine. Tom Clancy had it right. Wondered if the Neo-cons knocked him off?.

      • Dale A Albrecht says:

I’ve gotten several new friends from Russia and Ukraine through a “Small <30 foot wooden boat" group. They are far better informed than most people here in the US. Actually many would fit right into SUFA. Theyd tear Mathias apart

    • VH….it really is pretty simple……under the Obama/Biden administration, they sat around and let Russia take part of the Ukraine. Putin knows this…..Biden is a sheep and everyone in the world knows this. He is a despicable coward and will let people die.

Trump was a loose cannon. NONE, us included, did not know what he would do so, therefore, he was not challenged. Trump took on China…Biden will not. Trump took on Russia…Biden will not. Remember, every Democrat thought that Trump would push the nuclear button the minute he got his hands on it…..he did not, of course, but you know what else? No one in the world was going to challenge him because they simply did not know.

The world knows exactly what Biden, etal, will do. They have history (see Benghazi, Syria, and Africa of which all resulted in American deaths due to no response or protections)…The Russians, at this very moment, are massing their troops on the border of what is left of the Ukraine. China is massing troops for an invasion of Taiwan and control of the South China Sea shipping lanes. They both know what Biden will do…..which will be nothing at all. I would not be surprised at all to see Taiwan and Ukraine fall within two years…just before the mid term elections. It is what I would do if I were in their position. Both China and Russia are hawks. They know Biden will talk them to death but offer no response. (well, it won’t be Biden doing the talking anyway, it will be his elite handlers).

So, I stick top my definition….Biden is a despicable and wanton coward and is a puppet. Nothing more…nothing less. He is not even a speck on the bottom of Trump’s shoes. The world knows it.

  33. Brandon Scott Hole, the killer in Indianapolis was 19 and had previous suicide issues. I still can’t find a picture of him, which is odd. He was also a previous employee. Obviously, ,what mental health meds he was on (or off) will be an issue. Too bad know one was legally armed to stop him.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Pimple faced little white prick. Too bad they dropped the first part of his last name ASS Hole.

  34. The Republican congressional caucus met yesterday and decided to change their name. They are now the Washington Generals.

  36. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Somebody asked me once when I became distrustful of news, Watergate, Viet-nam? Actually before. Walter Cronkite, after the JFK assassination did an anti gun piece. Part of the show was dedicated to the availability of “destructive devices” on the market, tanks, artillery, mortars etc. This despite the fact nobody in the US had ever used anything like that in a crime. As part of Wally’s evidence he read, with great seriousness from a catalogue of such items put out by “Service Armament Corp” of Ridgefield NJ. the words were indeed frightening, “Use this German 82MM mortar to get even with your nosy neighbor!” ” A Bazooka to fire at those annoying teenagers driving by your house at 2AM with no mufflers.” The sad part, to the discredit of ‘ole Uncle Wally was it was a joke catalogue and I had one. Yes, you could in fact buy those items as static displays but it was pretty obvious they were aimed at collectors, museums and VFW halls. So, the man, known as the most trusted man in America, who brought me “You Ae There”, The 20th Century”, “Airpower” on CBS turned out to be not as honest as he would have me believe.

Back in the 1960’s our hippie friends had a bumper sticker that I actually agreed with then and even more so now. “Question Authority”. Now more than ever.

    • U.S.—After a successful 2020, media organizations have announced a cooperative effort to create at least 25% more racism in the year 2021.

“Racism is our lifeblood, it’s what we live to talk about every single day,” said CNN President Jeff Zucker. “We work diligently to find it everywhere we can– and when we can’t find it, we must create it. This year, we are redoubling our efforts to bathe the American public in racial resentment until everyone is living in despair and agrees how terrible our country is!”

“It’s an important service we provide for the people,” he continued.

Major media companies such as ABC, NBC, and CBS confirmed they will be cooperating to ensure every news story and piece of entertainment is selectively chosen and edited to hide the truth, skew reality, and tell a narrative of racism and discrimination.

“It’s the right thing to do,” said one NBC producer.

Sources confirmed that once racism has successfully caused the dismantling of America’s legal system, they will move on to climate change to dismantle America’s economic system.

    • In the early 90s during or after Gulf War I, I started editing the local MSM paper. I would read a front page article, and then reread it skipping all the adjectives and adverbs. I did this for several months and soon learned the level of bias that was the MSM news. I also noticed on the TV casualty reports that if a Republican was president it was always “two more” soldiers died today in Iraq or whatever. With respect to TV, since I only had over the air stations, no cable, I had not seen the early years of Fox news. My big exposure to it was during my daughter’s wedding when the Gulf War II was starting. We were staying in a hotel so had access to cable news. Since my wife had a nephew in the Marines in the middle of the conflict, we were watching it closely. As I flipped through the channels, the difference between Fox and the others was glaring. You could see what the MSM was omitting and how that controlled the narrative. Ever since, I have been repulsed by the MSM and their BS news.

I had been a regular watcher of 60 Minutes, until the 2004 election when it became abundantly clear that they were liars as well. I even lost faith in PBS during that period. I think part of the problem is that the MSM elites live in the coastal echo chamber. They are part of the hive and have accepted the hive mentality.

      • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Bernie Goldberg, a frequent visitor on the old Fox Bill Reilly show was the author of a great book on the subject. 28 years with CBS news. His main point was the “Coastal” elite only talk to other “Coastal” elites ergo, everybody “knows” the truth.

        I. on the other hand, having followed the Goldwater campaign, worked on the Bill Buckley campaign and having a very personal interest in the Viet-nam war am NOT so sure. NOBODY can be that dumb!,

        • And there’s O’Reily’s own book, Those Who Trespass, the first political book I ever read. Mid 90’s, fiction, but O’Reilly based it on lived experience. Set ups, backstabbing, and even the murder of GNN Chief Whitehouse Correspondent in the first chapter. I wouldn.t go anywhere near the journalism field after reading that one.

Agreed. I always questioned and asked why? Make a valid case as to why I should do as I’m told.

  37. Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes a day after he confronted rioters at the Jan. 6 insurrection, the District’s chief medical examiner has ruled.

  38. One way to gauge the impact of Covid on the country is to look at excessive deaths in 2020 over that of 2019. I have not seen any numbers that I can called confirmed. One article said the increase in deaths over 2019 was about 350K making it in line with the 400K to 450K number that is often published. On another site I found the mortality rate for the US. When I calculated out the actual deaths, I got about 100K. It then occurred to me that the Boomers are reaching their expiration date. We will see an increase in deaths as this population moves through the next 20 years. The leading edge of the Boomers are now 75. I looked at a projection of the expected death rate and was able to estimate that between 2015 and 2030, the death rate will increase about 67K/yr. After 2040 it levels off. The 2015 to 2030 period was approximately linear. So when viewing Covid mortality do not forget to discount the ever increasing natural mortality of us Boomers.

    • I have conclude that Covid is BS. Just a bad cold/flu. Why suddenly there is no flu season? last year? We are being screwed.

There is NO crisis at the border, none at all and you can stop calling it that.
Everything is just going along fine, as planned.

  40. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Left, only the Left, are pushing for violence in our cities. Fredo Cuomo made a very racist statement recently, that police reform will not happen until kids in the suburbs are killed, apparently he don’t think blacks also live in the suburbs. The Lift are the true racists, as they are trying to start a race war. They hate blacks, period. They use them like a sex toy then ignore them when they are finished. They control their population by keeping them ignorant in the big cities so that crime, drugs, gang wars and abortion can do the job. They want to defund the cops, not because of the few killings of unarmed black men, but so they can kill each other at a higher rate. The Left thinks blacks are stupid, lazy and are incapable of survival without them. They are still in love with Jim Crow laws that they made happen. Nothing about the Left have changed in 200 plus years.

  41. Floyd case verdict will be at 4:30.

    • Any guesses? After OJ and the Rodney King trial, who knows what will happen.

    • with all the publicity…who knows. Probably scared the jurors who will be followed home if anything other than murder.

      • The medias have him convicted long ago. My guess a conviction which will be thrown out on appeal and a new trial having to take place. But who knows, stranger things have happened.

  42. How can you be guilty of 2nd and 3rd murder and manslaughter when there is only one corpse?

    • Given the evidence of a high level of fentanyl in Floyd’s system, I would like to know how the jury got around the reasonable doubt issue.

  43. Stephen K. Trynosky says:

Something to watch (if you can find it).

I heard a report today, a single report that Elon Musk, darling of the greenies, said California CANNOT handle the requirements of having a majority of electric vehicles in its mix. The deliberate shut down of all its fossil and nuclear power generation in the near future will guarantee the failure.

See if it is confirmed anywhere or just spiked.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

And another from the former head of Obama’s energy bureau that the number of days when the temperature exceeded historic highs has NOT changed in the last century. The number of record cold days has.

So a mischievous gremlin or elf in the climate science business (think a Fauci like being or Gollum from Lord of the rings , same difference) who has a statistics degree can manipulate things to make it look different than it is.

      • If you follow Tony Heller you will see how NASA and NOAA have altered the temperature records. He pulls up published data from the past and overlays the current equivalent. They have suppressed the temperatures from the early 20th century and enhanced those in the later years. Looking at the uncorrected temperature readings (which include the well known heat island effect from encroaching urbanization of the weather stations) the decade of the 1930s remains the hottest decade in the last 150 years. We were hot in 1930s and 1940s, things cooled in the 1960s and 1970s and started warming up again in the 1980s only to plateau in 2000.

The best estimate I have seen is that we will cool for the next 20 years as we go through a solar minimum. So the whole global warming thing should start to fall apart but the damage may be already done. Once the greenies get a policy in place it takes a nuke to dislodge it. I recommend buying shares in North Face.

    • I would not disagree with Musk. CA is on the path to eliminate all fossil fuels and nuclear. Our grid is already marginal and cannot handle a significant increase in energy for transportation. Think about how much money and how many decades it took to build the current power generation and grid system. How many millions of miles of copper cable are involved? My low guess is we will need a 20% increase in grid capacity over the next 15 years in addition to the normal growth. Solar and wind are unreliable so some form of back up generation is required. Think about our investments in tankers, pipelines, refineries and gas stations. It would be one thing if electric cars were a disruptive technology that was cheaper and better than petroleum based vehicles. However, they are not. They are being force fed to the public. And all of this to solve a problem which first is not a problem and second, this solution will not solve.

Is a real race war coming?

    • We got six inches here and the temperature fell to 23 last night. I had to fire up the wood stove again. It’s supposed to be in the low 20’s again tonight. I was hoping we were done with this cold weather nonsense. oh well….global warming at it’s finest!

As far as the race war, who knows. Some people are saying a civil war is inevitable. I say lets do it and get it over with. The left vs the right, winner take all. I’m ready to get back to a normal life and would like this shit cleaned up for my grandchildren.

The sad reality is that this country will have to live under tyranny for several decades before any real change is made.

  47. The study concludes (emphasis added):

The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

  51. For those talking heads that claim the shooting in Columbus was unnecessary, racism, etc., they should be asked what they would want the police to do if the girl in pink were their daughter.

    • I have to give the cop in Columbus credit for not hitting the girl in pink. Good shoting.

      • shooting

      • And we have yet another shooting in NC. Pretty soon we won’t see cops anywhere, they’ll just come to clean up the mess and file a report. Violence is growing by the day. Glad I’m far away from the city.

  52. I am so glad Biden is president and we are getting back to normal. Missiles are flying again in the ME, our borders are open and accepting all comers, and we are on the verge of a domestic race war. Glory hallelujah.

The Liberal media may as well stop hiding it and just say they want riots, mayhem and violence.

  54. Just A Citizen says:

So by the NEW STANDARD established by the mob, it appears that virtually every arrest by a police officer involves that officer committing a “felony”.

The fact that the prosecution had to twist in the wind to justify Second degree murder should have been grounds for Not Guilty.

    • Just A Citizen says:

Maybe the mother should be jailed as well. She did after all contribute to the dead girls outcome.

This is why we have problems. Parents, and I do not distinguish by color/race, have become far to complicit in their children’s misbehavior. The justify or rationalize everything. Loss of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

      • My perspective is quite simple. Too many blacks do not know how to act in a civil society.

Greta Thunberg is an alien. The Left are trying to destroy this country from within. We are heading for war, within and without.

If I were to lead the next Civil War, the Liberal media would be the first victims, Social Media platforms would be next. Then cities would be isolated and all deliveries would be stopped. Travel in and out would be made impossible via roads, train etc. Food drops would be allowed. I’ll stop there, it’s a good start.

  55. Just A Citizen says:

Let me suggest that when your ENTIRE defense rests on the existence of God you have lost the argument.

    • Stephen K. Trynosky says:

I dunno, maybe it is my take on theology but when people expect God to intervene, it leaves me cold. I am always reminded that I was taught, at an early age, “the Lord helps those who help themselves” which, if you really think about it is a very DEEP expression indicating you are given the tools to make the right decisions and to succeed but you have teh “free will” to choose to do so or not.

Where the author is correct but oversteps is in attributing that the rights we have are fundamental to us either through God, nature’s God, or our own humanity, the non-animal kind. He would be wiser to concentrate on how the STATE would deny us those rights a position becoming more and more acceptable to the general population.

Back around 1968, when I first read Heinlein’s “Stranger in a Strange Land”, I spent weeks analyzing one of the catchphrases, “Thou art God”. Now some friends thought this heretical. Others of the atheist variety thought it an affirmation of their beliefs, I thought back to that founder phrase again, “We are endowed by our Creator”. We are God, we are a part of God, we are created by God, we have an intellect, we have a soul. One way or another, we are part of the very big picture behind this universe whatever in the hell it may be. We are NOT monkeys, whales, milk cows nor frogs.

Our laws in PA would have permitted me to shoot the girl with the knife.

  57. RENTON, WA—In a bold move for inclusivity, Wizards of the Coast announced today that all copies of the Dungeons & Dragons starter set will include a special D100 for determining your character’s gender.

“Not sure if your Half-Orc Paladin is a demiboy or agender? Just roll this handy new die,” said a WOTC rep. “It makes character creation fast, fun, and streamlined. And don’t worry — if you don’t like your gender, just roll it again, no questions asked. In fact, you can do that at any point during the game without even consulting your DM. Change at any time.”

“See, when you’re playing a game that was designed for players to go raid dungeons, get loot, and kill dragons, the important thing is that you spend 14 hours trying to determine your character’s sexuality, gender, sex, and political positions,” he continued. “That’s what made this hobby so popular: screeching leftists on Tumblr, and we have to cater to these hardcore fans.”

A revised copy of the Player Handbook contains rules for using the die. All players must select one of the hundred genders upon creating their character. “Men” and “women” are, of course, not included out of sensitivity to non-binary folk. Any PC that refers to another PC as the wrong gender will instantly be killed by a falling meteor. Then, the player controlling that character is subject to cancelation in the real world.

Wizards also confirmed that the sixth edition of Dungeons & Dragons will include a D1000 for selecting your character’s pronouns.

Now for a little insight for those from Terra Linda:

    • #10 is the best. Needs to be practiced in the country and right down to the ghettos. I listened on SUFA for two years before I spoke up and I still prefer to listen. I think Black Flag gets a pass on this one though.

I found Jimmy Houston on YouTube recently. Once I got over my flashbacks of seeing him on TV back in the day, I don’t miss an episode. Watching them has helped my mental health alot lately. He has plenty of fishing still, but he shows a whole lotta life on his ranch too. One of his personal bi annual chores is picking up trash on the 1+ mile dirt road leading to his ranch. He took the camera along while he picked up trash on 1 side of the road. The entire bed of his mule was full…from just one side of the road! And he’s way out back in the country. Side note: Best wishes to his wife Chris who suffered a massive brain aneurism the day after Easter. She’s holding it down in a rehab now and will probably remain there for a couple more months. I’m not saying he’s lost without her, but he wears his heart on his sleeve about it. My kind of man.

My “annual” comment on URTH day!

Today I believe is EARTH DAY. I remember the very first EARTH DAY very well. I was heading south on 5th Avenue in NYC at about 3PM in the afternoon. A group of EARTH DAY advocates decided to block all traffic in protest at 14th Street. I sat in traffic, engine running, burning leaded gas for over two hours. Taught me everything I needed to know about the intellectual capabilities of those supporting EARTH DAY.

  61. U.S.—Democrats have stood firm on their core values for many decades, from being for diversity and racial justice and killing as many babies as possible. But they’re finally changing their tune after unborn babies started wielding knives in a threatening manner, calling the babies “precious little innocents” and demanding that nobody kill them, even though they looked pretty dangerous on an ultrasound.

Unborn babies got the idea to wield the knives after many liberals defended the actions of a girl who recently tried to stab another girl and was shot by police. So far, the unborn say, nearly 100% of liberals have changed their mind on abortion and rallied to their cause.

“Stop killing our babies!” chanted one protester outside a Planned Parenthood. “This precious little life holding a knife is clearly an innocent bystander and should not be killed. We used to think these were just clumps of cells, but once we saw the ultrasound and the baby tried to stab us, we realized they were actually lives worth defending. No one should take the life of one of our knife-wielding babies.”

At publishing time, LeBron James had tweeted a picture of an abortion doctor with the ominous caption “YOU’RE NEXT.”

You got it! Funny, on FB there was a birthday piece about Will Geer, actor, Grandpa Walton which was quite open about his Communist affiliations and being blacklisted for refusing to testify at HUAC. I always like to comment as follows ….. “I wonder if Will had been a member of the German American Bund in the 1930’s if Hollywood, forty years later, would have hailed him and rewarded him with an Emmy?”

Funny how Commies with a body count 1,000% better than the Krauts get a free pass.

The man consults his portable GPS and replies, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.
She rolls her eyes and says, “You must be a Republican!”
“I am,” replies the man. “How did you know?”
“Well,” answers the balloonist, “everything you tell me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’re not much help to me.”
The man smiles and responds, “You must be a Democrat.”
“I am, replies the balloonist. “How did you know?”
“Well,” says the man, “You don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You’ve risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and now you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it’s my fault.”

We so often criticize without being critical (thinkers).

As the temps were rising before the cooling, and the cooling is now dominating, what happens when the cooling is over?

      • It all depends on the true relationship between atmospheric CO2 concentration and the climate. Historically, CO2 has not been a major factor. We have and levels exceeding 4000 ppm and had a lush green earth. So the question remains is CO2 a major factor in climate or a minor one.

As the cooling occurs, the oceans cool thus increasing their capacity to absorb CO2 which then gets converted to limestone. So CO2 levels ill come down. But we will be emitting more to keep warm since we will need all the sources of energy we can find to get through the mini ice age. Volcanic activity may also increase so some earthbound CO2 may be released. Ultimately I have now idea how we will come out of this.

Historically, the Little Ice Age lasted for a couple of hundred years and was not officially over until 1850. My ancestors left the Palatinate in SW Germany in 1709. The population there had been devastated by annual crop failures due to the cold weather. They were also in the path of the Thirty Years War. The Little Ice Age was a terrible time in Europe. It is reflected over here in our telling of the suffering at Valley Forge. The earth had billions fewer mouths to feed in 1700. The serious question is will this minimum bring with it serious crop failures hence mass starvation. One should ask how we want to spend our resources over the next decade. Do we stockpile food and encourage all forms of energy or do we continue to destroy fossil fuels facilities and become dependent of unreliable sources such as wind and solar?
