In one of the last ones I followed the links which supposedly showed they were in a terrible surge which would be their undoing. Instead the data showed the surge as much smaller than the 2020 Surges. Liars and their lying data. Anyway, enjoy this short read.     I believe that the R strategy of just sitting on the sidelines and letting the Dems dominate the news cycle over the budgets, debt, etc is a strategic mistake. Sure you don’t have to vote for stuff. But you should be dominating the new with the R ALTERNATIVES and/or DEMANDS.

    Like, OK Chucky, we will sign your debt ceiling bill if the Dems KILL the omnibus budget bill. We are willing to look at the contents of that bill then on a piece by piece basis. One program proposal at a time.

    They should be RIPPING anyone negotiating dollar amounts as some criteria of support and pointing out it is the programs and policies which need evaluated, not the total bill at this point.

      Yes I believe so, because it is more important to OBEY than to save lives. You can never convince me that the dolts in NY, Ct, NJ and PA were NOT aware that sending positive patients into nursing homes would be a disaster yet they “obeyed” their less than bright leaders. Obedience is paramount!

      OK, time for a little Sciency common sense.

      For those saying the vaccines do not help reduce spread. Well that depends on how they work. Namely, do they reduce the viral load in those infected? It seems that viral load is the common variable most associated with spreading the damn disease. So if no vaccine means you get greater load then you are more likely to cause spread. IF, and I STRESS IF, you don’t behave properly and quarantine yourself while sick.

      Two Island nations touted for their great responses, New Zealand and Iceland, have openly said that Herd Immunity is not doing what was expected and they are giving up on the strategy. The future will be focused on reducing deaths, as in treating those who get sick. These two countries have among the highest vaccination rates in the world.

      Now for the really fun thinking. If the vaccines do reduce spread by reducing viral load, and of course reduce the seriously ill and death rates, then why is the latest surge of covid cases as high or higher than last year when we had no vaccine. As the number of vaccinated has risen since February the surge in new cases has become worse. The media and Zombies scream about the unvaccinated they forget that back in January we were almost all unvaccinated. So if the number vaccinated keeps rising but the number infected keeps climbing to new highs then how can you claim the vaccine is doing what it was claimed it would do by the Tyrants in charge?

      • Maybe people who are vaccinated are more likely to spread the virus because they don’t get as sick and don’t isolate or think that it’s something besides covid because they are vaccinated? Who knows? We’re all just guessing.

        JAC – I suppose you’d have to consider the effect of other measures to reduce spread – namely…..government/institution mandated lockdown, distancing, self-imposed lockdown/distancing and a lot more hand washing/sanitizing than we’ve ever done. Was there a race condition of exiting lockdown and vaccination?

          There has been no correlation shown between rate of spread or total spread and degree of lock down or even masks for that matter.

          Masks are the most interesting to me. At the level of studying individuals masks should reduce spread and provide some level of protection. But at the meta data level, that is society, they have little to no affect. The reason is obvious to me. Not the right kind of masks and people not wearing them properly.

          The impact of actual “lockdowns” is obvious. Isolate everyone and infection drops. Then when they are lifted it goes back up. But nobody is addressing the health issues linked to lockdowns. The economic impacts are obvious.

        • I don’t see anything the Gov’t has done that helped anything. Masks don’t work, except the N95. Lockdowns were stupid. We would have been better off if the Gov’t stayed out of it, but assholes like Fauci were screaming the sky was falling.

          • It all started with a flawed computer program that projected 2.5M deaths in the US plus over crowding in Italian hospitals. The ensuing panic invited the government to step in. Not knowing what to do despite supposedly preparing for such a pandemic for years, we were told that this was new and we had to research the spread and solutions. So old concepts got tossed and we started from scratch even though the spread mechanisms for respiratory viruses were well known. For decades, we knew masks did not work for flu and colds. But not knowing what else to do and it being a visible sign of compliance, it was mandated. So much for following the science. The physical distancing was OK but it was known from the top that 6′ was just pulled out of their butts. We did not go to engineering solutions such as increased air exchanges with outside air and using HEPA filters and UV lights to sterilize the recycled air. It was known early on that the virus died in 90s in sunlight plus any wind would dilute the particles and disperse them. But they insisted on masks even outdoors and closed beaches and such. Again this was a political show to demonstrate that they were doing something besides just flailing in the breeze.

            One of the early contributors was TDS. Anything Trump said had to be wrong. So all those claiming to be following the science were in fact following the politics. Woe be to any Dem politician who used the emergency beds Trump set up, instead they shipped the ill to nursing homes. I applaud Trump’s operation Warp Speed. It was a valiant effort. Unfortunately the mRNA vaccine has proven to be ineffective or only partially effective. Trump did demonstrate the government could move mountains when coerced to do so. The unfortunate thing is that TDS and the rules for emergency use of a vaccine conflicted with the HCQ and ivermectin findings hence the medical powers squelched their use. A more confident or better advised Trump might have circumvented this by insisting on open debate and trials but alas the deck was stacked against him by the D’s, MSM and Tech giants.

            I am deeply disappointed by the reactions of top level scientists. It appears that many were corrupt including Faucci, his friends in NY who funded Wuhan, big pharma and others. But other scientists were also silenced or self- censored. This is not good for society in the long run. We could have and could now save thousands with early intervention using HCQ, ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies. The vaccine is a proven dud as its only impact may be the lessening of the severity of the disease once contracted. My brother and his wife were both vaccinated, both tested positive, he was asymptomatic, and she died after a month in the hospital. The disease impacts people differently, the delta variant is more communicable but less deadly. Hence it is hard to determine if the variant or the vaccine is the difference in today’s infections.

            In all I am ashamed of the scientists running this show. The politicians are rats and always have been but it is our job to control them. Instead we let them control us so the shame is on us. I am also disgusted with the MSM for all their lies and misinformation. One problem that we must fix is the big tech censorship. Our freedoms will be lost if this is allowed to continue.

              Sure Italian hospitals were overwhelmed. In recent years theyve closed over 2500 due to increased and unaffordable costs imposed by the EU. And now they’re firing doctors and medical staff who are resisting and talking out of class.

            • Is asymptomatic normal in these types of viruses? They pushed that at the beginning when they said they were stupid on the virus, which, I think was BS. they knew all about it, they invented it.

          • During my recent trip back to the Midwest, I tried to wear an N95. Lasted about 15 minutes. My respiration rate was up, there was too much pressure drop, I was rebreathing warm air and felt generally bad. So I ripped it off and went back to a common surgical mask. I had these problems even with a full beard (leakage).

        • While Fauci may have thought he could outsmart nature by creating viruses that he could then prevent or cure, I firmly think the Chinese did not have such altruistic goals. Why else would they be patenting a vaccine for a laboratory virus that would never see the light of day unless there was the possibility. I do think its release was accidental as even they were caught off guard. The recent revelation that they ordered PCR tests before the public knowledge of infections shows they knew what was coming.

          In any case it has worked out to the advantage of the Chinese. It got Trump out of office and their puppet in. Taiwan will be the ultimate test.

  12. The Cartels are now upset that the Guard is on the border….ARMED with live ammunition. They try to provoke us every night into shooting so the media will pick up on it……..the media is not allowed to go on patrols….

    The Cartels have invited American media to go with them…..and are firing tracers across the border to invoke a response. So far, none of the fire is directed at actual patrols or Guardsmen (who have orders to fire back if attacked.)

    So far, CNN and MSNBC have sent media into Mexico at the invite of the cartels……this is what we are fighting here. The cartels are having to shift their crossings to Arizona and California….and they do not like that.

    Interesting thing, one of the Post Civil War amendments prohibits the seating of a Congressman, Senator or appointment of a Military Officer who has been in “insurrection” against the United States.

    Now you say you wonder why Nancy and Adam and Chuck have been pushing the insurrection narrative so hard for the January 6th riot? Now you say you wonder why they are subpoenaing Republican Congressmen who attended Trump’s rally on the Mall?

So, some smart assed rebel lawyers pulled a fast one and caused some Yankee smart assed lawyers to counter it and cause unforeseen trouble a century and a half later. .

    SEN. RON JOHNSON: We do not have an FDA–approved vaccine being administered in the U.S. The FDA played a bait and switch. They approved the Comirnaty version of Pfizer drugs. It’s not available in the U.S. They even admit it. I sent them a letter three days later going “What are you doing?” What they did is they extended the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer drug vaccine that’s available in the U.S., here that’s more than 30 days later, they haven’t asked that very simple question. If you’re saying that the Pfizer drug is the same as the Comirnaty, why didn’t you provide FDA approval on that? So, there’s not an FDA-approved drug and, of course, they announced it so they could push through these mandates so that people actually think, “Oh, OK now these things are FDA approved.” They are not and again, maybe they should be, but the FDA isn’t telling me why.

    • Their solution out here is rationing. We will soon be allowed to use only 55 gal/d per person. Since I have fruit trees, I exceed that limit significantly. We use close to that in the winter. Today we are under a wind alert so the power could go off at any time. If gas powered generators are outlawed, then how are we to get through frequent power shutdowns from insufficient supply to high winds and thus fire danger? Next will be charcoal grills. I suspect they will also come after my smog free 50 year old cars and wood stove. Just what is a comrade supposed to do?

      The irony of the Greenie/Lefty ideas on landscaping is that reducing green lawns, parks and water loving trees increases the temperatures of the area. Higher temps drive demand for more AC. There are also serious public health issues tied to hotter microclimates.

        Nobody waters here. Everything stays nice and lush on it’s own.

            I’m talking below freezing temperatures. Like -40 etc. I relocated southward 26 years ago when it snowed 9 inches on Labor Day on the coast of Maine.
            I’ll still wear shorts into the 30’s here. Those days are rare though. This year we only had a few days reach the 90’s. Nights were low 70’s into the 60’s. But I will concede humidity.. you do not wear a T-shirt. You’ll never get it off. Columbia button down shirts with the mesh inside rule.
            Digging out of drifts of snow in the winter is not my favorite pastime. Did that for to many years. I much prefer visiting the snow when the urge hits then go home to temperate climates.

            I actually had my windows and sliding doors open since early spring. The only time I’d shut them was when a driving rainstorm would go through. A few times closed to run the AC as a dehumidifier about 15-30 minutes.. hence a $47-$50 electic utility bill. As much as I think about relocating back to the mountains just west of the Shenandoah Valley a beautiful area. Impossible to commute and wireless communication is DOA land and property is CHEAP.. kids are moving are the bright city lights. Instead of raising your own food. The nearest GOOD supermarkets and ability to buy alchohol instead of making your own was a treacherous drive. R/T was 120 miles. I usually would do an over night shopping trip.

    Two fridays ago we had a police stand off, hostages and shooting in the neighborhood. I went to close down my garage tonight and everyone had blue lights lit in all their outdoor fixtures.

    The officer shot is paralyzed, the hostages rescued safely, which included children and two officers trapped inside protecting the children. The drugged out shooter is held on a $2 million bond.

  25. Everyone that I know personally who have had covid are still alive. As I mention last Easter, my Aunt passed away after having a stroke(s) the day she got the J&J vax. She was a healthy 62 year old nurse who had just retired to spend time with grandkids.

    The mandates are nuts.

      I only knew one person to pass away from Covid. The last I saw the person was 51 years ago. Active, surfed every day in hawaii. His Father 95, had had covid, no problem. His older brother 69, had had covid again no problem.
      The virus was diagnosed as the flu. By the time people realized it was covid it was to late.

      Only a couple people I know have gotten the vaccine. The rest forget about it.

      • Just buried my sister-in-law a few days ago. She and my brother both had the shots. Both tested positive both have medical problems. He had no symptoms, she spent a month in the hospital mostly on O2 and about half the time in the ICU. When she first went to the ER with breathing problems, they sent her home. Severe restrictions on family visits in the hospital. No one else in the family contracted the disease despite close contact. Too bad, she was a really nice person.

          Remdesivir was shown to cause renal failure, multiple-organ-dysfunction syndrome, and septic shock.

          This pfizer drug was standard to use in the ICU for Covid patients. The physicians were pumping this into patients.

    It is interesting how the debate on abortion “rights” is hearting up. First we have the Supremes more or les supporting Texas law now we have the Supremes seeming to do the same for Tennessee.

    I am of the opinion and always have been that the place to stop pregnancy is BEFORE you are pregnant. Stats seem to show that a majority of abortions are, God help us, used as a form of birth control.

    I have no one size fits all opinion on the subject since I know someone who had one because she was raped and know a couple, a well off couple mind you, who had one because the child was the wrong sex. “Ya see”, as the husband explained to me, “It was a girl, and we already had one of those”.

    • Part of the problem is that CA banned diesel engines made before 2010 for pollution reasons. (The study that CARB generated was proven to be fake and done by a fake PhD but this did not stop the regulation.) So, many trucks from other states cannot operate in the state. Hence CA based newer tractors have to pick up the trailer and take it to the state line where it is transferred to another tractor. Also AB5, the gig industry law (anti Uber law) meant that drivers have to be employees of the trucking company and not owner operators. Thus the independents are shut out. Furthermore truckers can only be on duty for 14 straight hours and the wait time at LA is 10 hours. Thus leaving them only 4 hours of loading and driving time. The lucrative unemployment benefits and union rules also come into play; hence, this is a crisis created by government. Like all such problems, government will not fix the over-regulation issues but will just heap more regulations on or just throw more money at it and not solve the problem.

Corporations, school boards, and government entities that mandate the jab should be responsible for any consequences resulting from that jab. If the employee has a negative reaction, they should be responsible for all medical expenses plus continuation of salary during the recovery. If disability results, they are responsible for supplying long term care and financial support. If death results, then they assume financial responsibility for the family.

    Today I came across a tidbit about the CIA and Libya. I did some follow up research on the relationship from the time Gaddafi seized power and his demise.

    How much is hidden by our government and the media from us is not surprising to me based on my direct knowledge from 1979 and Iran. If commonly known we’d shut that agency down.
