Now we have the DOJ prosecuting a pro-life man for pushing someone down near an abortion clinic. The FBI is used in an early morning raid with guns drawn to intimidate him, his wife and children. All for a crime which the State of Pennsylvania found to NOT EXIST. Yet the Fed’s are trying to send this guy to prison because he pushed someone trying to get into a clinic.
But, the charges are tied to a law which makes it a crime to prevent access DUE to the person’s desire to gain access. The reason the case was dropped, according to some reports, is that the man was pushed for calling the man’s son names and getting into his personal space. The guy who got pushed was the aggressor.
When it comes to the Federal Govt these days that doesn’t seem to matter. The following article from American Thinker summarizes the situation so no need to expound here.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/09/did_the_fbi_finally_go_too_far.html
We also have a report of an FBI whistle blower pointing out the ABUSES of the DOJ and FBI in going after people who were in the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. As reported by Red State here:
One really has to wonder whether “Justice” will ever be regained when the nations law enforcement agencies seem to have gone off the rails. So far in fact their actions are taking on the air of outright political partisanship.
I am reading commentary this AM on what First Lady Biden was wearing in India recently. This is not the first time her fashion sense has been attacked.
Ya’ll may recall how the media and hacks did the same to Mrs. Trump.
Maybe we could all agree on one thing. That is that it is a statement of how pitiful some people have become. To think that they spend take time away from their valuable life span to criticize what others are wearing. And why? Only because they belong to the OTHER PARTY.
Pitiful, just absolutely pitiful.
I can accuse you of being a tyrant here just as easily as there!
Y’aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!
True, but it will be easier to find here.
Well the hits just keep coming:
https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/09/26/fbi-caught-in-another-major-corruption-scandal-after-misleading-a-judge-n633007
There are many people starting to call for abolishing the FBI. Of course it is the DOJ that stands behind all this corruption and abuse of power.
So if elected POTUS, should I push for abolishing the FBI and DOJ?
Or should I just FIRE everyone that I can possibly fire as POTUS?
You get to have a vote on this. Not that I will follow your advice, but it is welcomed. 🙂
Your reasoning is, of course, completely muddled. But you have nonetheless hit upon the solution.
—-
I do wonder where these calls to abolish the FBI and DOJ were when they were announcing investigations into Mrs. Clinton a week before the election…
I guess the tide is beginning to change in Europe with the trend going to the center if not center right. The Euro dollar is only worth 96 cents, the pound sterling is only worth 1.07 and falling. Italy seems to be going HARD right, England has moved to center/center right, Germany is moving more right, Poland is moving center to center right. Spain is talking about economic reform and dropping its expensive social programs…..
Interesting times.
Italy is going fascist because that worked out so well in the past. 🙂
Yes, the wealth in the world seeks to protect it’s coin and property … at the rest of the worlds’ expense. Bring on the nukes and get it over with already.
On alternate electors: In the disputed election of 1876, 4 states had double slates of electors. In 1960, HI had two slates but eventually withdrew one of them. In 2016, 10 electors were faithless and voted for someone other than the states’ winner.
In 1960, Nixon won the vote in the initial count and the Nixonian electors were selected. Upon RECOUNT, Kennedy was determined the winner. The Kennedy electors were then chosen to replace the Nixonian ones.
Nixon, who presided over his own (losing) count, by the way, accepted the replacement slate at the request of the governor of Hawaii.
The two are similar in some regards, but hardly analogous.
Where did he say they were analgous?
The issue is people like Charlie claiming that “fake electors” was some kind of first time thing perpetrated by Trump. As I posted weeks ago, it was not a new idea. And because it happened before there were people in the Trump camp that thought it possible.
They either did not know or ignored the various changes to State Laws and some Federal Laws which prevent this strategy from working.
Did any of those attempt to certify them? If so, did they use a crowd of mutants to attack the capitol to stop the electoral process? Did they threaten to hang the VP if he didn’t reject the actual certifications? If not, why bring this BS up? I mean, I know why you do, but talk about reaching, brother. 🙂
Yes, they did try to certify them. I recall that on at least one occasion Congress voted to ignore the “alternate slate of electors”. I also recall this happened after the Governor of said State sent a letter stating which slate was “proper”.
It comes up because people like you have been acting as though this tactic was invented by the Trump “crew”.
Mathius, you keep using the term petty tyrant. Please post explicit examples. I see far more tyrannical behavior from the left than I have ever seen from the right.
More tyrannical than leading chants about locking up your political opponents?
More tyrannical than attempting a coup the hold on to power after the voters kick you out?
No, I don’t think I’ll play this game. Maybe Charlie has the energy for it.
“No, I don’t think I’ll play this game. Maybe Charlie has the energy for it.”
I don’t, but maybe T-man, et al, will watch the hearing on Wednesday afternoon and get some of the picture. By the way, I wouldn’t call him a petty tyrant. I’d say a pathetically incompetent tyrant who tried something way over his head/too big to accomplish. I’ll bet he wishes he could “think” that one away. 🙂

Watch the video.
Watch this video. Plain speaking. “What are you gonna do about it?” Perfect.
Real tyranny:
Hillary: openly defies the FOIA law, congressional subpoena, and the laws governing confidential information. Destroyed evidence. Did Obama send or receive emails for her private server? Server was hacked by one or more foreign powers. Hillary was not subject to a SWAT raid. The Clinton Foundation is another can of worms.
Holder: Defying congressional subpoena, found in contempt of Congress.
Lois Lerner: Targeted Tea Party and other Republican groups.
John Brennan: Lied to Congress.
Clapper: Lied to Congress.
Comey: Lied to Congress, leaked confidential information, politically targeted Trump and his allies.
Andrew McCabe: Targeted Trump and his allies, signed the FISA warrant against Carter Page. (Note to Mathius: When Trump claimed in Jan. 2017 that he was spied upon, you discounted the claim for lack of evidence. It was counted as one of the many Trump lies. You were wrong.)
Mueller: Knew almost immediately the Steele Dossier was a lie but proceeded for two years to investigate the lie.
Adam Schiff: Lie, lie and lie some more.
FISA warrant: Based upon a lie but renewed 3 times despite knowing it was a lie. It was an “authorized” means to spy on the Trump campaign. Was Obama involved, did he see any of the transcripts?
Flynn case: A definite case of entrapment to remove him from line command in the intelligence community.
Manafort: A political reprobate but his prosecution had nothing to do with Trump’s campaign other than guilt by association. Panetta was just as guilty as he was but had the protection of the D letter.
George Papadopoulos: Another case of entrapment and false prosecution.
Impeachment One: Political BS, should have ended with the release of the transcript. Biden was 10x more guilty of using public funds to blackmail a foreign government and he admitted it.
Hunter Biden: The labtop should have been sufficient evidence to indict Hunter and Joe for influence peddling and malfeasance in office plus a host of other crimes prior to the 2020 election. The FBI suppressed the story by warning the tech giants it was Russian disinfo. Former CIA and other intelligence officers lied to the press. During the first impeachment the FBI remained silent despite having conclusive evidence that would have vindicated Trump’s request for evidence of Hunter’s and Joe’s guilt. Hunter was not subject to SWAT raid.
These are just things I can list off the top of my head. Do I have to go into the mountain of lies associated with Covid, the lockdowns, and the government sponsored censorship? Then I could follow up with all the BS about global warming and the dictates coming from the bureaucracy rather than from Congress or the legislatures.
DPM
You should not play, because your not very good at it. Here is the definition of tyranny. I don’t see “leading chants” or even attempting a “Coup”, should one ever be attempted. Which does make since because a Coup is an attempt to OVERTHROW a Govt, but it is the Govt which is Tyrannical.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/tyranny
Anita,
The pattern is quite clear. Demonstrably so.
An open mind is not a suicide pact, that I must spend my life deeply pondering the unending firehose of bullshit that sallies forth from his slackjawed maw.
That you fail to realize he is a narcissistic conman is baffling to me and can be satisfactorily explained in no way OTHER than to assume you have been taken in by a cult, that you have drunk the proverbial kool-aid.
I could accept wide-eyed credulity from you – and the other denizens of this lunatic asylum – if I simply thought you stupid (which I do not) or naive (which I do not). But, I have seen you, razor-sharp, calling out various misadventures of the left. You have proven yourself capable of such intellectual feats.
Yet, when it comes to your beloved Petty Tyrant and his merry band of grifters and assorted allies, no amount of evidence can ever sate you. Everything he says or does can be waived away with one line or another of the Narcissist’s Prayer. He didn’t say or do that… you’re misrepresenting it….. they’re lying about him….. he didn’t mean it.. you misunderstood it… they’ve done worse… or, failing all that.. they deserve it / they made him do it. (That last, of course, being a perennial favorite of abusive narcissists everywhere: “Look what you made me do!”.)
And that would be FINE. Well, not “fine,” but “ok,” if it were consistent. But it is not. For these on [other side], you brook no such excuses, you offer no such credulous benefits of the doubt. You cut through perceived malarkey, you call them out with rigor and zeal. Intellectual integrity which goes mysteriously absent when you turn your eye on [your side]. When it is [your side], the charges must be proven to an impossible, ever-shifting degree.
When it is [your side], the rule is innocent until proven beyond even the vaguest glimmer of a hint of a whiff of a shadow of a remote doubt. But, when it is [other side], they are presumptively guilty – “lock her up,” as they say.
Thanks for calling me a cultist. Love it when you shut it down like that! 🙄
I’ve said before, and I’ll stand by it. The lock her up chant is deserved. Maybe Chris Stephens and the other 4 who died in Benghazi would still be alive if she wasn’t Sec of State. Or maybe ask Edward Snowden what he knows about her private email servers. You could even ask James Comey if she deserves to be locked up. But try to go up against the Clinton machine and you, too, will end up dead. So yeah, she deserves it. And she is still crying about ’16
We could get into Obama weaponizing the intelligence community. And we can talk about David Plouffe’s statement regarding Trump, saying the likes of him should never rise again. Or Schumer saying the IC has six ways to Sunday to get him. Then the left using their self proclaimed authority to go after Trump and his allies from day one to the present, gives me every reason to defend Trump. Everything and the kitchen sink has been thrown at him, and he fights back, and he’s still standing. AND THE LEFT CAN’T STAND THAT. And neither can you. For a guy who claims to have little emotion, you lash out pretty well at Trump.
Now we can talk about how well the country was doing under Trump. How many demographics did better under Trump? How his foreign policy was top notch. How he was able to negotiate better deals on military equipment to the tune of billions. How he always has our interest above any other country’s first.
How he always has the back of first responders. How he was willing to send help to Portland and Seattle for the Antifa brats.. How he always had an ear and open checkbook to create opportunity zones in inner cities. How he had the USA energy independent. How he has exposed the corruption that we all talk about.
But all you can see is his bloviating. Because he doesn’t speak liberal speak. Because he’s brash and doesn’t care whether you like it or not. Because he dared to call the country to DC for a last ditch effort to save a STOLEN ELECTION. BFD! It will take time, or maybe we’ll never get enough proof together to satisfy the left about the election. Half the country believes it was stolen. So I’m in good company. Did he do right by the country or not?
You want to hear me Bash the Bush clan? I’ve done that. Want to hear me bash every single senator and rep? I hearby bash them severely. I’ll even bash Trump for being a big spender and for many bad appointments. I’ll bash him for putting Pence in charge of Covid and for keeping Fauci around way too long. But I’ll stand strong with him because now he has a proven record. The man is not perfect but he’s done a better job than any other president in my life.
This Kool Aid tastes pretty good.
Anita, my love …
“The lock her up chant is deserved.”
I agree and for a lot more than Benghazi. That said, Benghazi was just another American foreign policy fuckup and did NOT threaten our current democracy.
“Or maybe ask Edward Snowden what he knows about her private email servers. You could even ask James Comey if she deserves to be locked up. But try to go up against the Clinton machine and you, too, will end up dead. So yeah, she deserves it. And she is still crying about ’16.”
Snowden just granted citizenship by Putin. Good for him, I say. An American treasure the government had to try and eliminate, but the rest is just more whataboutism and exaggerated drama, but the truth of the matter is both Clintons have been corrupt to the core forever … and it doesn’t come close to the criminality of Trump. Right now, if I had my way, I’d jail every single politician in the system, except Katie Porter. I’m sure there are others I’d let stay out of jail, but I don’t know them. 🙂
We could get into Obama weaponizing the intelligence community.
Obama was a great disappointment to the actual left, but he’s a pimple on my ass compared to the cancer Trump is and remains.
Everything and the kitchen sink has been thrown at him, and he fights back, and he’s still standing. AND THE LEFT CAN’T STAND THAT. And neither can you. For a guy who claims to have little emotion, you lash out pretty well at Trump.
You’re mistaking conning his sycophants and distracting everyone else with fighting back. Granted the Democratic Party can’t stand him. Socialists like myself thought his presidency was a blessing for the FACT he’d expose what a corrupt to the core system we maintain. And THAT has been proven in spades. The other thing? Trump never had a fight in his life … and if he did, his victim was likely in a wheelchair.
Now we can talk about how well the country was doing under Trump. How many demographics did better under Trump? How his foreign policy was top notch. How he was able to negotiate better deals on military equipment to the tune of billions. How he always has our interest above any other country’s first.
Good lord, you can’t mean that. Put “our interest” above who, what and wear? He’s entire existence he’s only concerned himself with himself. 🙂
How he has exposed the corruption that we all talk about.
Yes, he has … and he’s the best example of corruption this country has EVER seen. Or, to quote the Orange Jesus himself, “the likes of which we’ve never seen.”
But all you can see is his bloviating. Because he doesn’t speak liberal speak. Because he’s brash and doesn’t care whether you like it or not. Because he dared to call the country to DC for a last ditch effort to save a STOLEN ELECTION.
You do realize he was a devout Democrat before running for anything, right? He didn’t change ideology either. He never had one except to bribe his way to the next level of wealth and/or power. And if you STILL believe the election was stolen, the Dread Pirate has you pegged, my love. You’re brainwashed.
This Kool Aid tastes pretty good.
I was afraid you were gonna admit that.
We’re brainwashed together, brother. In the most polite way, I hope your wishes never come true. You see Trump as a conman, I see him as standing for, and saying, what a whole lot of us think. That, and that he is willing to actually solve problems instead of using them as talking points. But, thanks . Somehow I don’t feel beaten when I’m down, when you’re beating on me. 🙂
Anita, my love, my wishes have no shot of coming true. We’re a corporate state now. That’s all we are. They rule and we obey or go hungry. Your side will win because the Democrats aren’t so far as you guys portray them from your side. It’s all insane to me, but I do hope you’ll watch those hearings. 🙂
Charlie,
You can do better than that, I’m sure. Or maybe you can’t. 🙂
Sure I can.
Or, perhaps you’d rather..
Or… perhaps… how do you feel about The Fed?
Remember, Canine, when you engage in your version of a knucklehead revolution, don’t take pictures of yourself. My favorite scenes from the January 6 KR was all the morons with cellphones in their hands taking pictures and videos of themselves committing crimes. BRILLIANT! 🙂
Well said Anita.
Bravo!
DPM…..I kjnow you have not seen nor heard from Mathius, but in your past conversations, did he ever mention how long it takes to charge his toy car? And the cost of doing it outside?
I got this from a Dallas source… “A typical electric car (60kWh battery) takes just under 8 hours to charge from empty-to-full with a 7kW charging point. Most drivers top up charge rather than waiting for their battery to recharge from empty-to-full. For many electric cars, you can add up to 100 miles of range in ~35 minutes with a 50kW rapid charger.”.
The average cost of charging an EV at a commercial charger, from almost empty to almost full, is between $10 and $30. Keep in mind that charging your EV on In general, it will cost between $15 and $55 to charge your EV while on the road, depending on what level of charger you are using.
I think he only uses his car within the metro area and not on the road.
Mathius’ car is a 2019 Smart ForTwo.
As he approaches 40, he got himself a red convertible for his midlife crisis. It remains unclear how close to “mid”-life it was, however.
Mock if you will, though, it costs almost nothing, is reliable as a rock, is phenomenal in snow, and gets a gas-to-electric-adjusted $0.90 / gal. The ~80-mile range isn’t much, but it’s more than enough for 99% of his use cases. In Texas, that might get you out of your driveway.
With that said, he has a level 2 charger in his garage (think a 240v dryer plug). He can charge his 17kwh battery 0-100, in 3-4 hours. Anecdotally, the first ~30% happen very fast and the rest a bit slower.
A Level 1 charger (think standard wall outlet) can charge his car in about 12 hours.
Outside, inside, makes no difference. Only the plug (and, consequently the level charger). A L2 charger goes for $2-500 installed.
But the cost of a kilowatt hour is the same regardless of the speed you draw it from the grid. (note, this may vary if you have off hour rates – most electric cars have a setting to time charging during off hours if you so wish).
Sounds about right. Though, again, Mathius’ car is significantly smaller. It gets both higher mileage and less range. With that smaller battery, of course, it charges much faster. He has never – to my knowledge – used an L3 (rapid) charger. Though he has plugged into L2’s at super markets and such opportunistically.
This sounds way too high.
Assuming an average car has a 50kwh battery, and electricity at 20c, that’s $10 of juice.
Hmm.. ok, maybe not way too high.. a big batter, say the Tesla extended range (82kwh) at a price gouging 40c/kwh… and you get ~$30. So, I guess, plausible, if a bit skewed.
It’s also worth noting that such a charge would (almost certainly) take hours, so it’s not like you’re going to get hit with it at the grocery store. This would be a pretty rare event. Maybe if you drive to a far away game and park at a charger there…?
For Mathius, however, a 0-to-full would typically cost, maybe $3 (vs the ~$1.70 at home). And again, a 0-to-full charge at such a location would be extremely unlikely and rare.
I don’t know what you mean by “on the road.” He doesn’t drive through cow pastures.
But, yes, he sticks to urban and (local) highway. 40 miles (there and 40 miles back) is still a lot of range for daily use. But he has two SUVs to back him up if he needs to do something further (or carry more than two people).
Ultimately, an electric is ideal for some use cases, like a short-range daily commuter, but I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone. Yes, anyway, we’ll probably get there eventually.
Thank you, sir.
But Why? If we reduced pollution in a 2022 Chevy to less than 5% of a 1962, out-of-the-showroom model, (previous discussions with T-Ray verified my research) why would you want to despoil the planet for your electric go-cart?
Have you no shame? What of the lopping off the top of mountains, fouling pristine meadows with your solar cells, forcing kids in the Congo to work 12 hour days at three dollars per day, polluting God knows how many lakes, rivers and streams with the run off from Lithium and Cobalt mining not to mention what to do with your expired batteries? What, send them to Puerto Rico to be broken down as we do now with lead batteries to poison another generation of little brown people?
If we have reduced pollution by over 95% in the internal combustion engine these past sixty years do you really think we have finished tinkering with it?
Zero to sixty in 1.4 seconds may satisfy your mid life crisis but the cost of these vehicles, unsubsidized, will not be significantly lower due to the materials needed and if they are, then it’s death for all western auto workers who will never be able to compete with third world manufacturers and abused workers.
Now, have I bothered talking about the infrastructures cost or the rise in electric rates as demand outstrips supply? No I have not.
Newton’s third law applies yet again. Equal and opposite reactions, not to mention Murphy’s law.
CA by executive edict (CARB not the legislature) has outlawed gas powered small engines (lawn mowers, trimmers, generators…), outlawed gas powered cars, outlawed natural gas heating, and diesel and gas powered big rigs. Most of the bans go into effect by 2035 to 2040. We will be a one energy state relying on the grid for all our power. This is a formula for disaster.
Cute how “conservative” now equals fascist!
The only fascists I see out there are now, as they always have been, on the left. State control working hand in hand with big business in a symbiotic relationship. Any other use of the term is absurd or perhaps just the lie to fool the folks. BOO!
I see no programs suggested by the new PM’s of GB or Italy which call for the blending of the authoritarian-industrial state which mostly already exists. I see a populist movement to tear that particular sucker down.
Guess Teddy Roosevelt was an early fascist.
Ah, Teddy … “A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.”
And when you combine it with Qanon, you get twice the boost for your buck! 🙂
Been trying to tell you that for years now.
OK, I will retreat a bit. He was our FIRST PROGRESSIVE POTUS. And the Progressive Movement of the early 1900’s was aligned with Fascism. They loved Mussolini.
FASCISM is just one more version of SOCIALISM. Pure and Simple.
Which of course means they are BOTH ON THE LEFT.
You guys had best get that fascism, as defined by Mussolini requires hand in glove cooperation with business, big business. While government may lead in the dance, the partner willingly, enjoyably and ecstatically follows. Now which political leader(s) today fit that particular ideal?
Here you go, big government, no religion, no individual freedom. Again just who fits that model today? I do NOT see either Meloni or Trump or the new Brit PM fitting the bill. Yes, both of our political parties promote fascist ideals but one is in 99.9% lockstep and the other is not.
jsu.edu/faculty/wooda/2B-HUM/Readings/The-Doctrine-of-Fascism.pdf
Sure, SK.
I need to fumigate my office after watching that.
Nor did you see Orban fitting the bill. 🙂 I’m starting to think you’re blind, SK …
“Meloni, though, has never fully disavowed her connection to Italy’s neofascist tradition even as she claims that her party is merely “conservative” and that fascism is a thing of the past.
The tricolor flame in the Brothers of Italy logo contradicts that claim: It celebrates her party’s connection with its fascist past by reviving the MSI’s emblem. The Brothers of Italy also perpetuates its forebear’s values. In particular, the natalist obsession of Il Duce’s 20-year rule, with its “Battle for Births,” has survived in the Brothers of Italy’s present-day concern about boosting the birth rate, its proposal to link social-welfare assistance to mothers and those engaged in child care, and its attempts to limit reproductive rights.”
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2022/09/giorgia-meloni-italy-election-fascism-mussolini/671515/
The “law and order” party … 🙂 “shoot to kill” and “claim victory no matter what.”
I’ll take a page out of Mathius’s Veritas page and say selective editing. We already know that CNN is guilty of that and I would not believe anything Don Lemon says.
How about Randy Rainbow? 🙂
Thank God his gene pool stops with him. Or is it zim? Zir? Watch out before you catch some monkey pox. All I know is that he’s projecting Karen from a point of being Karen. Because he doesn’t even have the brass to be a Darin. And MGT will beat his sissy little ass. And stay away from my grands or I’ll beat your ass myself. Pass the popcorn.
ROTFLMAO. Good lord my dear, I missed such an exciting mid day exchange. If I had read that a couple hours ago there would be some Bourbon spewed upon my screen.
Stops with him? Q assumes he’s part of the pedophile ring that drinks the blood of kids in the basement of pizza parlors. Because President Q (a.k.a., the Orange Jesus) has anywhere from 3-6 indictments coming his way and the best way to beat those is to claim “the FBI planted evidence” … except his lawyer’s special master isn’t buying it. Will they prove it? Will they EVER explain why the documents were in Mar-a-lago? Will they EVER prove anything they claim? 🙂 I love you guys!
So now your spending your time surfing 4 Chan for Q releases??
Are you suffering from Long Covid?
I’m merely showing you how the Orange Jesus had embraced Q. Now, unless you’re also embracing Q, why is that a problem for you? 🙂
So, you don’t believe concrete evidence, but you believe Roger Stone AND Donald Trump. Now that’s some mental gymnastics, my friend. 🙂
What exactly is the evidence you think was presented? And what do you think this evidence proves?
Charlie, I have told you that I will believe the evidence as it is presented to a real court……not the Jan 6 Kangaroo Hearings…….and yes, I gave in to your request and watched 3/4 of the hearings…..all I can say is……indict the man, present concrete evidence in a court, with proper cross examination, get a verdict and, if guilty, throw him in jail….throw away the key.
I watched the hearings, 3/4 of them anyway, and it has not changed my opinion…….present your evidence and convict ……anything short of that, is smoke filled coffee house crap.
I refuse to indict short of a proper hearing…..do that, prove him guilty…then my opinion will change.
AT article headline: “Obama’s SUV parked in a handicapped spot for 2 hours as he enjoyed upscale sushi with his daughters in LA.”
So what is the problem? Just because his daughter was also in the car. Since when can’t handicapped people have passengers?
Hey, colonel, down here!
Please….this isn’t a steak…..
Might make decent shoe leather, though..
Hey, Charlie, down here!
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/El1-gjaXgAIjnbM?format=jpg
2nd attempt:
Over here, Canine: “In a text message that Thomas sent to Meadows on November 5, she wrote, quoting from right-wing websites, “Biden crime family & ballot fraud co-conspirators (elected officials, bureaucrats, social media censorship mongers, fake stream media reporters, etc) are being arrested & detained for ballot fraud right now & over coming days, & will be living in barges off GITMO to face military tribunals for sedition.”
Well, there’s just no way I can come up with anything funnier than that…
On the primary topic, FBI corruption and accountability.
https://redstate.com/streiff/2022/09/26/the-gop-says-they-will-hold-the-fbi-accountable-for-rogue-behavior-dont-believe-it-n633105
it boggles my mind that someone who wants to limit government, limit corporate influence on government, increase individual freedom, increase personal responsibility, opposes indoctrination, believes in national self-sufficiency, believes in national greatness, believe that talking is better than shooting, can be called a fascist, authoritarian or totalitarian. Just frigging amazing!
Clearly this is edited and another deep state conspiracy. 🙂
What is friggin amazing to me is how you ignore the VIOLENCE your side requires (although it appears to be lots of talk from the Gravy seals and nothing more (MacBeth: “life “is a tale / Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, / Signifying nothing.” SMILEY FACE!
SK, why is it you think YOUR people were carrying NAZI flags in Charlottesville … how about Confederate flags? Or were they ANTIFA infiltrating the ranks of the morons? 🙂
Surely, more propaganda … Roger Stone wouldn’t say these things … on camera? 🙂
He didn’t say that.
And if he did, you misunderstood.
And if you didn’t, he’s out of context.
And if he’s not, it’s not a big deal.
And if it is, it’s not his fault.
And if it is, [your side] has done worse.
And if they haven’t, you deserve it.
Yep. Makes perfect sense.
Its not like he’s the only one to have said that before the election. Its happened forever. Just ask Al Gore or Stacey Abrahams or Hillary. When Covid flew in, everyone in the country predicted this election would be full of holes.
Untrue, Anita, my love. I don’t remember any of them using the “If I lose it’s rigged” excuse. Hillary blamed me, Russia and Sanders and Jill Stein. Neither did Gore say before the election “it was rigged if he lost.” I don’t remember Abrahams doing the same either. The “if we lose, it’s rigged” was Trump’s excuse before the 2016 election. Amazing how convenient it became when he actually did lose in 2020 (although he lost the popular vote in 2016 too).
You personally?
On an unrelated note, Hillary Clinton once referred to Mathius – personally – as an asshole. Don’t know if I’ve ever told that story here.
Ok, Charlie. Fair enough. They may never have said it before their losses. But please, don’t paint it as though all these guys don’t know elections are rigged. You can’t pretend to believe that. You say the government is crooked, but they run fair elections? ok.
Of course, they’re rigged.
The Pirate admits the elections are rigged. Can I get an Amen!?
There is nothing to “admit” about empirical fact.
Nonetheless, they are rigged in a manner wholly different than that which you allege. Do not twist my meaning.

(Sorry.. that’s just what happens when I try to say that word. It’s a mystery.)
Anita, my love, they are rigged in the sense only 2 parties get to run fairly … and for candidates who won’t stray from the party lines … and when a populist left candidate gets too close to upsetting the establishment line, the all important “superdelegates” get to RIG the election (Sanders in 201 and the Obama led coalition before super tuesday in 2020). There are NOT dead people voting enough to sway an election, ballots boxes aren’t being stuffed … nor were any of the other absurd Trump claims verified by ANY court, his own AG, his own DOJ or anybody else with an ounce of integrity or credibility.
I believe all that too Charlie. Its FUBAR
We’ve posted so many times about how many different ways were used to steal that election. As many articles and videos you post, we’ve posted what we’ve gathered. FOIA info released showed Barr didn’t investigate a damn thing, especially not in the 24 hours before he came to his ridiculous conclusion. 2000 mules shows videos of ballot boxes being stuffed. Whistleblowers have come forward explaining how they were paid per vote collected. Trump leads at midnight in swing states then suddenly lost in the middle of the night while counting supposedly stopped. Thousands of sworn affidavits signed. Judges denied cases because of standing. No judge saw any evidence. It all came down to a few states. You don’t think they can manipulate a few states? Come on.
Has anyone ever seen a tally of how many registered voters vs ballots cast vs vote totals? These people can’t even add 2+ 2 and you want me to believe the election was fair? And you want to call me crazy? I can’t believe that you believe it was fair. These people wanted Trump out by any means necessary and they got it. He left. Believe what you want.
So now here comes the down ballot play. And around we go. He’ll be back. But then we have to hear more bullshit for another 4 years. Maybe he’ll go in and clean house this time.
Anita, my love, all those questions you asked were actually addressed in the Jan. 6 hearings … all debunked.
This is probably more for SK, et al, guys I’m sure worshipped William Buckleym, Jr. (pre-Trump, of course). Here’s his son.
Actually Stacey Abrahams made a comment last month that if she lost it was because the Republicans were rigging the election.
Note in your precious Propaganda film how the Black Georgia Democrat says flat out the R’s cannot win without cheating. Yet in the same film you have a Dem. saying that when R’s say the same thing about D’s they are undermining Democracy and ushering in an era of violence and totalitarianism.
Now with all that said, I never liked Mr. Trump using that ploy in 2016 or in 2020. And if he thought that in 2016 why didn’t he have an army of lawyers and accountants standing in each precinct to make sure the votes were tallied properly.
Of course they did challenge some acts which the courts ignored, but then later ruled were in fact illegal……….making the votes gathered also illegal. But who the hell cares as long as you can HOWL about Trump.
“And if he thought that in 2016 why didn’t he have an army of lawyers and accountants standing in each precinct to make sure the votes were tallied properly.” Yet you defend him with his BS constantly. He doesn’t have an Army of lawyers for several reasons: 1) he stiffs them like he stiffs everybody else … 2) they don’t want to deal with a lunatic … 3) they get in more trouble defending him than defending murderers. 🙂
charlie
You are LYING again. I have not defended his BS and not even close to defending him “constantly,” over any issues. The only time I have defended his actual actions is when they deserved to be defended.
He said what he said.
Lemon and these two film makers are INTERPRETING what he said in line with what they think. Not on what he said.
Note that Lemon makes a big deal out of Stone’s words which were that “this will have to be fought in the courts.” How is that wrong or any indication of corruption.
In fact, those Trump appointed judges ruled against him. Kind of makes all this a load of Oooompah.
“How is that wrong or any indication of corruption.” The Courts ruled and he’s still spouting this bullshit. Did you notice what Stone said about violence and how “possession is 9/10th’s” of the law? 🙂 Please. Give it up already.
Stones comments about violence were aimed at Antifa. It is clear in the video YOU provided.
And yes, he said just claim victory. Guess what? That is exactly the strategy put forth by consultants to both parties. That is why you see politicians CLAIM victory when it looks like it is to close to call.
Again, claiming you won is not a crime. So you need to give it up already. You just spout crap and claim it is some kind of factual evidence of something.
Sorry for the cuss word, but sometimes you just have to call it like it is.
Just some more innocent legislation from the left wing Democrat Party, which is obviously not authoritarian nor tyrannical in any way.

I expect we will next see Doctors flooding to the Free State of North Idaho. Maybe that will drive down health care costs. Looking for a Silver lining in all this garbage.
A little sick humor for the afternoon. I sometimes feel just like this fella. Wondering why I don’t feel all this shame and guilt I am told everyone is feeling. Maybe. Just maybe, these experts are lying to us. Or would that make me a Q anon cultist? I am just so confused.

Food for SERIOUS THOUGHT.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/09/the_poisonous_politics_of_pejorative.html
Serious thought? I find this article disingenuous.
Here, again, we find the myopic assistance that the left does bad things (true), but the implication that the right are somehow innocent victims.
As though – at the time of Mrs. Clinton’s (idiotic) ‘deplorables’ comment, Trump wasn’t waving his hands like an idiot conductor of crowds chanting “lock her up.”
Everyone hates an apostate (from their side, anyway).
But how this author, with a straight face, can levy criticism against liberals because one such apostate thinks she has “become an enemy to many of them,” but disregard the relentless stream of conservatives and Republicans who have been converted from “the best people” to personas non-grata in the last few years…
Perhaps I hallucinated the early 2000’s where any Democrat that wasn’t sufficiently cowed before Bush’s “war on terror” was flogged with the “soft on terrorism” brand?
Or, perhaps, lately, when everyone who the right doesn’t like is called a “groomer”?
——————–
My “serious thought” is this: The right persists in a collective delusion that the they “react” to the left rather than that they are in a brawl – an ongoing barfight which spans generations and has no clear beginning, no clear aggressor or victim. That their every misdeed is only as a necessary response or reprisal to the misdeeds of the left. And I call malarkey.
DPM
First of all, when I say something is food for serious thought it means that the content of the piece is deserving of serious thought. As in it should be critically reviewed and dissected. I would think that the plain English would make that clear. Food for thought is not the same as “Excellent points worth adopting.”
Second, your continued use of the erroneous statement about cowed Democrats over the Gulf war is still erroneous. Not the part where the Fox News pundits, and some others, were tossing it around. But that the D’s were actually cowed or intimidated. If that had been the case they wouldn’t have drug Bush II over the coals, forcing him to go to Congress and get authorization. They wouldn’t have immediately started criticizing the whole effort, AFTER approving it. I will grant you that it was wrong to use that meme to try and denigrate the other side. But as you say, it has been a brawl for a very long time.
Which brings me to the third thing. Those on the right writing and saying all these things you don’t like absolutely realize they are in a brawl. They just don’t think their predecessors were willing to admit it. That is why Trump got the support he did from many that you would thing wouldn’t have supported him. He appeared willing to fight back. Not judging right or wrong here so don’t get off track. Just explaining what I have heard and read from these folks the past ten years or so.
Aside: I love your tactic of claiming R’s have a victimhood complex while claiming that D’s were picked on by the R’s over Gulf War 2.
Fourth, nobody is calling people groomers just because they don’t like them. Fact is that the sex ed. push is coming from the NEA and those who strangely seem to vote Democrat most of the time. That push is resulting in lessons and behavior by teachers that experts say is part of grooming. Is it intended to groom all the students? I have not seen anything claiming that. The claim is that the curriculum prepares very young students for grooming. Like preparing the battlefield.
Fair point. Consider me duly chastised.
Setting aside that my recollection of that era differs somewhat from yours, the foregoing is my primary point.
The author of your piece acts as though history only begins at the point where Blue Team are the aggressor and Red Team, the blameless victims. Rather than recognize this fact he (correctly) chastises the left for their poor behavior but (incorrectly) paints it as a one-sided action which caused/forced his good and noble side to react.
The author’s overall points were – generally – valid. If biased. But generally, valid. But the absence of content, the one-sided presentation, renders the whole to be disingenuous and misleading.
Explain this to me again.
The right realizes they’re in a brawl… but what predecessors.. Red Team predecessors? As in the Tea Party? As in Gingrich and co? If they think that “their side” hasn’t been fighting a brawl, I’m not sure what kind of delusion they’re living in. Hell, they impeached Clinton for lying about a blow job. Obama couldn’t wear a tan suit without a three-day scandal. HRC was accused of everything under the moon – up to, and including, running a child sex trafficking ring under a pizarria. What planet are these people living on that they cannot see “their side” as ‘fighting’?
More to the point,…
But that’s the whole goddamned point!
“Fight back” implies they haven’t been fighting this whole time. That they’ve been, I guess, standing in the middle of a bar fight and just taking hits without dishing it out or defending themselves..?
This is my perennial lamentation. The DELUSION demanded to see Trump and say “ah, finally someone who will fight back” with no awareness that they had been in the fight all along.
Perhaps – perhaps – one might argue he fights better or harder. And this I could countenance. But that is not the implication.
The right.. Republicans, Conservatives, conservatives (small C), and Trumpists… persist in pretending that they bear no responsibility for the state of things and that the evil left has been so darn mean that they just had no choice but to choose a champion who would finally stand up for them. AND IT IS DAMNED MALARKEY!
Were they not? Did “with us or against us” not happen? “Soft on t’rrism”?
To be clear, I do not hold that history began at this point. This is one punch thrown in a storm of punches by all sides at everyone else. I use it only to demonstrate a history – a point to show that Red Teams misbehavior predates Trump’s supposed “fighting back.”
SKT asserted exactly that in response to my earlier question on this comment.
It may well be the claim, but I have seen no evidence to support it other than pearl-grasping fear mongering.
Again, the argument that such education is not the place of a public school is one to which I am sympathetic. But that the schools are actually – GROOMING – children, or “preparing them for grooming”.. that is wholly unsupported in my opinion.
FURTHER, I would assert that sex ed, generally, provides EXACTLY the set of skills and knowledge children need in order to be best situated to recognize, resist, and report actual grooming and inappropriate sexual advances.
Charlie keeps carping about the J6 Committee hearings and how they show evidence of some criminal activity. Sorry, but I just haven’t seen any such evidence yet. In fact, much of that hearing has been about stuff and actions we already knew about. Just more posturing to make it sound worse.
Now I want everyone to note that I dissed on evidence of criminality. Not stupidity or obnoxious comments or even what I would call “dereliction of duty.” All of those were and remain evident. But that is not what the Dems and the Media have everyone all flushed about. This is the once again we have evidence of Mr. Trump committing actual crimes. Only to have the football pulled away, again, and again, and again. In some sense I am starting to feel sorry for the blokes on the left.
So now I am going to do something brash. Go out on a limb so to speak. What would I consider evidence that was truly damning, that might be an actual crime? Well here it goes.
I want to see actual evidence of,(insert name of anyone you like here) knowing that the elections were not fixed, rigged or stolen in some manner, and yet worked with others to “deliberately” misinform the public. Evidence they deliberately and knowingly defrauded the American People.
Show me that evidence and you will see me calling for someone to go to jail. That includes Mr. Trump if it is proven.
I am curious what others who supported Mr. Trump would say or do if such evidence were actually found and presented to us. Hopefully in an objective and professional manner, so as to eliminate the shades of doubt created by partisan leaks and innuendo.
So there you have it, my criteria.
If you watched all the hearings and still feel the way you claim, I call BULLSHIT. Sorry, but you’re either in total denial, or as I suspect, you know as well as anybody who watched those hearings that your boy attempted to maintain power through a pathetic coup and is guilty as the day is long. You do know better. All of you do. It’s like DP said earlier, you’ll excuse everything. You can’t imagine admitting you’re wrong on the Orange Jesus. It’s comical is all it is. 🙂
charlie
With all due respect, I call BULLSHIT on your claims of what has been proven. I have watched parts, well highlights supposedly, of the hearings. And what I see is YOU reaching conclusions YOU WANT TO REACH, no matter what is presented.
You have a serous Confirmation Bias problem.
I asked about the several videos you posted. What do you think they actually say and what is it supposedly evidence about? No coherent answer yet.
Your use of DPM’s silly meme, and his use of it as well, is nothing but diversion. In a sense it is an ad-hominem fallacy. It is you claiming I will not accept any answer as true when the problem is no answer, or in this case hard evidence, has been presented.
Same as declaring something is “proof” when it is not then laying down a marker claiming anyone disagreeing with you is a cultist or kool aid drinker. Just another fallacious argument. I guess that is the East Coast version of No True Scotsman.
Did they develop various strategies to force investigations into the election? Yes, and I would expect the same from any other politician. Just imagine what would have happened if Obama had lost under the same circumstances. Did one of those strategies involve creating alternative slates of electors? Yes it did. But as I stated before, that is not something new and may only be a crime in certain states. Even that is questionable, since I am unaware of any of those alternative slates actually being submitted.
Did Mr. Trump and his people try to delay Mr. Biden being declared the winner? Yes they did. Just as Gore tried with Bush II, until the SCOTUS put an end to it. Just as any other politician would have done if they thought the election stolen. Which is the real key, isn’t it? Did they REALLY think it was stolen or was it actually a deliberate fraud.
You act as though because I and others don’t see an actual crime means we don’t see what happened and how irresponsible some of it was. Or that we are all OK with everything that happened.

It is time we stop arguing about the past election. It is water over the dam.
2020 was a terrible year with Covid. 2021 was even worse. However 2022 is shaping up to be a total disaster. The markets are tanking, inflation is terrible, food may be in serious short supply as we deplete last years stocks and start living off of the this years. 2023 may be even worse with regard to food.
Europe may freeze this winter and there is not much we can do about since they put all their eggs in the green basket. Someone blew up the pipeline. Did we do it? Apparently Biden and others haven publically discussed it. This could be considered and overt act of war if traced back to us.
It should be clear to everyone by now that the DOJ & FBI are political pawns of the D party. We have an invasion on our southern border that left unchecked will haunt us for a generation. We are on the verge of loosing our default world currency status. Schools are a mess with CRT and LGBQ+ grooming.
I could go on. We have many serious problems, very few of which are actually being addressed.
We need to change the debate and start actually solving our problems.
Grooming has a meaning that I do not believe applies.
Are you suggesting that schools are specifically and deliberately preparing children to be receptive to improper sexual advances? Or do you mean some other thing by it?
https://i.imgur.com/U8e38EI.gif
Pretending not to know things doesn’t change the issue. A school is no place for kids to learn anything about gender identity. That is a parent’s job.
Are you suggesting that schools are specifically and deliberately preparing children to be receptive to improper sexual advance
It appears so, yes.
State your case, then.
Yes, in fact I am if he is not. If you do not see this, you are not paying attention, a curse you and the other young’uns seem to have. Probably due to all the devoices you are attached to.
Almost every time I walk down the street and see someone, usually but not always young, so engrossed with their “device” they have lost all situational awareness, I am reminded of a young 2nd Lt. I peripherally knew through a friend. An obsessive compulsive detail guy who never could see the whole forest but seemed to know each individual tree personally, I was surprised he made it through ROTC and was given a commission.
He later died in Viet-nam and supposedly it was because, as the first off his Huey, he took two steps before tripping the most obvious booby trap one could ever encounter. Now, he is dead and the above was neighborhood lore but I cannot but help remembering Randy every damned time I watch someone glued to their I phone as they trip on a crack, fall off a curb, almost get run over or just lose their kid.
There is a group out there called “Gays against Grooming” which is basically gagged! I’ve seen some of their spokespersons and they make some excellent points. For that they have been taken off PayPal and some other wishy washy sites.
I pay close attention.
I notice, for example, that the rest of your comment bears no relevance to my question.
You purport that there is a widespread effort, by the left, deliberately and purposefully designed to render children receptive to inappropriate sexual contact by adults. I ask that you present evidence of this extraordinary claim.
“You purport that there is a widespread effort, by the left, deliberately and purposefully designed to render children receptive to inappropriate sexual contact by adults. I ask that you present evidence of this extraordinary claim.”
Quasi-quoting you here DPM: “Why play this game?” SK is a 15th century warrior in his own mind.
Because what is life without fun?
And some fun for you, Charlie. (bonus)
Because it’s just so damned absurd!
I want to know what the everloving 𝓯𝓾𝓬𝓴 the left is foisting on children that people actually believe is rendering them receptive to sexual advances by adults.
Because I get the argument that it’s not the school’s place to teach sex ed or LGBT-inclusion. There’s at least an argument there. But that it is purposefully aimed at molesting kids..?
(and all of that, of course, is wholly aside from these same people’s support for certain other institutions…)
Molesting kids………no. I do not think that.
Ok, then… can you explain what you believe is meant by what you said…?
The two assertions – both by you – appear at odds unless I am misunderstanding something.
You misunderstand me because I have not rendered opinions before except on CRT…LGBTQ issues where gender studies are being taught is definitely wrong, in MY opinion. Pronouns and teaching that it is ok being whatever you decide is wrong. This is a parental decision. Not a school nor government decision. To encourage children in elementary schools is wrong. I do know a little about it because I have the situation in my family where I have a step son whose daughter has determined that she is male…wants to change her name…etc. this was encouraged and taught in her school. It does not belong there. The same school did teach that “your parents have so say in this matter” and that if you wish to be gender neutral or wish to be another gender then that is your right, no matter the age.
I refuse to acknowledge this and it has created a rift between me and my step son. It has also created a rift between my step son and the rest of the family. No one supports that position and to expect someone to change in order to support a position is equally wrong. If you have a penis….you are male. End of story. If you have a vagina, you are female…end of story.
When you teach, in school, that it is ok to be otherwise, this is wrong. When you encourage a child….A CHILD….to change sexes, to embrace trans gender, this is wrong…….wrong…….wrong. When you teach that it is ok to not tell your parents that you want different gender and that the school supports this……it is wrong…..wrong…..wrong.
You and I will not see eye-to-eye on this matter.
All I can offer you in this time is a humble question: Is being right more important than healing the rift with your family?
If you are right – which I do not agree you – but IF you are right, what do you gain by refusing to ‘play along’? Pride? Do you believe your principled stance will correct your grandchild’s course? What do you gain, verse what do you lose? Do not answer me, these are not questions for me, but for you.
DPM
And another article with specific examples.
https://redstate.com/alexparker/2022/09/28/k-12-teachers-wear-qr-codes-promoting-sex-work-sex-secrets-and-the-abortion-of-pregnancy-tissue-n634097
A fine example, JAC
From ABC News (rather than the hit-piece at Red State:
It is provided by the NEA group to adults to WEAR IN CLASS.
So if the content is not appropriate for students, why would they encourage it being worn in class. Why not just say, keep it in your locker or at home?
You know, sometimes all the sophistry from bureaucrats just doesn’t hide their agendas. Or at least what we see as the potential affect. I mean, what harm can come of sexualizing grade schools.
Why are you so quick to dismiss the concerns of actual Gay people over this stuff being in our schools??
The QR code in question is on the back of the pin, intended for use and education of adults, not minors.
I don’t recall dismissing anything of the sort….
The term is being used in a more general sense. However, there were some specific examples of the more narrow meaning over the past couple of years. I believe one teacher was fired. The others not. But as SK noted, there are homosexuals out there saying they are seeing “grooming.”
The following shows the more general use of the term being applied by many today.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/02/sexualization_pornography_and_grooming_in_the_schools.html
DPM
And another article, one with a bit more clinical approach.
https://dailycaller.com/2022/07/29/grooming-schools-education-sexual-abuse-children-transgender-groomer-drag-queen-story-hour/
Russia may refuse to acknowledge dual nationals’ U.S. citizenship, deny their access to U.S. consular assistance, prevent their departure from Russia, and conscript dual nationals for military service,” the embassy warned Tuesday.
This is funny and deserved.
How so?
It is funny from the stand point that having dual citizenship should never be used as a way to dodge a crime or law or edict in the country you reside. Russia says…..if you are a dual citizen, you will not be able to use American citizenship to dodge conscription and I agree with that. Also, funny from the standpoint of it is not a form of diplomatic immunity.
You have dual citizenship, you deserve to do the time of the country you are in….if conscription, or draft is the norm……….so be it.
I see.
So, to be clear, you do not believe that a person’s body is their own and that a government pressing you into service is slavery?
I believe that is call a “touche” Colonel. 🙂
Not even close.
I’m not exactly sure where the “touche” is in what I said, but I’ll take the wins where I can get them.
Nonetheless, forcing people into military service against their will is no different than forcing them to harvest cotton against their will. Slavery either way – pure and simple.
From that stand point, of course. But to expect dual citizen ship to protect you is folly.
From the touche’ stand point…..no touche’ there. Russia is conscripting…it is their country……it is none of our business. If you have a dual citizenship, you are part of that country if you are there. Full stop. They can draft you if they wish and my thoughts on conscription being slavery is not relevant in Russia. I think it is funny that when people try to play two ends against the middle and they lose…they complain.
“They can draft you if they wish and my thoughts on conscription being slavery is not relevant in Russia. ” Nor was it here during the start of Vietnam (until 72?) … it’s slavery if you don’t agree with the war. What happens to an individual’s right to refuse engaging in what they as individuals determine are illegal, immoral wars?
Charlie, we have been over this…..”because at the time it was the law.”
Conscription has always been a difficult issue for me.
On the one hand, the Govt should not have that power. And as I have said before, if citizens will not volunteer to defend their country then they don’t deserve to have that country.
On the other hand, why should those of us willing to defend it, lose it because the others won’t? Who are they to decide what happens to my future by sitting on the sidelines.
Now maybe, just maybe this wouldn’t be such and issue of our military was ONLY used for its intended purpose. DEFENSE of our Nation.
Yes, “DEFENSE of our Nation.”
And our last wars have been brought about via government lies. So, until a foreign nation attacks Coney Island, the Government can go fuck itself with their “national interest/national defense” bullshit.
Jac,
This translates to: “I think [thing] is important worth doing, but if I am not capable of doing it alone, I am justified in forcing others to help me, even if they do not want to.”
Can you see how this fails the test of liberty?
DPM
Of course I can see that. It is the major conundrum of democratic governments who claim to support Liberty. This very conflict in values includes those who say I should pay for welfare because the majority wants it. Or I must pay taxes because they do.
Except the issue I raise is regarding actual defense of the Nation which provides said Liberty. Thus it has a different flavor. Despite this I my primary position is that we don’t deserve to be saved if nobody will volunteer to defend us. At the same time I have no problem telling those who won’t to move somewhere else, since they have shown themselves to be of little value to the greater good. Yes, that is the sound of snickering you hear.
Many cases in WW 2 of young Americans of German and Japanese descent caught in those countries and drafted into their respective armies.
Ergo, so much for liberty and rah, rah! for slavery. 🙂
Where in either statement is anyone cheering rah, rah for slavery?
BS comment Charlie.
A draft is slavery when an INDIVIDUAL doesn’t agree with the cause of the war. Think about how many American soldiers would’ve been spared deaths and injuries had we not engaged in Vietnam and Iraq. Lies put us in both wars.
It need not even be that.
An individual might agree and just choose not to participate.
The key is that it’s THE INDIVIDUAL’S life, so it’s the INDIVIDUAL’S absolute, unilateral decision whether to participate.
Does it work that way for taxes too? How about speeding laws? Last I checked, sovereign citizens are frowned on.
Of course.
Mathius may feel otherwise, but he has not been seen in days…
Anita, my love, comparing taxes with war and speeding tickets doesn’t hold water. I missed the draft by a year or two in the 70’s. At the time I was a moron and would’ve gone. by the time I learned the truth about Vietnam, etc., I was in my 30’s … had I known then … The government lied us into wars. When the government lies me into a traffic ticket or taxes, I’ll fight them in court. When they tell my grandchildren, etc. they have to go to war based on a lie or not, I can only hope my grandchildren have access to Canada. Blind faith is stupid. It is not honorable or anything else but stupid.
Your statement is correct, DPM…..up to the point of law.
Of course it is.
I said it.
You should have quit while you were ahead..
Can’t…..if it is law…..change it or live with it….you know my position you raggedy old Pirate. Quit playing around the edges.
Things You Can Do to Support Your LGBTQ Students:
Post Safe Space Signs. You can designate your classroom a “safe zone” through stickers or posters on your classroom door. …
Start an LGBTQ Organization at Your School. …
Stand Up Against Homophobia. …
Integrate LGBTQ Topics into the Curriculum. …
Pursue Professional Development
===================
This is wrong…..and teaches segregation.
Inclusion teaches segregation?
No sir……..separating a class or instituting safe places for only LGBTQ, is not inclusion.
Letting people be who they are, and feel safe doing so.
That is not “separating a class.”
If we just.. change things around a little bit…. “all black children must wear white-face to fit in because letting them just be black (or having teachers who are accepting and supportive of their differences)” would be… segregation…?
Essentially, you are arguing that all gender and sexual minorities should be shoved back into the closet in the public sphere (or, at least, at school).
That is not “separating a class.”. That is exactly what it is…
Indeed, when you break the whole into much smaller parts and treat them differently. In case you missed it we are now seeing dynamic racial “resegregation” in the creation of separate dorm facilities for students of differing ethnic groups let alone sexual proclivities.
Exactly what will it take for you to really understand King’s quote about “content of character vs. color of skin”? I was raised to treat all equally by a man with a tenth grade education. I grew up in an integrated neighborhood where the only distinction was whether, you, as an individual were a piece of crap or not. If you were a black, Jewish, Irish, Slavic, Puerto-Rican piece of crap, then you were a piece of crap. Your parents, children siblings etc. were NOT, unless they proved otherwise by actions and deeds.
Throughout history we have seen pogroms against just about every ethnic and religious group from Anabaptists through Mormons from Gypsies to Jews which occur for one of two reasons, self segregation or a closed society. WTF has really changed in human nature in the past 6,000 years.
Throughout the 20th century, we, here in the US, have busted our asses to get beyond individual identities and embrace the whole. There have been notable failures but always because of small groups of nut cases. Now it seems the “nut cases” are in the ascendency not because they can convince any majority but because the legal/legislative system and fifth estate has devolved to the point that rather than “offend” they go along with the Yugoslavian model in the mistaken belief there will be a different outcome.
Smiley face … ” I was raised to treat all equally by a man with a tenth grade education.” Yet you would set mines on the border … 🙂
No sir…..respect the law. You always dance around that.
And if the law is evil?
If you were transported to the early 1800’s, would you help slaves escape?
What if, in this time travel misadventure, you went too far and found yourself taken as a Roman slave? Would you try to escape? Or stay put – because it is the law?
Yep, just like I’d set them on my perimeter if in Saipan, Viet-nam, Anzio, Chancellorsville, the Argonne or any other place I was likely to be overrun. Difference being I’d warn the “enemy” this time, by all possible mans. 107,000 fentanyl deaths may mean nothing to you, the destruction of the working class in this Country may mean nothing to you, the rape and murder of little kids in these caravans may mean nothing to you but, for better or worse they do to me.
So, with us legally admitting more than 1,000,000 immigrants into the country each and every year legally, something NO OTHER COUNTRTY does, the 5,000,000 who have arrived, uninvited, should all go home.
Come to think of it, SK … what about the “kids” who are with parents who won’t acknowledge your warning signs. When they get blown up, are you still fine and dandy with your decision to kill?
And I really think you should concentrate on the highest rape rate in the country, which is Texas, by the way. Maybe you should convince some of your American buddies to lay off the kids. Start with the Catholic Church. 🙂
There are lots of evil laws…..and lots of unjust laws…..you are playing again…..would I help slaves to escape? No, probably not because slavery was not illegal….immoral perhaps but not illegal until abolished. I would never have them….
As a Roman slave, would I try to escape if I could ……..you bet your ass I would have. Same as if I were in a prison camp…..
If you wish to violate what you consider to be an unjust law…..you know there are consequences. Same with evil laws……
All choices have consequences.
Action… inaction…
Sometimes the consequence is a jail cell…
Sometimes the consequence is a guilty conscience…
It is up to each of us alone to decide which is more is the worse fate.
Curious
Are you OK with people killing other people based on their pre-determined acceptable level of consequence? What if they tell you “I am willing to live with the guilt of it.” Does them murdering someone then become a nothing burger for you?
No.
None of that means I am “OK” with anything.
What it means is that you are a free human being with free will. Every choice, every decision, every lack thereof, comes with a consequence.
Eat salad, eat steak.
Work out, watch TV.
Keep a job, rob liquor stores.
Do drugs, don’t do drugs.
Be kind, be rude.
Turn left, turn right.
The choices all belong to the people making them. People can set consequences as they wish. If you are rude to me, I will no longer be your friend. If you steal from me, I will shoot you in defense of what is mind. If And there are natural consequences beside. If you turn left, you may encounter a swarm of bees that you would not have had you turned right.
Some consequences are minor. Others severe. Some foreseeable, some not. And even the wise cannot see all ends. This is a condition known as “existence.”
———–
The question before the colonel was whether he would defy an evil law.and his response held that there are consequences for doing so. This is true.
I Merely observe that there are consequences for NOT doing so as well.
Break the evil law, you may find yourself in jail. Do not break the evil law, you may find yourself with a guilty conscience.
Who am I to tell you what you can and cannot decide? Who am I to judge for you the decisions you would make with your own life? Is jail worth the price of your guilty conscience? Who am I to tell you which is worse for you? That is for you to decide.
DPM
Am I to assume there are no rules on your ship? That all the crew can do whatever they wish, since you don’t own them.
It is my ship and all aboard obey my rules.
They are free to decide otherwise, of course, but there will be consequences for such a choice.
Yet it is their choice to make. If the choice they wish to make is worth the price they would pay, that is a decision that alone can make.
Before or after the “keelhaul”?
Just for the hell of it, looked up the May 2020 “riots at the White House” on Google. Only info there was from left wing media sources. That includes CNN, the NYT and WP as far as I am concerned. Matter of fact it consists of anyone who believed (and probably still does) Russian Collusion with Trump. Biased, unapologetic media doing its best!
Anyway there is nothing there about the 50 plus officers injured except pieces seeming to blame them and of course how Trump was “rushed” to the WH bunker. THAT, in and of itself, says a whole lot if you have any clue how the secret service operates.
So, what actually was an insurrection, albeit armed with rocks and Molotov cocktails, was shall we say underreported. In the first eight pages of Google, there was nothing from a Conservative source and more than half the references were to January 2021 NOT May of 2020.
As the old man would have said, READ BETWEEN THE LINES. “lest We Forget”
https://www.post-gazette.com/news/nation/2020/05/31/White-House-protests-outside-George-Floyd-protesters-DC-Trump-bunker/stories/202005310136
Is that the “riot” where Trump decided to hold a Bible upside down so he had his “law enforcement” clear the streets? He should’ve been hung for that alone.
Exactly which “law enforcement” did Mr. Trump control? Which of those present were “his” and how did he control their actions?
Dept.of Interior Inspector General found that the Park Police had previously planned to clear the area where they were responsible. Not knowing about any plans by Mr. Tump to walk to the Church.
So do you have actual facts or is this just more spewing and spreading Q anon conspiracy theories?
“Dept.of Interior Inspector General found that the Park Police had previously planned to clear the area where they were responsible. Not knowing about any plans by Mr. Tump to walk to the Church.
So do you have actual facts or is this just more spewing and spreading Q anon conspiracy theories?”
Wow, you guys looked at nothing. Several “lefty” papers reported the rioting as well as the attacks by the police on peaceful protestors (the “rioting” took place after the police cleared their path so the Orange Jesus could have a 30 second photo op of him holding an upside down Bible (the irony is delicious). 🙂
What happened, as in riots and police, is not in dispute.
It is your claim that it was A) done so Trump could have a photo op., and B) that Mr. Trump ordered this done.
You seriously don’t think the cops in that instance weren’t acting on his behalf? He may not have “ordered” the cops to bash the protesters, but it’s like he said at his stupid rallies 1,000 x’s … “They used to take them out on a stretcher” … “I’d like to punch that guy right in the face” (as if he had the balls) … “don’t be so nice when you’re putting them in a car …”
The other thing: Just like January 6, he NEVER even attempted to stop it.
And all for a photo op … of a moron holding an upside down bible.
The bible was fake. If it had been real, it would surely have burst into flames.
The most well-known high school for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning9 (LGBTQ) youth” is New York City’s Harvey Milk High School (HMHS).”
Does this not violate Brown?
Because the left says so. See my comment above to Matt.
What a fire storm I started with the LGBQ+ nonsense in schools. However, that is but one problem we have albeit important to our future generations. I fear we are whistling passed the graveyard. We have major economic and foreign policy problems besides the social issues. We have been in a state of economic decline since Covid hit and the decline has accelerated since Biden took over. We are spending trillions to solve a non-problem in AGW while also wasting billions on a war that could easily get out of hand.
Charlie, I remember how irate you were when the Jerry Sandusky scandal broke at PSU. You wanted to lynch everyone at the university before any of the trials started. I don’t remember Matt’s response but I can guess he came down on the side of protecting the kids as we all did. The LGBQ+ nonsense in our schools is an industrialized version of this but you are OK with it. What happened to you?
Anytime a teacher tells a student not to tell their parents, they are in the wrong.
When you go from .03% of a population thinking they are the wrong sex to 9% in twenty years, something is wrong in the State of Denmark (here too).
Behold the chart of left-handed people.
What can you infer from this with your mighty powers of deduction?
That as more and more kids began attending schools and being taught to write they discovered they were left handed.
Or, the gene which dictates left vs. right was increasing within the population but has leveled off.
Or, a majority of the refugees coming to the USA after WW I were left handed. Which probably explains a lot about how our politics followed the same trend.
Then there is the fact that your graph has nothing to do with the data SK posted. Since one deals with actual differences and one with perceptions.
Do you suppose that another explanation might be as follows:
Until the first part of the 20th century, and eventually petering out mid-century, being left-handed was punished. Children were forced to right “correctly” with their right hands regardless of natural orientation. To throw “correctly” with their right hands regardless of their natural orientation. All school supplies were right-handed. Etc. Many even viewed being left-handed as a mark of the devil.
Then, at some point, people realized this was a stupid hill to die on and let kids just be whatever they naturally are. The number of lefties “exploded.” And then it leveled off at the natural incidence level.. around 10%.
Now, I’m not asking you to ACCEPT that interpretation of the data…. but can you see how it might explain fit the above data? And, more importantly, how it might apply to the topic at hand?
Yes I could see that explanation. I already did but chose not to post it because I figured that was gong to be your interpretation.
However, did the trend begin with some revelation in 1917? Under the new Dewey public instruction?
And, this does not eliminate the fact that SK is talking about YOUNG CHILDREN identifying as the WRONG sex. Not teens but children as young as 3 or 4, thanks to the new age preschools. Left vs. right is a physical characteristic. Although there are some lefties that learned to write with their right hands. And some right handed folks who hit better from the left side of the plate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mickey_Mantle
I wasn’t exactly being subtle…
One might posit that gender and sex (different things, by the way) are
physicalgenetic characteristics as well.——————————-
I have a pet theory in all of this, by the way. Perhaps you would like to hear it?
DPM
Of course I would like to hear your theory. I would like to hear Mathius’ as well, if he ever recovers from his special dinner.
Is your “theory” worthy of a separate article????
No.
Perhaps.
No, I think not. Not until I’ve crash tested it a bit more…. that’s what you lunatics are for, after all…
Flunks Occam’s razor!
Or “maybe” something was wrong before. Since you’re so concerned about the “kids” (except those forced to have a rapists baby), how about all the gay kids who killed/still kill themselves because of how well rednecks and the like treat them. Because nothing says tough guy like bullying a gay kid. Some of the responses to Randy Rainbow here kind of smelled of homophobia. 🙂 Randy Rocks!
Your strawman is so HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE is is covering up the logic in your arguments. All I can see is STRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWW
Sandusky was an f’n pedophile and the entirety of that football staff knew it (as did the AD and President) … Did Joe Pa go to jail? Did any of those who covered up Sandusky go to jail (sincere question because I don’t know). When you assume kids are going to turn gay, you’ve lost me. It’s stupid.
Yes, tar everyone with guilt by association but you can soften the kids up for future Minor Attracted People but because your motives were pure, you are innocent.
I have no idea what you’re even trying to say here. 🙂
On the CRT BS in the schools. Teaching young blacks that they are oppressed and young whites that they are the oppressors is wrong. Is this not visiting the sins of the great-grandfathers and prior generations on the innocent youths of today. I say great-grandfathers because I am in the grandfather generation. We grew up following the teachings of Dr. King.
“Teaching young blacks that they are oppressed and young whites that they are the oppressors is wrong.” How about teaching young black kids why they were and remain oppressed and how and why white privilege is part of the problem? Too close to the American home?
Question for all you Q and Maga types: Have you expressed as much outrage of Brett Favre stealing from welfare funds as you “might have” at Colin K taking a knee?
I doubt anyone on here but you has ever followed Qanon.
I never knew what it was until y’all mentioned it here. Had to look it up. Waste of time.
Why don’t I believe that?
Don’t know why you don’t believe that….the only “Q” I knew was on Star Trek…..but, if you remember, I mentioned that never followed or read a lot of the links everyone on here seems to read. Only when people quote from them do I read the links…..never keep them.
Leave John de Lancie out of this!
Is it going to be your contention that I should show more outrage at him than all the other ass hats who use federal funds for their own personal agendas? Like politicians, bureaucrats, NGO administrators, special interest groups of all kinds, etc. etc…. Why is a retried QB so important to you? Maybe that should be the real question.
Charlies point:
If you were more outraged at “black man kneeling during the anthem” than at “rich white men looting millions of dollars earmarked for the poorest people of the poorest state,” then Charlie is going to think some very judgemental things about you.
Well no amount of evidence would satisfy the emotional argumentation so it is a bit like spitting into the wind.
Also, kind of a strange comparison when it comes to outrage. Unless of course we recognize the left’s habit of making everything about black vs. white.

I believe you, Colonel, but there’s no way I’m believing T-and JAC or SK aren’t familiar with Q. NO f’n way! 🙂
My knowledge of Q is limited to what has been printed and reported on the primary internet sites. When I made my trip down the rabbit hole Q did not exist. I have NEVER been on 4Chan or its replacement.
I have in FACT been asked by friends to help them save their relatives from the rabbit hole in general and Q in particular.
So take your Q worship crap and stuff it where the sun don’t shine.
Oh Gee Willikers, did I really say that last part out loud? Bad on me.
I apologize to the ladies of SUFA and any children who might be watching.
Don’t stick me with the Q label. He is your boogie man. All I know is what you leftist rant about.
Viva the fascist! She’ll fit right at home here. 🙂
If it is Faux Populist rhetoric then why is the left spending so much time trying to trash it???
You know who hates Nationalism? The Socialists.
If the left aren’t real careful they may popularize Fascism around the world. All it will take is a few charismatic leaders who do good things for their people, who succeed in making their countries better places.
When that happens the left will be overrun and then we might just see an actual tyrant emerge under the Nationalism banner.
Somebody here does not know shit about shinola whatever in the hell that meant to my Dad.
It was shit from shinola. Which meant they couldn’t tell the difference between a Shoe Shine product and the other brown cream on their shoes.
I had forgotten that relationship. Grazie.
Lot’s of innocent people get killed in minefields, men, women and children. Hell people are still being blown up in Viet-nam, Korea and even Europe by unexploded ordinance left behind, even WW 1 stuff. Several years back a house was destroyed in PA because some dude decided a Civil War artillery shell, dug up 125 years later was safe to dissemble. Princess Di was an advocate of clearing these old fields and when the need for them no longer existed they should have been cleared.
I am sure the Colonel could give us a running total of the number of dead kids found in the Rio Grande or inside our border. I doubt Mexico could give us a total but I suspect it is much higher. Seems to me I have seen the figure 5,000 over the past few years bandied about.
As usual, the usual blowhard has no clue of what he is talking about here. What is it that old Senator Kennedy the rapist used to say, “If we could save only ONE life, it would be worth it”. You can fill in the various blanks on the various things that are worth it from guns to fast cars, to swimming pools, to kitchen knives to 5 gallon compound buckets filled with water. What apparently is NOT on the list is Fentanyl.
Back in the good ole days at Ft. Lost in the Woods, we used dummy mines with a det cap inside to teach us about walking in a minefield. Sure we would have to post warnings in some 150 languages and use verbal warnings for the illiterate but what the hell. Cheaper by far than the thousands who will die of drug poisonings or suicide or overdose through despair because their minimum wage job was yanked out from under them. Hell, if you don’t like the big mine and resounding BOOM we could use ordinary M-14 toe poppers have about 5,000,000 in stock. What’s a few toes?
https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/M14_mine
Right, because being the genius and King of the anecdote you are, you claim all the Fentanyl deaths come from outside the border … how about all the opioid deaths from within the Good Old US&A … pay a fine and destroy a few million lives. That’s cool though because it’s inside our borders. Yeah, you’re an icon of morality, my man. 🙂
Still waiting on you gals and pals to comment on the REPUBLICANS who stole Welfare money … and the hero, Brett Favre vs. Colin Kaepernick. Imagine, taking a knew vs. stealing MILLIONS. 🙂
Your question is called a Republican bounce. Reporters use it as a means of getting a quote that they can use to get a Republican to throw another under the bus or to use in denigrating all Republicans. I have not followed the Favre case. If he broke the law, then the authorities should take care of it. As for Kaepernick, once he puts on the uniform and steps on the field, his one and only job is to put butts in the seats. He failed and for that he should have been fired. No company would permit an employee to cost the company significant revenue losses for such a display. There are 168 hrs in a week. The weekly game is under 5 hrs. He had 163 remaining hours to express his political views.
Pounce not bounce
The new John Galt:
Where’s Jackie Walorski?
We are in some deep shinola.
Biden’s one success story may be making a virtually unknown politician famous. She may soon become a household name.
Holy shinola! I finally came back alive and reported back to work for the first time since 9/11. Left here earlier today with 143 comments on board. You guys didn’t stop yapping all day. 213 as I type. Guess I better make dinner before settling in to SUFA. Hope Charlie didn’t piss me off while I was gone! Good news Charlie…’ol Bezos gave us all a raise today 🙂
Welcome back to the land of the healthy. Hopefully it will stick.
So glad you recovered my dear.
Thanks, JAC. SUFA was a huge refuge for me while the rest of the world isolated me to my bedroom. That is a big mind game being isolated like that. I’m normally at peace being by myself, but that was something totally different. GMan was on my mind a lot too. Never physically felt I was near death, but the grim reaper was around, if only in my head. Glad to be back at it.
Interesting, given that the Govt’s recommended dietary requirements have been shown to be UNHEALTHY for many. The food triangle was upside down, for example.
So you have a Govt. entity deciding what is a good diet then a Govt. entity using its POWER to dictate who can call their products healthy. Based on the other Govt. entities recommendations.
So much potential Tyranny to cover with this one. Starting with Censorship.
https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/3665738-fda-proposes-new-rules-for-healthy-label-on-food-packaging/
I would not believe anything Bacerra says. I eat what I want to eat and ignore the government dictates. Woody Allen’s “Sleeper” had it right. Eggs are bad then their good. Butter is bad and oleo margarine is good but now its bad. Real meat is bad so we need to eat fake meat and whatever that contains. Never!
I have a years worth of corn in the freezer and 6 varieties of preservative free pickles on the shelf. We’ve had tomatoes and peppers all summer. Just picked the first zucchinis and have cantaloupes growing as well as lettuce, radishes, garlic, beans, cabbage, potatoes, and broccoli.
I don’t buy frozen meals, but cook from scratch. I even make pancakes for scratch and occasionally bake bread. I have a freezer full of meat so if things get rough I have some cushion. And if the deer do not stay out of my potatoes, maybe we will have venison too.
My grocery bill would be less if I could eat more venison. Daughter and son in law enjoy a good TBone occasionally but otherwise they eat venison. For me, I’m done with it after a couple bites, unless its jerky, then stand back. That’s a tough deal having to defend your potatoes, but get ’em TRay.
An apparent honorable loser!
Let the howling begin.
https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2022/09/27/melonis-liberal-opponent-nascent-fascism-in-italy-is-absolutely-fake-news-n499320
And that’s why they’re called FAKE. I hear the howling already.
JAC,
The promised pet theory….
First, some table setting…
1. Some people are just crazy. Nuts. Three fries short of a happy meal.
2. Some people are just bandwagoneers. They see a trend and they hop on board.
3. Some people don’t know who they’re or what they want and latch onto [thing] that they hope will improve their lives.
4. Some people have gender/body dysphoria – used here as a medical terms as recognized by the scientific community.
5. I make no claims regarding the distribution or quantity of the above, only that they exist.
6. Such groups need not be exclusive – individuals can and do overlap into multiple such buckets and others besides.
Second: some more table setting, but in a different vein:
1. Biology is rarely binary. It almost always exists on a sliding scale. Skin is not black or white, but every shade in between.
1a. This is true of mental traits as well. A person is not kind or mean, smart or dumb, etc, but every shade in between.
2. It is almost certain that, like virtually all other ‘personality traits’, biologically-disposed sexal preference (that is hetero-to-homosexuality) exists on this sliding scale. Let’s say from 0 (100% hetero) to 10 (100 homosexual). (Note: I make no claim regarding the natural distribution thereon – only that such a distribution exists)
3. Sexual preference, like virtually all preferences, exists as an intersection of genetic-predisposition and societal-norms – that is, nature and nurture.
4. Societal pressure can and does influence genetic predispositions (eg obesity was viewed as attractive in ancient Rome, but not modern America) and vice versa (eg, that only goes so far – a person genetically disposed to one preference cannot be completely altered by society’s expectations).
5. Given the above, a society hostile to homosexuality will exert pressure leftward, toward zero. A biological-2 will shift to a phenotypical-0, having lost its weak predisposition toward bisexuality.
6. Conversely, a society wherein bisexuality or homosexuality were viewed as “cool” would exert a pressure toward the center or rightward, respectively.
7. But in neither case (#5 or #6) will this pressure, generally, be sufficient to move a genetic-predisposition “too far” – there are limits. You cannot turn a gay man straight or vice-versa.
Let’s pause there for a moment for thoughts and feedback before moving forward.
DPM
I like your table setting. I will add a few thoughts and then let you decide whether they fit and/or how.
1. The characterization of people is missing one group. The Zealots and/or Do Gooders. I think they are separate from just the crazy ones and they don’t go along, they try to drive the bus.
2. I believe everyone here agrees that there is such a thing as gender dysphoria. It, like many other mental disorders, as we commonly call them, do have a genetic root but some can be caused by external experiences. Such as trauma. Sexual behavior, as opposed to actual identification, can be driven by these societal effects. So I think more than just “norms” can be at play.
3. Related to #2. Sexual acts are not an involuntary reflex. They involve mental capacity and choice. Thus someone who is Gay can decide to be Straight, in their behavior. But this can have a mental cost.
4. I would say that social pressure will interact with genetic predisposition. Not influence it. What it affects is the “behavior” and then the “psychology” of the individual.
5. While there may be limits to how far people will move, under social pressure, I fear it may be farther than we think. I guess it depends on a lot of the other characteristics you mentioned. Especially given we are talking about not just sexual identity but sexual behavior. The desire for pleasure can be very powerful without those societal constraints you mentioned. This discussion is probably more suited to the next step in your theory.
6. This could have been under #1. There are those people who seem predisposed to rebellion against rules, authority, etc. I am not sure this tendency in humans is related to the other characteristics you listed or separate. I am not sure this trait is associated with individual feelings about identity, but it sure does play a role in how the social pressure is mobilized.
These are but a few thoughts for now. I suggest you take them and add or modify your list, if you think they fit in some way. That way we won’t be chasing squirrels until the actual hunt begins.
This is your theory and I would like to keep it clean in that regard.
Making note of your comments and, neither agreeing nor disagreeing at this time, let’s press forward….
AXIOM: There are three axes along which we may evaluate the topic(s) at hand. These are (A) sexual preference (B) sexual identity, and (C) the oft neglected sexual drive.
FIRST: From the above, we can see clear delineations of the key characteristics. And, while they may have a certain interplay / interconnectedness / correlation, I will not address that here. Thus we have:
1. A sliding scale from heterosexual to homosexual and everything in between.
2. A sliding scale between cisnormative to transsexual. And everything in between.
3. A sliding scale between nymphomanic sex drive and asexuality.
TERMINOLOGY / FRAMING: Each axis, were we to plot them in three dimensions could be asserted to bae from 0-10, rendering a “possibility space” wherein every human being in existence could be plotted.
SECOND: To correlate with the above, the middle grounds give us, respectively:
1a. Bisexuality / amibisexuality / polysexuality (I admit to being somewhat hazy on the distinctions).
2a. Gender fluid / non-binary. Also intersex – that is hermaphrodic or having other chromosomal abnormalities.
2b. Note, XX vs XY is not the unilateral distinction here that people often make it out to be. An XX may sometimes express as an XY. There is a certain percentage of “men” out there who were born male, never questioned it, have male anatomy, but are genetically female. Consequently, you may operate either on the “what is in your pants” or “what is in your genes” models for this axis, but you may not conflate them. I think the most productive approach for this conversation is the “what was in your pants at birth” framing.
3a. A “typical” sex drive.
THIRD: various follow-ons:
1. A person can be aware or unaware of various traits. We may consider the possibility space from either perspective, but we should be cognizant of whether we’re including repressed phenotypes or not.
2. A person’s location within the possibility space is not necessarily fixed over time. It should be thought of only as a snapshot. Or, if you prefer to give your mind’s eye an aneurysm, time is a 4th dimensional axis.
3. Societal pressures blow like a wind along various axes. And at various strengths. A child raised in a biblically-orthodox house may face a far more vigorous pressure than one with gay parents in San Francisco. This exists at a pressure system unique to each individual.
4. Individuals will react to the force of societal pressure individually. Some will be more receptive others less. Some will move freely left/right, but never up/down. And so forth.
5. Thus the “wind” can blow harder or softer in any direction AND the ship upon which they blow may or may not be mobile in that direction.
6. In recognition of the very first set of principles (the one starting with the recognition that there are nuts), people’s reactions to the pressures and influences of society will be idiosyncratic. For example, a child raised to be chaste may rebel and become overly promiscuous.
7. Despite the forgoing (#4-6), IN GENERAL, in the most general sense possible, the winds will, by and large, blow in mostly comparable directions in any given society and people will IN GENERAL, in the most general sense, tend to move to some modest degree in that direction.
FOURTH: “having a trait” and “acting on that trait” are not the same thing. We are speaking here about WHO the person is and where they exist in the possibility space. Not how they act. For example a gay man in Iran may never engage in homosexual activity for fear of being executed and may even take a wife – but that wouldn’t make him heterosexual.
————–
As before, I make no assertions with regard to any distribution of the population, whether ‘naturally’ or under the influence of societal pressure, therein. Only that such a “possibility space” does exist as a framework and that we’re all in there somewhere.
————–
Let us pause again here for reflection and feedback.
I want to focus on just one thing for now. Something seems off with your axis.
So far we have a mixing of the biological with feelings or desires, or “preferences”.
Perhaps it would be better to clean up the axis definitions. So as to avoid placing things which are manifested from genetics in more than one axis.
Let’s start with Genetics. I agree there are instances where XX and XY do not align with a persons genetic makeup. So if we had a scale for genetic makeup would it look like XX, YX, XY, YY? Or would it be something else.I recall reading that there may be other combinations possible.
As preference you seem to use homo vs. hetero sexuality. Single sex partners, whether they be of the same or different sex. But the preference is one type only. But that would indicate a singular point at opposite ends of the axis. Meanwhile, the genetic makeup of homosexuals could be any of the above genotypes.
Perhaps more narrow definitions of the terms you use for the axis and scales is needed. Help me out here before you move on.
I assume you are trying to build a graph that captures everyone. But what is it your trying to capture. Graphs denote relationships of some kind. Even if only statistical. I guess it is really not evident to me that you can build a graph, especially three dimensional, that captures “sexuality” in someway.
Let us digress a little bit.
I promised you, after all not a wholistic Grand Unified Theory of Human Sexuality (“GUTHS”), but rather my Pet Theory on Transsexuality (“PToT”).
So – while I do appreciate your above comments, and do think they are pertinent to the broader GUTHS, they are less so for PToT.
Why I think the broader framing – which I’ll agree would do well to be refined somewhat, thus my reticence to “publish” it as it were – is important is because it bifurcates the aspects that are often conflated in conversations of being and understanding trans.
That is, taken in this framework, the cis-to-trans axis has correlations, sure, but no direct bearing on either sexual preference or sexual drive. That is, to put it simply, that it has no bearing on sexual partners. It is about the self. Does this make sense?
Who you want to do things to, and how much (axes X and Y) are about relationships with others. But axis Z, which we will now firmly re-label as “gender” (this is simply an orthogonal view of the same axis.. from “how unlike your biological-sex are you” to “what actually ARE you, insofar as it is something distinct from your biological-sex”).
Importantly, because of this, the notion that there is something inherently sexualizing or “grooming” in such a topic is shown incongruous.
To take a beat and consider what I just said two paragraphs ago, we can see clearly the bifurcation between “Sex” (what you were born as) and “gender.” But what does it even MEAN to be any “gender” if not “your sex”? Well, if we accept that you can be “not your sex” insofar as trans is a thing that exists and that people are, then it must be SOMETHING.
And that leads – at long last into my PToT. The “what is that something?” But, at least, we know what it CANNOT be. It cannot be sex drive, sexual preference, or what you are born as (ie, what was in your diapers). But if it’s none of those things, then what CAN it be?
I lied when I said we were there at last.. I must pause, yet again, for what I hope is the final time, and ask you this question: “What does it mean, to you, to be a man? Or a woman?” In general terms – I won’t hold you too strictly to your responses.
And, to be clear, I don’t mean it in the sense of “has [specific] anatomy.” When you think of someone “be a man” or “act like a lady” what do you mean? Are there manly behaviors and behaviors that seem “off” when done by a man that would be perfectly normal from a woman? When you think of the aisles in at Toy r Us, what is in the boy’s aisle and what is in the girls’ aisle? Are there manly jobs and pink-collar jobs? What kinds of toys are the “boy” toy in the McDonald’s happy meal, what is in the “girl’s” happy meal? What games to boys play vs games that girls play? What does “boys will be boys” mean to you? What kinds of clothes to men wear? What about women? Sure, girls watch sports, but is that more of a male pursuit or female? What of drawing rainbow unicorns? What is your reaction to seeing a man cry? Does your gut reaction, before your logic circuits kick in, differ if a man hits a woman vs a woman hits a man? And, if not you, personally, to the above, then freely substitute what you think “society” thinks.
And while you’re answering that… consider this as well: (A) how have these things changed since you were a child and (B) what, if anything, in the above is actual moral stance that it is “right” or “wrong” to be one way or the other?

I do apologize for the length of all this – I am trying to form the thoughts as I work through it.. so some of this will have just been the idle misfires of my old brain. Appreciate you working through it with me…
Where did you dig up that old Monte Python? LMAO.
I knew from the start that my version of “man” did not align with the guy in a tailored fir hat and last centuries version of skinny jeans.
Yes, that was just some off the cuff fun. Will get back to you shortly as I try to give your question the attention they deserve.
And, it is my pleasure to discuss these things with you, or work thru them as you like.
It’s nice to know people click on my random links.

First, I misunderstood your goal. I thought you were trying to wrap all the sexual stuff together. Sorry. So let us ONLY deal with Transgender (PToT).
So I see some pitfalls or barriers to common understanding and acceptance.
1. Your use of “gender” to indicate what one feels rather than what they are biologically. I know the term has morphed in recent times. In fact it referred only to forms of language until about midway through the last century. And then it was proposed that certain “behavior” might be linked to biological sex. This they termed “gender.”. But even then there were two sexes and two corresponding genders. This is captured in the following Wikipedia entry:
“The social sciences have a branch devoted to gender studies. Other sciences, such as sexology and neuroscience, are also interested in the subject. The social sciences sometimes approach gender as a social construct, and gender studies particularly do, while research in the natural sciences investigates whether biological differences in females and males influence the development of gender in humans; both inform the debate about how far biological differences influence the formation of gender identity and gendered behavior. ”
Because I have studied how political groups have deliberately messed with language I am generally adverse to “new meanings” for “old words”. Even in Govt. documents we see that sex was male and female and gender was based on sex, with male = boy/man and female = girl/woman. That is up until 2010 when certain activists started rewriting Govt. documents and policies.
Remember, this was one of my issues with “marriage”. If the meaning of words is to fluid language becomes useless.
I also think if one embarks on such a noble effort as developing major theories about things, like your PToT, they should be more in line with traditional definitions and uses. Otherwise you are just falling for the latest fad based on general political whims. That would be that “wind” you referenced.
Boy, that was a lot of words just to say I think you should use “Gender Identity” instead of just gender. This is consistent with what I think is our shared view of “Identity.” Which is the essence of who I am. How I view myself, my own self esteem, ego, how I feel about myself, etc., etc..
2. I think the following is false, or at least incomplete and thus a problem.
“Importantly, because of this, the notion that there is something inherently sexualizing or “grooming” in such a topic is shown incongruous.”
You are claiming that outside influences cannot dictate your sexual identity. Given all the claims by various activist groups, especially NOW, you are at odds with their “social science” claims.
As you admitted, culture or nurture as you put it can have an influence but we can’t know exactly what extent that might be. And it could vary by individual. Some are just more malleable or susceptible than others to being influenced. Which in itself is probably due in part to genetics and part to socialization, especially the influences during childhood.
This particular sticking point is probably not important in this phase of your PToT. But it will be critical to what it means in the end. When you get there I think you need to recognize that there are “identities” which are pretty firm and others that are more “malleable”. The science shows that you can push young people in certain directions. If that “constructed identity” is in conflict with the “real identity” a deep psychosis can develop. That is if they start to recognize the real one. This is in fact, the exact same thing that happened to those who truly identified as the opposite sex but were “socialized” into denying their inner self or “real identity”.
There is also the issue that the use of the term “grooming” is not entirely aimed at the issue of making children “become” Trans. As the stuff I posted the other day shows, it is the sexualization of children through teaching to much specifics, and in overemphasizing it, that “conditions” children for later exploitation. Two different issues linked to the same “educational curriculum” or “teaching methods.”
Now with that I am going to pass on spending time talking about me. That could be a different discussion, maybe! 🙂 I defer because I have stipulated that there is a complex interaction of many factors which makes up one’s “personal” identity. And I accept that sexual orientation as well as “gender identity” can be part of that identity. The ESSENCE of who you are.
DPM
For your consideration.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/conditions/gender-dysphoria
I found it interesting that “dysphoria” can only be diagnosed if there is serious emotional problems (distress) leading to anti social behavior. This means that the term “gender dysphoria” has been misused by some critics. Surprise, surprise.
These things are constantly evolving. It is why we’re on DSM-V, not DSM-I… with a DSM-VI due to be released, I believe, next year.
But, yes, color me shocked that lay usage of a term varies from the accepted medical definitions.
DPM
Jest read the whole thing again. Missed a key issue.
Your FOURTH. The analogy is good but I notice we are not using the same terms in the same way.
Homosexual vs. Heterosexual denotes BEHAVIOR in my mind. Not IDENTITY.
Thus you have someone whose psychic make up, supposedly due to genetics, is towards same sex (homo). But their behavior is opposite sex (hetero).
Maybe what you are trying to convey is much simpler. There is what people feel or desire. How much of that is genetic based and how much social norms based, or how much due to some other psychopathy? The latter would be where we get into damage due to abuse or other trauma, as well as the mentally handicapped (although that has a genetic link).
Correct.
I think this is fundamentally unknowable. People are too idiosyncratic and their circumstances too unique.
The best I think we can do is accept the generality I laid out.. that here IS an intersection of nature and nurture and that nature sets the stage while nuture blows like a wind in various directions at various strengths. And that, IN GENERAL, society-wide, this pushes the distribution of people in certain directions along certain axes to some degree.
All true, but again, fundamentally unknowable and, I think, broadly speaking outside the scope of the PToT.
Interesting onversation….
Of course it is. I made it.
“There is what people feel or desire. How much of that is genetic based and how much social norms based, or how much due to some other psychopathy? …”
My question, JAC, would be: How much of it is any of your business?
Well since the Pirate asked me, that would be 100%.
DPM
Thought just raced by so I will share. Humans have three parts, when we look at behaviors like sex.
What they are: genetic makeup
What they feel they are: psychological manifestation of genetic makeup.
What they want to be: The interaction of What, Feel, and external forces.
Or maybe on this particular topic there are only two meaningful categories.
Which sex partners you want, “sexual preference”.
Which sex do you want to be “sexual identity”.
All the other things listed so far really are vectors which could affect either or both of these categories.
Over prescription of opioids and synthetic opioids, for those not following the news have been noted and dealt with. Massive fines have been levied and some people should have gone to jail but have not. Since we have tightened up, the problem has now devolved to non-prescription counterfeit opioids which are all coming from South of the border and west of Japan.
Get with current news and stop reading five year old copies of the WP and NYT. Several years back, every third house in depressed rural areas seemed to have meth lab. That particular problem has been subsumed in this new disaster. I would be very happy to learn the names or suspected names of domestic fentanyl producers if you can find them. It seems they are not Laroche labs or Smith, Kline and French pharmaceuticals.
There are numerous books out there, many authors have regularly appeared on C-Span to discuss the WHY’s of the current addiction phenomena and more importantly the known risks of fentanyl poisoning which seem to have damned little effect on people’s desire to try them out.
So again, it comes down to WHY a bright high school or college kid, familiar with high school chemistry would ever take a chance on a pill ordered off Craig’s list normally requiring a prescription but which will be personally delivered to your front door by some scumsucker in his Uber.
Listen folks, Mr. Allinsky may damned well make fun of people who point out facts by calling them speculation or anecdotes BUT the news is out there and if you just don’t give a flying crap because it does NOT effect you, it will damn well effect you soon enough.
Of course, one could pretend faux news made this all up, if you were an —–:

So, lets go kill some people at the border and feel better! 🙂
I’m in…but, only those that need killing.
And who gets to determine that, sir?
Those on the front line….come across the Rio with an Ak 47, for instance. You will get shot.

Aside from DPM, who must have shifty eyes, I remember you mentioning you can see it in their eyes … What if you see it in their eyes but they’re not carrying an AK-47?
What if you see it in their eyes but they’re not carrying an AK-47?
Then you do not shoot….you utilize other methods.
Okay. I can live with that. But not all in law enforcement tend to wait for anything … especially when dealing with people of color.
Me, of course.
Scan and scan and scan for negative news about the failures of this administration and you will find about as many stories in the biased press as you would in any other authoritarian regime where the media walks hand in glove with their benefactors.
I’m pretty sure Faux does not hire “actors” to play DEA agents of ICE agents but I do remember those kid actors from Kanada that Kamalah hired.
Looks like Fentanyl has a few producers … and routes into the US&A.

I get a kick out how often you think your sources somehow refute the point being made, when they really don’t.
China has been driving this bus, with Cartels in Central America and Mexico taking the last shift. Now it looks like India is getting into the game, of supplying the Cartels in Mexico/Central America.
Your own citation clearly states that China and Mexico/Central America are the primary sources of this epidemic to date.
I am starting to think that if SK or others of us posted that the sky was blue you would spend half the day saying otherwise, and eventually tie our claim of blue to us killing children someplace.
Actually, JAC, what you and SK and maybe the Colonel constantly claim is that Fentanyl comes from Mexico almost exclusively; that it is the big killer of American “kids” and that it is somehow related to immigrants crossing the border and not some crafty drug cartels finding a way in anyway (think back to the 80’s and cocaine distributed to Florida (among other places) from Columbia. As for the killing of children … 🙂 Hey, I wasn’t the one who said I’d place mines on the border … that Nazi shit is all SKs … SMILEY FACE.
And then there’s this from the same source: “Fentanyl was first developed in 1959 and introduced in the 1960s as an intravenous anesthetic. It is legally manufactured and distributed in the United States. Licit fentanyl pharmaceutical products are diverted via theft, fraudulent prescriptions, and illicit distribution by patients, physicians, and pharmacists.”
I have to wonder if it is already being produced within the U.S. … I mean, it’s not like we don’t sport the world’s greatest innovators … you know, that capitalism incentive system. 🙂
charlie
Why do you have to resort to lying? I cannot remember ever writing anything about this drug. Maybe a response or two to others but I have never made claims about its abundance or path of entry. Until you posted the the citation above. Which clearly states that the China to Mexico connection is the predominate problem.
The Colonel has always linked the drugs entry to Cartels. Which he constantly tells everyone has become the primary POWER on the border.
The drugs entry is due to the lax border enforcement. There can be no doubt about that. Would it still get in if we stopped immigration altogether. Probably. But are you going to sit there and claim it wouldn’t affect anything??
Cmon Man!
“Why do you have to resort to lying?” Where do you get lying from? If I used your name regarding Mexican drug trafficking, my bad. But you do complain A LOT about the border. Not sure about the drugs.
I think the “war on drugs” has been a disaster since day one. Legalize them in America. Do what you can regarding keeping illicit drugs out of the country (good luck with that–capitalism is as enticing to criminals as it is to hedge fund managers) … Legalize them here, set up programs for those with the drug addiction disease and see what happens. The way we deal with drugs today is a proven failure. We fill up prisons (why so many go private–das kapital) … and nothing is accomplished because the drugs will ALWAYS (not probably, JAC) find their way across every border … Seems we’re the only country to handle drugs and drug laws so terribly. And maybe instead of tossing those addicted to the stuff into the slammer, how about we send those responsible for the drug and its distribution in the first place? How about a corporation like Perdue Pharma and the scum that owns it, (the Sackler family), do some real time in a nice State Prison without the SHU. Just hand them jumpsuits, a bed roll, toilet paper, toothbrush, etc. … and maybe deter the TRUE criminals for a change?
Not a mention about the southern border, although I know it goes through there also (but not exclusively, as you pretend) … “The pipeline flows in another direction, as well, direct from Chinese laboratories to U.S. customers through the mail, bringing small, hard-to-detect packages of extremely pure fentanyl to suburban doorsteps.”
I think this is called a “Take Down”.
https://truthsocial.com/@CitizenFreePress/posts/109078323204724195
Truthsocial? Really? Talk about saying the sky is blue and so on … 🙂
Fun Fact: I was short DWAC a while back.
DWAC – Digital World Acquisition Corp – is called a SPAC or special purpose acquisition vehicle. Its job is to short-circuit the process of getting a company listed on a stock exchange and funded via IPO.
The madness goes as follows:
* DWAC has no operations, no “business” at all per se, so the filing to register and get listed is both quick and easy.
* It has an IPO and raises a bucket load of cash.
* DWAC goes out and acquires a company. In this case, Truth Social.
* DWAC, which owns Truth Social, now changes its name to Truth Social Holding Co or some such.
Et viola! Truth social is listed on the stock exchange faster and with almost no regulatory oversight. It never even has to open its books or disclose a thing.
Anyway, because DWAC was buying Truth Social, I shorted it. And it DID go down.. but there were so many people shorting it that the cost to borrow the stock * sucked all the profits out of it.
I wound up making [checks notes] about $4 on it.
———————
* The SEC, in its infinite wisdom has decreed that you cannot just “short” a stock. You must borrow it from someone who owns it in order to do so. This (in theory, though not in reality) means that you cannot have a naked short and that shorts can never exceed longs. In theory, this limits volatility and instability due to reckless speculation. In practice, it just means shorting is more expensive, which exerts an upward pressure on all stocks. This last, I suspect, was the true purpose of the rule.
I think you are probably correct in your conclusion. Along with the big boys wanting to be protected against crazy folks driving the price down for the fun of it, or to get even.
So you dismissed her own words because of the site it was posted on??
Good grief.
Sure was. Wow. Time for a bunch of men to take some lessons from the strong females we’ve seen the last couple days.
I found myself watching Redneck Repo while down with the bug. One of the girls on the repo team can take it to them with her body and her mouth, redneck style. Love it.
What is Orange Jesus so afraid of? I don’t understand how such a strong manly sort of man, someone his supporters pose with a Rocky Balboa body, a machine gun in his hand, riding a wild horse … what could he possibly be afraid of, Herr Trump?
https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/29/politics/trump-special-master-request-doj-inventory/index.html
Why would “fear” of anything have to do with his opposition to this?
Would you certify in court to something you could not prove?
Did you happen to notice that this article kind of muddles what it is the Special Master is asking for? How can Trump certify that the inventory provided by the FBI is the actual inventory? He could only do that if he had an inventory from which to compare. I doubt he does, if everything you and others say about his management style is true.
The below is Mathius’ final post on social media before he went missing.
If you or anyone you know has information on his whereabouts, please keep it to yourself – we don’t want him back.

The SYNDROME is strong in this one.
You know what Joe Biden did do? He called the Mayors of cities in Florida and did NOT call the Governor. Despite the Governor being the guy in charge of the State response. Only after the Governor shamed him in public did the POTUS call.
Now are ya’ll going to tell me that was not petty?
Sure! Why not? We live in the BECAUSEISAYSO era.
Now, NOT 2020 but if you can steal one election (or small number of crucial precincts) you can steal another!

Of course it is “the Epoch Times” but then again their reporting is based on court records not how they feel at the moment.
Yes, not 2020 … and maybe, like the two judges in PA who were sentenced to life for extending the sentences of juveniles while getting kickbacks from private prisons, the deterrent was set when the moron stuffing the ballot boxes was sentenced to actual jail time (whether he did it or not).
“For example, former U.S. Rep. Michael “Ozzie” Myers, a Pennsylvania Democrat, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election, and orchestrating schemes to fraudulently stuff ballot boxes for specific Democrat candidates in Pennsylvania elections held from 2014 to 2018.
Myers was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond to 30 months in prison, three years supervised release, and ordered to pay $100,000 in fines, with $10,000 of that due immediately, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero.”
Based on what I saw during the Knucklehead Revolution, I don’t think they had many in that crowd who could afford $100,000 in fines. 🙂

Where, in the annals of accounting, does anyone think you can leverage inflation by spending? That is what Biden’s guru says…..”leverage” inflation by spending,,,,,
I think I just had a stroke reading that…. WHAT?
Yes, and the lad kept a straight face while making that claim. I’m still recovering.
I’d have to read the context but I could see “leverage inflation by spending” in the sense of receiving benefit now for fixed-dollar commitments later…?
If I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.. and assuming that you don’t charge interest.. then the dollars I pay you with on Tuesday will be cheaper. I could get a lot of benefit by buying today and paying with future-cheaper-dollars. That could be “leveraging inflation by spending,” I guess…?
Maybe but this was said in context with more covid type aid and writing checks like before…..
Something well worth watching. Of course, it would be a bad thing, a very bad thing indeed for me to point out that the modern, left leaning “progressive” bears an uncanny resemblance to a fascist, a brown shirted fascist at that but then again, who was it who said that “actions speak louder than words”?

Good on them. Since Americans in some states have to sign loyalty pledges (essentially) to Israel and can’t go near BDS while Israel operates an open air concentration camp (as Nazi as it gets) … an American with a Palestinian family was fired from her teaching position a few years ago and eventually won her case, but she wasn’t the only one. Anyone reporting on the situation in GAZA has been pushed to the margins by the corporate media. It’s fine and Dandy for the US&A to support fascist/tyrannical and blatant human rights abusers, but we’re the champions of democracy? Yeah, sure we are. Ah, Texas … so liberty loving …
From 2018: https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20181218-texas-teacher-fired-for-refusing-to-sign-anti-bds-oath/
Perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with Texas…….I have long lamented that in Texas has its liberal experiment…..it is an area to include Austin, Georgetown, and Pflugerville. The Pflugerville Independent School District, one of the most liberal areas in our experiment, is where this took place.
Our freedom loving courts over turned this….rightly so. This same liberal school district has a very tarnished history of excluding blacks as well…..
I know they lost the case, but how do you explain so many states (17 at my last count) having anti-BDS laws in place … 28 have anti-protests near or on Big Oil Property.
“Berkeley Develops Jewish-Free Zones”
Is NOT the same thing as
“never invite any speakers that support Israel or Zionism.”
One can readily be a Jew and not support Israel or Zionism**. Likewise, on can support certain aspects and not others. To presume the two are equivalent is to treat millions of Jews as a monolith which, I assure you, they are not.*
That said, I find this stupid. Don’t invite speakers you don’t want – but to specifically configure your rules so that you can never hear the other side of the argument… seems like flawed thinking to me.
I suppose I could see this as at least “understandable” where the topic is absolutely black and white, and where doing so is done as a way of virtue signaling. “Yes, we have banned all Nazis from Pirate Universaity.” But the questions around Israel’s existence, their tactics, and Zionism in general are faaar murkier. All this does is cut off any hope of legitimate discourse.
———-
* In fact, there is no group of people in the history of the human race who like to argue more than the Jews.
** Mathius, for example, holds conflicted views on Israel… but, to be fair, he’s*** a really terrible Jew.
*** Or “was,” anyway.
““never invite any speakers that support Israel or Zionism.”
It could be a response to what Universities have done/continue to do to people like Abby Martin (she had to sue over such an issue). The documentary she was pushing, Gaza fights for freedom, was totally marginalized and when she was to give lectures on it, she was told, “no thanks.”

JAC,
PToT… ok… let’s try to tie this all together now within the (admittedly incomplete) framework I’ve provided. We may agree that it’s not quite “there” yet, but I think the structure and “bones” are pretty solid.
<a href="“Nonetheless… PToT… And this is the actual last step in this theory…
So when we looked at the Z axis as “cis-vs-trans,” we have to take a moment and consider what “cis” and “trans” mean. Cis means ‘on this side’ and trans ”on the other side’. While I find the choice of terminology to be somewhat at-odds wth the latin roots, what’s instructive is that these are comparisons. Like “greater” or “less” or “taller” or “faster” or “bigger,” these words necessarily exist as a comparison between two things and not ends in-and-of-themselves..
So I hark back to “what are they comparing?” One side, obviously, is the “what is in your pants” version of sex. But the other………..?
Herein, at long last, is the crux… and it’s why I asked you about what it means to “be a man” or “act like a lady” and so forth. Because I don’t think “gender” in this parlance actually has any intrinsic meaning.
Gender/body dysphoria is a different animal. That is a mental condition characterized by a discomfort with the physical aspects of your body.
But not all trans folks undergo sex reassignment surgery, take hormone blockers, etc. So the two must be distinct in some way.
And what I think that way is this:
When Mathius’ daughter, was maybe 3, she firmly asserted that she wasn’t a girl. She was a boy. But she she was about 3 and, like all 3 year olds, had no idea what she was talking about. It took a fair amount of cajoling and careful questioning, but eventually it became clear: “girls,” she had come to understand, “wear pink” and “wear dresses” and “act nice [demurely]” and get rescued from dragons” and “spend all their time talking” and “sow” and and and and.
But she didn’t want to be rescued from the dragon – she wanted to fight the dragon. She didn’t want to knit, she wanted to hit a ball.
What I’m describing, of course, you might recognize as “being a tom-boy” And once she understood that she could “be herself” and still be a girl, all the issues went away. But she, as a young child, felt that these were not options for her because she was a girl.
Put another way, she’d been born into “Girl” mold.. but that was clearly the wrong mold.. so she thought she needed to move to “Boy” mold. She didn’t understand that “fuck that, I’ll do what I want and to hell with anyone who judges me” was an option.
———-
But that is an observation made at a very young and impressionable age by an extremely bright and self-aware child… one with incredible expressive language. This kind of introspection and comprehension of such nuances is not available to the vast majority of people.
Now, her childhood experience hinged on only just the begging of the pressures of society to conform to molds. Disney movies with princesses (female) and hero princes (male). Fairly tales reinforcing the theme. Teachers (and mom and grandma) who were all females.. but daddy and grandfathers who held “real” office jobs and made the money that provides for the families. Girls one way, boys another. It is ubiquitously reinforced throughout society.
A child, who develops under this societal pressure will, generally, over time, for broadly and generally speaking, tend to shift and develop their personalities into such buckets. Girls become “girlier.” Boys become “manlier.” Wherever they might have started out, this headwind pushes them to conform to societal expectations.
Yet, sometimes a person will come along and conclude as Mathius’ daughter did, that conforming is not an option. And when that happens they may either balk, as Mathius advised his child to do, or they may decide to conform.. just to conform to the bucket which they feel more closely resembles their “true self.”
Now, I trust you see where all this is going and how it all fits together:
Gender, taken this way, is a societal construct.. it’s the expectation that girls wear skirts and body wrestle and girls have long hair and boys don’t cry and and and. And then cis and train are simply comparisons of the “what is your pants” version of sex verse how well do you conform to societey’s mold.
———-
What I think is interesting is the explanatory power of this PToT.
Why are more people becoming trans? Because more people are aware that there an option exists to escape the mold they fit in.
Why has it increased? There has been, over the last several decade in particular, an increased emphasis on letting… no… encouraging people to be themselves, to be true to themselves.
PToT: The mismatch of a society pushing strong gender norms on people who are less willing to conform leads to an increase of people who both (A) balk and place themselves into special “snowflake” categories and (B) choose to conform.. but conform into the ‘other’ bucket which fits them better.
———-
What’s interesting, I think, is that if this is right, then trans is largely a temporary phenomenon except for the very small minority who possess clinical genetically-driven body dysphoria.
For everyone else, the rapid (and increasing?) breakdown of gender norms will reduce this effect.
In another conversation, not long ago, talking about gender norms and expectations, Mathius’ daughter said “[male friend] loves to draw – why would anyone make fun of him for that?”
But if I had “loved to draw” as a child.. unless it was comics of superhero punching dinosaurs or some other sufficiently manly pursuit, you can bet I would have been relentlessly ridiculed for it.
But the new generations don’t just “not think like that”… they don’t even “GET” the concept of thinking like that. To them, increasingly, it’s “who cares? Let people live their lives.” (a very Conservative (big-C) mindset).
And without this pressure to “be a man” or “act like a lady,” the PToT suggests that there will be far fewer reasons for anyone to actually care about their “gender” since gender (again, in this parlance) will be meaningless. Without a meaningful thing to “compare” to biological-sex, then how can there be a comparison at all? No comparison, no cis, no trans.. just people being themselves.

I guess you were raised in a different world than I. You have to remember I am the descendant of Viking stock, Scot/Swede. In my culture REAL MEN wear what ever the hell they want.
And we have long encouraged our women to fight and work along side of us. The girls can dress the same and play the same games. But we are also a “fair” race so we let them toss a smaller tree.
Aye… but let that man go out in public in America wearin’ his kilt and he’ll get a lot of funny looks.
People won’t be too hard on him because he might throw a ship-mast at them… but they’ll definitely stare.
Aye… but let that man go out in public in America wearin’ his kilt and he’ll get a lot of funny looks.
Maybe from women…..I think nothing of them but in the military, we are used to seeing kilts……

My pirate friend. I may have inadvertently blown a hole or two in your PToT Ship.
Your claim is that as enforcement of gender norms has decreased the number of Transgender has increased. But using your own anecdote, you would expect a decline in enforcing gender norms to decrease the number identifying as transgender. Because, as in your daughters case, they can do what they want without changing into the “other”.
I posit that there are more than one factor.
The weakening of gender roles – or, at least, the lessening of their rigidity – should, as you say, and as I agree, decrease the prevalence of trans folks under PToT.
However, this is a long-term trend. It is still VERY strong within society that there are specific roles and behaviors for the sexes – that the molds exist and are expected and deviation is, generally, punished (if only socially).
But you neglect the OTHER major driver. That, increasingly, people are being raised to understand that they do not have to accept the mold into which they have been placed, and into which society attempts to steer them.
This leads to a rise in people who will balk at held to such standards. Thus the increase in trans and other non-conforming / non-cis alignments.
What I posit is that the latter trend accelerated faster than the former, that it leads rather than trails, causing a short-term rise and a long-term fall.
Perhaps you mean Mathius’ daughter?
Regardless, she is a spectacular creature. Incredibly self-aware and introspective at such a young age. For her to recognize the forces acting upon her and then, once groked, be able to make the mental adjustment from “something is wrong with me” to “to hell with society’s expectations”.. that is , I think “the cure” such as one exists for the lion’s share of people with this condition.. but it is not necessarily accessible to all who would be so afflicted.
For starters, the psychology of 3 year olds is vastly more malleable than that of a teenager or adult. So, having recognized this misalignment between her “self” and the box into which she felt herself being shoved… and have treated it before this psychological dissonance could metastasize… that’s a very different animal than trying to treat an adult who has taken it into part of their core self-image that they are in the “wrong body.”
A person who grows up feeling “wrong” about their body, their gender, their place in society.. that becomes a part of the story they tell themselves about themselves… the WHO they are.. how they frame the world and society and their pace within it… a core component of their identity. Altering that post hoc… well, you might as well try to convince Charlie to become an archano-capitalist.
Generally I agree with all that you have written.
The very best way I have seen the issue put is as follows:
“Are you telling me that a child who still believes in Santa Claus and The Easter Bunny is capable of deciding what sex they are?
One of my most enjoyable undergrad courses (not so much grad course) was Social Psychology. My interest, which led to my major was actually sparked by the Eichmann trial in the early 60’s. Dad, a genius in almost everything, nor my neighbors who were Holocaust survivors could ever explain to me how an entire nation could go batshit crazy. I hoped that Psych would help explain that. In many ways it did. It taught me the power of suggestion, of being on the “right” side of an issue of a fad, all decked out with pretty symbols and positive re-enforcement and, at least in the initial phase of acting like an obnoxious shit with your middle finger up to the world.
Best thing I got out of my study was never to fall head over heels for anything without breaking it down and taking a real hard look. That is WHY I almost always ask WHY? If, I am going along with the crowd, the crowd had better have a damned good reason for doing what it is doing and an endgame. While initially supporting Iraq and Afghanistan, I soon learned that there was no end game for either. Even in my 50’s I fell for the thought, “surely they must have a plan”. Since the Powell-Weinberg doctrine had become so ingrained after Viet-nam I thought those idiots would stick with it. Little could I imagine that Wilsonian state building would make the comeback it did.
Now, you handled your daughter well but how would you like it if in Pre-school or Kindergarten a poorly trained teacher had encouraged her into full blown gender dysphoria? With parents too busy these days to raise their children, many kids look up more to their teacher than to the all too easily distracted Mom and dad. Never, ever underestimate the power of suggestibility. I always ask myself how many members of a lynch mob would act on their own if not surrounded by other weak minded suggestable morons.
Again, I think you mistake me for Mathius.. she’s his daughter, not mine.
Nonetheless, a few things stand out: (A) I do not believe this IS being done in preschool or kindergarten and (B) poorly trained teachers should ALWAYS be better trained or fired.
That said, I think, maybe we are talking across each other here.
Because there are, I think, broadly, two forces converging to create te current phenomenon:
(A) An increase in the number of people who are aware of the possibility to “leave their mold” (or who are more willing to do so due to the decreased social cost of doing so)
(B) An increase in the number of people raised with the mindset of it’s ok to “be yourself.”
Consider, for example, the cost to a boy when you were growing up, had he decided he wanted to take home-ec or join the cheer squad, etc. Yes, I’m sure you have an anecdote that went well, but generally speaking. Or of a girl who wanted to take woodshop and become a CEO. When you were a child, “deviating from your molds” was a significantly more stymatized phenomenon than it is today.
Add to that the increasing number of people who understand that it’s OK to be themselves. That they CAN be a boy on the cheer-squad (and they should – that’s where all the girls are!). That they can be a girl who works on cars. And that people shouldn’t judge them for it.
Taken together, some subset will say “fuck your mold” and do what they want- these are the tom-boys and such. But others will say “I just need to switch to the ‘right’ mold” – and then you get trans or any of the other variations.
So, again, I don’t think the problem is what’s being taught in school.
Generally speaking, what is being taught is “it’s ok to be you” and “you deserve to be loved” and “you should be kind to others for who they are” and “love they neighbor” and “don’t judge people for stupid shit” and all that Care Bear fluff. This is all actually good. I think it is GOOD for children to be taught this. It makes them better human beings.
The PROBLEM is the conflict between good things (“be yourself”) and bad things (“don’t be yourself – conform to this arbitrary mold”).
There may be – probably is – some idiot teacher out there saying stupid things – and they should be fired or retrained. But the Care Bear Kumbaya message is good and should be fostered until it, eventually, takes hold in society.
The PROBLEM is that these children are leaving the supportive nest of an inclusive classroom and encountering a world where all those idiotic gender roles still hold sway. THIS is where the dissonance comes from.
That sway may be decreasing – especially as, no offense, you old farts die off. And with it will go more of the psychological dissonance. And with it will go more of the dysphoria. But that is a longer-term matter.
Please stop with the anecdotes shit. Unless you can show where I am blowing smoke and either making things up or exaggerating them beyond belief, it is irrelevant. I’m sure that using the standard of the one not named Issac Newton was telling amusing anecdotes about apples too. Regarding the validity of anecdotes, to quote, Bond, James, “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action’.” In most of what I have seen and witnessed, it is never one thing but multiple things. As a matter of fact the nature of human is that we often forget things that seem minor if they occur once but multiple times re-enforces our memory. That is why I have such bad feelings about welfare fraud. I have seen it tens and tens of times and there has been no question be it housing vouchers, double dipping, food stamps, or school lunch programs. Ditto for corporate, specifically real estate fraud, seen it hundreds of times. Ditto bad behavior of politicians, that list is endless and much witnessed personally.
Growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s I must say that I never saw any particular pressure put on girls I knew NOT to go as far as they could. Thinking of my own female cousins, I had one nurse who parlayed her RN to a CEO slot, another who became a research chemist, another a school principal, another a small town PA mayor, another a successful small town (again in PA) realtor, another a business executive in teh medical field. Yes, we had three more who became Mom’s working lower wage jobs but that was by choice. My sister was a bigwig with NYC’s health and hospitals before becoming a consultant. All qualify as the old fart brigade yet I do not particularly think that the Trynosky-Yanacek elders, our parents (13 of them), with maybe three high school diplomas between them ever told their daughters they should be satisfied just being barefoot and pregnant. Three male cousins all entered teaching now considered a “woman’s profession”.
Frankly, it sounds like you are the one living in the past. 1930’s to be exact, pushing the crap that my immigrant grandparents must have done.
I remember actually taking flak from a neighbor about playing with my cousin’s doll house. Out of that, for me, came the ability to design some pretty cool apartments later in life and a great sense of space. When we moved from our palatial art deco apartment in ’77 with the 20 x 16 livingroom, I carefully explained to the bride that our livingroom furniture would never fit into the12 x 14 livingroom in our newly purchased cape cod. Sadly I was right, she was wrong and IT IS STILL MY FAULT. My Dad, the High School Jock, basically said screw the neighbors Ya see, he knew I also had a great interest in Aircraft Carriers and fighter jets.
You ducked the psych angle though. Gotta comment on that along with Beany Babies, Tulip crazes, pet rocks and Nazi’s.
More later. About to leave from the office. I only got as far as welfare fraud and wondered if you were talking about the REPUBLICANS in Mississippi and Brett Farve. Or doesn’t that count? 🙂
Please stop with the anecdotes shit. Unless you can show where I am blowing smoke and either making things up or exaggerating them beyond belief, it is irrelevant.
I point you to the NY Times, WaPo, etc., when they use “unnamed sources” … you give them ZERO credibility … why? Because it is anecdotal evidence/reporting. There is no name to place and/or fact to question.
Not all anecdotes are fugazi, I’ll give you that. Many of yours maybe fact based. I don’t doubt that either … but neither do I have to accept them as fact because you lay them down as such.
I’m sure that using the standard of the one not named Issac Newton was telling amusing anecdotes about apples too. Regarding the validity of anecdotes, to quote, Bond, James, “Once is happenstance. I agree. As long as you include corporations and REPUBLICANS along with DEMOCRATS who STEAL on an ongoing basis (although it is kind of curious how and why you excuse Herr Trump from all his stealing and gifting). That does NOT strengthen your case. Did you bother to read the 18 month investigation the NYTimes did on his daddy’s business dealings and how he handed his kids $400 million (not 1 million), etc. How about his fraudulent university and the charities they were robbing from? Does any of that bother you or do you REALLY believe it’s all bullshit and Trump is the one telling the truth about EVERYTHING?
Growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s I must say that I never saw any particular pressure put on girls I knew NOT to go as far as they could. I’m not sure what this was about except a SK historical review, but … I guess it has to do with barefoot and pregnant … which is kind of irrelevant, I think.
Frankly, it sounds like you are the one living in the past. 1930’s to be exact, pushing the crap that my immigrant grandparents must have done.
Once again, you lose me. What are you talking about? My mother’s grandfather jumped ship and was as illegal as they come. Then he had 4 daughters and 3 of them are MAGA-ites. One, my mother, was a Democrat. I no longer speak to the MAGA-ite sides of my family (all of them except 1 drug addicts and/or deadbeats). So it goes. 2 of my 3 kids are socialists. The Capitalist just learned a hard lesson when his hedge fund company did a tailspin and laid off ¾’s of their staff. They were French so he’s receiving his pay and health coverage until the end of the year (which is critical because he has leukemia). He won’t find another salary as high as the one he lost. So it goes. The billionaires behind the company, I’m sure, are fine. That was built into “our” system a LONG time ago. They day they open as a corporation, all that RISK you guys love to use as a fulcrum, gets flushed down the toilet.

Again, I have no idea what you’re referring to, SK.
You ducked the psych angle though. Gotta comment on that along with Beany Babies, Tulip crazes, pet rocks and Nazi’s.
I’m lost. What psych angle? Where are you going?
Talking to the one flying the Jolly Roger above. It references previous things discussed. Sorry if you are unable to follow along. Must be an age thing. I’ve seen it in others(anecdotal).
And maybe, per usual, you’re all over the place and get lost in your family anectodal history … but you are the King of them, so … 🙂
Yup and Trump colluded with Putin!
Yeah, but cute movie.
So was Monster University.
Should this really be OK with anyone? Yet I know people who defend this guy to the max.. Although I think it is simply in reaction to the anti-MAGA fog.

Setting aside the OBVIOUS bias of your lin (seriously, you need better sources of information!)… of course he enriched himself. Not just, as the article noted speaking fees and prices and salary, but the fact that he had insider information and could (I suspect) trade on it.
I suppose such a thing is technically legal. As a pirate, of course, I applaud it.
But were I more inclined to statism, I’d suggest that such behavior should be illegal and violators not just forfeit their profits, but be flogged.
Yer gettin’ soft…..you used to keelhaul….
Don’t want to scratch the plating on the keel-mounted railgun…
Of course….
I think you need to reconsider what you consider bias in media. I usually point out the slanted stuff from Red State but not all is slanted. Red State has had a far better record that the MSM and other web news on many issues these past 5 years.
Were there any FACTS listed in the story which you know to be false?
These people are INSANE and STUPID … and ALL AMERICANS!
That is not me at 2:31…
charlie
Do you seriously think you would get “smarter” answers from anyone on the Street, regardless of party?
No way! This is Ameri-cha … we’re not very smart people in Ameri-cha. The thing i don’t “think” you’d see from the Dems and the half-assed left is the passion and insistence on absolutely insane answers. They’d likely be totally ignorant of whatever question they were asked (i.e., Who is the VP right now) … I think you’d get, at best, a 50% accurate answer. 🙂
So apparently Dr. Fauci is about $ 5,000,000 richer (more rich?) than he was two years back. But, despite my urging and E-mails nobody thought to ask him to show his portfolio or those of his family, did they?
Please see my comment when JAC posted regarding this.
By the way, Lauren Boebert was worth ~2m a few years ago and is worth $41m now. (To be clear, this isn’t whataboutism.. it’s consistent with my linked comment.. and I hold all to the same standard. This is merely a friendly reminder not to express outrage over Fauci without considering that the same thing (and worse) is going on in your own backyard.)
Come on, DREAD! SK’s backyard is Eden … and long before the apple.
Interesting piece which claims she is a white supremacist yet makes no mention of shady financial dealings other than her husband piling up several hundred thousand as a consultant (shades of Nancy P and the Biden’s) but what can you expect from a former democrat?

Sidney!
Make NO mistake. The Corporations won and we all lost.
You have to be a fucking Nazi to ignore what Israel does to those people. An absolute fucking Nazi, which is EXACTLY what the VAST majority of the Israeli government are. Nazis. Gaza is an open air concentration camp subject to measure meals, nearly zero health services, and total subjugation.
This is the video that got Katie Halper fired from The Hill.

DeSantis added that people looking to “ransack people’s homes” should beware: Florida is a Second Amendment state.
“I can tell you in the state of Florida, you never know what may be lurking behind somebody’s home,” he said. “And I would not want to chance that if I were you — given that we’re a Second Amendment state.”

Nice warning…..you loot, we shoot.
How awful!
Sarcasm
Is that sarcasm? What is wrong with shooting looters?
Of course! But, that’s what I am hearing the left coast media whine about all day long. Imagine, “I lost my Rolex in the storm I must have a new one!”
As an aside, it used to be nice walking along upper Broadway in Manhattan in the evening doing some window shopping but after the horrific riots of the late 60’s and ’70’s the insurance companies threatened to cancel policies wholesale unless the local merchants installed the riot gates. Not the kind you can see through but the ones resembling pull down garage doors. Changed the entire character of the neighborhood. Began the “fear” era.
What do you think about DeSantis demanding federal aid (i.e., socialism) AFTER being against it for New York after Sandy? And why is it socialism ALWAYS has to come to the rescue of capitalism? 🙂
To our Pirate.
Earlier we were discussing, I think, how minds are influenced and a herd mentality created. I think I just heard the perfect example.
Circa 1914, the actor Fredric March, attending the University of Wisconsin belonged to an honor society called Kappa Kappa Kappa or KKK. Now, in that particular period the other KKK was just rising up from dormancy. It would reach its Zenith in the ’20’s. After Mr. March graduated the bad KKK opened a chapter on campus. At that point, Kappa Kappa Kappa changed its name to disassociate itself from the other guys.
Several years back, mobs of students who were ginned up hearing that Fredrick March belonged to the KKK demanded the campus theater named in his honor have that name removed. The feckless administration, at a university known for its students leaping into action at the drop of a slur, immediately acquiesced. Hence, a great actor (the Best Years of Our Lives being my favorite) and a strong supporter of the Civil Rights movement has had his reputation tarnished forever because as sure as God made little green apples, people will hear KKK and not bother (or believe) anything else.
So that, is why there were Nazi’s, a tulip frenzy, bitcoin, pet rocks, beany babies, the 1938 War of the World broadcast, and a 9000% increase in gender dysphoria.
The March story by the way was just related by Ben Mankowitz on Turner Classic Movies in an obvious attempt to clear up his reputation. Fat chance that’ll work once the mob gets going …………………………… Does it qualify as an anecdote from Mr. Mankowitz?
“Does it qualify as an anecdote from Mr. Mankowitz?”
I don’t see a single quote from Mr. Mankowitz in there, so I guess it’s just another one of your takes on history. It may be true, it may not be. Either way, if you’re attempting to show how the mob falls victim to rumor … have you seen the January 6 riots/insurrection/attempted coup? One guy spreads a bullshit story he’s been spewing since before he was elected in 2016, he holds onto it because EVERYONE in his administration is telling him going to lose, and he does lose, and then he gins up the moron mob on the right and presto, a violent riot started by a confirmed pathological liar … and YOU defend him. 🙂
You’re part of a mob, SK. Tell me, did you go to the Capitol on January 6, 2021 … or just remain the keyboard warrior who would set mines on the border. If the latter, you can probably qualify as a Gravy Seal. 🙂
Some people have never heard of “don’t ask, don’t tell”!
I believe it was the famous nut case and patriot G. Gordon Liddy who once, confronted once too often by a blowhard, famously said,
“in the battle of wits you are outgunned”. (insert smiley face)
Now you’re quoting Liddy? 🙂
Isn’t he the “mastermind” behind the Watergate burglary? He must’ve been outgunned, eh? Why is it you have an obsession with nut cases, SK? Explain why he was a patriot? Seriously, why? SMILEY FACE.
Anita, good luck today, you have Maryland, we have Northwestern.
You too. At least you have a decent record to defend. Best we can do is be spoilers now. I may be able to catch the end of both games.
Winning ugly is still winning. Still undefeated, nice!! Get after those Wolverines next week. Hurts seeing Sparty at the bottom of the pack, but at least we share it with Wisconsin. Who’da thunk?
We will take it any way we can get it. We are off next week. Life gets interesting after that. Too bad MSU went down but so did Iowa which makes my Cedar Rapids kin sad.
Interesting terminology at the beginning of this story. They call it “investments”. But what you have is a supposed business which builds stuff but produces nothing. Gee, I wonder how they are going to make the money needed to keep this “investment” going.
https://thehill.com/changing-america/sustainability/climate-change/3669378-the-worlds-largest-carbon-removal-project-will-break-ground-in-wyoming/
CA collects about $1.19/gal taxes and fees on gasoline. About $0.22 of this is directly attributable to carbon credits. So they plan on selling carbon credits plus getting oodles of cash from tax breaks and other state and federal subsidies. You are right, there is no product but enough paper to wall paper a city. All to solve a non-problem.
There is also a plan to build a pipeline from IA to a carbon capture plant in IL. How about we just plant some trees? Maybe thin the western forests. We just had a 77K acre fire north of us. We could harvest the wood and turn it into lumber (thus sequestering the wood in a structure) or pellets to replace some other hydrocarbon fuel. It would even be considered green energy. Instead, they will let most of it rot in place thus the bugs turn it into CO2 and we get no benefit out of it.
Sometimes T, I think you need to go to a re-education camp to get all this knowledge and wisdom out of you. Perhaps if they forcibly show you nothing but Jim Carry and Adam Sandler movies 24-7 for a few months, your mind will be sufficiently degraded enough to appreciate the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being elected Governor in the world, Raymond Shaw, whoops! I mean Gavin Newsome.
“I mean Gavin Newsome.”
Probably your next President.
Or take a trip through your anecdotal mind with occasional histories of the SK family going back to the beginning of time … tell us again how you came to support a certifiable pathological liar and cheat. I mean, with all that compassion you express, surely there’s a reason behind your Christian values marrying a wannabe fascist dictator like Trump. 🙂
Trump did not lock this state down. It was the tyrannical Gov. Grusome. He has solved nothing in his four years in office, just made things worse: homelessness, forest fires, water shortages, still building the train to nowhere, high taxes, high gas prices, endless regulations, shutdowns that drove small businesses under, poor management of covid funds that allowed prisoners to rip off the system (exceeds anything Brett did), etc., etc., etc. They are running a state tax surplus but still want to raise taxes. The state and municipal retirement funds are a ticking time bomb. We are run by the government employee unions. The teachers union is so flush with cash, they run radio ads 52 weeks out of the year. Our schools suck. Farms are cutting down orchards that took years to create for lack of water. Fields are fallow because we do not have water. Yet no new reservoirs are being built, no dredging of current reservoirs is happening. Grusome’s solution to any problem is to throw billions of $s at it but since he does not know how to manage anything, the money is wasted. I would say he is all hat but that would mess up his hair gel. God save us if he becomes president.
He is another Harris but can actually talk unlike her.
“God save us if he becomes president.”
What was it, 3 or 5 million more in the popular vote felt the same way when the Orange Jesus won in 2016. In 2020 they buried him. 🙂

Lesee Trump has told 33,333 lies and counting up to now or so they say. None, however match that we can keep our old health plan and doctor or that we do not have a recession or the border is closed. Do they?
In response to a request from the National Archives to return “all documents ILLEGALLY removed from the White House”, I’d basically say Go F— yourself. Responding to THAT kind of request is probably prima facie evidence you admit you did something illegal. “See he admitted it” would be the headline of the next day’s NYT or WP.
Well, SK, it’s not like HE DIDN’T TAKE THEM. 🙂
I wonder what the actual Jesus would say. SMILEY FACE.
>b> I wonder what the actual Jesus would say. Well, he would probably say …..”run ’em through the shredder.”
The MAGA Jesus would no doubt say that. 🙂
Which kind of ruins that bit about American values, doesn’t it?
Wait…..now there is more than one Jesus?
How about the Big Lie, SK? You know, the one that sparked the Knucklehead Revolution … 🙂 Then again, there’s still MORE lies to uncover with the documents since last night the National Archives said they’re still missing documents. Gee, I wonder if the Orange Jesus has them? 🙂
The documents they discussed were phone records from Trump associates. Not actual paper work in Mr. Trump’s possession.
Uh, not quite. Emails too. Amazing how theft was rampant in that WH, though.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-10-01/national-archives-says-trump-white-house-records-still-missing
Yes, the report stated e-mails on their phones. Hence phone “records”. Also includes texts, voicemails and any other recordings of conversations that might have been sent to the cloud world.
What do they all have to hide, JAC? Is it possible they did something wrong? 🙂
OK, I will bite this AM.
!. They might and it might have to do with J6th.
2. They might have other things on there they don’t want spread around.
3. They might have other things on there that they don’t want the DOJ misrepresenting to the public or using to justify even more search and seizures, for nothing but political reasons.
4. It all might be a nothing burger and they like stringing this along. The more the media howls and each time it turns out to be nothing the worse they look.
5. Or this is just a pissing fit between the Archivist and them, which the Archivist has decided to play politics over.
I do not know their reasons. Neither do you. It is all speculation at this point.
DPM
One more story of how Trans. is negatively harming others in schools. This is not grooming but it is more evidence oh how we have lost our minds due to the Political Correctness that has infiltrated everywhere.
https://redstate.com/bradslager/2022/10/02/deference-to-one-trans-athlete-reaches-new-lows-as-an-entire-girls-hs-team-is-forced-to-leave-locker-room-n636275
This is getting out of hand….way out of hand. I have been trying to decipher and think about the conversation the two of you had…..
I had a law professor tell me one time……that if you wrote a contract to cover every conceivable if, and, or but …you would have a contract that would stretch around to world three times and still never cover everything.
Now, JAC, to play missing Mathius’ role…..why is this not grooming?
Colonel
This is not “grooming” because that word is supposed to mean grooming children for successful exploitation by adults. Pedophiles precisely.
I am with the Pirate on the issue of changing the definition for political gain. You know me and definitions.
This particular example is not that, but it is an attempt to “condition” society writ large. In this case those pushing the agenda were successful at conditioning the school to respond to the one odd duck at the expense of the girls. This does place girls at risk of exposure and sexual advance or harassment by the odd duck, which is their age and not an adult.
So this is a clear case of Political Correctness gone awry but not “grooming”. Now let me address the grooming issue at large.
The grooming, which the Pirate has denied is occurring, is use of LGBTQ issues as an excuse to start pushing sexually explicit stuff on K-6th kids. The experts are saying that this type of teaching combined with those teachers and school districts then telling kids to keep this from their parents SETS THE STAGE for later exploitation by adults. Hence it is very much like the first stages of grooming. Whether done for that purpose or not, it increases vulnerability.
Based on everything I have read, this form of grooming is occurring. We don’t know how much of it is for the purpose of later exploitation vs. just pushing the LGBTQ agenda. We don’t know how wide spread it is. We also know that some are blowing this up as much as they can to gain politically. Especially after they say the Virginia Governor get elected on the school district vs. parents issue. .
For the record, I don’t buy the notion that sexually explicit or even implied discussions should be occurring between K-6 students and their teachers, or other adults in schools. It is not necessary to the goal of making all the odd ducks feel safe or stop bullying and harassment. Long ago we had our grade schools and middle schools introducing kids to key values. Like kindness, empathy, etc. Bullying and teasing was not tolerated.
Now with that said, there is some need for adult interaction for some of the odd ducklings. But that should be a referral by the teachers to a school psychologist or counselor, who in turn should contact the parents.
I see the argument……but are we not delving too deeply into the semantics?
Colonel
I do not think so. Because words like “grooming” also have legal linkage. As in criminal law regarding adults and children.
In general conversations you could have general meaning. But when arguing the details, especially when it comes to potential grooming of children, I think we should stick to the long held defintions.
Oh, these also show up in the medical books. Like Gender Dysphoria is not the condition of being confused about your sex. It is a deep psychological disorder, similar to depression, caused by that confusion or disgust with one’s own sex.
The IMF does not like tax cuts…….(((((SHOCK)))) and the IMF bullied the UK into not lowering taxes….bad move UK but that is your problem.
Ok, question for everyone except missing Mathius…..Is there anyone on here that does NOT….DOES NOT….understand the relationship of zero interest rates to the Federal Balance sheets or any balance sheet for that matter. And, more importantly, how it ties to inflation?
Me! I cannot grasp anything about all that business. And if you use any words longer than 6 or 8 letters to explain, I’ll still be lost.
Of course…..my point exactly. What you know…..prices are up, gasoline is up, materials are up….dollar is shrinking even though it is strong, taxes going up…you must adjust your expenses or you will be under water…..THIS is what is going to the ballot box.
I will bet that 90% of the pundits do not have the faintest idea of what’s causing inflation. Neither does the general public. Not one clue..not one iota. All you know is…….you are worse off today than under Trump…..the Reagan model. And the truth is…..you ARE worse off…..so is the general public. However, THAT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. The end result is all you care about and should care about.
I was watching a town hall meeting where Anne on omits was trying to explain to the general public about M1 and M2 and quantitative and qualitative easing and how it affects the policies of money…..
Then launched into the explanations of why the Fed is suddenly and very Draconian raising the rates. And how zero interest rates depleted the asset values of a balance sheet. Trying to explain how pumping money into a system lowers values and gives false hope to people receiving free money and how it ties to unemployment and the often over looked labor participation rates and such……all designed to make them look smart because the general public simply does not know. Nor should they.
The bottom line for you…..vote your pocket book. Are you better or worse off today than you were under the last administration.
Anita…..you are the single most important person to vote. Forget about losing sleep or getting frustrated over economic reports….you know the impact upon yourself….that makes you the top dog on voting day.
Ugh…third paragraph is to say an economist was trying to explain
Alriiiight! I was hoping not to still look stupid. I vote according to my wallet, but also for who I can understand. If it’s like the word salad Kamala speaks, you don’t get my vote. If it’s too academic, you don’t get my vote…because you’re hiding something in there too. Also follow a tip from my dad…vote for one you may not agree with, just to keep an opposing view around. I also haven’t voted for an incumbent since the Bush days, state, or federal…except my man Trump. 🙂
Back to cooking these expensive ass groceries. Hey, at least I’m back to cooking!
Some day, I will figure out a way to post my 2 inch by 2 inch 500,000,000 Deutchmark note from 1922.
THAT…..was worth watching……great find.
🙂
If everybody since George Washington took all their documents from the Presidential residence will the blowhard explain to me what was different about # 45? He can’t so he will switch the subject blah, blah, blah!
Especially interesting that the “O” for phOny stored highly classified documents in an unguarded and easilty entered warehouse. Some 33,000,000 documents I believe were mentioned. Probably NUCLEAR codes too.
SK, here all along I assumed YOU were the blowhard … 🙂
I don’t know, why don’t you ask someone from FOX.
Pay attention, SK … “… defending this guy makes you look awful.” 🙂
Fox News, reading from a Washington Post article, asks the question why would such documents be there…..well, three things jumped out at me..
First, you like to run down Fox News…..biased reporting, you claim….in the bag for trump, you claim. It appears to me that not only did they quote a dubious report (at best) but asked, what I would consider a pertinent question, why are the documents, if there were any, even there? Sounds like to me fair and balanced reporting.
Secondly, was the question that Doocey asked, sarcasm? Meaning, do you really think that a former POTUS is knowingly going to leave these types of documents lying around haphazardly?
Thirdly, was the question asked sincerely. If so, then it points to fair and balanced reporting.
And, a Colonel point here, I watched the post you submitted and it was cut only to depict a one way approach…..WHICH, in my mind was favorable to Fox. A known enemy of Fox actually supporting Fox…..interesting.
++++
The Colonel’s summation……..indict, try, and convict. Without that….all arguments are pointless.
But you really have to follow up on the 33,000,000 unsecured Obama documents which I am sure contains basic military deployment models which may still be valid. But, anything other than Trump is off the table.
The world according to SK … 🙂
Oooops, wrong again.
https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-obama-million-documents-929954890662
Oh Oh, Spaghettios. Obama has classified documents in his storage facilities. His team’s words in this pdf…#7
Click to access BOF-NARA-LOI.pdf
Anita, my love, where in that letter does it state he had classified documents in his storage facilities? Did I miss it? The letter reads to me like they’re acting hand-in-hand with each other. Maybe I missed it. Please point to where it states his classified documents are in a storage facility.
By now, it may be in some sort of Archive storage facility. I can’t copy from that pdf, but #7 says that Obama Foundation paid 3.3M to move “classified and unclassified records and artifacts from Hoffman Estates to NARA controlled facilities…”
AND THOSE DOCUMENTS WERE NOT IN THE HANDS OF THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES IN 2017 AS THEY STATED IN THE OTHER STORY CITED BY CHARLIE. THEY LIED THROUGH THEIR TEETH.
Or could it be that they are confusing in their possession with “we have control over some and they promised us the rest”?????
Question for you, JAC. Did Obama take them someplace and refuse to give them back when requested? If so, please provide proof. Also please provide proof that Obama said (and had a lawyer sign) a statement claiming he gave all the documents back … but didn’t. You’re desperately trying to equivocate and there is none. Trump did this to himself. Pretty much everyone knows that. He had warning and he lied about returning all the documents. What else do you need to see what a piece of shit that man is? Seriously, dude, come on! 🙂
Really, you dumb ol’ dog…..Chinese made?
You really have to laugh at the lefties who denigrate the righties for not knowing what real socialism is about, then try to accuse the righties of hypocrisy for taking disaster relief by calling it socialism.
Kind of makes you think this is just more political posturing.
I guess Wall Street Banks going under qualifies as disaster relief, eh, JAC?
And how do you dismiss the FACT that TAXES pay for our services … or does every snowfall count as a disaster as well? 🙂
Depends on which side you are on, I suspect……There should be no such thing as “TOO BIG TO FAIL”…..yet there is,,,,and Wall Street falls under this. You should not be alarmed….it affects just as many Democrats as Republicans and since the Democrats just killed a bill that would restrict such things as insider trading…I suppose that we will continue to have too big to fail. Do not try to pass this off as a Trump thing or a Republican thing….it is a Washington thing……
Even your beloved labor unions have had their pension plans bailed out with tax money….so perhaps you should just stick with the Washington is corrupt thing. More Democrats there than Republicans.
Colonel, you’re playing a dirty, dirty game. Where do I point ONLY to Republicans? Remember, I socialist (the kind you hate). I’ve stated repeatedly in this joint and others, WE LOST. THE GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPT TO THE CORE. WE ARE RULED BY CORPORATIONS. TO THE CORE, SIR.
I do not hate anyone Charlie, including you with one exception. Hanoi Jane….as I have previously stated, I would not walk across the street to piss on her if she were on fire….there is the only hate (genuine hate) that I have. So, you are safe…..socialist or not.
Now, you have always said things about both sides, however in your retort to JAC, it appears that you tied Wall Street to Conservatives only. If I am mistaken, please accept this humble apology.
Yes, we are ruled by Corporations. We are ruled by money.
it’s just that you spent an inordinate amount of time on Pluto….inhaled a lot of dust from up there (passive inhalation)….sometimes, I just need to rein you in some. It is not your fault….them damned dust mites can be…..powerful, ya know.
No need for the apology. It’s easy to see where you’d assume that (because of my relentlessness on the GOP) … the Democrats are even worse than the GOP on Wall Street. They sold their soul to them back with Slick Willy and have only gotten worse since. The abandoned labor unions for Wall Street.
Ahhh we have really reached the Dark Side when truth becomes lies, lies become truth and wishful thinking trumps it all!
https://www.theblaze.com/news/gavin-newsom-ab-2098-covid-misinformation?utm_content=buffer27634&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=fb-whitehousebrief&fbclid=IwAR0zYnvVjyQ4s01IaOuEhWuaVa-00ArmmcqTBQr7aEyyvG6l7zpt40jrcus
Yep! 🙂
Charlie…..you really are wasting a lot of your time on this…..the man is GONE. He will not get the Republican nomination….you know, it…..I know it.
I beg to differ, Colonel. Unless he’s indicted and found guilty, the Orange Jesus is the Republican nominee in 2024. Just ask his supporters (SK). They haven’t figured out their marriage to Jesus didn’t work out.
Hmmm…may have to get up a bet here…..you live in New Jersey?
Yes, Sir. Place your bets (used to be a bookie) … unless OJ (Orange Jesus) is indicted AND convicted and/ is precluded from running again, he will be the nominee. The party will secretly hate it, but they are jellyfish without a spine and will do what their master tells them … because his minions don’t want the truth. They, as they say, “Can’t handle the truth.”
So, what kind of food do you have there? I do not eat oysters, crab, lobster, or any of a variety of shell fish except SHRIMP…but I can get shrimp here. From my side, since I know that nowhere in New Jersey you could get a good steak….a good one and not a facsimile….I will wager steaks for two (include the missus)..what food can you offer…..oh, by the way, I do not drink either.
I know..I know….I am probably the only person you know that was in college in the 60s. that does not smoke, does not drink, has NEVER used drugs, including marijuana, does not drink coffee…….I am a “steak and taters” man, to which JAC can confirm. No, I am not a crusader nor a bible thumper…..I am, however, a gun totin’ Texan and can shoot a wart off a fleas ass at 300 yards on horseback at a dead run with an open sight 6 shooter.
So, I am sure there is something we can agree on for a wager.
We have wonderful NY steakhouses but if you prefer a home cooked eye-talian meal, colonel, that would be an honor. And please do not shoot the flea off my ass.
you may have steak houses in New York……but y’all have to get over this gourmet European style cooking and flavors….Yes, you have steal houses that sell something reminiscent of steak….then you ruin it with….steak sauces. Went to a place called Keen’s Steak House…….Nice place….and they advertised steaks….I tried to keep it simple by wanting a T Bone…..that is all…a simple T Bone. So, I ordered their 16 oz Prime Cut T Bone….but you do not get fixins’ with the steak…you must order a la carte. By the time you got a full meal with two sides…..$100 bucks…and that did not include the $5 glass of tea.
So , what the hell, I am in New York…..they bring out this piece of meat that resembled a T Bone….it was on a plate by itself…..surrounded by a little river of some sort of sauce and a sprig something surrounded by a little stream of yellow something. Very pretty….but if I wanted a piece of art, I would have gone to an art studio. Out comes the baked tater….in its own plate, with some sort of garnish and multi colored sauce….then came the butter dish in something looking like a reject from the Renaissance with this beautifully sculptured hunk of butter….then came my little “covered” dish of steaming spinach that was sauteed in something that I thought tasted pretty good. Topping it off was a goblet of iced tea…..with a friggin’ umbrella.
Anyway, the T Bone was smothered in mushrooms (not ordered) and sitting in this little river of something……NOBODY…but….NOBODY puts steak sauce or anything on a T Bone steak…..( Glad I did not order chili..probably would have had beans in it ). Not only that, their version of medium was still bleeding but a trip back to the kitchen brought me a nasty look of “how dare you send this back.” I am surprised that the chef did not come out of the kitchen wielding his cleaver. The steak was actually a pretty good cut of meat…decently marbled…but they drained the juices off to be replaced by…that little river of something. Totally ruined the flavor of the meat replaced by the flavor of this gourmet river of something.
So, one of your most prestigious steak houses…needs to learn how to cook steak. Slap it on a plate with a baked tater on the same plate drowned in butter and mixed with original steak juices from the steak………I am there to eat, not look at it. And, I want to wear jeans and boots and not have to dress “foo foo” style.
So, If you win, I will send you two “real” T Bones in an dry iced container…..and if I win, you will send me…….????????
Come on, Colonel. Have you eaten at The Palm (my favorite) … or The Old Homestead (my wife’s favorite) … but there are several more … no river of sauces. 🙂 If you win, I will send you whatever you want, but I suggest my wife’s lasagna.
Sounds like a dive in my book. At the high end we have Black Rock. Pick your handcut steak from the case as you enter. Order sides at the table. Steak comes to the table on a 750* piece of rock, one side seared. You sear it completely to your liking at your table. Montreal Steak Seasoning and garlic powder are on the table. Pretty freakin cool. The rocks take 4 hours to heat, only used once per day. Lines to get in wrap around the building. Bring your whole paycheck for the meal though. Only been once as a birthday gift. I’m too cheap for that. I’ll take a ribeye on my Weber charcoal grill any day. No sauce, and garlic bread made from my own French baguette for soaking up the juice. Yum!
Montreal Steak Seasoning and garlic powder are on the table. See? Don’t y’all know how to eat steak? Tell you what, Anita….invite me over. I am harmless…but I will cook you steak that will make you slap yer mama……
Ok Charlie…deal. I bet some homemade lasagna would taste pert good…..
But Charlie, If I lose the bet and send you some steaks….will you eat a steak sent by a conservative (not far right) Texan? I might spike it with a special rub that has conservative germs in it to infect you.
I’ve already been infected, Colonel. Voted for GWBush vs. Gore and Trump vs. Hillary. I’m immune. At one point, I wanted Rudy! I wouldn’t vote for another Republican with one of your guns pointed at my head. 🙂 Done with both parties, Sir. Almost welcoming the nuclear exchange.
Yes, the NEW YORK TImes, the definitive experts on “Russian Collusion”.
SK, would you even admit a Trump lie if it was recorded for you? There have been lots and lots of those … 🙂
Try this one, SK. 🙂
Open the re-education camps.
Yes, because we have to get to the bottom of Democrats grabbing children off the streets and draining their blood in basements … we have to do this!
You should stop using those drugs. See your Doctor to get your meds adjusted.
What, you don’t believe in Q, JAC? 🙂
Of course I do. It lies between P and R. Without it we would have fewer words to describe the nutter butters.
The left has decided we all need protecting from ourselves. Don’t ya’ll just feel so much better?
No, we need protection for you guys! 🙂
Yeah, right. You are high Sir.
Well, JAC, who is taking rights away from women? Who is demanding loyalty pledges to Apartheid Israel? Who is precluding protests pretty much everywhere, but especially vs. Big Oil? It ain’t us, brother. You claim to want liberty and then pursue tyranny at every turn. Or do you really think Trump is all for democracy? 🙂
What RIGHTS have been taken from women? Let me help you …… NONE.
Nobody here is stopping protests or requiring pledges or any such silliness. So you need to look for “you guys” somewhere else.
You are the definition of tyranny Charlie, so that dog won’t hunt here. Trump has nothing to do with that issue either.
He lies … but let’s face it, his voice in a recording must’ve been done in Hollywood by George Soros. 🙂
The Gravy Seals … True Patriots … 🙂
Since when are the Oath Keepers patriots? We run them off down here.
Well, sir, their leader is from Texas.
Yes…..I never said we did not have our misfits…….Texas, especially Southwest Texas is loaded with militias. We know whom they are and they know to stay the hell away from the border.
Additionally, we have a couple of the militia groups (not unlike the Cajun Navy) that we are fond of and use them quite often in natural disasters. They provide much needed security in and around devastated areas to prevent looting. Right now, they are with us on the border and we use them to keep the wannabe militias away…..like the Oath Keepers who are often drunk and very dangerous.
And, I might add, do not associate the Oath Keepers with Trump…they showed up in Oregon, Washington State, and California and often aid and abet the BLM crowd.
The Oath Keepers are definitely associated with Roger Stone who is definitely associated with Trump. I may have been wrong about where he started the oath keepers, but here’s some clarification. The guy is nuts.
https://apnews.com/article/oath-keepers-founder-jan-6-trial-4372b311695c401255c6881111ff4f41
Yes….Roger Stone… a conservative political consultant and lobbyist. I’m sorry to disappoint you, sir, but I consider lobbyists and political consultants somewhere in the realm of lawyers….most are lower than a snake’s ass in a wagon rut.
Well Trump went out of his way to pardon Stone so you can assume they’re very close.
The article says the Oath Keepers was started in 2009. I definitely remember reading about them when I lived in NJ which was 30 years ago.
I have no idea about them except they appear to be a collection of wannabe warrior and come off as clowns playing army. Stone is m ore than “just” a consultant. He was team Trump from a long time ago. He’s right in the mix of january 6 … he will get indicted, I suspect.
Who is to say they are not?
For your enjoyment.
SK, oral sex? I didn’t think you had it in you. 🙂
FACTS. Don’t look, SK … you’re be upset.
Last night I watched a 2021 episode of Law and Order SVU. The show always bends liberal but last night’s episode was a group of White Nationalist Supremecists who kidnapped a young black lesbian then were holding, on “the Dark Web” a fund raiser where the highest bidder got to choose whether they raped, tortured or killed her. During the chit-chat among detectives about these ubitiquous ” terrorist militia groups” one detective blithly stated “Oh, yes, they were all ,over that January 6th thing”. By the way, the good guys, suspended the Constitution along teh way, and made I’m sure an unintendedly funny comment when questioning a member of the group. When told “NO, you cannot have a lawyer, these are exigent circumstances “, the cop said, “you know that all powerful government you people always talked about? Well, THIS IS IT!”
You cannot make this stuff up, they have done it for you.
Listening yet again to some liberal-conservative nut cases debating the possibility of limited nuclear strikes.
In 1962 during the Cuban missile crisis the US had over 900 B-52’s each capable of carrying four 20 megaton nuclear bombs (each one 1,000 times stronger than the Hiroshima bomb). During those 13 days, 300 bombers flew constantly off the Rusian territorial waters limit (Fail Safe point). 300 flew over the East and West coasts of the United States (2nd strike) another 300 sat on the ground with engine starters ready to fire up and their crews living in tents next to the planes (3rd strike) . We were at DEFCON 2. DEFCON 1 is war. We were never before or since at DEFCON 2. All the absolute morons you hear out there ginning up for nuclear war had better consult some old texts and while they are at it watch “On The Beach” and “The Day After”, read “Nuclear Disaster” by a former Manhattan College Prof., Dr. Tom Stonier and read Phil Wylie’s “Triumph”. If they don’t learn anything you should probably think about committing them and certainly keep sharp instruments away from them.
Stonier pointed out one 20 Meg. bomb at Columbus Circle, detonated at 5,000 feet would flatten everything in a 20 mile radius from Ground Zero with its pressure wave. If I remember correctly, the Fire Storm alone would stretch from Queens through Jersey City.
I have no doubt that A) we pushed this war with Putin … B) he’s still mostly responsible for engaging it …C) the emperor’s military has no clothes and D) when push comes to shove and Russia is actually losing and/or Putin’s life/position is at risk, the first of the nukes fly (tactical or otherwise) and then NATO will be put in the same position as Putin backed himself into (the dreaded corner) … will NATO save face and engage in a nuclear exchange? I suspect, unfortunately, we’ll know soon enough.
Nope……call Putin’s bluff.
I love you, Colonel … but I’m glad you’re retired. 🙂
Charlie…Putin is bluff….he uses intimidation tactics all the time…..call his bluff. With China on his border, he does not pull the trigger. He is a bully…treat him like one and take him behind the school building and beat the shit out of him.
If only it were that simple. The risk, colonel, is nuclear war. Do you really think he’d back down if his military was destroyed? He’s a lunatic (as are all tyrants). There are those around him begging him to use a tactical nuke. He will not go quietly. I doubt NATO does much if he does use a tactical nuke in Ukraine. I’d bet the house he does use one. I won’t bet the house on a response from NATO or the U.S., but the house won’t be here if we wind up in a nuclear exchange. Bullies with nukes (like us) get to do whatever they want. We don’t have to saber rattle with our nukes because the world already knows we’ll use them.
Bravo! I’d be happy to have the Colonel in charge but I do NOT think I trust anyone else. My contact in the military education system tells me things about other O-6’s that remind me a whole lot of French and British generals in the Great War who thought that spirit and elan could overcome machine guns, artillery saturation fire and enough barbed wire to circumnavigate the earth six times.
Regarding “civilization” afterward, I suggest we look at that 1930 movie based on HG Wells “Things to Come” or Costner’s “The Postman” which unfortunately has a happy face ending.
“I’d be happy to have the Colonel in charge …”
Of course you would! A pissing contest with nukes! Very smart, fellas. 🙂
No need for a pissing contest….no need for nukes. I would not even put them on alert…..Putin is a wannabe Oath Keeper.
Piss on Putin and he melts like the witch in OZ.
I honor your retirement. 🙂 Stay retired.
But….but….but……I want to piss on Putin and hear him yell..”I’m melting……I’m meltiiiiiiiii…………poof.” Remember, Putin, Like Biden, cannot just push a button. Neither one has that capability.
“Neither one has that capability.”
We’ve come close twice with (Russian soldiers saving the day) from BIG mistakes. Maybe this time someone can’t save the day. And try to remember, Colonel, OUR army hasn’t exactly racked up any wins in a VERY LONG time (Because Grenada doesn’t count).
The story.
https://www.armscontrol.org/act/2017-10/news-briefs/man-saved-world-dies-77
In the novel (and movie) “On the Beach” the world ended because the Egyptians being highly pissed at the West after a “Suez” type incident had access to a nuke and flew it over London and dropped it on the Brits. An assumption that it was a Soviet strike led to a full exchange.
I have no doubt that there are regimes out there that would pay well for a nuke, that there are arms dealers actively seeking one and that there may be a couple missing from the former Soviet stockpile. Couple that with the field authorized use of tactical nukes and the ability of sub commanders to control their missiles independently and you do not need a “Fail Safe” situation of a deranged Bomber or Missile wing commander.
Now, if things get harier and hairer, it would behoove the West to announce their love of the Russian people, their desire to harm not a hair on the head of any Russian baba or child but that in the event of a tactical nuke’s use, WE WILL HUNT DOWN AND BLOW THE SHIT OUT OF PUTIN PERSONALLY! Eff diplomacy! The mistake of the 1940’s was in NOT turning loose the 8th Air Force, RAF Bomber command and the 20th Air Force in the Pacific to personally hunt down Hitler and the Emperor. Instead millions died not to mention bomber crews.
“WE WILL HUNT DOWN AND BLOW THE SHIT OUT OF PUTIN PERSONALLY!”
And end the world as we know it … great idea … not to mention INSANE.
Also read “One Second After”. An EMP strike would send us back a century in terms of technology. It destroys nothing but p-n junction type (solid state) electronics but everything today is run by a microchip so would be useless. Even alternators in older cars have diodes.
I have Mom’s 75 year old Zenith radio that would work if we had electricity. My old Opels would run if I installed a generator instead of the alternator. I would have to fetch water from the river which is 4 mi and 700 ft below me. I have wood for heat but propane for cooking would run out fast. Gas for the cars would be limited to what’s on hand so won’t last long. Neighbor has 4 horses so we have some transportation. Life would be interesting. I would have to jerk most of the meat in the freezer immediately or can it. Food would be a real problem. Medicine would run out quick.
I remember years back reding a Sci-Fi book about a “limied exchange” where EMP knocked out Russia and The US. Millions died from the failure of the electronics. Forget medicine, water, electric power, transportation. The “winner” of that war in a book probably 40 years old was Japan who retained its electronoics manufacturing base and very, very slowly provided the US with replacements only after solidifying itself as THE major world power economically.
Today of course that would be China.
A particularly vivid part was all the airplanes falling out of the sky simultaneously.
The colonel “may be” right … if so, I owe him and his spouse a dinner (steak or anything they want).
Will be gone a couple of days fishing. See ya’ll on Thursday, at which time I will once again clean out the spam locker.
Air raid sirens in Tokyo.
Don’t blame Trump!
Yes, whatever you do, don’t blame the criminal you all love and adore. He can do no wrong … no matter how many dollars he robbed, charities he robbed, or his fake university, etc., etc. … and so what he sat and watched morons attack the police and the capitol/shit and piss on the floors … he was watching a good show on television and we all know you can’t disturb the Orange Jesus when he’s watching tv. Do not blame Trump … he’s the good guy? 🙂
No, do not blame Trump on this one….you are going to have to blame this current administration. They showed the first sign of weakness….
Going to research missiles fired during Trump’s tenure and going to research China’s penetrating Taiwan defense zones…..and compare.
I do fault Trump, however, for not sinking the Spratley Islands…..again…China will do nothing. China is dependent upon the US for survival.
This guy, Mr. Walker, is so honorable. How can anyone think he’s not a good candidate for an insane asylum? 🙂
Way to go AOC…..no tent cities in my district………………………..can you spell hypocrisy…
Republican governors who are shipping migrants to liberal cities are committing “crimes against humanity,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fumed.
“It’s appalling that far-right politicians seem to have decided that fall before an election is their regularly scheduled time to commit crimes against humanity on refugees,” she said in a tweet Friday evening. “Don’t normalize this. Lying to & trafficking people for TV and clicks isn’t politics as usual. It’s abuse.”
For months, Texas has been busing migrants to so-called “sanctuary cities” like New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago in what they say is an effort pressure the Biden administration for more action to secure the US border. At least 11,000 new migrants have landed in the Big Apple since May.
The political pleasantries didn’t last long.
Immediately after appearing together in public for the first time Friday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., took aim at Mayor Adams’ plan to erect a migrant tent camp in her district, charging that there’s a “better solution” to be had.
The progressive congresswoman, who’s had a simmering beef with the more moderate-minded mayor for months, offered the rebuke in a brief interview with the Daily News on the steps of City Hall following a press conference with Adams on an unrelated topic.
“I think we can get to a place with a better solution here,” Ocasio-Cortez said when asked about the tent facilities being built in the Bronx’s Orchard Beach parking lot to house upward of 1,000 Latin American migrants.
So, now, they are being shipped to another Island…..sort of like a prisoner of war camp in sanctuary new york.
United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced today that former U.S. Congressman Michael “Ozzie” Myers, 79, of Philadelphia, PA, was sentenced to 30 months in prison, three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $100,000 in fines, with $10,000 of that due immediately, by United States District Court Judge Paul S. Diamond after pleading guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election, and for orchestrating schemes to fraudulently stuff the ballot boxes for specific Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Pennsylvania elections. The defendant was immediately remanded into custody following today’s hearing.
In June 2022, the defendant admitted in court to bribing the Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division in South Philadelphia in a fraudulent scheme over several years. Myers admitted to bribing the election official to illegally add votes for certain candidates of their mutual political party in primary elections. Some of these candidates were individuals running for judicial office whose campaigns had hired Myers, and others were candidates for various federal, state, and local elective offices that Myers favored for a variety of reasons. Myers would solicit payments from his clients in the form of cash or checks as “consulting fees,” and then use portions of these funds to pay election officials to tamper with election results.
Myers also admitted to conspiring to commit election fraud with another former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 2nd Division in South Philadelphia.
Why do I think 2020 was stolen? Stuff like this. You have a state congressman bribing election officials…and off we go. 2000 Mules was only the reported on group, it was actually upwards of 5000. I’m not crazy. The people who lost these races? Tough luck for them. 🙄
Except Republicans did a lot better than expected in 2020 and many voters didn’t vote for President. 2000 mules is a joke and deserved to be laughed at by AG Barr (and everyone else). Nothing was stolen. The Orange Jesus lost. They’ve yet to put up a single piece of evidence that proved it was stolen. It’s just like the document case now, Trump has yet to explain why the documents were in his possession, why they lied about giving them all back, and which documents were allegedly planted. That Trump shill judge in Florida, who was made to look like a fool by a conservative appellate court, continues to try and stall for the guy who gave her (someone clearly not qualified) her position. It’s all desperation and nonsense. One can only hope the Dems don’t chickenshit out and convince Garland not to prosecute.
What if 2024 is a replay of 2020 and Trump wins? Would that settle you at all? Or are you all in? I don’t think it will happen that way, though, because even the left is tired of Biden. Sure wish we could have a rematch, even just a mock vote. Have some 5th graders tally the vote.
Anita, my love, I suspect the DOJ will do just enough to preclude Trump running again, but if they don’t and he’s allowed to run, it’ll be against Gavin Newsome (who I also loathe) and Trump will get destroyed and claim fraud all over again. He might beat Biden in 2024, but Biden won’t be there (probably more assuredly than Trump not being there). He was a “plug the hole” candidate rather than allow Sanders the nomination. He’s as useless as Trump was, except some of the damage Trump did will last a long time. Doesn’t make a difference though … they all work for the same people in the end and it ain’t you or me, my love. On the other hand, maybe Biden continues to feed the Ukrainian war and blunders the world into a nuclear exchange. I know Trump wouldn’t have done that.
Tch Tch, my friend…..Gavin Newsom could not beat a dog catcher. He would get 33 1/3 percent of the vote.
Newsome will wipe the floor with Trump and probably beat DeSantis.
Going to look at weapons my guys just seized…..I am told there are 3- .50 cal sniper rifles being smuggled into the US. Let y’all know shortly.

Live by the tweet die by the tweet.
Charlie, my Plutonian Friend, you are a strong advocate of being against vigilante justice. Two things that stand out to me happening in your neighborhood…..One, the father that was killed in a crossfire at a Marriott hotel there and, two, the green clad women that were attacking people on the subway….
Now, I grant you, there was nothing that could have been done about the dad. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time….but……………
I want to focus on the problems with the subway and the things that make the media down here. Those green clad ass hats, beating up on 19 year old girls and stealing their wallets and watches and things…..why would you be against carrying weapons and protecting yourself on those situations? Just pull out your weapon and dispatch the green clad bitches doing the beatings…..
But what bothered me the most………….the male bystanders that……did,,,,,nothing…..just watched it unfold. No one interfered and just sat there……nothing more than the most low life cowards ever to walk this earth.
You once made a statement that a life is worth more than a car being stolen….and that you would not shoot a trespasser or thief taking your car….
If that were down here, we still observe the Western style justice. If you pick on me, do not bring a knife to a gun fight. So, out of curiosity, assuming that place down here, our castle laws allow deadly force to protect the life of other individuals…..if those green clad idiots were gunned down to protect those 2 19 year olds…how does that sit with your position now,,,,I ask because the violence up there seems to be getting much worse.
And, how would you handle the cowards that sit there and do nothing?
“.if those green clad idiots were gunned down to protect those 2 19 year olds…how does that sit with your position now,,,,I ask because the violence up there seems to be getting much worse.
And, how would you handle the cowards that sit there and do nothing?”
Colonel, if it’s a physical attack, shoot them, but allowing the citizens of a city the size of NY to carry guns would quickly become a disaster as everyone would use the stand your ground bullshit law. I use the instance in florida way back now when a wannabe cop trailed a kid wearing a hoodie, confronted him, got his ass kicked and THEN pulled a gun and shot the kid dead. You start a fight, lose the fight, and then resort to using a weapon. That’s horseshit and the kind of horseshit that would quickly become prevalent if NY’ers, (7+ million strong) were all armed. So, find the punks who attacked the 2 19 year olds and put them away. If the girls have guns and just shoot … well, it’s great if they don’t hit anyone else, but how many people will use a gun to justify defense of their lives? “I caught a guy stealing my car so I shot him.” That’s just asking for chaos way worse than what’s happening now in big cities.
ok
You and I are just different and that is ok. First of, me, myself, and I would not have just sat around. The people just sitting there and doing nothing are a symptom of the problems of society. Despicable cowards.
You and I are very different…..I would not hesitate to shoot somebody stealing my car, or a lawn mower or a weed eater…if they are on my property or stealing my property…..AMF. But that is a difference in culture and beliefs. Like on our ranch….. cut our fence and steal cattle….hanging is still on the books..but why ruin a good rope. Strip them naked, drag them through the cholla (very nasty stuff…..VERY nasty), throw the end of the rope over a tree branch and haul them up feet first and leave them hanging upside down for a couple of hours and then call the sheriff….that’s if you want to teach a lesson.
Seriously, however (I was serious) protecting property and life is essential. The “Green Goblin” incident should have been stopped but what I am hearing now days is that New York is going back to the crime ridden days of not being safe to go to a movie or grab a Dr Pepper from a street vendor ( I bet they do not have them anyway) or even a hot dog. Especially do not ride the subway or stand next to tracks….
I don’t know, Charlie…..not pointing fingers right now but it seems that lack of enforcement, lack of police, cashless bail…..is a big part of this. People are not afraid to get caught, it seems.
Down here, we have had a few snatch and grab issues but most are getting shot or captured but not let out of jail. Everyone has doorbell cameras or some sort of security. I have security on all sides of my home that are motion triggered and pop up on the TV immediately. I have a pistol holstered right next to the front and back doors within an arms reach….we have 20 guage shotguns in the bedrooms. We are responsible for our own security, not the police or sheriff. Neither the missus nor I go anywhere not armed and if we find a restaurant that prohibits weapons….we leave, as most people do. Some restaurant owners are calling foul and tried to get the cities to enforce gun laws that are the same and the courts laughed them away. That is a soft target begging for problems. Our teachers are armed (those that want to be) and college students can carry weapons on campus and in class rooms. But, we are not without crime…but we do not have many snatch and grabs because I do not know of a store owner that is not armed and in Texas, we can chase them down without penalty. ( If you do that, however, you better prove why you chased them down.) But that is our independence and because Texas is primarily a cattle state…trespass is, at minimum, a class B misdemeanor subject to $1000 fine and 180 days in jail. That means that anybody that even cuts across your property can be held for trespass. Well, being cattle country and posting and fencing your property is fair warning, just do not do it. It goes to criminal trespass….
Just pick your targets carefully if you decide to rob or do mischief here…and remember, by the most part, the only unarmed people are the babies that cannot walk yet.
I don’t know, Charlie…..not pointing fingers right now but it seems that lack of enforcement, lack of police, cashless bail…..is a big part of this. People are not afraid to get caught, it seems.
Texas also has the highest rape rate in the country. Crimes are everywhere, Colonel. As for NY, the bottom line is the cops have their own problems, especially with “ego” … piss them off and you may catch a beating or a bullet. Too many are punks with badges. Hit one and you’re going to prison. Shoot one and you might as well shoot yourself. I have little use for the bullshit about them being 95% good. It’s a LOT closer to 50-50. Some are total fucking criminals.
I think the wild west approach is asking for shit to happen you probably don’t want to happen. You make it sound simple. Then why the high crime rate down there? (15th country wide for violent crime) Is it really ALL immigrants?
Also, as regards the bail situation. It’s a tough one because something like 80% or more of those on Riker’s island have yet to be tried and can’t afford bail. Keeping someone in jail on an allegation is criminal.
Have you ever seen the documentary, The 75, Colonel? It’s goes back to the 80’s but we still have those kinds of arrests of police to this day in NY.
Yes, I don’t have an answer for you on this one…I’m not sure of the law here on this (will research it because I am now curious) …..if I am not mistaken, and Colonel’s rarely are (cough, cough) I think you can hold them for only 72 hours without charging them…..not sure. Will find out though.
Take a look at the stats and look at the years…..compare it to the immigration. The rapes are tied almost exclusively to illegals….the stats are there. But, i did say, we are not without crime….it is exponentially tied to immigration….However, as I said, we are not without crime. But we believe in taking care of ourselves. We call the police after the fact, in most cases.
The other crimes that are running out of control are thefts, petty thefts, car jacking, DUI, burglaries…….most…not all..but most are tied directly to illegals. Especially the rapes….that is a big issue here. The increase in DUI’s, according to the Department of Public Safety, are illegals. Petty thefts and burglaries are tied to the illegals. But, we live with that and we know about it and we expect it.
So, we will protect ourselves and go armed everywhere. You may call it vigilante justice, we do not. We do not hunt people down but we will protect ourselves and our property with deadly force if we so choose.
I don’t call it vigilante justice. I call it reckless, but to each his own.
Fair enough….
Anecdote? ONE case when thousands of others ended with no one hurt? You cannot tell me that a drawn firearm, pointed in the right direction but not fired would NOT stop +95% of crimes. Stats prove it has.
Sure worked well in Uvalde. 🙂
Uvalde was an abomination. Every teacher there should be fired along with the principal…..follow that with the ineffective police force that never took appropriate action and fire every one of them. The front line defense for those children are the teachers. Security checks were ignored…..as I said, I get angry every time I think about it…because of the incompetence. Makes me want to smoke a dill pickle.
What a terrible lesson to learn….and, just like the people sitting on the subway watching green goblins terrorize, the police force that showed up were no better.
The person, I am not saying whom, that sent a QRT force from Del Rio had the right idea. Once that team was on site, three minutes later it was over. THAT is how it is supposed to happen. No arbitration, no jurisdictional disputes…..just arrive, go in shooting, and leave. There are children involved and the dead were piling up……..just pure incompetence on the locals….and even the State forces that showed up but were denied rights to enter because of jurisdiction crap and they argued jurisdiction instead of going in…..shameful.
Agreed.
Randy!
Here’s one that makes you go hmmmm…. I’ve pasted a few paragraphs of the article.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The founder and CEO of a software company targeted by election deniers was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing data on hundreds of Los Angeles County poll workers.
Konnech Corporation’s Eugene Yu, 51, was arrested in Meridian Township in Michigan and held on suspicion of theft of personal identifying information, while computer hard drives and other “digital evidence” were seized by investigators from the county district attorney’s office, according to the office.
Konnech is a small company based in East Lansing, Michigan. In 2020, it won a five-year, $2.9 million contract with LA County for software to track election worker schedules, training, payroll, and communications, according to the county registrar-recorder/county clerk, Dean C. Logan.
Konnech was required to keep the data in the United States and only provide access to citizens and permanent residents but instead stored it on servers in the People’s Republic of China, the DA’s office said.
The DA’s office didn’t specify what specific information allegedly was taken. But officials said it only involved poll workers, not voting machines or vote counts and didn’t alter election results.
“But security in all aspects of any election is essential so that we all have full faith in the integrity of the election process,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement.
Why would that kind of information be needed for poll workers and why would the guy store it on servers in PRC? Wouldn’t be so the PRC could intimidate poll workers, could it? I’m just asking. You wonder why I think elections get stolen? Stuff like this. This article doesn’t prove a thing, but it adds to the pile. I’m not crazy.

Are you aware of how many servers were illegally copied by Trump people who hired an outside service? They have videos of them.

Yes, I am.
LOL, I just saw that the first looters arrested in Florida are………………illegally here.
It is official: Mystery Inc. member Velma is revealed to be a lesbian in new clips from the upcoming animated Halloween flick, “Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!”
OHHH NOOO,,,,,,not Velma…what will I do?
The U.S. Secret Service insisted that no records exist of who President Biden has met with at his Delaware residences during his presidency, according to a report Wednesday. The New York Post reported that it requested the information about who visited the president at his Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach homes as part of the Freedom of Information Act but had its appeal denied. In a letter dated Sept. 27, Secret Service deputy director Faron Paramore wrote, “the agency conducted an additional search of relevant program offices for potentially responsive records,” according to the paper.
Of Course not……..they were probably at Trump’s place
“they were probably at Trump’s place”
As they should be. The Orange Jesus still owes them stuff. 🙂
I meant Biden’s papers.
I’m all for Biden and his son being investigated, indicted and prosecuted, Colonel. The entire government is corrupt to the core, but that does not excuse what Trump tried to do on MANY fronts.
So anybody can walk in? Gotta stop by next week.
I gotta come down here because I have respect for the Colonel’s passion up above.
Seriously Colonel? You smoke dill pickles when you get pissed? I mean, I know some people who could hook you up with some better stuff for attitudes than dill pickles. Just say the word, brother. LMAO
Naaaahhhh…I just sometimes get so frustrated that it makes me want to…..missing man Mathius would just lay back and say…..wow, man…hook up a joint.
Herschel Walker … from my FB post last night about one of Walker’s baby-momma’s being the one he paid for an abortion for: “Whether it’s true or not (and it is LIKELY true due to all the other lies Herschel Walker has been caught telling), Trump supporters in Georgia won’t care. They will vote for an inarticulate, dumb as a bag of hammers, documented women abuser and pathological liar over an incredibly articulate, very smart, REVEREND.
And that’s all you need to know about America today.” 🙂
So, Charlie…speak your mind and quit beating around the bush….
Honesty time here. How many of you all would vote for Walker vs. Warnock?
It would be a no vote for me. Neither man deserves a vote.
I doubt the rest will respond. 🙂 Although I do wonder what your beef with Warnock is.
I do not like his approach to agriculture, lgbtq education, and his stances on abortion. I also do not like his approach to the environment.
Warnock barely got by Loeffler in that runoff. Good riddance to her because she was never elected to begin with and she back stabbed Trump on Jan 6 after Trump endorsed her and campaigned for her. My money is on Walker.
Anita, my love … oy vey! 🙂
🙂 I remember her at the rally. The audience was very lukewarm to her and she didn’t come across as very intelligent. Trump would have probably been better off not endorsing her, but when you have lemons, you have to make lemonade
2nd attempt since the fascists CANCELLED my previous post…
It’s not lost on me that you posted at exactly 4:20. Sneaky dog.
gonna need some more bonus points for that.
Would you believe me if I swore this was a coincidence?
No
Comrade Burr!
Absolute HORSE SHIT.
She also just slandered the head coach of the Dolphins. If I were he I would be suing immediately.
Because you’re a good capitalist, JAC, and couldn’t care less about the people you employ (to “earn” your profits). 🙂
Resorting to personal attacks, by just making shit up, is not an argument.
You are a broken record. One that never had anything worth listening to in the first place.
What was made up, JAC? Did the Dolphins put their QB back in harms way twice within 4 days of a concussion or not?
Oh, and look, one of the Gravy Seals flipped. 🙂
ROTFLMAO,

Good Morning SUFA
Yes, JAC, he’s ALL we can think about … because it OWNS the neocons. 🙂
How can we ignore him when he’s such an iconic Republican? 🙂

Thanks for making the case that nothing lives up there but Trump.
Oh, excuse me. It looks like Trump and Walker.
You just claimed I wasn’t worth listening to, yet you listened? 🙂
Unaccompanied migrant children arrived on flights to a rural New York community and local officials said Friday they were given no advance notice by the Biden administration”I’ve never seen anything like this before,” said Brescia, whose town is located in the Hudson Valley, about 75 miles north of New York City. Arteta said officials don’t know where the parents are, but the children continued on to other areas of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
There is nothing else to say…..
Governor’s Abbott and DeSantis are constantly badgered about sending immigrants to various places…..Yet the Mayor of El Paso has sent three times the number on buses and nothing is said.
There is noting else to say….except the hypocrisy is….well…unfathomable.
COVID-19 relief funds from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) went to a transgender dance studio in San Francisco that teaches breathing exercises to people of color who are sick of “White people’s bulls—” and “founding father f—boys,” among other activities.
I wish I had words for this….
It’s ALMOST as bad as cruise lines that sail under foreign flags to avoid U.S. taxes getting BILLIONS in Covid-Relief … that was Mr. Trump too, by the way. 🙂
I’m reading Maggie Haberman’s book, Confidence Man … the Orange Jesus has been a piece of shit his entire life. 🙂
Cruise lines sail under foreign flags to avoid the US Coast Guard regulations and the Unions. Taxes have little to do with it. Actually most lines are foreign owned to begin with. The US maritime fleet went bust a long time ago.
Then again there was the time, not that long back, when Red Hook Brooklyn became quite the CruisPort. UNTIL, Mayor Mike (Bloomberg) refused to let them run their own generators because of pollution. Instead, he wanted them hooked up to the local Utility , Con Edison, at $ 40,000 per day. They moved to Bayonne Joisey! How many jobs lost?
Wrong again. “International law requires every ship to register with a country and fly its insignia in open waters. A ship is only subject to the laws of the country it is registered in.
Under an obscure, 99-year-old section of the US tax code, cruise companies are able to register their ships with countries that have more lenient laws than the US — an act called flying a “flag of convenience” — and avoid paying into the US tax system.
It’s a tax loophole big enough to drive a cruise ship through.”
Having a merchant mariner in the family, I disagree.
Disagreeing with the FACTS is your thing … but it’s always good to have an anecdotal reference, I guess. 🙂
Think Biden will have US Troops in Ukraine before 2024?
I suspect he already does. But I do not think he has the brass to go full on engagement.
Maybe he’ll bomb an empty military airport like Trump did. 🙂
And give them a warning first. 🙂
Old news presented in a new way. Easy to understand. Which of course creates quite the conundrum for those voting this fall, or next, or after that. It is almost always a “hold your nose moment”.

The worst tornado(s) storm that I remember in northern IL was in the spring of 1967. I had just come home from college and was sitting in the big chair in the living room reading when the storm hit. Heavy wind storms were common so I did not pay much attention. I do remember saplings being horizontal to the ground but not breaking. Very high winds followed by lots of rain. The local fire department heard of tornadoes north of town so sent their trucks in that direction. One had its rear wheels lifted off the ground.
Reports soon came in about Belvidere, IL. One of the many twisters hit the school while the buses were loading with the elementary classes. Some of the buses were tossed about. The roof came off the school (K-12) and dropped on the buses. The high school kids were the ones to who pulled the young kids out of the buses. Several were dead. A short distance away was the big Belvidere Chrysler plant. It was untouched but had hundreds of workers inside.
The next day I drove north of town to view damage done by one twister that went down a road 5 miles north of town. On one farm where a big barn had been was two stacks of hay with a tractor in between. Not a stick of wood. The wood was a 1/4 mile away drifted up against a fence. The house only 100 yds downwind of the barn was unharmed. A mile down the road was an old barn with about 1/3 of the boards missing for years and leaning about 10°. No damage at all from the storm.
Later in the summer, we rebuilt the roof of a barn a few miles away that had been torn off. Only about a third of the roof was gone. We managed to save the remainder by jacking it back up and pulling down some of the bad sections. The loft was empty so the distance from the floor to the peak was about 30′. It was a tricky job and took us a day and half just to figure out how to attack it. At one point Dad almost admitted defeat and was ready to call in a crane. But with ingenuity, we figured out how to save the barn using only hand tools.
Proving once again it is extremely hard for someone who does not personally understand something to write about it. Even if that person carries academic credentials.

A reminder to those at SUFA. Back in the beginning I explained to everyone how Ayn Rand absolutely had no use for “Libertarians.”
Does it get more RACIST than this? This piece of shit was a football coach. I wonder how his black players feel today knowing they were playing for a blatant racist.
“They” … really? Go ahead, Christian Republican Patriots … marry this to Jesus.
Throw this on the grooming pile.

Anita, my love. Matt Geotz. 🙂
What about him? Any charges? If he’s in the mix, then do what has to be done. Focus, my man. Is any thing in my link ok with you?
I like sending ALL politicians to jail. ALL … then let us take over! (us meaning me). 🙂
Happy Monday, folks!
Hmm… that didn’t work… ok, try this link.
And, related to that link…
For the colonel…
And, last but not least,a bonus for the good colonel..*
*Note: These are all really for all of you lunatics.
Woops.. missed one…
Tch Tch,,,,,,,,now, I know this is a lie….Texas does not want ANY of Canada.
But it wouldn’t be Canada if it was part of Texas….
True…but then, being surrounded by Canadians……I would have to put up more border wall so I could hear “missing man Mathius” complain about imaginary lines….But Mathius is MIA and the Pirate is caught on a sandbar……who knows what happens next….
But Mathius is MIA and the Pirate is caught on a sandbar
A sandbar, you say! Y’aarrgh! Lies and damned dirty lies!
I seem to recall a time when yeh went all the way up to Wyoming… hey, Tex, why don’t you tell the others in this here lunatic asylum why Texas’ “hat” terminates at the 36½th parallel. I’m sure they’d be interested.
Because we did not want anything North of that…..You would be glad to know that there was a great fight about that and Texas only became a slave state by one vote.
But, keeping that in mind, following the lines kept it a slave state. One of those imaginary lines, you see.
This seems like a really well adjusted individual…
For Charlie…
It’s missing the part where we hang the guy with the capital. 🙂
Why?
Is something wrong with your guillotine?
Takes too long to clean the blade.
Here’s one for everybody … is Tommy Tuberville a racist piece of shit or a good, God fearing, Christian and Patriot? 🙂
https://www.npr.org/2022/10/10/1127872936/senator-tuberville-racist-reparations-stereotype
No…..you do not know how to operate it….too mechanical for a lad from Pluto.
I do not know this guy from Adam…..however, I read your link…from NPR, no less. It turned my stomach, but in the interest of understanding your position, I read it.
“They want crime because they want to take over what you got. They want to control what you have. They want reparations because they think the people that do the crime are owed that,” Tuberville added. “Bull****! They are not owed that.”
Now, please, you always say that words mean things. Nowhere in this statement do I see anything that is racist. I see an attack on Democrats wanting crime….I see a statement using THEY, referring to Democrats, wanting to control things.( this is a true statement )…..I see the term THEY, referring to Democrats, using the term reparations in an attempt to invoke blacks……I see the statement of the Dems thinking that the people that do the crime are owed that ( This is a common theme among democrats, especially the squad)……I do not see a reference stated about any race….yet, you see one….but,, I am sure, that your argument will be to mean it was “implied.” Bullshit…nothing implied other that what NPR made it up to be.
However, I posted some time ago a where Don Lemon, a black news anchor from your beloved CNN, was lectured by a lady about reparations by saying if you want reparations, it should start at the beginning of black slavery….you know…the blacks that were captured by other blacks and sold to whites…..
You mentioned nothing about this because it does not fit your narrative. So, since you like implications, one can imply that black slavery in the colonial times actually started in Africa. My point is about interpretation.
In a press statement, NAACP President Derrick Johnson called Tuberville’s comments “flat out racist, ignorant and utterly sickening.”
I would ask where he made a racist statement or was this, again, an inferred opinion from a black activist designed to invoke a measured activist response.
“His words promote a centuries-old lie about Black people that throughout history has resulted in the most dangerous policies and violent attacks on our community,” Johnson added.
Again, this is activist incitement and inflammatory speech, in my opinion. It is inferred.
Why have you taken your approach?
I’ll go no further than this: “Now, please, you always say that words mean things. Nowhere in this statement do I see anything that is racist.”
Maybe you agree with him that ALL blacks want “reparations” because their pro crime (as if there’s no white crime in America) … please, Colonel. You’re not that dumb. Is there another group to assign reparations to? Please.
you wish to go no further because there is no answer. Reparations is a buzz word and no reparations are due…..unless you go back to the source.
Again, I see that he is referring to Democrats…..not any race or culture. But you made this statement….”the Democrats destroying YOUR very White and very Prejudiced country,”…..
are you not lumping all whites in this as a group?
Just the MAGA whites.
Ahh…
Thank you Colonel. I read and took it the same as you did, but I didn’t comment because I wanted to find his whole speech at the rally to see if there was more context, but never got around to checking him at the rally. Charlie may have ( sorry if I am assuming, Charlie) gotten extra triggered by Tubberville because he first posted an opinion piece by a random YouTuber who, in a 1 minute video, broke it down in a clunky sort of way, assigning things to Tubberville that I just didn’t hear. I watched the video and read the transcript, and it just doesn’t comes out as racism to me.
Well, I think it depends on implication….the left will read it as “it is implied” much like the time worn sky is falling “systemic racism”.
I prefer to read it as the they and them was being referred to the Democratic party.
All in interpretation.
Connecting the dots or, as my late father, the Master Bartender, Sage and former USAAF Sergeant would have said “It’s the things you don’t know that can get you killed”.
Former District Attorney Chesa Boudin, removed by popular demand, from his San Francisco position turns out to be the son of Weather Underground terrorist Kathy Boudin, a member of the group that blew themselves up at their West Greenwich Village townhouse in 1971 and later was convicted in the robbery of a Brinks armored car that left two police officers and a Brinks guard dead. Boudin, who served a long sentence when paroled joined the Columbia University faculty! After her conviction, she placed her young son, Chesa in the care of two unconvicted Weatherman friends, Bill Ayres and Bernadette Dohrn who raised him. You may remember that these two also mentored an aspitring politician and community Activist by the name of Barack Obama who later denied knowing them.
Somehow all this never seemed to be generally known.
https://www.inquirer.com/obituaries/kathy-boudin-weather-underground-obituary-20220502.html?fbclid=IwAR3GsFSuIbZeav4R_TUx0QOPZTjSVjbgOn20R-kD1r4pjBmCPqI8ngbruKs
I’m sure it’s very important to your delusions about the Democrats destroying YOUR very White and very Prejudiced country, SK … but what say you on Tommy Tubberville’s racist rants yesterday. No more room for empathy? How about honesty?
the Democrats destroying YOUR very White and very Prejudiced country,
Spoken like a true revolutionary.
But not one who would attack the capital … and take pictures of myself doing it … and then depend on the GOP to defend an act of insurrection. 🙂
Right out of Atlas Shrugged!

I guess he gutted the system just so he could study it and get a big prize.
Tulsi Gabbard is joining the march away from the D party. Let’s see…We have the WalkAway movement with Brandon Straka, Blexit with Candace Owens leading the way, bringing people like Kanye West along. We have legal hispanics here who are furious about illegal immigration, now Tulsi will probably bring the non radical Ds along with her. Who is left on the left. Not enough to win elections legally, that’s who.
Going to be interesting to see how many Democrats are replaced by Republican Hispanics in South Texas…..I would not count on Cuellar winning this time.
It is going to be more interesting to see if South Texas, long a Democrat stalwart, will remain the same. And, I might add, this has nothing to do with gerrymandering because South Texas is pure Democrat…however, their turning towards Republicans does not mean they are not still Democrat…it just means that the Democrats are getting wiser.
But, we shall see what happens. All the progs in the world are useless until the votes are counted.
But the votes aren’t counted fairly, Colonel. Don’t you remember. Any time a Republican loses, it was rigged! 🙂
LOL…you mean like everyone in prison is innocent?
I think you were on your sabbatical when I mentioned that Texas was actively recruiting Hispanic conservatives. It seems to be working….and working primarily because the message of Democrats is not a good message.
Anita, my love … Kanye just pissed off a lot of American Jews with his latest racist rants. I know it doesn’t affect the racists on the right and they’ll ignore it, but I’m not sure the rest of the country will. Then again, the left can always cheat and make sure the GOP never wins again. 🙂
Blacks seem to be allowed racist rants against Jews, Just ask Sharpton and “Hymietown” Jessie Jackson! I won’t even go into the Nation of Islam. Then again a libertarian black or the “new” Malcolm X is fair game.
And like Jesus said, SK, “If the blacks do it, everybody can!”
You’re such an icon of morality. 🙂

In jail,must be my computer.
Not much fun in there….and when JAC is away fishing, you have to sit in the dark confines of Internet Hell…..however, the Colonel has your back. Write your post and before you send it, copy it. If it does not post, then start a new one and then paste it. That works for me.
But, I fear, that since it is you and I that seem to be exiled to Elba of the internet, me thinks there is some strange conspiracy to mess with us from “Missing Man Mathius” and the Pirate. Even the damned dog probably knows something.
Thank you for the good advise. Blaming Mathius sounds a lot more fun and cheaper than blaming my computer. 😄
I think Mathius is being held captive in the hold of a ship that the Pirate says is not stuck on a sandbar. he Pirate tried to navigate the inter-coastal waters along the Matagorda line at night….his charts did not show that the sand bars change with the tide. I fear his first mate is either shark bait or in the hold.
Wrong again, cowpoke. He hasn’t been seen since the other night when his wife gave him that special apology dinner
No sandbar can hold 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓗𝓪𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓻!
Damned lies, I tell you!
Aye, we all know that Mathius had a special grub….’n has nah been heard from once again….but, unless he has been through a wood chipper, the only other logical assumption be the hold.
Also, perhaps ye “are at anchor” on the sand bar but may I ask …..where be the first mate?
The
MathiusEmilius household has a special room. This room exists on no blueprints and was discovered completely by accident. The previous owners did not even know it existed. It can only be accessed through [redacted]. It is possible that the original owners built it as either some kind of fallout shelter or saferoom.
Seeing as Emilius lovingly refers to this (rather perturbing) room as the “murder room,” I might suggest you start your search there.
Completely unrelated link posted here for no reason whatsoever
Due to recent circumstances, Canine Weapon has come to live aboard 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓗𝓪𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓻. He has been promoted to First Mate after the previous first mate fell into a vat of Red Bull and was never quite the same afterward.
As the unseen raptor flies from the top gallant mast where it has been observing the Hammer, another mystery has been solved….through a mysterious port hole (not on blueprints) there has been a whiff of churros….hence the disappearance of the Churro Man has, likewise, been solved. Very sneaky…..very sneaky, indeed, Done in true Pirate fashion.
Bein’ a rather sneaky individual meself…..a compliment t’ the cap’n….Well Done….Well Done.
V.H.
Sorry for the later release order. I was working today and just got around to checking in. You got a new record …. THREE to the spam locker in one day.
😀 I only remember 2
There were three with you name on them. But now I can only find two as well.
Maybe it was an older post. Strange.
A downtown Atlanta apartment building mostly owned by the church of Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., has reportedly been evicting disadvantaged tenants while the church pays the senator a hefty monthly housing stipend.
Of course.
Almost as bad as the Brett Favore, Republican Governors ripping off welfare recipients … except for a lot less money.
Actually…..much worse. Favre and the others have been caught…and are repaying….What this guy is doing is legal…..because he can. This is a pariah.
this guy has thrown families out……is throwing families out…..and all before the holidays.
You do realize the Orange Jesus and his Daddy kept minorities out of their buildings and were forced to cave and claim nolo contender.
WHAT ABOUT .
DIVERSION
STRAW MAN
So that makes ’em even, eh?
Not at all, Colonel. Warnock hasn’t beat any women, held a gun to one’s head, abandoned several children he fathered … nor has he paid for abortions. That would be your guy. 🙂
They’ve been caught and Favre still owes interest on his $1.1 million dollar non-lecture … and if they’re caught, where are the indictments?
There is going to be no indictment on Favre…..the others will most likely be indicted. Favre repaid the money given him and I think that the interest is iffy. But, I have to confess, I think all interest to the government is wrong….both ways.
Whether or not it was a dog and pony show or his fame acquitted him….he had no pleading, as far as I know…he simply acquiesced, claimed that the money paid him was wrong, and he repaid it. The only issue now is the interest.
As to his compatriots…..I would assume there is fraud.
By the way, if anybody knows, it will save me some research….who banned the books, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and To Kill a Mockingbird? Anyone know? And why?
uh oh. The Muslims in Dearborn have joined with Christians in backlash against the LGBTQ agenda. Parents are becoming aware of books in school libraries addressing sexuality in explicit terms. The mixed crowd got heated at the school board meeting and it ended up shutting down the meeting. Parents are upset that the school board chose to shut down rather than hear more parent’s concerns. Another meeting is scheduled for Thursday. Wonder who will be the first to call the Muslims domestic terrorists. Pass the popcorn.

Yes…..this also smacks of “swamp creatures” and the hyperbole of Trump issues. Why,,,,,,,,I ask again…….why is everybody afraid of Trump? Forget his past dealings, they are of no consequence as let those without sin cast the first stone thingy…..The FBI was weaponized against him…..for what reason? They made up Russian stories that are now false….FBI whistleblowers, 22 at last count, are coming forward with what they were told….and they were told to sink Trump. WHY?
The world was afraid of Trump….which I saw nothing wrong with that. I WANT the world afraid of us. We need to do the same things as China is doing….and then some.
But forget all the hyperbole………WHY is the world afraid of Trump? They should be afraid of Biden. Biden is stoking the nuclear conflict thing…..I never heard Trump sound the “Bay of Pigs” alert or the Russian confrontation alert. Why is the left so dearly afraid of him? (Other than he will and should undo a lot of this crap out there)…..Trump was not on the Cartel payroll…..like Biden is. Trump was not on the China payroll…..like Biden is. Perhaps that is the reason why….he could not be bought off?
Yes, I do not like his ego….and I did not like the Twitter crap….Yes, he has a loud mouth and an ego bigger than the most bragadocio Texan….but he could not be twisted around the axis of the swamp like puppet Biden is. I do not have the answers but I can see results….and the results have been horrible.
Charlie, before you rant, you already know that I am not a Trump fan…..never have been and not one now….but this country by far…..BY FAR….is worse off now, under Biden, than it was when Trump had the reins. Please do not bore me with what Trump did as a businessman or what he and his father did as businessmen or how bad he was with employees or anything PRIOR to his election….all of that stuff did not affect his tenure as POTUS or, at least, I did not see it.
Now, before you rant about Jan 6, remember that occurred AFTER the election so do not throw Jan 6 at me….concentrate on his tenure as POTUS. Why is the left so scared of Trump? Why are the oligarchs scared of Trump? Why are the European elites scared of Trump? Why is China so scared of Trump? Why is Russia so scared of Trump?
I do not have the answers and do not propose to have them….but I want to know the fear factor. AND, unless the Dems put up another candidate that is not going to walk lock step with this “woke” and “gender” agenda, and all this cancel culture that seems to be rampant……I will vote for a rabid dog before I vote Democratic ( and, as I have told you, I have voted Democratic before ) But they have gone so far over the line for me that I cannot support any of the agenda now…..even the good portions.
So, WHY THE FEAR….no straw man issues please. If the man is guilty and should not be POTUS,,,,,,well, you already know my answer to that. Find him guilty and jail him.

Yes they are, I figure most of the parents believe they are doing what’s right for their children but these doctors they know better. Politicians also seem to believe that the state own our children.

EXCLUSIVE: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was told that the photographer who captured a clash between Border Patrol agents and Haitian migrants in Del Rio had said that the incident was being misconstrued — hours before Mayorkas joined a White House press conference where he didn’t challenge the false narrative. The Sept. 24, 2021 email, obtained by the Heritage Foundation via a Freedom of Information Act request (FOIA), shines light onto internal deliberations surrounding the controversy in Del Rio, Texas, where Democrats and the White House pushed a narrative that migrants had been “whipped” or “strapped” by Border Patrol agents despite it being quickly debunked In fact, agents were using split reins to control their horses as migrants rushed across the river. But a narrative, based on a misinterpretation of photographs, was running and on Sept. 24 was further fueled by President Biden.
“To see people treated like they did, horses barely running over, people being strapped — it’s outrageous,” Biden told reporters, making a whipping motion with his hand. “I promise you, those people will pay. There will be an investigation underway now, and there will be consequences. There will be consequences.”The investigation is still ongoing more than a year later, but findings by the Office of Professional Responsibility in July found that no whips were in their possession and no migrant was struck by the reins.
But just hours after Biden made his inflammatory remarks to cameras, Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, emailed Mayorkas and cc’d other DHS leadership, alerting them to a news article that showed that the photographer who took the images did not see any whipping. In the email, Espinosa highlighted the comments from the photographer where he directly says he did not witness any whipping. Our nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are. We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism,” Mayorkas said.Mayorkas, earlier in the week, had spoken alongside Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, and had defended the agents — even pointing out that agents use long reins to control their horses, not as whips. But by the end of the week, that clarification was abandoned.”It clearly shows they are willing to lie to the American people for their self interests,” he said. “They withheld facts and anytime you withhold facts from the American people.. you should step down from your job. Better men step down. This clearly shows they are not better men.”The investigation found “no evidence” that agents struck migrants and found that they were not carrying whips.

Convince me that this is a misunderstanding instead of an outright LIE. A LIE designed for a purpose…..who is the greatest liar?

Raiders’ Davante Adams finds support from head coach after ‘Monday Night Football’ shove.
He gets my support as well. Any reporter or sports commentator that gets in the way or shoves a camera in the face of anyone uninvited….deserves to be pushed out of the way. The media does not get “carte blanche” privilege.
There have been several times that I have pushed my way through photographers at the border and will continue to do this. There has been two times that I remember for sure where I pushed a camera in the face of the camera person. Probably got a black eye from it. If you wish an interview, ask me. Throwing questions at me will not get answers and are not deserved.
“Jan. 6 panel to argue Trump remains a ‘clear and present danger’” … not to mention a clear and present moron, piece of shit, scumbag, coward. 🙂

So, the therapist shouldn’t really do the job of a therapist, they should just be an ally and keep that production line moving to the “next step”.
A few years ago, the big thing to be against was FGM. Now it is cut it all off. This is totally insane.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11302085/Patients-detransitioned-sex-change-operations-reveal-regret.html
Then we have this. They both spoke about needing actual therapy. I’m not sure that exist anymore for this issue. Their “allies” failed them completely.
So, how many of you are going to contribute to Alex Jones’ GoFundMe page? Don’t forget, he was a good Trump supporting Patriot outside the Capitol on January 6, 2021 too. Word is he owes close to $1 billion … but not to worry, the laws the capitalist pigs created to protect their wealth will allow Jones to continue his conspiracy profit machine … and I’m sure it’s what Jesus would want.
Well, sir…he has already claimed bankruptcy,,,,,and he is a piece of shit and I know of zero conservatives that back him.
And just two weeks ago you were saying nobody needs a billion dollars.
They don’t. It’ll be spread around to all the families who lost kids in a school shooting and were mocked by RIGHT WING ASSHOLES. So, tell me, JAC, are you feeling a little bad for poor Mr. Jones? Did you giggle when he mocked the families who lost their kids? The colonel doesn’t know of any conservatives who back him, yet I doubt it was plutonians or other lefties who swore allegiance to this piece of shit. “During the Texas trial, an economist who testified for the parents estimated Jones’ worth between $135 and $270 million.” Who do you think was funding Mr. Jones? Republicans or Democrats or socialists or others? 🙂 🙂 🙂
None or all the above…..it is a moot point. The scum bag was found guilty on almost all counts……now he must pay but I am just wondering….I will have to look it up…..was this a civil trial? No criminal liability? Have to look this one up.
Civil, yes. There was already a default of guilt of his actions. These last two cases were about the amounts of dollars he was being sued/awarded. He should be dragged through the streets behind a NASCAR car doing about 200 MPH.
Default of guilt? I think you mean a default judgement. That simply means he did not answer a suit so a judge enters a default judgement. It does not imply guilt of anything except his slander. Otherwise, it would have been criminal.
As in most civil suits, bankruptcy is the way out of paying. If he was smart, which I doubt, he has his assets protected and they cannot attach them unless he was found….note the use of the term “found”…guilty of civil conspiracy. Then that can go to criminal intent.
He should be dragged through the streets behind a NASCAR car doing about 200 MPH.
Why are you being so lenient…..I mean, after all, 200 mph behind a NASCAR is cool but way too fast.
I like the idea of being stripped naked, dragged horseback through the Cholla cactus patch (Cholla is a cactus plant whose spins have barbs and cannot be pulled out), then staked out on a fire ant mound (face up) in the noon sun (with mescal sugar syrup covering his body..it takes about 36 hours for the fire ants to consume the body alive) with his eyelids severed so he cannot close them, his tongue split so no saliva can wet his lips and his head staked immobile so it cannot turn away (the sun blistering of the retina is quite painful).
( I assume you know what fire ants are……far, far worse than the red ant.)
Okay, your way is better.
A Comanche thing?
Why, yes it is…….I live in Comanche territory. They were very good at this sort of thing.
I might mention that in Vietnam, the Vietcong had something similar. They would take bamboo stakes (think punji stakes) brought to a sharp point and bury them to where the razor like tips were 1/4 inch above ground. Any village chief that did not support the Vietcong, was nailed to a wall and had to watch his family members stipped and thrown on the ground and pulled across those stakes until the skin was stripped off their backs and then turn them over and do the same to their front side. Then suspend them from a tree branch covered in Papaya juice where their toes are barely touching the ground. Over there there they have an ant called the Weaver Ant. Nasty little bugger. The ants would start at the toes and work their way upwards….At dusk, the bats were drawn to the papaya and the smell of stripped skin….they started at the top. All of this was done in front of the village chief. Then when his family members were dead after 12 hours or so of screaming pain, they blinded him with a hot poker and let him go. The word spread quickly throughout the jungle environment…..do not go against the Vietcong. Very effective.
“Then when his family members were dead after 12 hours or so of screaming pain, they blinded him with a hot poker and let him go. The word spread quickly throughout the jungle environment”
Just think, they could’ve saved all that time and effort by pulling a Lt. Calley and wiping out the village without so much effort.
Well, I happen to have the Calley transcript….but, Calley was a scapegoat…he was a mere lieutenant.
But, one incident, as horrific as it was….does not justify the thousands of incidents the Vietcong pulled.
Pick one or two. You have several covered.
https://www.grammarly.com/blog/logical-fallacies/
Are you kidding JAC……..his head will explode. And it is especially vulnerable because these Jan 6 hearings are the very food he exists on. He insists that the hearing is fair and that the findings are just……and they are no more just than the Russian hoax.
However, it is what it is….and if the Republicans win the house…..and they start their investigations and hand pick their committee members, then you will hear the opposite. And, if the Republicans win the house AND Senate….I am sure we will hear that the MAGA crowd did it and he will probably jump on the Pelosi wagon or the Warren wagon that he does not understand why so many democrats voted conservative. It is a no win situation.
Think the Orange Jesus will show up and testify under oath?
Please, we know the answer to that one. So, what’s going on fellas? If there’s a trial, I sure hope they televise it … imagine Trump on display in a court? I’d pay big coin to watch that. The bubble you guys exist in is hilarious but very effective for kidding yourselves. What isn’t fair about the hearings? You still haven’t addressed the FACT (Colonel) that it was McCarthy who backed off the hearings (on Trump’s orders?) … you don’t like to two Republicans on the committee, why exactly? Axe to grind? Are you f’ing kidding? They did the honorable thing (so surprised you’re ignoring this) and telling the truth at their own expense. You’re supporting the jellyfish in the GOP by saying “axe to grind” … all they did was vote their conscience on the 2nd impeachment and somehow you find that’s an axe to grind? Wow.
Think the Orange Jesus will show up and testify under oath?
Of course not…..he would be stupid to do so.
If there’s a trial, I sure hope they televise it … imagine Trump on display in a court? I’d pay big coin to watch that.
I would watch it, of course….but I would not pay a nickel.
I’d pay big coin to watch that. The bubble you guys exist in is hilarious but very effective for kidding yourselves
Ok…I will bite. What bubble am I in? If not watching the hearings puts me in a bubble….I am guilty. I will watch a “real” trial…but not a Kangaroo court hearing with out cross examination.
you don’t like to two Republicans on the committee, why exactly? Axe to grind? Are you f’ing kidding? They did the honorable thing (so surprised you’re ignoring this) and telling the truth at their own expense
I have addressed this several times. You just do not like my answers. Being under oath to a committee is laughable and carries no weight whatsoever in a real court of law. You can lie to a committee all you want and you will not serve any time in jail…you won’t even be convicted of perjury. They did the honorable thing in your eyes and I see why you would think that. They were HAND PICKED by Pelosi when others were turned away. That ALONE is suspect. What kind of deals were made, I wonder. (Sorry, I sound like you there).
You’re supporting the jellyfish in the GOP by saying “axe to grind” … all they did was vote their conscience on the 2nd impeachment and somehow you find that’s an axe to grind? Wow.
Nope, wrong on all points where I am concerned. I am quite sure they voted their conscience (if they have one)….
====================================
Now, let me ask you a question or two or three. If there is no indictment and no trial……and Trump does not run….what do you think these Republicans are going to do? How many will turn to Democrats because, like Democrats, if you go against the party, you are out.
If it goes to trial, and Trump is found not guilty, will you accept the verdict? Or will you assume that Trump got to the jury and bribed them.
====================================
The same thing is going to happen if the Republicans win the house….numerous investigations….stacking the hearings with select committee members, mock trials with no cross examination…..etc. ect….is going to happen. The proverbial shoe will be on the other foot. Then I suspect that you will adopt the line that I do…..what do you think?
“You can lie to a committee all you want and you will not serve any time in jail”
Steve Bannon will be sentenced for contempt of Congress in a few weeks.
“If it goes to trial, and Trump is found not guilty, will you accept the verdict? Or will you assume that Trump got to the jury and bribed them.”
If he goes to trial, he has no shot at an acquittal. Whether the Dems have the stones to do it is the question. If they do, he’s toast.
“The proverbial shoe will be on the other foot. Then I suspect that you will adopt the line that I do…..what do you think?”
I couldn’t care less if the Democrats go through the same shit. They’re ALL, except a very few, criminals without spines. Nothing would make me happier than to see Trump and his sycophants in jail (I dream big) and then Biden and his son in jail (while I’m dreaming) but we all know the United States Government is EVERY BIT AS CORRUPT AS THE RUSSIAN Government or any other oligarchic state.
Colonel
After all these years of reading, studying and watching I have reached the same conclusion as you, my brother from another mother.
“It is a no win situation.” (happy you damn pirate)
No win, no matter what the issue as it regards the Republic.
You need to do some more studying, JAC. I’m afraid you’ll have to remove the blinders though …
Liberal media explodes on Troy Aikman over ‘misogynistic’ comment on ‘Monday Night Football’
During Monday’s Kansas City Chiefs-Las Vegas Raiders game, Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones appeared to sack Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, forcing a fumble and recovering the ball. But, because Jones landed on Carr as he made the play, officials threw a flag for roughing the passer. “I hope that the competition committee looks at this during the set of meetings, and we take the dresses off,” Aikman said on ESPN, seemingly upset by the call.
“Yet Aikman using a sexist trope to make a point was offensive, cringy and lazy. The Hall of Famer, after more than two decades in the broadcast booth, should know better by now.”
++++++++++++++++++++++
Of course, this is true…..he left out some pertinent parts like…not only take the dresses off but sew some big balls back on and put on the big boy pants…..its time to play football…it is a contact sport…you signed up for it when you negotiated your multi million dollar contract. SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP.
Arguably the worst call I’ve ever seen. Horrible. And what pisses me off more than the over protectiveness of the officials for QBs is how they ignore everybody else on the field. Lineman knock heads every single play. So do tacklers and receivers/ball carriers … but they aren’t “stars” so … in their never ending desire to protect and expand offense, the NFL looks worse and worse.
Holy moly….we agree on something. There is hope for you yet…………..
I am wondering if the NFL should go ahead and go to flag football….or the old version of……..get ready for this one…….”two below”. I wonder how many rec players remember that game.
Pennsylvania to count undated ballots, election official says, despite US Supreme Court ruling…
Pennsylvania’s election laws have historically required voters to include a signature and date on the outside of return envelopes when voting by mail.
However, acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman announced that Pennsylvania election officials should continue counting ballots that arrive with improperly filled-out envelopes,
“Every county is expected to include undated ballots in their official returns for the Nov. 8 election, consistent with the Department of State’s guidance,”
===================
Well, this is one way for the Dems to win elections….
Col., I detect some doubt in the theory of a immaculate election.
Yes, Trump must have won in 2020 … sure he did. Hang on to that one. 🙂
I am hanging on it….because it is in the past. This attitude just takes the steam away from the left…..this gives up their right to now petition the SCOTUS for anything. After all, if you are not going to abide by the ruling, then you have no reason to approach SCOTUS in the future.
I am taking this “tongue in cheek” because Texas has done the same thing. We have ignored a SCOTUS ruling as well…..therefore, Texas cannot pick and choose either.

Maybe you should self report to the nearest re-education camp.
I tried but I was told I did not qualify because I was too far gone.
Yes, re-education. Ban books, force religion down their throats and suddenly you have a right wing movement that would make Jesus upchuck his breakfast. 🙂
You have no room, sir, to criticize on this particular subject. Your side bans books, movies, TV shows, and cancels people far worse than anyone ever did. And you use the term “inclusive” or “racial issues” to justify the banning of books and movies and even cartoon characters……like my two favorites. Marvin the Martian and Yosemite Sam. So….stop this argument. You have NO stone to cast.
AND….you have even taken a cartoon character from Scooby Do…..and turned her into a lesbian….Holy shit, batman!…..
I forgot one of my favorites also was Wile E. Coyote…..taken off the screen for violence in the Road Runner series.
Don’t forget Aunt Jamima, Uncle Ben, and the Land O Lakes Indian. The only new version I bought, because it was a hard habit to break was the butter. But I have since broken that habit too. Matter of fact, I’ve been shopping at Meijer forever it seems like, but I’ve been shopping Aldi first, pick up what I can there, then go in to Meijer for what I need to fill in. Saves me some cash and makes me feel like I can fight back in a small way.
My side, actual socialists, not dictators American President seem to adore, have no use for censorship of any kind.
Of course they do…..and do often…..their form of censorship is….death.
Colonel … pure bullshit. The actual socialist party is nothing like what you need to frighten morons … and the morons need to cling to it because, well, they’re morons. 🙂
Well, let’s review…..according to research, the “pure” socialists countries are: Cuba, China, North Korea…….EACH of these countries control with eliminating and killing their counterparts and any challengers….Russia is the same way……but in reviewing other types of socialist countries, they rule with para military forces and even Portugal, 2 years ago, eliminated its competition.
Perhaps you could point me some where that is socialist that does not rule from fear, intimidation, and elimination. I cannot find one.
If you disagree with them, you disappear.
What research claims those countries are “pure socialist” … please, they are run by dictators, although Cuba at least provides healthcare and education to their population (which is socialist in principal). There are no “pure” socialist countries, Colonel (and you know it) … on the other hand, how’s that capitalist country called the US&A working out for the majority of its people? “Never forget what Trump said when he was asked once about Putin’s depravities: “You think we’re any better”? Just like a broken clock, OJ is right about twice a day …. every 20 years or so. 🙂
Socialism cannot exist without censorship, propaganda and brain washing the children.
You’re both living in a bubble of bullshit, but fear not, watch this instead:
Come on Charlie…..these hearings are BS…..I do not need to hear one sided commentary. I get that everyday from you and the news media.
Besides….why must you and your ilk dwell in the past. It is over.
I thought you were reasonable, Colonel … but you’re not. That’s a shame. I’m sure, if or when the Orange Jesus is indicted, you’ll feel that is one-sided too. It’s over … that is f’n hilarious from someone who wanted to know when books were banned more than 100 years ago. 🙂
Charlie….I have NOT wavered from my stance. Not one single iota, inch, or whatever measurement you wish to use. Not even a single eyelash. The hearings are one sided…..you wish it to be two sided because there are some Republicans on there that have an axe to grind…..why did Pelosi disqualify three Republicans that I know of to sit on the committee…it is because she did not want credible witnesses for the opposition. Nothing more. What was she afraid of?
Jan 6 is over…what ever the intent was…it failed. The only reason it is being kept alive now…..is to make sure Trump does not run again. That is the sole reason. No one, including you, answered any question I posed above…….why is everyone so afraid of him when Biden has us on the brink of war and no one seems afraid of that. Pure hypocrisy….and, as you know, I have not wavered from my stance whatsoever on……Try him, in an honest court, convict him, then send him away and I will shout from the roof tops…..Charlie was right all along. Until then…..he is innocent. Bottom line…..he…is…innocent.
Oh….come on Charlie……you know better than this. I do not care to hear from them or anyone UNTIL……UNTIL….they are under oath in a true court of law with an indictment…..then..and only then…it is all heresay.
As to the books, Charlie… I know that I am old….but To Kill A Mockingbird was required reading in my high school…so was Uncle Tom’s Cabin…..so was the Diary of Anne Frank….so was the Scarlett Letter. They were required to have reports written on them. One hundred years…patooie.
You lose a lot of credibility with me, sir. These are Republicans (Rhinos?) testifying against Trump. People who voted for him and worked for him. Why would you not want to hear what they have to say except you don’t want to know the truth. That’s (to use Trumpism) “sad.”
Again…I have not wavered from my position. It is still indict, try, convict, hang. All this preliminary crap is just that. Is it possible that they do not have a strong case for insurrection? Or Treason? Is it possible for you to consider that if they did have a strong case, they certainly would not try it on TV unless the aim is different? Do you think they would run the risk of tainting a true jury if they had a case?
WHY ARE THEY NOT INDICTING THE MAN FOR INSURRECTION OR TREASON? CAN YOU ANSWER THAT? (The caps were not meant for yelling but to make a point. I have nothing to yell at you about….yet. I will save my gloating for later, when there is no indictment and when he does not run for a second term. Then, to rob from Monty Python’s In Search of the Holy Grail, “I shall taunt you a second time).
“WHY ARE THEY NOT INDICTING THE MAN FOR INSURRECTION OR TREASON? CAN YOU ANSWER THAT?”
I cannot, except for the BS excuse they’re giving as regards the “biggest investigation in the DOJ’s history” … now, that may be true, because from the evidence presented at the hearings (and it is evidence, sir. Video, audio, testimony UNDER OATH), it appears as though if they go through with indictments, there will be a long list of people indicted (from Orange Jesus down to Giuliani, Eastman, Flynn, Powell, etc.) … no problem with all caps.
STRAWMAN alert!
You’re thinking of Capitalism, JAC. A “free market” would collapse on itself within days … and why is it, you think, it’s always a socialist answer to every single capital collapse? BAIL US OUT! 🙂
I know, I read the bullshit in here before about how none of you like the bailouts … sure.
There is absolutely no rational reason for free markets to collapse, upon themselves or anywhere else.
Bail outs are not a mark of capitalism and not a socialist “answer”. You should know that since you keep howling about “real” socialism. Unless of course you are admitting that the socialists have to have bail outs as a ready answer because their pipe dreams of how economies work, don’t.
Please review the list of logical fallacies I gave you earlier. You missed one or two.

I’m “howling” … you should do standup, JAC … I’m sure you’ll get as many laughs as Johnson did yesterday in his Wisconsin debate. Noam Chomsky says a free market wouldn’t last 5 minutes, but you know better. I was giving you extra time. 🙂
The day I have to attend to your “list” of what you deem fallacies is the day I take you seriously. Probably not going to happen, JAC. The one consistent theme in his place, except (Perhaps) the Colonel, is you all follow the same line of gunk being put out by none other than an absolute pathological, incompetent beyond words, former President who still can’t spew 2 sentences without one of them being a total fabrication. In other words, you’re as credible as a bag of hammers.
Yes, because as we all know, if the Republicans lose an election, it must have been rigged. It’s getting old, Colonel.
You have never (thinking back here……thinking…..thinking…..) heard me claim a stolen election. I have always backed and said that the electorate was correct and Pence did correct. Now, you comment may not have been directed at me, however.
I have only claimed one election stolen…and that was in Houston. When the facts came out, it was indeed stolen and admitted to but since the decision was already in place, it was let stand. That was the election of the Houston Mayor in an off year. We have, however, rectified the problem. It centered around the location and number of unsupervised drop boxes. That problem no longer exists.
Don’t forget, in just 15 minutes, the January 6 hearing … 🙂
Yeah, I know…because you let the tracking gods loose on me. When I’m on YouTube now, I get a little box pop up on me telling me when Brian Taylor Cohen, or whoever that guy is, has posted new videos. He came on live earlier and sure enough, YouTube let me know that too. Thanks for nothin, Charlie!
Anita, my love … I never know how to present you with gifts … but here’s another one (watch the hearings) …
Colonel, what’s up with these Texans? 🙂
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/10/13/texas-family-5-sentenced-january-6-capitol-riot/10484752002/
As I said before, we have our misfits…..this is what stimulus money does.
SMACKDOWN
DAMN Astros.
The funny thing, well not really funny, is that Charlie’s crowd think this article is damaging to either Trump or the Republicans, or both.
But if you pay close attention it is a condemnation of the Democratic AND Republican leadership in Congress. But especially the likes of Schumer and Pelosi.
Now can anyone point out why?
https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/13/politics/pelosi-jan-6-capitol-riot-video/index.html
I don’t know. I do find it convenient that Pelosi ‘s daughter is doing all the filming. And I question Pelosi’s comment that she was waiting for this to happen. She was responsible for protecting the capitol, so why the hel l didn’t she. She was, per her, waiting for it to happen.
“She was responsible for protecting the capitol, so why the hel l didn’t she. She was, per her, waiting for it to happen.”
Does anyone in this SUFA site have an original thought? 🙂
Not when the original thought is the correct one. Would you like to explain why you think I’m wrong. Was it not her responsibility? Did she not refuse to have extra protection?
CLAIM: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blocked the National Guard from coming to the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. As Speaker of the House, Pelosi does not direct the National Guard. Further, as the Capitol came under attack, she and the Senate Majority leader called for military assistance, including the National Guard.
THE FACTS: On Tuesday, a false claim about the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol resurfaced suggesting that Pelosi blocked the National Guard from coming to lawmakers’ defense during the insurrection at the Capitol.
“@SpeakerPelosi, why did you block the National Guard from protecting the Capitol?” Indiana Rep. Jim Banks tweeted.
Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy posed a similar question on Fox News saying, “Was there a decision by the Speaker not to have the National Guard at the Capitol that day?”
The answer is no.
https://www.uscp.gov/the-department/our-history
The presiding officer of the house is Pelosi. The vice president is the President of the Senate and in her absence McConnell is the President pro tempore, which is the presiding officer of the senate. From the article “With the passage of this Act, Congress brought the responsibility of policing the Capitol under the direction of the presiding officer of the House and Senate, and empowered the Capitol watchmen with full law enforcement authorities”. So maybe we can blame all 3. As far as the national guard. Note in the next article that both the sergeants of arms, who boss ‘s are the presiding officer turned down the captain of the capitol police’s request for national guards participation.
https://www.npr.org/2021/01/11/955548910/ex-capitol-police-chief-rebuffs-claims-national-guard-was-never-called-during-ri
Even if you question the honesty of the chief, the official stated that the guard wasn’t requested at all, but the guard could have been sent.
V.H.
You are on solid ground my dear. The argument from the MSM and fact checkers amounts to saying the Commander in Chief is not responsible, or in charge, because others in the executive branch, military, also have authority and/or responsibility for doing things.
Ms. Pelosi and Mr. McConnell could have asked for Guard Units be in place on Jan 6th. That is a FACT. Both Committees tied to oversight of the Capitol Police are under the authority of the two leaders.
Now, if the J6 Committee were in fact a legitimate Congressional Committee, operating under their Constitutional authority, they would issue a report chastising their own actions. And recommending changes to policies governing protection of the Capitol and other facilities in D.C..
VH, JAC is CLUELESS … you have a source you refuse to accept. That’s very different from being on solid ground. 🙂
Charlie…down here, my friend.
because from the evidence presented at the hearings (and it is evidence, sir. Video, audio, testimony UNDER OATH), it appears as though if they go through with indictments, there will be a long list of people indicted (from Orange Jesus down to Giuliani, Eastman, Flynn, Powell, etc.)
As I have always said…….get ‘er done. Indict the whole shootin’ match…..just be sure you have your ducks all in a row. Because under oath to a committee is romper room compared to under oath in a court where perjury carries a stiff sentence. (or used to)……remember, in a real court of law there is cross examination….and a jury. So, indict the hell out of them…try them all…..just be sure you are right.
That is the only way you will get a positive note from me. If they are found guilty, I will happily say I was wrong….if they are found not guilty, will I get the same reaction from you?
